223  Economy / Computer hardware / LTB PCIE connectors for antminer. on: March 24, 2016, 07:51:59 PM
Im looking to get a couple of the connectors that I can solder on to the board.  I have a couple that melted due to bad power supply wires.  Any idea?
224  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: BCMonster.com Mining Pool / [PPLNS Payout][Pays TxFee] 5th Block found! on: March 24, 2016, 07:45:16 PM
Why does he have so many connections?  Seems like if you were running 300+ TH you would know how to connect to pools.

Your working under the assumption that he is making honest mistakes and not being malicious.  It was Kano that  made me aware that he was a suspected for block withholding also.  Once I locked his payout the other started.
225  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: BCMonster.com Mining Pool / [PPLNS Payout][Pays TxFee] 5th Block found! on: March 24, 2016, 04:57:28 AM
I just found this pool, I like discovering these small pools.  I've been pointing one S5 at JohnnyBravo's pool a bit, I'm going to share it's time here, too.  Just one little guy trying to show his support for the other little guys, good luck!

Web page has been really slow to load today, though, not sure what that's all about.

Thought it was a where a couple people had pointed asics at a diff 1 port.  Just polluted the DB.  Turns out That saradis guy had 57+ connections to my port 80.  Fixed that issue and then suddenly everything is snappy again.  Weird.  Shocked

sorry back up.

I'm just going to be flat out real!  That probably would not have happened (atleast not as quickly as it did) without johnybravo0311.  That dude is amazing.  On facetime with an ipad while he was helping me get it all going.  Amazing dude! Send him some tips if you have a little extra.  I will be as soon as we hit this block.

I'm going to try and move the core around 10pm est (-8). Tonight.     Should only be down for a few minutes.  Try not to throw a rental till I get it back up.

Thanks for the update, I'm still trying to figure out why my miners are hashing on antpool, I didn't even set them up to hash there.

Email me a screen shot of your miner status screen.

Just a quick update from the saradis situation.

I received this response.

-----------------------------------
So after those days you find something against me? or you just close my account and steal my Bitcoins from there?
-----------------------------------

This is my reply.

----------------------------------
Saradis,

I'm not sure what that means.  Its been about 24 hours and no I have not had time to check on it any more.  I had to work all day.

For starters I emailed you last night asking you for an explanation and point blank told you I had only frozen your payout until I had some time to check into it.  I also told you i was waiting to see what Kano had to say also.  There are defiantly some people that want me to redistribute your coin to the pool users. But I have not done so as of YET.

Your response last night did not help your cause saying your miners find blocks when you want them to.  I just do not understand why people would be accusing you (kano) that have such a strong understanding of  bitcoin.    I emailed you asking for an explanation.  Nothing more.

Trust me.  I was more than happy to have you hashing on the pool.  I need the hash to build the pool.  However I can't risk this being a real problem.  It would not be fair to anyone on the pool or the Bitcoin Network as a whole for that matter.  I will let you know what we find as soon as I have time to sort and comb through more logs.

Just a quick heads up at some point over the next couple of days I am going to have to pull the server down for about 20 minutes while I relocate the block chain info to another SSD.  The database expansion was much quicker than I originally anticipated.  We are quickly running out of room.  Moving about 60 gigs to its own drive will give us a long time to grow and probably increase database performance.  I will try to give everyone a heads up when I am going to do it.  Right now I am thinking possibly tomorrow night if I get home from work at a reasonable time.

I do want to address one more thing.  I'm. Not sure what you guys are refering to saying that your shares are not counting.   The block withholding accusations that were made do not effect other miners shares in any way.  Just the payout because of the work that was being done by the other person.  I am yet to see anyone not posting shares that has been mining as I have been looking through the stratum logs for the last little bit gathering info.

Please provide more information.
233  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: BCMonster.com Mining Pool / [PPLNS Payout][Pays TxFee] 5th Block found! on: March 20, 2016, 02:02:41 PM
He has been paid 0 btc.  He just started mining this round.
234  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: BCMonster.com Mining Pool / [PPLNS Payout][Pays TxFee] 5th Block found! on: March 20, 2016, 04:30:33 AM
Ok here is a copy of the email that I have sent to Saradis because I believe that there should be complete transparency on these matters.  I am not going to sit idle and let anyone steal coin from the other users or myself for that matter.  Please let me know if you have anything else to add.

-------------------------------
Saradis,

There are some pretty bad accusations flying around the forum about you.  I hope they are not true.   We are a small new pool and rely on the bitcoin we make renting to to mine the next round on rentals while we are working so hard to grow the pool.   If there is something wrong with your miners that causes them not produce blocks please let me know and cease mining on the pool.  If not please let me know what is going on and why Kano would think that you are doing such a thing.

-At this time I have locked your payout and am gathering more information myself from stratum logs, as well as waiting on Kano to let me know his further findings.  If you find a block or your shares check out I will immediately re instate your payout as I do not believe in "stealing" from anyone that wants to mine on my pool.  However I DO expect everyone that is a part of our community to be = contributors to our cause and not stealing from our other users.  Please reply and defend these accusations.

Laviathon

Do you think it is possible for them to be redirecting the block finding shares at a local wallet and the rest of the garbage shares at the pools?
That's not possible.

I did not think so.  Was just trying to come up with a reason other than douchbagery ;/

I agree i'm getting a little anxious!
238  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: BCMonster.com Mining Pool / [PPLNS Payout][Pays TxFee] 5th Block found! on: March 20, 2016, 03:12:57 AM
why not just ban his account?
He already is banned. We just need to figure out how to correct this round for all of us without detrimental side effects to the round.

He is not banned I have just locked his payout.  I PM'ed Kano and he replied.  He is still researching it and has not banned saradis from his pool.  He is just holding payouts.  The foma group was the one that he was concerned most about.
239  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: BCMonster.com Mining Pool / [PPLNS Payout][Pays TxFee] 5th Block found! on: March 20, 2016, 02:58:37 AM
So, what does this mean exactly? for the pool that is

What it means to you guys is I will distribute the btc to the people that deserve it if we were to find another block.  I really just want to remove his work from existence but am concerned we will hurt the database.  Trying to track down the answer now.    If it is true that he was withholding then it is bad for the pull on a statistics level also.    It will inflate our round drastically.

edit: by deserve it-  I mean i will do the math and distribute the shares to every miner based on what you should have received if he was not present.
240  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: BCMonster.com Mining Pool / [PPLNS Payout][Pays TxFee] 5th Block found! on: March 20, 2016, 02:38:26 AM
We are working on it. Don't worry guys you won't lose any btc or shares. Thanks for your help Kano.

I just got off the ice saw this message and called Laviathon right away.

The accont is payout locked right now at this second.  Consulting with johnny on removing his shares.. Worried it will crash the database because the shares will not match up at that point.   We want to make sure we handle this correctly.
