There are two types of people in the market, some big investors and some small investors, Big investors don't care about this situation but it is very sad for small investors. When the market falls sharply, I wonder how the market situation can suddenly do that. I know that market graph charts and news mean a lot, But if you look at them, the market is going in the right condition, then suddenly it starts falling down, for no apparent reason. This shows that the market is taken up by itself and then brought down by itself. I want to know how long this market situation will last, And when will the market start to go up?
As a crypto investors for about 4 years till now, i will say crypto has seasons for the market movement. The market won't up and down in a day or just a week (maybe a coin does, but not for the whole market average), so Q3 of this year is buy season which all altcoin are in dip and it's recomend to buy some before the next quarter we will see an improvement in terms of price |

Tether is the first USD fiat token which have bigger volume than busd. It's the same but USDT is more popular. Binance is safe but it is from an owned exchange so it could be scam anytime even the chance is 0,1% if we see binance reputation. So i think it's the same nothing better than each other |

It won't be over because they might be on some different roads but as soon as we trend again in social media, they will suddenly give their so-called honest opinion which will storm the crypto market. What I meant by that is when the greatest bull run happens a few months ago, not only in social media but the mainstream media are reporting about the crypto market as well. Now that they are both silent, don't think they will be like that forever because if they find some opportunity to promote whatever coins they want, they won't hesitate to do so. You can use that opportunity or use it as an advantage to start investing in those coins and prepare to let go when the price is falling.
The power of media is the strongest in this world moreover in cryptocurrency, we could see how big the power is from everything that spreading to the world from the media will make the market move in seconds, in this digital era we already saw a coin pumped very hard right after a tweet from a person, so i think you're right the big investors are buying right now and when they already want to sell theirs, media will spread the crypto good news again |

This is just a copy of doge, doge in modern era. So i think nothing special with this coin other than just casual cryptocurrency without any real project behind. Just like doge existence before, people use it to transfer low amount of balance, use it for gambling sites, etc. And if lucky, some whales will pump it and get a huge profit from it. |

The london hardfork is the main reason, but it's also because ETH following bitcoin rally to 44k. But right now it seems BTC price declined at 44k and going back to 42k. So be careful maybe ETH will have some correction before it's next pump. But it's still cheap compared to it's all time high before. |

Nah...Small Cap Coins are just beginning! Q4 is where it all gets weird.
We have seen that so many small cap coins gone crazy when the bullish trend already happened. There will be more and more smallcap coins will be going crazy very soon. We have been seeing bunch of small cap coins were growing to the moon so fast. It doesn't even need a month to grow. People should try to take their chance by use the small cap coins as an investment. Small cap coins is easier for whales to pump. So it's not really depends on how good the project but which one is probably gonna pump by the whales. Investing on these kind of coin is kinda speculating since we don't know which one is going to pump and which one is next. |

Every investment has got risk relative to the amout of investment. Maybe the traditional stocks or forex have less risk, but none can say it is risk free. Another important thing is the belief. People believe cryptocurrency as a way to get rich in a much shorter time period. In particular people sometimes without knowing anything about the market just invest on tokens that doesn't have proper trading volume. Later there'll be no growth as well as won't be able to sell it.
Regular stocks is less risk but forex is much higher risk rather than crypto. Crypto is quite safe because you won't lose any money as long as you are not cut lossing if you are playing spot trading. If people are trading futures in crypto, it's not the crypto have high risk, it's the exchange's system designed to do the high risk trade, so i think futures is seperate from crypto because the risk is high |

You want to invest in 2024 but you asking in 2021, dont think its good think sir. i dont think there will be huge correction like that, lets say there will be huge correction but i do think there will be huge spike before the huge correction, if you hold money you should think about inflation, i think currently the rate of inflation is really high and its not best idea to hold fiat, better to invest your money into something else. I'm sure he means he want to invest from now until 2024. 80-90% price drops could happen in crypto, not only with shitcoins, NXT was a good coin with a great amount of holder in 2018, but the price crashed after it was having a hardfork, the price dropped for more than 90% and it was one of greatest drop in crypto. Currently bitcoin is gold, and ETH is a platform. For long time investing i think bitcoin is still gonna be strong because many people are hold it and the supply is limited. For around the last year I have not seen one single coin that has been newly listed worth investing in most coins today are copies of others which have failed. There are no original ideas anymore and most are scams.
There are a lot, maybe you just not explore too much yet. I think there are a lot of new projects gaining success in exchange this year. Most specially NFT, there are a lot NFT based token which gaining more than 100% profit. New projects don't need a pure new idea, they could replace the old idea with a better one as long as it good, it will works |

