In many of the matches where CSK was chasing the targets, the combination of Dhoni and Kedar Jadhav slowed down the chase and made sure that CSK loses the match. Last year CSK was struggling because of the changes that happened in the end and some of the players were struggling with form but this year they changed the team and now they are the best team in the competition and the matches they played it looked like they could reach the finals, it is a completely changed approach while some of the teams are still struggling to win matches consistently and even though MSD did not contribute with the bat his captaincy is excellent. |

Bookmakers made Dariush a big favorite against Tony Ferguson and I expect to see bloody interesting 3 rounds, but my main bet is going to be Charles Oliveira to win. Beneil Dariush is a really tough opponent and he is a favorite because Tony Ferguson has slowed down considerably and he is on a loosing streak and the invincibility he had is gone as opponents started to figure him out well. When it comes to Charles Oliveira and Michael Chandler it is going to be a great fight because Charles Oliveira is an all rounded fighter with serious ground and submission skills while Michael Chandler has the power to knockout anyone and the wrestling background to take down anyone. ~
I though Ferguson would bring a good fight to Nurmagomedov but after that Gathje fight things have changed and Ferguson was then out of the picture in facing Khabib, now if he doesn't beat Dariush he should just quit of getting a championship bout.
Everyone has the belief that Tony Ferguson could give Khabib the toughest test because of his unorthodox style and his ground game but when he was dominated by Charles Oliveira it was clear that Khabib would kill him literally.  |

Humm, did you trade on BSC today? Gas has been rising a lot. I think a lot of improvement is still needed and new projects that need to be reexamined in terms of BSC's dependence if they don't want to move forward are all important to throw their projects away. Dhoni was part of the CSK team which selected the players during auctions. Despite widespread criticism that the team is full of 35 plus players, he took no additional step to include fresh blood. There were no replacement for players who became unavailable. When Suresh Raina pulled out (due to some issues with the CSK management), the replacement for him was not available. Even this time, CSK went for players such as Robin Uthappa, who belongs to the 35 plus category. Not sure whether Dhoni has any say in the auction process when selecting the players, the team management who spends the money and the coaching members will take care of the team selection as far as i know. This time around they rectified all their issues and they were having one of the best seasons with new additions in the team and i was expecting them to dominate this years IPL. Dhoni is the coolest in all situation. Along with this he have a winning luck with him. This is the reason why we can see more power performance from Chennai and at unexpected situations changing the entire match. Last year this was missing, but the team was criticised for its 35+ player list. In one of the season he played for Pune, by that time he took the team into playoff. So, more than performance he is a lucky player. I will not call it luck if he is able to take Pune to the play off, from what i have seen he has a much deeper understanding of the game and his intuitions usually works in crucial situations and you can call it luck but i call it his skill set. |

WOW! another event is on the horizon, and I really don't have any idea about the main event yet, but this match up with Tony Ferguson is what I am thinking to have a discussion about, well after his defeat with Justin Gaethje and Charles Oliveira I really think that Ferguson had to get over with that lost, and getting into action again, and Beneil Dariush seems to be a good match up for him and also can take the fight to the floor, Well I would further look at Beneil Dariush if what may he have in store for Tony Ferguson. Beneil Dariush is on a 6 fight winning streak and if you look at his career he is having difficulty with good strikers and it looks like he has improved a lot in the stand up game as he has two knockouts and two submission victories in his last 5 fights and it is a must win situation for Tony Ferguson as a loss in this fight means he will never compete for the title ever again in the UFC. |

Dhoni may be a better captain when compared to Kohli, but I don't think that he is among the best. During the last year's IPL, he insisted on including players such as Kedar Jadhav in the squad, which resulted in many losses for the CSK, in matches which they could have otherwise won easily.
If you remember the Chennai team last year there was no one available for selection other than including Kedar Jadhav, the team did not give any replacement players either and Shane Watson was struggling throughout the tournament and the only option was to include an overseas player and there are limits for that as well and either they had to include Murali Vijay which is not another replacement in the T20 format. Dhoni can only perform according to the team you get to lead and if you are getting a worse team you cannot perform well above his teams capabilities. |

I don't know what these people are smoking, when they expect Abid Ali to score another 85 runs when two tail end batsmen are batting with him.

There is a long gap between the next match i think, after looking at the schedule the next Test match is between England and New Zealand on June 2 and the second match starts on June 10th and after that we have the WTC final. |

Virat Kohli is a very good player, but not a good captain. I would rather agree with Cricinfo's choice of Kieron Pollard. His win percentage in matches which he captained Mumbai Indians is quite high. MS Dhoni hasn't performed very well as a player in IPL 2021, but I would still rate him as one of the best captains. Steve Smith may be another option, but right now I can't consider too many other players for that role. As far as I am concerned, it has to be either Pollard or Dhoni. I will choose Dhoni as a captain in any situation because he always finds a way to win matches and in the last season they had the worst team and yet the team was able to lift themselves in the later part of the tournament after the knockout stage defeating top teams and Mumbai is always a much better team and anyone can become the best captain with a good win percentage with a team like Mumbai who has dominating bowlers and a blend of local talents who could take on any bowler. |

