2221  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: EVERYBET.IO , is a BIG SCAM !! on: January 02, 2019, 01:44:11 PM
You may contact the Campaign Manager for Everybet.io as for I think that he has  Direct connection between the staffs of the mentioned Gambling Site.
I guess their campaign will be greatly affected by this incident. If the owner of that gambling site are proven guilty then for sure their campiagn will become pointless even how hard they advertise thus I will not be surprise if they will end it earlier than what they've plan from the start.
2222  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Pwede ba gumawa at gumamit ng multiple Account in same IP Address ? on: January 02, 2019, 01:03:35 PM
3.) mababan ba both accounts ko if ever i did that?
Seems that you are planning to make a new account huh. Well, decision mo naman yan so I respect it. Members.

Other disadvantage of having an alt account is that you are prone from bashing once malaman ng iba.
4.) What if lang po " nag bigay ako ng merit sa other account ko , is that even possible or is it a violation ?
Somehow, okay lang naman na bigyan mo ang isa mo pang account ng merit only if substantial ang post na binigyan mo. But I warn you, wag mo gawing habit yun kasi pag napansin ng ibang members kung bakit yung "Account A" is always accepting from "Account B" syempre magsususpetya yun at maari kang akusahan ng merit farming (kayang itrace yun using bpip.org). As a result, magkakaroon ng red tag yang accounts ko or mababan.

<snip>

Wala namang bayad supposedly.
As far as I know, every smartphone ay may unique IP address so ibig sabihin iba-iba ang IP address ng bawat isa sa atin. How's it even possible?

Sa palagay ko, naglagay si theymos ng ganyan para magkaroon pa ng other means of revenue itong forum. Well, it's just my opinion, I'm still not sure about that Cheesy.
2223  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Cash is king on: January 02, 2019, 12:12:25 PM
The problem with storing cash is that the government is prone to changing the design of the notes, and declaring the old ones as no longer legal tender.
IMO, I don't see any problem with this one because a national bank will not suddenly declare their countrymen that the old money they have is now valueless. The removal of the old bank notes in the circulation will definitely takes time, they ought to give their countrymen an allotted time to use their old notes for it to exit the circulation and newer notes can finally enter. And I think national bank of a country also allows the people to go directly to them and exchange their old notes for the newer ones (especially when the deadline is near).

So there is no chance for an individual to lose the worth of his money because there's lot of time before the implementation happens and besides it will surely have a public advsiory so it's impossible for him to be unware of, unless he really intended to store his money just to have a memorabilia.
2224  Other / Meta / Re: Is this forum boring? on: January 02, 2019, 10:19:13 AM
Reply with a Yes or a No
It's a big NO for me, this is the place where I learned almost half of my crypto knowledge so I don't have any reason to feel board in this forum — seeking for never ending knowledge is fun Cheesy.
I'm saying yes, it needs more images, more awards, more legit activities
Ahh I see, so you want a lively and more colorful type of forum. I suggest you to try Reddit, there are lots of discussions happening out there (not only about crypto) and can see lots of images even having explicit contents Grin.
2225  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambler was being robbed on: January 02, 2019, 09:30:42 AM
Do you ever think its a real accident or its just an inside job where the employees of casinos are involve or the casino itself?
For me this is an isolated case, so I think it was just an accident. If the owner of the casino is the mastermind behind then for sure he will lose even bigger if he was proven guilty. He will be sued and lead him to imprisonment plus his customers will be gone because of the bad reputation. Imagine the possible consequences, even me would not attempt to do that just for few millions in which I can earn in the first place. That's too risky.
Now I’m wondering if its still safe to go to casinos or better to play online? What’s your thought about this?
For me it has the same risks. Anyway, we all knew that casino players are very rich, then why they are not hiring bodyguards? It is very essential for them since they always have big money in their hands. (Or it's just like that robbers are overpowered every time this kind of incident happens).
2226  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Triggers Gambling Addiction on: January 02, 2019, 07:13:40 AM
So, my conclusion is that winning is not just the cause, people needs to socialise, people get into gambling because they don't have anything else to entertain them.
Yup! That can be considered one of the factors why others lead to gambling addiction. The same scenario can be applied to computer addiction to, youth nowadays are getting more exposed to the advanced technology (PS4, Xbox, NintendoSwitch etc) and they are now more willing to engage in digiral world instead of socializing with their fellow children. On the other side, some gamblers became obsessed to gambling because they're body always look for the hype, thrill and excitement that they cannot found in other forms of entertainment, just only in casinos or online betting sites in some cases.

