221  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Gold to hardfork after Bitmain releases its new ASIC on: May 05, 2018, 05:54:28 AM
In the future more and more coins are going to experience a hardfork and a split because of misunderstanding and because of different opinions and ideas. First bitcoin experienced hard fork and many forks, and now we have bitcoin gold having a hard fork. Probably in the future Bitmain will be having its own cryptocurrency and will have a monopoly in the cryptocurrency ecosystem.
222  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Banknotes on: May 05, 2018, 05:49:46 AM
As the popularity and value of Bitcoin increases so do its adoption. Recently, about 4,000 new ATMs were introduced in Argentina. A drastic transformation in this sphere is being brought by Tangem that is trying to make the cash like transaction through cryptocurrencies a possibility for the users.

Tagem, a new smart banknote platform is launching the bitcoin banknotes in Singapore, which is known for its blockchain and crypto favorable regulatory measures. The notes will be on sale at the Megafash Suntec City store. The aim is to mass produce the physical notes of bitcoin in millions by the end of 2018.

The creation of bitcoin banknotes is with the futuristic view that bitcoin could hit a million dollars in the coming years. At the same time its goal is to increase the bitcoin users all across the country even to areas without electricity, computer access and internet connection. This will be one of the reason why bitcoin will be increasing tremendously in value in the coming years but as long as its production is monitored and transparent then everything will go smooth.
223  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Uzbekistan legalizes Cryptocurrency! on: May 05, 2018, 05:46:11 AM
More and more positive news concerning legalizing Crypto come from various part of the world.
This one is from Central Asia: Uzbekistan Legalizes Cryptocurrency
It is the second Post-Soviet country that made such a step, the first one was Belarus.

Wow this really amazing. First we have Philippines, Germany and now we have Uzbekistan these 3 countries are a blessing to the cryptocurrency community this 2018. Aside from that South Korea is also tremendously increasing in number of users that are into cryptocurrency and with Japan as the biggest country for bitcoin, Asia is now becoming the continent with a huge support for bitcoin and other cryptocurrency.
224  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: One country in Asia to develop bitcoin transactions legally on: May 05, 2018, 05:39:00 AM
As part of my advocacy to share good news about bitcoin.

A good push from one country in asia in planning to develop bitcoin

http://news.abs-cbn.com/business/01/29/18/philippines-to-develop-rules-on-cryptocurrency-trading

We bitcoin users surely need this, hoping this will jumpstart many country across the world in acceptance of bitcoin. Let us  repost this so everyone can help bitcoin to gain legalities and legitimacy.

The government of the Philippines have already accepted two bitcoin exchanges in the Philippines and allow it to operate since those two exchanges are in compliance with the KYC and AML regulations as prescribed by the Law. But even though this is the case there are still victims of scams and ponzi schemes all over the country but because of this regulations the culprit have been easily caught by the authority.
225  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is investing in bitcoins today late? on: May 05, 2018, 05:16:06 AM
It is not too late to invest in bitcoin and even if its value is at 20k$ it is still not to late. Bitcoins value is predicted to even reach 1 million dollars on the coming years and 20k$ is still a small amount. With bitcoin right now at 9800$ it is an opportunity for people to buy more bitcoin before it could go back up to 20k$ this december.
226  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: J.P. Morgan Files Patent for Blockchain-Powered Payments on: May 05, 2018, 05:04:07 AM
http://fortune.com/2018/05/04/jpmorgan-blockhain-patent/
Three hours ago Fortune released this story. I think it's super interesting considering the past outspoken views of Jamie Dimon about BTC being a bubble/fraud. What do you guys think?

J.P. Morgans patent is not on bitcoin but rather on the blockchain technology to be used in the banking system. There is no connection between the statement of bitcoin as a bubble and the integration of blockchain system to banks by JP Morgan. As you all know JP Morgan is one of the pushers of the approval of the Federal Reserve he is working hand in hand with the Rothschild and today they are going to  counterattack against cryptocurrency by applying the same technology to the banks.

But since they are going to use the Ethereum platform then its only a matter of time that Ethereum will rise and possibly be the rival of bitcoin in terms of being the king of cryptocurrency.
227  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Your Tactic For The Upcoming Btc Crash on: May 05, 2018, 05:00:27 AM
The bitcoin crash is already over and we are already slowly going up. But during the crash I just kept holding to my bitcoins and during the dip I converted some of my dollars to btc. Then when bitcoin climbed up to 9k$ I already have a good profit but I am not yet selling my bitcoins since I believe that we could still hit 20k$ this December.
228  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Evolution of currencies on: May 05, 2018, 04:51:59 AM
First, humans exchanged commodities. You could eat it, burn it for energy, modify it to create tools or jewelry. You exchanged something useful for something useful.

