So now with new update do we need to keep wallet open all the time for staking?

From the 31st of December you have two choices.

You either keep your wallet open to receive maximum interest continually, variable depending on how many CBX are staking on the network and how many CBX you own.

Or you can opt out and close your client, forfeiting any interest you would have earned to other CBX staking on the network

Cool..... If I'm not working I'd like to tune in
( I'm on call )
It's just a matter of time before this thing takes off

....and time is on our side.

Stay tuned LRH, I've got a busy weekend ahead but I should be able to squeeze in some time on Sunday evening. Will update and throw up a couple of promo threads elsewhere sometime tomorrow.

On another note lab rat hoax and CapnBDL, I will be doing a live quiz in the IRC chat within the client sometime over the weekend. The questions will refer to the content of the recently released white paper. There will be instant CBX prizes for first correct answers, so get swatting up on the paper. I will give plenty of notice of the time the quiz will take place beforehand.
All are welcome so get those clients downloaded and white papers read.

I wasn't trying to be a snot
I'm just saying that the previous logo had a stronger precious metal
Statement to it,
the new one is good, but the precious metal connotation
Seems to be stronger with the previous design, I like the reflections
I hope to offer constructive criticism
I really like this coin, very impressed with it, and confident
It will succeed big time

Everyone is entitled to their opinion, and everyone can't be pleased all of the time.

I'm sure there will be colour/skin options added in future releases if that is what the community wants.
But at the moment we should be grateful for the effort the team has spent getting us to where we are. I would like to see some positivity, not nit picking over non important aspects of the release. The next few weeks will be exciting times for the community, enjoy it  Wink

Hi Guys,

I just installed the new Vault for CBX & I must ask....did I do something wrong? I have a white/blue/lime green color scheme. I didn't see any 'theme' pulldown to change it. Are these the new colors? If so, please bring back the 'Classic Black'. I'm not saying it's ugly...just not what I envisioned for CBX.

Thank You,

CapnBDL
      Cool

EDIT; NO...I lied! It is FUGLY! I thought a Classic Black with Silver n Gold would have been a much better fit for CryptoBullion! There...I said what I really think of it.

EDIT2; AND..just discovered, The problem with allowing 'min2tray' (stuck) still exists in this Vault. (Win10-64)
Yeah I kind of agree.... Something was lost in translation.   And
Stainless steel is not a precious metal

Yea yea, and thank you to the development team for putting in the selfless work to develop and evolve CBX into a potentially leading crypto currency/commodity. Thank you for the hours spent coding, spending out of own pocket cash on advertising, and keeping the dream alive.
Oh and thank you for a great looking client with great functionality. Not to mention the PoSP algorithm which will have took many hours to code and test.

There.... I said what I really think

Edit: if you don't want 'min to tray' don't select it in the menu, simple

PoSP White Paper released:

http://cryptobullion.io/white-paper/

A really enjoyable white paper to read. Well written, and in a way that most will understand.

Looking forward to the release of the client, and I can feel that buzz of excitement growing in my heart once again!

This first of its kind algorithm, will truly be a game changer for CBX, and provide the attention it deserves, along with bringing some old players back to the game I'm sure.

Someone from Cryptopia is asking this question and I was sure I saw something pass in here about it, but I can't find it...

We know the biggest CBX faucet is bulliongalore.com; I know there is another one - can someone point it to me please?

thanks!

Did you notice a couple of Spanish-speaking CBX fans in the troll box?

Maybe something to do with these guys www.tinyurl.com/z7dttcp

Received my assignment of promo cards in the mail today. Will be handing some out tomorrow. Coincidently we also have a few French technicians over in my department at work for a few days. With the French text on one side of each card, they will be going back to France with a card each  Smiley

for some reason I can't get the android wallet to connect I've tried settings uninstalling reinstalling nothing works when I first installed it a few weeks ago it was fine now nothing

Looking into this. Anyone else experiencing an issue?