That's the sad reality for the people who have whatever form of addiction — they're hooked in up to the point that even themselves can't now find the way going back.
2227  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Benefits from Gambling on: January 01, 2019, 11:00:28 AM
That's true, everyone deserves to do what they want to do including gambling.
Yup! That's okay. We have our own free will and the way on how we will use it is in our hands. For me there's nothing wrong with gambling as long as you set your own limitations (when to start and when to stop) and know the right and wrong.
There are people who despite losing their money are still enjoying gambling, in that case, I see a benefit.
The only benefit I see there is enjoyment, notbing else. Do you think it would be enough for you to compensate all of the losses you've made? Maybe a yes, maybe a no; but but if it's not then better for you to stop because you can't already afford to lose further. Besides, if you just really wanna have fun then there are other ways to feel it without spending to much. Be practical Smiley.
2228  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Tama ba ko o Mali pagusapan natin Ito. on: January 01, 2019, 10:15:16 AM
At ang isa kanilang benipisyo ay ito "If you keep your ZEREX Tokens in the exchange wallet, you will be paid 2% Weekly".
Isa na namang "to good to be true" na offer. Nakakapanghinala at nakakatawang isipin at the same time Grin.
2229  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where are you playing Poker? on: January 01, 2019, 06:58:22 AM
I might try swc just because they also have an android client, I'll let you know if like them more than PS
That was cool! I thought all of those gambling sites you and other members suggesting here can only be played in pc. Now I know Cheesy. Well, I guess I don't need to but a laptop anymore in order to try online betting. I guess I will just search for android apps which offers online gambling. Thanks.
2230  Other / Serious discussion / Re: It's just a game! on: January 01, 2019, 06:28:39 AM
<snip>
I understand what you are feeling right now, actually even me think that it was very insane to spend lots of money just for a game. We all might realize that it's very impractical for investing so much in virtual stuffs which gives you nothing but fun. However, we don't have the right to judge those kind of people and even force them to do what we think is right simply because that's their own life. We don't have the power to control their lives because we are absolutely unauthorized. If they choose to spend their money for games, vices or other luxuries instead of helping others then so be it; if they choose to become self-centered instead of becoming tender-hearted individuals to their fellow man then we can't do anything about it. Yup! We can advice them to change their personality but in the end of the day it still depends on them.

Life is unfair, it was sad but true Sad.
2231  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Pilipinas on: January 01, 2019, 05:33:24 AM
Na nag auto translate or something?

Actually last week pa nabago yung pangalan ng local board natin, here's another thread about this: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5090894.0. Smiley
2232  Other / Meta / Re: What makes a post a HQ post. What makes a post a LQ post. ? merit - lets see?? on: January 01, 2019, 04:02:21 AM
Aside from what OP said, I think sarcastic post also works. These kind of posts are short but sweet and yet they gain merits. Like one of my post. Honestly, I never expected to get merit from that one but it happened Grin.
I think we should also try to define a medium quality post and determine whether it's merit worthy or not.
In my own description, a medium quality post or sometimes I call a mediocre post are posts that are informative somehow but not as complex as high quality posts like bitcoin technical discussions. Example of those posts are opinions, friendly advises and by answering simple questions (particularly coming from newbies).

No doubt that these posts also deserve some merit because they are a little bit helpful too but since they belong in the mediocrity, others find it common and nothing special. That is why other members don't appreciate it and leading them to refuse giving some merit.
2233  Local / Pilipinas / Re: IGNORANCE OF THE LAW EXCUSES NO ONE on: December 31, 2018, 05:03:43 PM
Like for example, before investing your money into something, we need to know the person and the company behind that investment, we must search and if we feel like we are not sure we must withdraw.
Yung moment lang na makakita ng "to good to be true" na set up eh kakagatin agad. Well, 'di ko naman sila masisisi kasi nga ideal yung conditions so mahirap talaga palampasin (lalago pera mo in just a week, 4x ang tutubuin etc etc.), ang lapses lang talaga ng isang investor ay yung masyado nahahype at yung focus ay nakatuon na lang sa reward which is money (in short, nasilaw na agad ng pera). Nakalimutan nang magduda, nalimutan nang i consider ang mga possible risks and disadvantages at nalimutan na magdouble think. So as a result, ayun na-victimized.
2234  Economy / Economics / Re: How to wake up a bear? on: December 31, 2018, 03:27:02 PM
The one who can wake up the bear is the bull of course. And in order to unleash the bull, we need more believers and less FUDs. I'm sure the bull can easily kicked the bear out if that's what gonna happen.
in your opinion how to take advantage of such a serious decline in order to win at least something?
Be a day trader. Day traders have the ability to handle this kind of situations because they can adapt. They can nake profits by playing with the fluctuations.

