221  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🐺Spinarium.com🐺 - iGaming casino with 400% welcome bonus + 200 free spins 🎮. on: March 06, 2024, 05:57:32 AM
First of all, welcome to this site... hope you provide us with loads of fun in the future.

The Wolf with the glowing red eyes might be a marketing flaw, because it reminds many people of the evil Wolf in the 3 little pig stories or the wolf in sheep skins.  Roll Eyes

I personally do not like welcome bonusses and the 1hour restriction is a bit silly. The site looks good, but time will tell... if it will be able to compete with the big online casinos out there.
222  Economy / Economics / Re: Approaching BTC ATH in $, but lets see that for local groceries prices on: March 06, 2024, 05:43:40 AM
No, using those food & drink prices as a measure are going to be too inacurate. The prices differ too much from store to store and popular brands like Coke are used as marketing tools. (Shops always have specials on those items to attract people to their stores) They also differ in content and size..

A good food item to use will be a "Big Mac" from McDonald's because they are very similar in size and weight all over the world.
223  Other / Archival / Re: Are investors investing in Bitcoin at ATH now are fools ? on: March 06, 2024, 05:32:42 AM
How do you know that this price is the top? This price might go up to $80 000 or $90 000 or even $100 000.

You might get in now at a bargain price of $70 000 and be able to sell it for $100 000 within a month from now.

We do not know what the impact of the hype surrounding the "Halving" will be, so this price might still be low. Everyone are too focussed on the price now... rather focus on hoarding and not selling any coins now.
224  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2024-03-02] Robert Kiyosaki Thanks Bitcoin for Challenging US Dollar ... on: March 05, 2024, 06:28:14 AM
I have read most of Robert Kiyosaki's books and I know he likes to swim against the current when it comes to investments.

Robert built a little empire around controversial statements and it keeps him in the news. This means more publicity and more book sales and more participants in his lectures and seminars.  Grin

Give it to him, he knows how to be a good businessman and he is very active on "X"
225  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Try to stick to your instincts as a gambler on: March 05, 2024, 06:12:02 AM
I find that the best way to prevent a early cashout, is to not watch the game live or to look at the bets on the site.

You can see the odds for the game changing in real-time, while the game are being played and that might tempt you to cashout early... so avoid watching that.

I record the games and I watch them the next day. I can then free up some time to do something else and also forward through a game that are boring.  Grin
226  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - The Leading Crypto Casino - Drake, UFC, Everton, Stake F1 Team on: March 05, 2024, 06:02:32 AM
Monday passed already, I predicted previously that .com users will get pre monthly bonus since .us players received post monthly bonus at then end of February. Seems that I was wrong and maybe .com users will not receive similar bonus this month. Waiting for monthly bonus only since we are already on 5th of March, so we can expect for monthly bonus within the next 10 days.

Don't expect anything, because Eddie said even he does not know where this thing about pre and post monthly originated from.

They have all the data and they can see what site has contributed the most to their profits and then they reward them. It might be that the .us site had some highroller that gambled a lot and that boosted their profits. (I know .us is a sweepstake site, but they still make money from that)

Let's hope the profits was big enough to reward both sites.
227  Economy / Economics / Re: Reckless financial decision ? on: March 05, 2024, 05:44:28 AM
It is only a reckless financial decision, if you do not have other opportunites lined up. A lot of these celebrities have loads of offers thrown their way, so they can pick and choose what they want.

It will be seen as a reckless decision, if you are a upcoming star and if you turn down a offer based on that reason. Other companies will not want to work with you, if you do that early in your career.
228  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Just a friendly Bitcoin friend reminder - High price = more scams on: March 05, 2024, 05:26:54 AM
There was 16 phishing attempts in my "inbox" this morning and the funny thing is that it is trying to target hardware wallets.

I had 3 emails claiming that I need to click on whatever link to enable 2FA for a Ledger and Trezor wallets and if this is not done before a specific date, then these wallets will be blocked. (I do not have a Trezor or a Ledger wallet... ooops)

They just mass mail this nonsense and hope someone click on the links.  Roll Eyes
229  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Just a friendly Bitcoin friend reminder - High price = more scams on: March 04, 2024, 12:32:29 PM
The Bitcoin price are reaching a new All-time-high again and we all know scammers are trying their best to get their hands on your coins.

I have seen a significant increase in Phishing emails, trying to get me to click on stupid links.

I never click on any links and all my coins are stored in long-term cold storage, so I know they are out of reach, but many people have hot wallets and they might be a target.

So guys... be safe out there and protect your coins. It's crazy season and the scammers are very active.
230  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: local bitcoin alternative on: March 04, 2024, 06:07:44 AM
I think it is cool to give something free to the community and I applaud that, but you also have to put warnings up to warn people against the dangers of using a system like this. (Also add some kind of disclaimer to protect yourself, if somebody misuse your system)

It is still early days and you still have a lot of things that need some fine tuning, so expect some negative feedback. I think "exchanges" need some competition to keep them on their toes, but I know the regulators will come looking for you.. once this grows big enough for them to take notice.