* It was energy.

Then, humans exchanged commodities for gold. You couldn't eat it or burn but it was still possible to modify it.

* It was poor energy.

Then, humans used papers checks or bank notes. It wasn't very useful, but you still could burn it during a very cold winter.

* It was very poor energy.

Now, we wants to use Cryptocurrencies. You can't do anything with it.

* It is not energy but proof of destruction of energy.

Something looks wrong. We should exchange potential energy, not destroyed energy.

The world is evolving and if we do not go with the flow we will be left behind and suffer in poverty and hunger. Poverty levels are now very high across the world and lands are owned by millionaires and poor citizens live on the slums. Agricultural areas were now converted to agro-industrial lands and that is why barter trade is no longer useful today since not all people does have a land to cultivate. So today if we do not join with cryptocurrency and buy some bitcoins we will be blaming ourselves in the future as to why we does not join in this new currency.
229  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In South Korea, the Crypto Currency Boom Hits Economy system. on: May 05, 2018, 04:48:08 AM
In Korea, ordinary people, with no prior experience in cryptocurrencies, have been lured into the cryptocurrency markets in recent weeks by the soaring prices of Bitcoin and its competitors.

Nowhere has the public frenzy been more feverish than in South Korea. It was on South Korean exchanges that the price of Bitcoin first hit $10,000 last Monday, hours before traders in the United States reached the same level of exuberance.

Even cryptocurrency enthusiasts in South Korea are concerned about the sudden rush into Bitcoin and Ether.

They say investors are often getting in with little grasp of how cryptocurrencies work, like the decentralized network where all the transaction records are kept, or why they may be valuable over the long term.

Korean investors say they know they might lose money, but they are holding out hope.

If there is a panic or rush buying of bitcoins in South Korea then those who bought bitcoins will not going to lose a profit but have entered on a good time and will have a good chance of earning this december. The spark on South Korea will cause a domino effect on the rest of the world so this means that in the coming days we will be expecting another exponential increase in bitcoins value.
230  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin This Week: Good News For The Last Week Of April on: May 04, 2018, 02:33:13 PM
Bitcoin sure had a good week with good news to be noted. For example, Sony filed a patent based on blockchain technology, the St. Louis Federal Reserve Bank says Bitcoin is like Cash, bitcoin prices held and more.
Watch it all here:https://cryptocoin.news/videos/bitcoin-this-week-sony-files-a-blockchain-based-patent-bitcoin-prices-and-more-12004/

It is a good news and there are many more good news coming in to bitcoin. The prices are now going up and that is the sign that those positive news are already having an impact on the bitcoin market. Though slowly but we are going to see sunlight after a long time that the great black clouds have covered bitcoin during the price crash.
231  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Banknotes Debut in Singapore on: May 04, 2018, 02:26:41 PM

A digital asset smart banknote manufacturer has launched bitcoin banknotes at a store in Singapore. Designed to make owning and circulating cryptocurrencies as easy as using paper money, they are currently available in denominations of 0.01 and 0.05 BTC.

What do you think of these bitcoin smart banknotes? Let us know in the comments section below.

Full articles: https://news.bitcoin.com/bitcoin-smart-banknotes/

This is a good way of circulating bitcoin since it will bridge the gap between bitcoin and the areas without internet access. But the problem is that if those producers of those bitcoin smart banknotes are going to print notes more than the number of bitcoin they have in store. If they will implement it then who will be monitoring the number of their produced banknotes. This is a good innovation but we need some monitoring since paper will not pass a blockchain.
232  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Visa won't process Bitcoin & cryptocurrency transactions on: May 04, 2018, 01:10:36 PM
The largest cryptocurrency, bitcoin, is a commodity and not a payment system, according to Visa’s chief executive. Visa will also not give bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies a platform for wire transfers and exchanges. “I don't view it as payment system player,” CEO Alfred Kelly told CNBC.

“We at Visa won't process transactions that are cryptocurrency-based. We will only process fiat currency-based transactions,” he added. Visa is the world's largest credit card company.

Bitcoin was originally created as an alternative de-centralized currency. However, with its 2,000 percent growth last year, it has become a source for speculators to make a quick buck. As bitcoin turnover grows, it faces problems like high fees, astoundingly slow transactions and volatile prices.