If the coin that I hold has the potential to increase from various reference sources, then I will also do the same as your friend. I will hold until the price of the coin rises again. However, 25% is an expectation which I think is too high.
if the price of a coin already pumped high and it looks like it's struggling to increase again, waiting for another 25% is indeed too high of an expectation. the market could go down really deep or continue to go up again no one know but the chance of such market to go down again will always higher than it going up because people want to sell and make profit. but i also have seen some people that could make big profit by just holding a little longer so it's all really difficult decision to take. It depends on the coin and the hype behind the coin itself, if we look back at the char 2 weeks ago from axs, the chart showed us several pump before it's all time high at around 50 bucks. So i think if we really trust the coin and the hype of the coin is there. It's okay to wait for more pump as long as we are not gonna regret what we will do in the future |

I think it will continue to exist, because one by one NFT games continue grow and many people got hype of this kind of play to earn games in crypto. Have you ever had a situation when you realized that you were making a mistake, but you just keep on doing it. For example, buying some kind of hype shit coin about which you are absolutely sure that in the end it will become garbage, but in the short term there are chances to get a good profit, but in the end everything turns out the other way around.

Sometimes we made a mistakes consciously but our ego still speculating that we will have a decent profit if we continue it. Usually just google about the coin or event that i wanna know then google will give us trusted source to the front. I don't really rely on the news because in cryptocurrency everything is fast paced. For me, i'm better to watch the social media (mostly twitter) to follow my investment coin updates, i follow their CEO, advisors, teams of coins or token that i hold for make sure i will get the most up to date information from them before it posted on the news

If you had ask this question five years ago, not many people in cryptocurrency would have mentioned bitcoin and ethereum in the same sentence, People would continue mentioning bitcoin alone! Bitcoin have come a long way and ethereum is catching on fast! Ethereum have make cryptocurrency to be more robust, realistic and adoptable! I recommend bitcoin and ethereum but I will say buy much more ethereum!
Bitcoin is only becoming an investment assets right now, just few people doing crypto transaction with bitcoin, they only hold it on their address for investment purpose. Meanwhile Ethereum could do both investment and transaction in a good way, there are also many good tokens under Ethereum with very good transaction speed and cheap fee. So right now people will choose eth over bitcoin. IMO |

Any cryptocurrency price right now still depending on BTC price, if BTC price is pumped hard, other altcoins will follow, so if ETH price is reach 20k. BTC transactions are slow? Judging from the high value of BTC, this is normal because there will be lots of transactions piling up and waiting in line for execution, and the number of transactions there will affect the cost.
But it's true BTC transaction is slower than other competitor and also the price fee is high. That's why many people are holding BTC not for transaction purpose but just in investment purpose. If they want to send balance between exchange, people will convert their BTC to any cheap fee coins to transaction, so i think BTC is just like modern gold right now, but not becoming global transaction currency |

I don't know how much revenue this forum generates. Even if it generates any revenue, the maintenance charges may neutralize it. This situation may change in the future and the token rollout can be considered then. But right now I don't think that it will be a good idea to come up with a Bitcointalk token. BTW, how many active users we have right now? It should be around 10,000 if I am not wrong? BPIP lists a total of 98,735 active profiles, but those who make posts at least one in a week may be around 10,000 IMO.
I think not much, because this sites is only make revenue from ads. No fee for creating accounts, selling services or any threads making is for free. It's totally supposed to create a biggest cryptocurrency forum to make this crypto space growing. I'm also sure the owner of this coin was joining crypto and bought bitcoin a long time ago, so i think they are already rich and don't have to make money from this site anymore. |
