So how will the launch work?
Can I keep running the miners and they switch from testnet automatically?
Or do I need to recompile them?

You can keep them running as long as you're hashing to https://zec.suprnova.cc - i'll just wipe everything and switch to mainnet when it launches.

and the coin i have been mining it's gone?

yes, they're only testnet coins

supper hash

So how in the hell do these people get so high hash rates?
Is there a GPU miner out already or am I missing something?
I have 5 miners and I get 1kH/s.

They don't. The hashrates are displayed wrong on Suprnova's frontend. The whole network hashrate is 329 kH/s right now, which includes all pools and solo miners.

It's just shifted by one decimal..  100 = 10

I've just got started with the Zcash miners for Ubuntu & Windows that were released by Nicehash.

You can watch a video I made for each of them and they should be useful for anyone who wants to get started mining Zcash.

How to Mine Zcash on Windows
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GVNGcF37jM4

How to Mine Zcash on Linux (Ubuntu)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EldQk9R6sww

So this only works with Nicehash pools? All Zcash is converted to BTC?

I ll try to test it on my i7 later

This version works with suprnova:

https://github.com/ocminer/nheqminer

No windows version yet, i'm on it
some bat file for this miner?
for suprnova
and where is the wallet download for Windows

Not necessarily needed, just run it with -u user.worker

I'll do the Klingon translation.

Then I'll do the romulan Wink

Hi guys, just entered xzc mining, can someone point me out some reference hash power for i7 6700 CPU (Skylake)?

Also why i cannot connect to suprnova but on pool.mn is everything ok? Is suprnova having issues with stratum?

Another question: is it normal that i see 0 Hashes on my cpu miner while mining on pool.mn but on the pool dashboard i can see 0.14 in hashing power?
When i try to solo mine i see hashes per sec on the miner window...very strange.

Hmm which error do you get ? There were some DDoSes earlier but it's all good now.

Hi you haven't made a pool yet?
Anyone can explain how to mine?

Check https://xzc.suprnova.cc/index.php?page=gettingstarted

Great work, tested and works fine on https://zec.suprnova.cc
How run it on zec.suprnova.cc?
I use the following command:
nheqminer_x64_AVX.exe -stratum=stratum+tcp://zec.suprnova.cc:2142 -user ivan1.1 -password 123
but get connection to nicehash stratum:

http://i63.tinypic.com/bi57qw.png

Currently you'd have to use a dirty hack and edit the host file:

C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\etc\hosts

and enter:

Code:
46.105.114.185 equihash.eu.nicehash.com

This will redirect the traffic to suprnova - you have to remove that to reconnect to nicehash proxy again.

As soon as I have some time on the weekend i'll add an option to the miner
2232  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Zcoin - The Zerocoin cryptocurrency, guaranteeing financial privacy on: October 21, 2016, 02:12:16 PM
Well thinking about one thing. If one will have dual cpu xeon server with say 32gb ram, could it be used to create own virtual cloud to mine zcoin?

I have a dedicate server dual xeon 12 core(24 threads) with 32GB ram and I also mined this pool suprnova but it's not good .

Ocminer is new as pool operators. give hime some time to learn how to not be ddos

Really? :-D
I don't think so. He's been running pools for years.
And if you know how a ddos works, you understand that there are no countermeasure that always works.

The frontend is lagging a bit currently as there are some folks trying to get it down again.

I still advise to use the other pools around too..

i can't mining because "Stratum authentication failed". whats the problem? username and password are right

Seems like username and or password are incorrect...

You can now test with nicehash's miner:

https://github.com/nicehash/nheqminer

Works fine on https://zec.suprnova.cc

The same settings as zcash-miner? (-stratum=stratum+tcp://zec.suprnova.cc:2142 -user=Weblogin.Worker -password=Worker password)

I think this soft is only working on nicehash.

You can use your hosts file to redirect the host to the pool, i'll give instructions shortly Smiley

but yes.. it's primarily targeted for nicehash where you then can point the hash to the pool

Sprnova pool operator ,  some of my miners are getting rejected by the pool , these are highish hash rate machines like 30h/s from one of the boxes , any reason why ?

its the pool becase once I switched to pool.mn it works again

I'm sorry one of my main mining nodes was shut down as the hoster falsely thought it was attacked by a DDoS (which he made him block the port) - and the backup nodes couldn't cope with all the load, i've informed him now and the node is back up - all is good again.
2240  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ZEC] ZCASH - All coins are created equal. Discussion Thread (Unofficial) on: October 20, 2016, 11:08:41 PM

It's a pool..  In fact it is or was the first zcash stratum pool Smiley
https://zec.suprnova.cc
How can I create a Zcash wallet in windows environment or online and where from I can buy Zcash the fastest after October 28?
I really need a window soft testing some cpu servers but it seems no one does not want to build this soft
just only linux soft. I'm waiting for official lauch

You can now test with nicehash's miner:

https://github.com/nicehash/nheqminer

Works fine on https://zec.suprnova.cc
