221  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar - UEFA Qualifiers on: March 26, 2022, 09:18:33 PM
All y'all seeing another suprised win from Macedonia against Portugal should wake up from sleep, Italy had a lots of chances, they underrated Macedonia, had it been Macedonia scored maybe in the first half or early second half Italy would have been more serious, they felt Macedonia would have been an easy win, Portugal is so lucky to meet Macedonia, Italy would have been a though match with Portugal
Without a doubt the win by Macedonia was not expected by anyone and it may be due to underestimating them. It is a fact that Italy is not known to score many goals but their advantage is always their defense and when that failed they lost the match. Italy made too many changes in the final minutes of the match and that may have cost them their chances of appearing in yet another World Cup but there is no way North Macedonia is going to defeat Portugal.
222  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto.com as Sponsor's for FIFA World Cup on: March 26, 2022, 08:23:23 PM

It's about marketing, binance pays more attention to this, advertises more through bloggers, which is very important in our time. Different advertising sources bring different results. Although Crypto.com is a popular exchange, Binance's marketers are definitely works better, of course this is just my opinion. The fact that Crypto.com became a sponsor of the FIFA World Cup is a very good step and their popularity will be grows.
Binance have the capital to sponsor any major tournament and yet they are not doing those things and i am not sure about their advertising revenue. Sponsoring the FIFA World Cup is a huge deal and there are many countries that love the game and it is a truly global sport and it will put more reach to crypto.com than sponsoring anything else.

Personally i am yet to use the exchange but will try them out and see how their UI and performance.
223  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best way to invest in crytocurrency in 2022? on: March 26, 2022, 07:04:05 PM
~
The safest one is do bounty. You wont need any capital but only your social account and if you got a good account here in forum. But if you have money to risk with, then trading is the best one, all other you mentioned is also good but its quite hard to benefit on it if you dont have experience with that. Staking also, if you are fond of interest when holding tokens.
I remember you created a list of trusted projects if i am not mistaken but then you did not update everything and there were even scams in those list you posted. The problem is that it is hard to monitor which ones are scams and which ones are legit when it comes to bounty and hence it stopped investing in projects even during the IDO as it is hard to trust them. Right now i would stay away from any new projects as everything is going down. Will wait for the market to stabilize before investing in alts.

The best is always to invest in the main projects as you will always recover even if the market goes down.
224  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: MMA Info and Predictions - Bellator, KSW, PFL, ONE... on: March 25, 2022, 11:47:25 PM
I haven't paid much attention on ONE before but did they ever have a format like the UFC?  Like having a pre fight press conference and a ceremonial weigh ins?  I think it's cool that they do.
Yes, they always have both press conference and weight-ins with different rules like hydration test, but all is looking very professional.
I think Demetrious Johnson is going to lose again, he can't cope with Muay Thai champion Rodtang Jitmuangnon.
I think the UFC should implement the hydration test and if that happens most of the fighters will be forced to move up a weight division as they amount of weight some of the fighters are cutting is huge  Cheesy.

Demetrious Johnson was not having any challengers in the UFC but now he is having some serious challenges, may be because he is slowing down because of his age as he is 35 years. The fight against Rodtang Jitmuangnon is a mixed rules fight right, first Muay Thai and then MMA. If DJ can survive the first rounds he will win the MMA bout with ease.
225  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Russian head of the committee on Energy about selling oil and gas in Bitcoin on: March 25, 2022, 11:15:40 PM
Yes, for those that care about the surge in the price of Bitcoin this is good news but in the season when this decision was made by the Russian to escape the US sanction while their Senate is already feeling discontent with the decision of the El Salvador government of signing Bitcoin as legal tender this could lead to something else.
Even i pointed out these views here, these sort of the legal struggle going on globally and if countries are overcoming the sanctions with a decentralized currency, what will be the decisions they are going to make when they pass the law on cryptocurrencies and how they are going to handle them is a slippery slope situation. Hopefully we will not see any drastic measures being taken against the entire space.
226  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk Wont Sell his Bitcoin on: March 25, 2022, 10:56:09 PM
If you see this as a sign to hold, remember that Elon is a multi-billionaire and he can afford to hold his bitcoins for a really long time without having to worry about the movements of the market so if you're not like him then be careful putting all of your money in bitcoin because you'll never be getting the same situation as Elon will get.
Elon is a billionaire and he likes to play along with the trend and when he claims that he will hold for the long term, he made his profit for his entire company during the pandemic in the cryptocurrency market where he invested billions and then booking his profit in billions and now he is claiming that he is here for the long term. He might be here for the long term, but he will be booking his profit along the way  Cheesy.
227  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What stable coin are you into? on: March 25, 2022, 07:42:54 PM
So far I haven't had any problems using USDT and BUSD, because in my opinion these two stable coins are very universal so they are very easy to use and the costs are very low, besides that USDT and BUSD also have very high sales volume in the market, so I really believe that these two stable coins will be the best stable and can last a long time in crypto.
I am not debating about the popularity of these stable coins, especially USDT and BUSD, but i am not yet convinced with their transparency when it comes to escrowing the same amount of dollars in fiat before minting the tokens. It is hard to predict what the future holds for these stable coins but i will not trust them for the long haul but for the short term i am also using these trading pair and then move to fiat if holding for the long term.
228  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Russian individuals are using crypto to bypass sanctions on: March 25, 2022, 06:42:24 PM
~
European central bank is now understanding the implications of cryptocurrency and decentralization.

