You are aware, that over paying for them here, doesn't make them worth more, just makes you a tool...
I am not a tool. You are. Guys, after trading with me please post vouches! Uhuh... .0007

The forums are getting really quiet, as Yac value drops...lol

.0007...Man, this is like a countdown to oblivion
|
|

.0008 now...Better sell em, before they become worthless. And, in the future, may wanna get advice, BEFORE you make the trade

A) GPUs are more energy than CPUs. B) YAC is extremely vulnerable to an 51% attack by someone who writes a gpu kernel and has a decent rig
Actually, for the ammount of hashing power in a single 7970, you would need multiple CPU's to match it, ergo, you need more power to run the equivilent number of cpu's, then a single GPU I meant energy efficient There is a reason research centers like switching to GPUs. It is cheaper per petaflop Oh ok, lol. I just assumed that was broken english lol

From what I've noticed, and I could be wrong, but Stratum has made merged mining obsolete, because most of the merged minable coins, are still getwork...I noticed that with NMC on Slush's pool, anyways

I sold 5K ripples for 375 YAC to Aahzman. Is this a good deal or not? How much are yacs worth
Right now, 0.00092 BTC...

Do you guys have any idea, how much electricity it takes, to run enough servers at %100 load, to make it worth while to mine these coins? Just saying, not very green...Not to mention, there's gonna be a lot of unhappy parents, when they get the power bill this month lol
Do you have any idea how bitcoin started out? Yes, in a savage, dark age, of Pentium 4's, and 32 MB GPU's....Do you want us to go back to those times? Shall we live in caves, and club our women too??

|

yup, it's bitbar 2.0, as such hopefully with less zealots spamming about how revolutionary smaller numbers are
Could be worse. Could be that stupid 1 coin...lol

Closed? Hey, did we just kill a website?

My cluster is getting about 30 MH/s without a single GPU. So no. Probably no GPU miner yet. Death to SCam COin You know, there are a lot of people with huge GPU farms and nobody bats an eye. Then someone changes the algorithm so CPUs get the upper hand and everybody gets upset... CPU's were deemed inefficient for mining for a reason. This is a giant step backwards....And people have always been able to use their CPU's for mining, but they don't, for obvious reasons

The more aggressive the smear campaign, the more more confident I become in the coin. I guess you've missed it's current trading value on Bter then....

Ah, .25 block size, I see now.

Once someone creates an adaptation for a GPU-miner to work with the N-factor of Yacoin, then we won't use CPUs anymore, so it will become as green as Litecoin. There's already talks about a Litecoin FPGA, and since Yacoin is scrypt then it could work on those FPGAs, technically. And it could be made into an ASIC too. It's as ecofriendly as any other coin, it just is a CPU coin for now. I think it's a great launch.
Thus defeating the whole premise and appeal of the coin, and making it more worthless?? People are horny for Yac right now, because it can only be mined by CPU.

do you have any idea, how much money can people make and their kids dont have to starve or rob a old lady?
English?

another smear campaign coming up.... he talks about CPU wattage why note discuss GPU wattage in GPU farms for other coins lolz
As a rough estimate, about 250 watts, per 600KH/s....So, how many CPU's to hit 600KH/s??? And this is just a joke thread, by the way. Relax guy
