2201  Economy / Economics / Re: Elon Musk - Hinted that it would be nice if Twitter Ads be paid in Bitcoin on: April 14, 2022, 04:33:53 PM
It was on my mind too why Twitter doesn't accept Bitcoin where Jack Dorsey supports Bitcoin massively. Twitter is a popular social platform at the moment and if it accepts Bitcoin then of course it will be a big adaption for Bitcoin. I don't know how it will affect the Bitcoin price but it's a really bull sign. We may see a massive spike in the price, but Since it's crypto we can't predict something exactly. But hope it will happen today or tomorrow.
2202  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How I saved myself from cryptocurrency disappointment on: April 13, 2022, 07:30:22 PM
I am not sure if OP collects content from somewhere else. But most of the advice is useful for crypto beginners. Because old users are already familiar with this kind of problem. The part of the thread I liked doesn't expect to become rich overnight from the crypto. Otherwise, you will have to cry later. I have seen a couple of things and I learned a costly lesson as well. Need to invest what you can afford a loss, then you don't have to cry. This is the very basic logic in crypto.
2203  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Basket - List Your Blockchain Project on: April 13, 2022, 07:21:09 PM
I second that said by Xal0lex. The website isn't user-friendly and I don't feel there are many visitors right now. If the site exists like this then it will be hard to attract visitors. And you should make an announcement thread on the service announcement (altcoin) section rather than the altcoin section. Should be more professional though. I am wondering what is your aim and what is more special on your site than existing highly designed listing sites?
2204  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: buy my home with bitcoin on: April 13, 2022, 07:01:07 PM
It's good you want to sell your house in exchange for Bitcoin, but how do you believe you will find someone from the forum even not mentioning full details? I don't think you will find someone from here. If Bitcoin is legal in your country then you may advertise, otherwise hard to find. You may try it on your Local board though, but not sure how will it be effective. If you are in hurry then might be procced with fiat, otherwise, look for a different way. This isn't the right approach at all IMO.
2205  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can anyone recommend me a safe place to store my bitcoins? on: April 13, 2022, 06:54:39 PM
Seems you got many suggestions here regarding the safest wallet. So you may pick from there now. I am using Ledger at the moment and sometimes use Electrum for small funds. But really I feel secure with Ledger. More important to secure your funds is how are securing your seed phrase. If you can't save your seed phrase and get compromised then even Ledger won't able to secure your funds. To learn more about cryptocurrency and how scammers trying to scam us.
2206  Economy / Reputation / Re: Nutildah? on: April 12, 2022, 05:39:45 PM
I thought I was missing something but seems everything was fine.

I speak to him privately in an old boys club, privately, away from this forum. He’s fine, doing well to be honest. He’s happy in what he’s doing at the moment so don’t worry about him.
Glad to hear he is fine. Wishing better life for all forum mates, it doesn't matter if they are inactive here. That's enough if they are happy in real life. Hope someday he will back to the forum and contribute like before. I realized now why no post from him. Thanks for the updates.

For now, we shall go with what he said here;

If I am banned for that, it confirms I shouldn't be wasting a single nother second of my time here anyway.
I think this is the fact, he is disappointed from the forum.
2207  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: This exchange/trading platform seems like a scam, thoughts? on: April 12, 2022, 05:22:45 PM
Don't fall into the beautiful girl trap. We have seen many histories that how they are scamming people. Either they are scammers or hackers. Doesn't matter how they are looks legit, just don't install any unknown apps to your device. They would take control of your device and move your funds. Better visit adult sites from the device you aren't using for cryptocurrency. So it would be hard to scam you easily, just make sure you aren't sharing your credentials anyway.
2208  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Most effective to move coins or have impact on price on: April 12, 2022, 04:56:18 PM
Most of the altcoin price depends on the team activities. It's quite important 360 degrees marketing keep pumping a token price. Also creating new events and partnerships keep a role to increase the token price. On the other hand, sometimes teams or whales manipulate the price to take out money from the market, it's called market wash actually. An overall crypto market is also a major issue during pumping a token price. The market should be positive otherwise it's very hard to keep pumping. But keep in mind, a token price won't just pump continuously, it's because investors will secure their funds and sell the token. Its effect to dumping price again.
2209  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Using a Stop loss "Good" or "Bad" on: April 12, 2022, 04:34:41 PM
Usually, we use stop-loss to secure our investment, not to make a profit. It's not bad at all, sometimes save your money though you can't profit. For me once I use stop-loss most of the time hit that and price pump again. This means I can't profit but I avoid the risk of losing a lot. So it really depends on you how are you going to use a stop loss. If you can take risks then you may avoid them, otherwise the better option is to use stop loss to secure your investment.
2210  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bear market every team will pump their own coin on: April 11, 2022, 06:39:46 PM
A few altcoins always do not follow the Bitcoin trend. So it's normal behavior that a few altcoins always will pump even during dump season. Sometimes projects manipulate the price or there would be upcoming events as well that pump the price. But always we can't make money from there because we don't know which coin will be the pump. I just follow some coins and take advantage during bear season.
2211  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best desktop wallet on: April 10, 2022, 06:25:02 PM
Seems OP already got a couple of best suggestions for the multi-chain wallet. And of course, Metamask would be the right choice. But still, I will prefer for good practice to buy a hardware wallet if you may afford it. Because it's quite important to secure your digital assets. Otherwise digital scammers and hackers. A hardware wallet is the most secure wallet for storing your cryptocurrency.