But if you can't then that's okay. You can do something even as a small hodler. Just remain hodling and do not panic sell, it defibitely helps a lot in the community.
Have you bought any coins in the hope of growth in the new year?
Yup! Actually I bought some eth a while ago because I do believe that it will pump hard this 2019 (I'm expecting a lot for the upcoming eth's upgrade). I just really hope so Cheesy.
2235  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: With which coin would you like to wager in a casino? on: December 31, 2018, 11:50:03 AM
If I will play in a casino, my first pick would be btc because that's I hav3 the most but since all you saying that it is not convenient to use due to slow transaction and high fees then probably I will use eth or convert some btc to eth.

Anyway, I noticed that there is CLAM among the choices. Is it really acceptable in some casinos. I just can't believe because I thought it was a shitcoin. I got some of it last year but the problem is I already forgot where I placed it Grin
2236  Other / Meta / Re: Good Bye 2018, What is your wish from BTT Forum for This Year? on: December 31, 2018, 11:02:45 AM
I wish a lot of thing this year from Santa Smiley But we may also wish something from BTT moderators&admins.
Honestly, I don't have any wishes for them becuase I'm sure that all of your wishes are already enough (probably still too much Grin). I just want to say thank you for all of them for doing their best to maintain the forum clean and well-organized.
they gave 10 merit as an end-of-the-year gift or something?

I received 11 merits this year which is not bad at all. At least I have proof to show that I'm not a shitposter, that's what all matters. I hope I'll get more in the future.

For the crypto world, I wish bull runs will finally happen in 2019. Lord Satoshi, have mery on us! Grin
2237  Economy / Reputation / Re: 1 person 100 accounts on: December 31, 2018, 10:31:21 AM
I don't know how he have 100s of accounts, even you didn't provide link to any accounts

Dude I guess it was only a hyperbole. He only used the term "100" to describe him for having numerous accounts. That's only my own opinion, who knows if he really own hundreds of account? Huh
Maybe you need to check the transaction details to prove other accounts or it won't get tagged.
You have a point, much stronger evidence is needed to prove him guilty. But actually, the presented evidence by OP was already an effective one because logically thinking, the email on his posts definitely belongs to him thus having a big chance that he also used it for scamming people.
2238  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Did you lose your confidence as an investor? on: December 31, 2018, 06:11:10 AM
For those who have been in the game long enough to understand that the market works in cycle, I think this is just another test and I'm sure that majority of them hodl and then do short trading. However, for those who have bought at the tail end of the bullish trend, I'm sure their hopes and confidence are shattered
You're right! Even though I still considered myself new in crypto world, at least I can now understand the nature of crypto - how it works and how it behaves. I'm not scared anymore every time btc drops knowing the fact that I've already experienced worse before (during China's ban to ICO). Actually, price falldowns now excites me a lot unlike before and very different from the newbies/weak holders out there who knew nothing but to listen to FUDs and panic sell Grin.
We need to look forward next year that the market will bring some sort of changes, might not be a new all-time-high, but at least higher or even top 5 digits again.
I hope your predictions will do come true Cheesy. Actually, I'm now starting to invest in eth because I feel that it will skyrocket in 2019 (I hope so). But to be safe, I will continue not not expecting for a huge pump. Less expectations, less pain
2239  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Makaka ahon pa ba ang market? on: December 31, 2018, 04:25:53 AM
I feel sorry for you dude. Buti na lang tumigil na akong magexpect na tataas pa si btc pagpatak pa lang ng first week of September. Naanticipate ko na agad by that time na mahihirapan nang magkabull run kasi mas often na ang downfalls nung mga panahong yun, ibang iba nung nakaraang December. At ayun nga ang nangyari, tama yung kutob ko from the very beginning kaya heto ako ngayon less sorrow ang nadarama (medyo naka move on na) .
May I know what token you are hodling right now? Because it might be a shitcoin.
2240  Economy / Gambling / Re: Poker studying (Hand reviews) on: December 31, 2018, 02:37:15 AM
If its free, then why not? This would helpful for those who had a hard time but if this do ask out some charge then its a pass.

Completely free of charge mate!
As you say so. Now, I just want to ask what is the difference between the poker in casinos and online poker. Are the rules the same? Can you chat with your opponents or not? What is usually the minimum bet allowed in btc? Is it harder to play online since you can't read the body language of your opponemt or it's all the same?

I'm sorry if I had so many questions, I'm an aspiring gambler. I just bumped into your thread so I grab the opportunity to ask and get some advice coming from experienced people while it still free Grin.