Billionaires, big companies and even common individuals are trying to get around sanctions by using cryptocurrencies. It is possible to get around some, not all of them.
Cryptocurrency,  specially bitcoin, mean freedom. Certainly all.those sanctions showed the world that n money is really  safe (putin jusr closed the stock market), nd some bitcoin in your portfolio are really handy
It is not a secret that the implications of cryptocurrencies will be used to overcome regulations and restrictions and will be used for a global trade without restrictions and now that all the central banks and the government are aware of the untapped power of a decentralized currency, what do you think will be the implications in the long term when they are planning to regulate the entire cryptocurrency space.
229  Economy / Economics / Re: Russia - Ukraine | War imminent? on: March 24, 2022, 09:34:14 PM
Russia will lose the war. War crimes and sanctions. Ukraine will still join Nato. These allies have told Ukraine not to say no to joining Nato. That's why the allies are supplying more weapons to Ukraine. The Nato leaders met a few days ago combined with the EU. Biden has already met Germany concerning the war. Germany and the UK are sending tanks and missiles to help Ukraine. I guess it will be tougher for Russians. That means Ukraine might be on top of the situation very soon.
I am not sure it is helping Ukraine like they wanted to. The war started a while back and i am surprised that it is still going on and the resilient of the people in Ukraine. But if Russia thinks that other countries are helping them then you might see an all out attack and there is no way Ukraine will be able to resist that and i doubt Nato or other forces will join Ukraine in fighting the Russians.
230  Economy / Speculation / Re: How these events will affect crypto market? on: March 24, 2022, 05:09:59 PM
Well, Russia replaced USD with their Ruble itself so the value of USD is going to fall if more countries followed the same as Russia is going to do. Also now every government may decide about adding some cryptos into their reserves if USD falls further.
What do you mean by Russia replacing USD and using their Ruble. Do you mean for foreign transaction or as their reserve currency. I am confused with your statement. Their Ruble is going down in valuation and even before that they were hit by sanctions and other trade restrictions and they were struggling and these new restrictions will suffocate them for sure and how they are going to overcome these is a big question.

I do not invest in Bitcoin expecting other external factors as it is hard to understand how the market would behave during certain things, everyone is expecting inflation and how the market would be is still a mystery as some would book their profit in the cryptocurrency space to over come other loss and if that is the case the market would go down.
231  Other / Off-topic / Re: Jake Paul vs Conor McGregor on: March 23, 2022, 06:39:58 PM
~
Then there's talk of Diaz and Poirier rematches...  Personally, I think making a boxing comeback and getting some money isn't the worst idea if he were to go after Jake Paul first.  That would give his leg more time to heal.  However, if he lost to Jake Paul in boxing, that would seemingly be the end of his career.  With Jake having so much size on him, I'm not sure if that's the gamble I'd make so long as UFC title fights were still available.  What do you think?
Logically the fights Conor McGregor should look forward is the Nate Diaz rematch and after that if Nick Diaz comes back then he can fight against him if he is able to defeat Nate Diaz in the trilogy and all of these fights will be a huge success in terms of the numbers and the money earned. If he fights against Jake Paul which is a much heavier fighter there is no way Conor McGregor would stand a chance against him and another proposal of fighting against Kamaru Usman who will be a nightmare fight for Conor McGreor as he will be humiliated.

Batting first is a bad decision. Bangladesh captain Tamim Iqbal also expressed the same feeling, stating the wicket wasn't what they expected. In every department, Bangladesh fell short of expectations today against South Africa. As a result, South Africa won the second ODI by seven wickets and 76 balls left.
With two contrasting matches i am waiting to see what will be the result in the next match as Bangladesh have a few tricks up its sleeve in this tournament as they are able to trouble some of the South African batsman and if they do not make blunders even after winning the toss if they did not understand the nature of the pitch then there is a chance for another surprise from Bangladesh.

Most chances we will have no positive results from these both series because currently West Indies is in not good shape, and they are bringing flat pitches for having some better results for their team instead of supportive their quality is not good enough for facing England.
The match ended in a draw but what is striking is that apart from Kraigg Brathwaite no one the players were able to play for a longer period of time which means if England would have give a target of 240 runs to chase or 10 more overs left then there was a chance for them to pick the rest of the wickets and may be probably win the match.