2213  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What do you know about Guarda wallet on: April 09, 2022, 06:40:31 PM
Second that is written by OmegaStarScream. If you are wondering to use a wallet for Bitcoin then Electrum would be ideal. If you are wondering to use a multi-coin wallet then the better option is a hardware wallet. Because TrustWallet or Safpal wallet isn't open source ad far as I know. So I won't vouch for them. I am using Ledger, so I would like to vouch for that or any other hardware wallet. I am not familiar with Guarda wallet anyway.
2214  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: FAKE Coin Market CAP ICO coinmarketcoin.io on: April 09, 2022, 06:31:26 PM
Lol, it's more than a scam. Coinmarketcap was acquired by Binance and they already have their native blockchain including coins. So it's totally unrealistic that they will Launch ICO anyway. Just faking everything. Those who have even common sense shouldn't fall into this trap except extremely stupid. I will say scammer is a stupid as good pic the wrong concept lol. However, forum users should ignore that, especially those who are newbies here.
2215  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [WARNING] Darth Protocol plagiarized Whitepaper on: April 09, 2022, 06:23:54 PM
Seems their bounty has been managed by Murat, had you DM'ed him about that plagiarism? It would possible that he is unaware of plagiarism. It's normal everyone isn't an expert on that. I won't jump to tag him for that bounty management. Just ask him to lock the bounty thread and update here about the situation. We bounty hunters won't be scammed anyway.

Thanks for sharing it with us. Keep it up, buddy!
2216  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin's price stabilize someday? on: April 09, 2022, 06:13:02 PM
If Bitcoin becomes stable then likely it will be useless, because no new investors will be interested in it. Bitcoin much popular because of its volatility. So stability isn't expected here. Gold is a kind of asset hence it's stable. But Bitcoin is currency and not useless. Remember, we can survive without gold, but can't survive without currency. Volatility depends on buy pressure, gold doesn't have such as buy pressure that we encounter on Bitcoin. So no, Bitcoin won't be stabilized someday, at least I do not believe that.

2218  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Has Performed Even More Than Satoshi Expected on: April 08, 2022, 07:07:36 PM
Most people hadn't bought Bitcoin for the almost same reason. But money wasn't a fact for me, the fact was I wasn't familiar with Bitcoin. I can't recall exactly the year when Bitcoin was introduced to me, but I have seen the price was $700. Never thought Bitcoin will be in its current position ever. Now it's costly for us and the next generation will feel the same.

I would agree on Bitcoin reached more than the expectation of Satoshi Nakamoto. He created Bitcoin for another reason but we are playing with it.
2219  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: The reason people join bitcointalk forum on: April 08, 2022, 06:50:25 PM
To be honest more than 90% of newbies joining to the forum for earning bounty stakes. Rest people joining learning purposes to gain knowledge. No matter most of them involve with earning later once they realize they could earn from here. But intention should learn purpose. Always couldn't earn from here anyway. But if we can learn from here, we would apply our skills in some other places. So may the door would open for us, but the conditions are experienced.

However, I am not blaming anyone, because nothing wrong with doing bounty or signature unless they spam on the forum. I have seen a couple of users leave bounty and start contributing to the forum when they realized the value of the forum. So day by day everyone would learn and behave themselves.
2220  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is it really possible to earn money through the service section ? ANSWERED on: April 08, 2022, 01:35:03 PM
Listen, if you have the skill it doesn't matter where you are. You can sell your skill. A lot of people earn from the service section. The question is what is your service and how are you trusted. If none of the forum members don't like to buy your service there are a lot of places where you may sell it. Look for a marketplace like Fiverr or Upwork. Someone definitely will buy your service. Most demand on the forum is crypto-related skills and design-related works. And of course, you need to be trusted somehow.
