2201  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICOs close to Hard Cap on: January 20, 2018, 02:57:02 PM
How would you know if the cap is really "filled"? What if some team keeps making transactions to themselves pumping their ico?
You can watch the contract address to detect movements. Unless they already have large sums of Ether (or whatever) they won't really be able to do that without getting noticed.
2202  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: STRAT IS A SLEEPING GIANT ! on: January 20, 2018, 02:48:06 PM
I bought this coin in the summer and recently sold it. But now I understand that I made a mistake. It was necessary to leave part of the coins for long-term storage.
That's always advisable, as long as you've done proper fundamental analysis beforehand and know there's going to be a future.
2203  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: WAVES | Ultimate crypto-tokens blockchain platform | WEEKLY AIRDROPS !!! on: January 20, 2018, 02:46:23 PM
You will for sure. They aren't very high right now, but that's bound to change once the smart contracts come out and ICOs start being run over the platform as well as with larger adoption of the DEX.

I hope the team will develop this smart contract platform from scratch current one is full of bugs and anyone can abuse just paying small fee and without any knowledge. Let's see how the will provide the solution because early investors have so high expectation from this team.
You still have to pay trading fees in Waves. It would be great if other transfers would only be possible with tokens that have a given size already to make sure that fees are never too low to put people off from leasing. It's pretty much a balancing act that they'll have to solve in one way or another, both too high and too low fees aren't going to be healthy.
2204  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ripple Vs NEO on: January 20, 2018, 02:42:36 PM
They won't compete because they're different things. Ripple is a currency type coin, while NEO is more of an ICO/token platform like Ethereum.

I think Ripple stated that they see ETH as main competitor, and announced entering smart contracts segment

https://www.quora.com/What-are-smart-contracts-and-how-does-Ripple-use-them/answer/Stefan-Thomas-1?srid=5Ojt6
Interesting. Hopefully it will fail to absorb a significant market share.
We also hopefully  hope btc should fail.
This is how all of u sound to others with your maximalist bullshit
Nothing maximalist here. Might also want to go back and spend more time studying English. Never said that XRP should fail completely, although I wouldn't care if that happened.
2205  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what is your plan? on: January 20, 2018, 02:41:14 PM
My plan is to hold DeepOnion.DeepOnion is very promising mate, I can tell you this, DeepOnion will be next Dash or XMR, no doubt. the team is so great. Kiss
Great at running a ponzi like BCC.
2206  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Ripple Going To Reach 10,000$ By 2020? on: January 20, 2018, 02:40:54 PM
This topic shows exactly whats wrong with crypto these days.
Either you know nothing about investing and crypto (so you shouldn't be investing), or you are simple delusional if you think this is possible.
If he knows nothing about finance (which he obviously doesn't) and still acts as if he did he's delusional, period.
2207  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Money can buy happiness? on: January 20, 2018, 02:37:19 PM
50%  ur happiness can be bought by the money, and Rest 50% depend upon ur society where u live.
I'd say 99% depends on yourself.
2208  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: NEO at $40 within 8th October ███ FEW HOURS LEFT ███ on: January 20, 2018, 02:30:04 PM
Nearly 3 months the price of NEO has reached 5 times. Am I the only one who thinks that NEO's price will soon reach $ 1,000? It will be very good soon!

We are also waiting good price rally for NEO. Actually it wasn't 3 months, I bought some more NEO last month from 30 USD mark. This thread is a good example of holding good altcoins for long term, they pay you well in the end.
Good luck finding out which altcoins are good for the long term though. Wink
2209  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this a 100X opportunity? on: January 20, 2018, 02:29:11 PM
Honestly, a coin istelf claiming this x100 benefit in the near future looks like a big reason to not to invest into, 100% red flag and I would not recommend anyone to invest in this project, there are other "shitcoins" with an actual project and a low market cap that can boom to x100, although this is usually very difficult to achieve, you can try and invest in some of them and wait for them to grow.

I regard your statement as Libel
Fluidledger does not claim to be a 100x investment!
Do not underestimate anything in life!
Tread carefully!

It's still a shitcoin, that doesn't even have a proper website, nevermind anything of substance.
2210  Other / Off-topic / Re: Best life lesson you learned on: January 20, 2018, 02:27:18 PM
Never trust girls. Damn that was a good lesson for me. Two times I didn't understand this lesson. Third time let me know that i was just dumb.
Why would you generalize from 2-3 bad cases?
2211  Economy / Economics / Re: BTC up on gov shutdown news? on: January 20, 2018, 02:09:24 PM
Coincidence. Government shutdown in the US is nothing new and a somewhat frequent event. It should have absolutely no bearing on cryptos.
2212  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICOs close to Hard Cap on: January 20, 2018, 02:02:59 PM
Hello All Friends,

Now a days a its very hard to find a Good ICO. However ICOs reaching Hard Cap have something in them that Investors are making them successful in raising funds. But its hard to find those. so I request you all Update in this Thread if you find any ICO that near reaching Hard Cap.

I have seen great ICO reach their market cap. I just witnessed Sureremit and Lalatokens reach their marketcap and Storiqa is following suite.

thanks friend,

lets keep sharing those which are half or near hard cap.
Why are you interested in coins that are close to their hard cap? The rates are generally much higher at that point.

Blocklancer for example is currently sitting at 20% of its cap, which means the current rates are still low, thus having a greater potential ROI.
2213  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: GREAT CRYPTO DEPRESSION on: January 20, 2018, 01:57:47 PM

2214  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Redeeming BCC tokens from an unsynced wallet on: January 20, 2018, 01:54:36 PM
You'll have to sync the wallet if there's no lite wallet.
2215  Other / Off-topic / Re: What advice would you give to your 18-year-old self? on: January 20, 2018, 01:53:25 PM
I would give advice to develop in software engineering. (Also buying Bitcoin of course Smiley )
Your orientation is very good, learn about the software industry that is currently very hot in the world. As you see today and in the future people will be more developed in the software field. Yes. Of course, do not forget to invest in bitcoin to make initial capital. Age 18 but you have a great idea.
In the future software will be written by AI. There are already rudimentary first steps in that direction.

2219  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: January 20, 2018, 01:28:35 PM
That completely slipped my attention. You can't make this kind of stuff up Cheesy
2220  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH or Waves? on: January 20, 2018, 01:24:16 PM
some ico use waves platform but i think this year also Ethereum year. we look next year for choosing one of them
ICOs will likely start using the Waves platform more frequently once the smart contracts roll out and a the first big gainers appear. There'll probably be more going on around Waves than Ethereum simple due to their respective stage of development.