~
Remainder of the series will be exactly the same. Pakistan knows that they don't have the capability to defeat Australia. So they played defensively and asked the curator to prepare a dead track, which offer no support for the bowlers. Same was the case with the West Indians. They also aimed for a draw, and they got that in the end. The only ones who are losing out here are the spectators. They are spending so much money and time to watch these matches and what are they getting in return? A few matches that end with no result?
Either way it is good to see teams touring Pakistan after a long gap and now only India is the only country that is not interested to tour Pakistan and that too due to political reason. The fans would love to see the match either way and i did not see any highlights either but how are the crowds in Pakistan, are the stadiums getting full.
234  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Comparing the previous bear run of Market on: March 20, 2022, 08:51:02 PM
~
And what is the difference? So far, we are repeating the events of the previous cycle. For example, at the end of 2017, we reached ATH, then there was a strong sell-off, then a recovery, and after May, Bitcoin continued to fall. What happens in this cycle. At the end of 2021, Bitcoin reaches ATH, then there is a strong sell-off, and now there is a recovery. The one-year candle is now in the red range, as it was in 2018.

There is a possibility that this year will also end in a bearish cycle.
The things you said are true but the market has grown than it was 4 years ago, i am also expecting a major correction but there are multiple factors that are in play we did not have in the past, including institutional investors who is holding billions of dollars worth of cryptocurrencies and if anyone of these institutional investors think about booking their profit then we will see the market going for a major correction, till now they are selling off strategically rather than dumping everything and then another factor is the global financial sector where everyone is expecting major inflation and i am curious what the investors will do during these situation, where they will go after gold or they will set a portion for the cryptocurrency market as well during those situations.
235  Economy / Speculation / Re: If Russia goes full Bitcoin adoption on: March 20, 2022, 07:04:44 PM
~
Banning Russia from the use of Visa and Mastercard should be a great lesson to every nation not to depend on any continent for business or survival. Every country should be dependent like China to avoid situations like this.
In a matter of time, Russia will only consider using bitcoin as an alternative currency if China and India couldn't help them to boost their economy
Even in this situation where Visa Card and Master Card put on restrictions on the entire country, do you think that Russia will not be having a back up plan, as you mentioned they are having close ties with China and they have their own network and they will overcome these sanctions with the alternative provided by China and they are planning to build a strategic position in Asia and globally which is not great but that is where the situation is positioning with the developments we are seeing now.
236  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin bounce back to 60k in this year? on: March 20, 2022, 06:29:22 PM
~
But that's just one side of the equation, of course the demand is always there but on-chain data could be interpreted in difference ways specially bitcoin being withdrawn from exchanges. It could be that they want to secure it and put it in their wallet for long term. Or institutional investors buying a ton from exchanges. So still we don't know if we are in a bullish situation or not or just the normal thing to do for whales and retail investors, remove their bitcoin from centralized exchanges.
We can interpret the data in a different view point, in volatile times you never know there are institutional institutions or even government institutions purchasing huge number of coins in case there is a huge inflation looming in their country. Anything is possible and it is hard to analyze those things unless the centralized exchanges provide the data for everyone to see about who is making these huge withdrawals.
237  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What can we do to speed up Bitcoin mass adoption? on: March 20, 2022, 05:59:48 PM
We couldn't expect Bitcoin Mass adoption, however, we can't disclose any possibility that it comes in the future. I actually ask some people regarding Bitcoin and to ask what they know about this, I'm glad they heard this word but I'm sad hearing from them saying it was a scam. I could see that the only way to mass adoption is to eliminate the negative mindset of the people first. And showing them the benefits we got from this will help to enlighten their minds and change.
We have come a long way in the last 10 years and the adoption rate keeps on increasing every year. You cannot expect all the third world countries using the cryptocurrency space where they do not have internet connection. We never expected any country to accept Bitcoin as a legal tender few years ago and now we have countries using Bitcoin as a legal tender and the changes keep on coming.
238  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: March 20, 2022, 02:57:48 PM
Another match up and another surprise from Bangladesh but i would say the pitch was turning a lot and it was a difficult pitch to bat and Bangladesh was wrong in assessing the pitch as they won the toss and elected to bat. If they would have sent South Africa to bat after winning the toss, i think the situation would have been different. Toss was crucial in a pitch like this and Bangladesh ended up in the receiving end.
239  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: March 19, 2022, 11:58:55 PM

240  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't Be Under Pressure To act (Altcoin) on: March 19, 2022, 11:41:34 PM
~
Not all coins are the same, there are some coins worth holding and some coins that should be disposed of so it's better to update your portfolio from time to time, there should be no pressure to hold or dispose of, each coin that you are holding should have its reason to stay or be dispose of some coins takes time to develop if you're following the developing its platform you have an idea of the time frame when you expect it to perform better in the market.
Depending on the project you can take positions according to the market situation, i missed the meme hype during the initial stages but then i jumped into some of the hype projects and then booked my profit without holding much as i am not too confident to hold them for a long time. There are some projects that are good but the price is yet to move higher and hopefully we need to hold for the next rally.