What the Visa Company said was true. Actually bitcoin right now is not yet functioning truly as a currency. And it is also true that the majority of bitcoin holders are treating bitcoin as a commodity rather than as a currency. But sooner or later bitcoin will be treated as a currency, and right now we are slowly walking on that path. It maybe will take years but we will reach that goal.
233  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: '' Satoshi Pulse'' a new cryptomarket cap that is launched by Bitcoin.com. on: May 04, 2018, 01:04:03 PM
I do not visit that site since it is very misleading. Roger Ver has made that website with features that will attract potential bitcoin investors to invest on bitcoin only to find out that they invested in bitcoin cash. I do think that even the Satoshi Pulse is very misleading so I guess we should use coinmarketcap and other sites instead of bitcoin.com.
234  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin continue to rise? on: May 04, 2018, 12:52:16 PM
The Bitcoin is reaching $10,000 again.

Personally, I think cryptos will be the future, even some countries already banned them, like China and South Korea.

Recently, an news shaped my eyes again, it said that the investment banking powerhouse Goldman Sachs will start trading Bitcoin futures using its own money.
Bitcoin (BTC.X): will this rally sustain?

Do you think bitcoin will continue to increase?

Bitcoin has already breached 9600$ if bitcoin can break the 9700$ and it can go up to 9800$ then we can expect a bullish move on the coming days. Bitcoin at 9700$ is very critical for bitcoin since many traders are looking up at this point if bitcoin can really break the resistance or wall on that value. But I am positive that bitcoin could reach 12k$ this month.
235  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Plans for 8th Annual Bitcoin Pizza Day? on: May 04, 2018, 12:29:05 PM
Bitcoin Pizza Day is Tuesday May 22! Was it a Dominos pizza or Papa Johns that was purchased?

Anyone planning an event in NYC? I'm looking for any pizza place that accepts direct bitcoin payments.

There are no announcement yet if there will be an organized event during that date. I am also waiting for some activities on that date and I do hope there will be free pizza. Hope there will be some event in our country so that I can participate. Hope there will be an announcement of some kind. Also I suggest that we should ask a major pizza join to sponsor the event. Just kidding but I am awaiting for the event.
236  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why some ICO required KYC? on: May 04, 2018, 12:18:29 PM
Because after ICO Tokens Can be buy anyone without submitting any KYC  Huh Huh
Totally confusing this process  Roll Eyes

The reason why ICO's are requiring KYC is because when they register to launch their coin the Securities and Exchange are requiring them to comply with KYC and AML regulations. Thus they are asking people to comply with the requirements but after the ICO when their coins entered the exchange KYC is no longer needed. But if you buy at their website KYC is still required.
237  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Isn't Roger ver showing all how the industry will behave in the longterm Future? on: May 03, 2018, 01:35:28 PM
This is somehow a conspiracy  theory about Roger Ver and the possibility of him scamming people by creating versions of bitcoin to sell it to people in order to gain more profit. We do not know if this is really true or will come true but this is something that we should also to keep in mind that some developers are already doing this kind of scheme creating coins again and again in order to gain more money.
238  Economy / Speculation / Re: why bitcoin is volatility? on: May 03, 2018, 01:23:55 PM
Why bitcoin is votality compare to fiat money. Many say bitcoin is not a good investment because it is votality.

What is votality?
liability to change rapidly and unpredictably, especially for the worse. this is the fast price change.

Why is the votality of bitcoin high?
Bitcoin is a low supply at the time of its growing number of users and it has become a demand for the masses. Many want to buy, Many want to sell in easy-word multiple transactions. When many bitcoin transactions are fast market movements and we do not know what might happen because of the emotion of the seller and the buyer may have the price increase or decrease. So the bitcoin is votality because of the small supply and in-demand.

Why is fiat money not too volatility?
Because the government is able to regulate a traditional money, they can make new money and just increase its supply so that it does not have a votality compare to bitcoin.

Note: This is my only opinion, if you have any opinion you can also share it.

Bitcoin is subjected to volatility since it is a market based currency. The movement of the market dictates the specific value of bitcoin. The reason why it is good to invest on bitcoin is because of volatility. Without volatility you cannot earn and gain profit. Only in volatility that we can earn from the decrease and increase of bitcoins value.
239  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Claim Bitcoin Gold form old Electrum Seed? on: May 03, 2018, 12:53:49 PM
That is the problems of most bitcoin users who used ledger nano. If bitcoin holders are not well equipped with such knowledge on how to claim such forked coins just like me then I have a solution to that problem. If in case there is a coming fork do some research and find some exchanges like yobit that entertains and gives you forked coins as long as you have btc in your account. So instead of making it hard to get those forked coins you just need to deposit your btc in an exchange to receive your forked coins two weeks before the fork begins.
240  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and Capital controls and Economics globalization on: May 03, 2018, 12:48:32 PM
Capital control is somehow necessary for a country especially third world countries. If a 3rd world countries would allow their capital to go out of their borders then they will have a hard time catching with the first world countries.  Borderless economy is only applicable to a one world government but this cannot be applied to a multitude of countries.
