I will release a closed-source GPU miner with 2.5% dev fee in the next days. It requires AMD cards with at least 8GB memory.
Testing it right now, it gives 8-9 Sol/s on a RX480.
:-( And I wanted to learn how this stuff actually works and look at the source or at least at the fixes necessary to make tromps solver work... Very sad... |

I have honestly no idea where the bug is, and I'd love to know what can be done.. If anyone has an idea, please feel free to test and contribute/fork my repo. |

Account sending is now active on Suprnova: Log into your Account and set your Pubkey in "My Account":  Once you've set your pubkey, and since free accounts are limited due to very low hash on the pool the following algo is running: If you've mined more than 50 PASC, you'll get an account. If accounts from this round are left (very likely) you'll get an account if you've mined more than 25 PASC: If again accounts are left from this giveaway round, you'll get an account if you've mined more than 10 PASC If STILL accounts are left you now get an account if you've mined more than 5 PASC. The first round will be manually verified and starts within 24h. After this initial giveaway is done, you'll get an account automatically everytime you've mined more than 20 PASC. This is not yet set in stone, the original plan was that if the pool hashrate is high enough and if the pool gets enough accounts, I'd lower that limit down to 1 PASC or something reasonable so that everyone gets their free accounts. However, I'm still extremely disappointed how this all turned out, so i'm unsure what will be happening. dude! i get this error. Failed to update your account: Invalid payment ID ! people want accounts, so they want to solo mine. Pascal coin incentivizes solo mining for this reason. Otherwise, the pools keep the accounts...they may give out some here and there, but they are getting a majority of them and can make a huge profit from that...why wouldn't the miners want to help themselves?
That's understandable but with the hashrate now again the only ppl getting accounts are big miners so we just shifted the money to big miners and the only way to still get a account is to buy them claymore has dual mining without solo support so all those miners are not leaving pools to try to solo mine I'm a miner and do it for a hobby I look at this from all different ways You can get accounts for free on suprnova and pool.mn in case you didn't notice yet And regarding your other question, no, nothing has to be removed from the pool at all. |

If this coin was slightly more liquid or had dev bounties, I'd consider doing a Windows version for it...I did the port of Zcash to Mac, Windows and arm64, zclassic to Mac (and helped with Win), and just did the port of Komodo to Windows (another Zcash fork with....other things added )....as I find this coins concept intriguing...but I don't have the time right now to do it for nothing. I also did the initial work on getting the Insight explorer working for Komodo, and have done customizations of it for clients for Zcash, and ported bitnodes to zcash (znodes, in my github). So if this coin is at all alive and kicking later in March, I may do an explorer and Windows port on a lark if they are still not there. If I had the gear to mine it, I'd do it sooner. Is there a repo of your insight fork on your github? I might try setting up the block explorer myself when I have some time |

Right now zero is only experiment. Who know what will come out from it. True, I didn't hear anything for a long time from the dev, but I've listed it now. wish i didn't have to look at that red banner across the top of my pool dashboard though  Of course, I'll disable that for now until we finally get a decent miner... Where are all the miner coders ? |