Yea, the address generated by the app and funded with 10 bulls a few weeks back, is now showing zero balance within the app. I've checked the address using the block explorer and it has a 0.10 balance. So could be a connection issue to the network.

Cheesy Quite infuriating at times, but I always tell myself that I will have the last laugh hehe.

Cards look great, they will be a big help for the community.

Hey Elambert,
If you are able to post to the UK, I would like to help out by handing some cards to the selected potentially interested individuals I meet and introduce to cryptocurrencies.
I'm sure many will relate that mostly we are met with disbelief, scepticism and ridicule. Your cards will add some authenticity to the exchange, and are a great conversation starter. What better way to introduce someone to cryptos than through our CBX itself!

Great Killiz! Please PM your address and we will send you out some cards Smiley

Thanks PM sent

Hi.
Have you ever thought that the constant annual inflation in this coin scares many investors.
Maybe the developers should think about fixing the exact number of coins in the Crypto Bullion.
For example, each owner will continue to receive a small percentage of income through POS by commission when sending the transaction.
And by the way, this problem https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=951753.msg11692604#msg11692604 is still not solved..

Zero inflation is never good in any situation; in an economy as well as in a money supply. We will both agree that high inflation is also very bad!

That being said, I think this coin's 2% interest paid to investors by PoS is quite reasonable and healthy by any standards.

I think that with this conclusion, not all agree.
Take a simple thing is antique jewel released in small editions in the past.
Why increasing its price in time?  The answer is obvious - people know that this is a rare and  precious object..
Many would like to receive this object in the own  collection, but the number of these things greatly limited.
Now take the option with a crypto currency. The more coins into the system, the lower the price.
But most importantly, that any inflation will only scare away fans to invest in such a system.
It is a well known fact, you only need to look at this site http://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/views/filter-non-mineable/ to see this  Cool

Then how do you secure a network with no reward for doing so?
At 2% it would take around 36 years to merely double the supply to 2M.
Everyone using CBX at this moment would probably have passed away before the 4M mark.
2% keeps CBX rare whilst giving the incentive to stake, secure the network and keep transactions running smoothly.

Bitcoin is currently inflating at over 9% annually and I see no lack of interest there.
236  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin way back to 700's by this november ? { 280 $ to go } on: November 03, 2015, 07:04:16 PM
It's a speculative feeding frenzy/correction (depends on how you view BTC) Grin, like I've seen since bitcoins first $30 high bubble. However, if we break $500 you can kiss goodbye to buying at $500 again. (unless someone works out how to switch the world wide web....off) Tongue

Guys,
I am seeing some chatter in other threads regarding possible issues with Cryptsy. Most likely this is just FUD. Cryptsy has been around for quite some time and has been a great ally for CBX.

That being said however, I just want to remind the community that the safest place for your CBX is in your personal Vault. Exchanges are meant for trading not storage so please be cautious with trusting any third party with your finances. Better safe than sorry.
Nothing wrong with cryptsy, it's all fake, 2nd incarnation of the Merkle article. It's so obvious they try to hurt Cryptsy, they probably have invested in Paycoin thinking they were gonna win it big, until they lost and try to put blame on the exchange. The only thing responsible for such losses is their greed and dollarsigns in eyes.

Actually I just preordered the Mastercard from Cryptsy, will be great not needing to sell through another site which takes higher fee's.

Still..better in your own wallet, than somebody else's!

Looks like someone has spammed the CBX Forum. Don't click on any links on there guys!

Edit: Some topics are asking for login details as they are restricted, be careful!

Cleaned up the junk and banned some ip's. Thank you for the heads-up!

On the ball, as always  Wink

Woah, someone dumped bigtime on Cryptsy.... Right into the waiting pockets of yours truly ^_^ thanks anonymous dumper!

Yes, I got some bargain-priced CBX too; let's be thankful to this seller(s), he(they) is making us wealthier a bit more everyday!

Picked up a few myself at 66, huge sell off at 88, looks like the dumpster wants out quickly. Gone are the day's when I had 12 BTC to throw around or I would have those in a flash.