231  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Future of Gambling on: March 04, 2024, 05:56:02 AM
Well, virtual reality has grown significantly in the last couple of years and I think the Covid epidemic had a huge part in that.

During the epidemic, millions of people continued doing business via virtual meetings and people could not visit brick n mortar casinos.. so it is just natural that those two things will push the development of technologies that will increase interaction like that.

We already see online casinos everywhere and the next evolution will be virtual casinos, where people interact with other people in a digital casino.
232  Economy / Gambling / Re: An open letter to Eddie from Stake with lots of shares on Reddit on: March 04, 2024, 05:45:13 AM
The post was deleted by the user who created it. So I guess he saw the consequences of his actions and he did some damage control.

You cannot say things like that on social media and then think that there will not be consequences. Eddie is actually a nice bloke and it is his business to market it as his marketing team sees fit.

If you feel strong about something, contact the person you have an issue with ..directly, do not post it in public.. where it will be torn to pieces and also tarnish a person's reputation.
233  Economy / Economics / Re: Saving don't make wealth on: March 04, 2024, 05:35:46 AM
Have you heard what Albert Einstein had to say about "Compound Interest"? He said, "Compound interest is the 8th wonder of this world. He who understands it, earns it... he who doesn't.... pays it."

So, no matter if you invest in Bitcoin or even if you just save some extra money every month, you will still be the winner at the end of the day. Just keep doing it.
234  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Just hodl, bitcoin will do the silencing. on: March 04, 2024, 05:26:30 AM
This is very true, because a few years ago... MANY of my friends had negative things to say about Bitcoin ... when the price dropped significantly.

I had to hear that Bitcoin was just a Ponzi scheme and that it will collapse soon, but Bitcoin once again proved them wrong.

Thank you to all my fellow hodlers... it is amazing to celebrate with you.
235  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is it time now to use Premium VPN when playing in the casino? on: March 03, 2024, 05:00:49 PM
Any actions from a person to bypass casinos rules & regulation, will eventually get flagged.. and in most cases this happens when you win a large amount and you want to cash out. The casino will first check if there are any reason not to pay out the claim, because they allow the withdrawal and if they pick up any VPN use, they might block the withdrawal and the account.

I will advise against using any VPN when it comes to casinos.... and remember many of these casinos are using the same providers and if you are blocked on one provider.. then it will be blocked on all other casinos where that provider is used.  Tongue
236  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Stake; one couple two accounts illegal? on: March 03, 2024, 04:54:43 PM
I hope you created these accounts and also verified it with your own documents, because then it will be proven that you are not the same person that are creating multiple accounts.

I think what happened was that you might be using another account on another site and that the Sport book provider flagged your account for something illegal.... then your other accounts on other sites gets limited too, because your IP address gets flagged.  Huh
237  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin proven many times holders won't regret on: March 03, 2024, 09:51:25 AM
It is nice to say this retrospectively , but when you have to wait for say three years for Bitcoin to reach the new All-time-high (ATH) ...then most people will give up or they will find a reason to sell it before it happens.

I had several friends that sold before it recovered and all of them have huge regrets. I have waited for that recovery and I hoarded even though it reached a all-time-high and then I sold with the next recovery... I made almost 800% profit on those coins.  Grin
238  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2024-02-02] Expert Peter Brandt Foresees Bitcoin’s Ascent to $200,000 by 2025 on: March 01, 2024, 06:16:52 AM
I acctually read the second book he wrote, called "Diary of a professional commodity trader" and you can see that his 48years experience in trading is rock solid.

I am just not sure that old school traders like him are very experienced in predicting the Bitcoin price. We know Bitcoin is not your average "Commodity/Currency" and the slightest bad news can have an enormous impact on the price.

The Bitcoin ETFs and the impact of the media hype surrounding the upcoming "Halving" will boost the price, but I cannot see that we will see any price above $100 000.
239  Economy / Economics / Re: I went London i have questions now the wealthy life there on: March 01, 2024, 06:03:15 AM
You went to one of the biggest cities of the world and the financial hub of England. They house many of the richest companies and people in the world.

London is also a shopping tourist destination for rich people from other countries too, so not all those people you see there are from London.

Most people are exited when they are shopping ... so it's natural that they would look happy. (A lot of them are knee deep in debt and they cry at home)
240  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is it possible to inherit a gambling debt? on: March 01, 2024, 05:47:26 AM
Well, in my country ... you advertice in the news papers that someone passed away and then the companies have a short period to lay claims for outstanding debt and after that period expired, no more claims will be paid.

They will then take money from the estate of the deceased to pay the debt or they will sell things to pay for it.

In most cases, companies write off the debt .. because they did not notice the advertisement in the news papers.