Abid Ali was on 215. He was almost hundred runs away from scoring a triple century. I don't understand the argument here. How can you guys say that he was denied of a triple century? Are you 100% sure that he could have scored another 85 runs without getting dismissed? Pakistan had just two wickets remaining and the Zimbabwe bowlers could have taken those two within a couple of overs. The problem might be the argument came because they did not see the entire scorecard . If he was above 260 runs then the captain would have given him the opportunity to score the runs and reach the milestone as it can be once in a lifetime opportunity, but clearly that was not the situation here. The declaration came after Nauman Ali was dismissed. The no.10 and no.11 batsmen were Shaheen Shah Afridi and Tabish Khan, who are genuine tail enders. I fully agree with Babar Azam's decision to declare the innings. Abid had zero chance of getting a triple century.
I am hearing about these players for the first time but he played an outstanding innings and he deserved a century as he feel short of just 3 runs. |

Watched it several times, but havent found that moment where Ferreira tapped. Maybe someone could point on that moment.
In the post fight show Fabricio Werdum explained clearly on what happened during the fight where he felt the tap when he was on a chokehold and the video clearly shows that Renan Ferreira tapped and i am sure that he would have slept if he did not loosen up the grip as Fabricio Werdum is known for his submission skills and one of the best in the ground as he submitted multiple legends in the sport including Fedor Emelianenko in his prime and Cain Velasquez. I think it is about "if this news is correct, people will buy more and if it is wrong, the ones who bought anticipating this will sell" type of situation. Basically there are some people who already bought because they believe that Alibaba bought 20 billion dollars worth of bitcoin, and some people are still uncertain about it and will decide depending on the news. The news about Alibaba investing 20 billion dollars will be debunked as rumors when the Q1 earnings report will be published in a few days. Jack Ma is always skeptical about Bitcoin and he always viewed the Bitcoin market as a bubble and hence i do not think that he will be taking a huge risk to invest $20 billion in the market, i wont be surprised if it is a few millions but to invest $20 billion even after calling the Bitcoin market as a bubble will be outrageous . |

At this point I am not going to believe the fight will happen until I see both Fury and Joshua signing the contract and claiming they are going to fight, promoters believe that by doing all of this they benefit the sport but it is really unnecessary, it is a reunification fight, winner takes all on the most popular division on boxing, the heavyweight division, among the best fighters we have at the moment I am also waiting for them to sign the contract and announce the fight date official as it is taking a long time and it is testing the patience of all the fight fans as we just want to see this fight happen when they are in their prime and boxing has the habit of testing the patience of the boxing fans and so is the reason UFC gained more popularity as they always makes match up the fight fans wanted. Eddie Hearn talked about the date of August 14 in Saudi Arabia and lets wait for the official announcement and hopefully it will take a long time. |

Well everyone is entitled to their own opinion so that is fine however if the fight was boring then I can only assume the fight is going to be even more boring now, after all it is not as if the two are still improving, both Manny and Floyd are out of their prime with Floyd being retired and Manny is getting closer to that I never considered it to be boring but while i was watching the fight live i thought Manny Pacquiao was more aggressive and landing more punches than Floyd Mayweather and may be because i wanted Manny Pacquiao to win the fight and there were instances where Mayweather was rolling out with some of the punches but i still thought Manny could win that fight but after watching the fight the second time there were some rounds that Manny won but the judges gave it to Mayweather and after the seventh round Mayweather increase his output and in the last rounds he was running around avoiding Manny. besides Floyd is never going to take a fight in which he may actually lose because we know he wants to remain undefeated as he is now.
I am hearing this sentiment for a long time now, he faced Marcos Maidana, Canelo Álvarez, Miguel Cotto, Victor Ortiz, Shane Mosley, Juan Manuel Márquez, Ricky Hatton, Oscar De La Hoya and so on and you think he will not face any tough fighters to remain undefeated. I do agree that the judges mostly favors Mayweather as there were too many close fights in his career but to say that he will not face tough competition is undermining his achievements. |

Why it always has to be a test-playing nation? If other test playing nations were not available, then Pakistan could have played against Afghanistan or Ireland. And I am sure that these two teams could have performed much better than Zimbabwe. And there are associate nations, who deserve a chance of playing against a test nation. I am talking about teams such as Nepal, Netherlands, Kenya and Scotland. Given the pathetic performance put up by Zimbabwe, I don't think that these teams could have performed any worse. Zimbabwe was the team available as far as i know and so is the reason they are playing a series right now and even though it is a one sided affair we can only speculate that other associate teams will perform better, Afghanistan will not get the service of Rashid Khan because he was busy with the IPL and so does a couple of other players and you cannot imagine the collapse they will be in without players like Rashid Khan and cannot expect anything different from any other associate team as well. |

You missed the update, this fight will not happen anymore as shared . Eddie Hearn confirmed that the fight date will be announced officially and the area is confirmed and the fight will take place in Saudi Arabia and the reason for the long delay is because of the pandemic situation and these promoters always look for opportunities to make more money and they were expecting to conduct the fight in a huge stadium in the UK with audience but they need to switch that idea according to the situation and now the expected date for the fight is August 14 as per Eddie Hearn. |

Does not matter if the match is finished in two days or three days. What matter is that Zimbabwe will lose the match and lose the series. This will further create problem from the Zimbabwe team and board as they fail to make any considerable performance in the whole series. ICC won't be happy organizing such one sided series. Does it really matter and do you think the ICC will be really surprised by the performance of Zimbabwe, Pakistan made this series possible because there were no other teams available and they need some sort of momentum going on for their players and so is the reason they are playing against Zimbabwe as far i understand. They should have included more T20 matches so that it would be competitive as they even defeated Pakistan in one match but Test matches was one sided beatings. |
