What's going on with Suprnova? no confirmation for the past 12 hours. I have 23 unconfirmed pasc since yesterday, been mining all night and did not receive any coin. The stats are like "frozen", Am I missing something? Had to return to ETH mining while I find out what's going on. Do I have to update something? It's very weird, all I get is "accepted" jobs from Suprnova, but my rigs don't find any job.

No problems on suprnova.

I've purged all payments yesterday as I'm testing the free giveaway of accounts based on how much MH/s you have on the pool and how long you're already mining, so if your hashpower is low it might be that at that point all your unconfirmed coins turned into confirmed coins and now your unconfirmed balance is growing and it takes again a few hours until they're confirmed.

However, stats/blocks etc are all fine.

My hashpower is almost 18000 MH/s, is it that low? As I told, no confirmed coins fro the last 12 hours. I know I am not a monster miner (I wish I was  Grin )
By the way, nice to hear you are planing to give account for free.

But unconfirmed coins are rising, right?

1404  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ħ [HODL] Get 600% Interest Guaranteed With This One Weird Trick! on: February 15, 2017, 11:28:16 AM
hopefully we will not see a huge dump when coins get released after one year lockdown. But I expect to see endless dumping of the coin.
Would also be nice to read at least from time to time some news from the dev but from what I read here, the project has been abandonned... could anyone confirm this? Or am I completely wrong...

reposting what I wrote before:

If I have understood what has been posted correctly, when work time permits (a few weeks), Fuzzbawls and Freetrade will write the code to:

1. Fork the coin back to not requiring a one-year time lock on newly mined coins.  Those coins already time-locked will remain so according to their maturity block listed in the wallet.
2. Fix a minor bug with timelock concerning the length of time selectable for term deposits.
3. This will require a new wallet (ver 3.0?)

After that, I would expect additional pools to activate, perhaps Supernova and others.
Nicehash still lists HODL as an option so you may see some mining activity there.
Several people on this forum have said they will be adding their own hashing power to the mining activity.
YoBit, the only current exchange listing HODL, may or may not follow the fork, or may have to be paid to follow it.
One poster here said he would add HODL payment capability to his online grocery.
We will have to convince additional exchanges to list HODL.
We will need to find additional vendors willing to accept HODL as payment.

Does that help?

Thanks for this detailed info about the further development of the coin. This was actually very helpful.

While this is "the plan", please understand that I signed on as a repository and release MAINTAINER. It was never my intention to be the sole contributor of code changes. That being said, I do still plan to write the code for this fork (if nobody else submits a PR), but keep in mind that as a contractor any/all paid contract work will push this down in priority for me.

This isn't a call for someone to pay me to write the fork code, not at all. It is simply a statement of facts regarding the timeline. At the moment, I have about a week's worth of already paid work that will take priority and I really cannot guarantee that more contract work won't come in the mean time.

The miner improvements are still not satisfactory for windows builds. As previously stated, this is something that I cannot debug myself! This is not my code nor do I have the required hardware to get issues sorted properly. My inclination is to just say "fuck it" for in-wallet miner improvements and let the community invest in proper GBT miner inclusion...or merge the improvements "as-is" and let windows users fumble with in-wallet mining.    Neither are "good" solutions, admittedly, but I don't see much else I can do on my own.

I was bored and tried to submit a block using stratum and submitblock but I still have the issue that blocks aren't accepted because of no hodling time or something similar. How would I need to submit the block to make it work?

Is something up with the pool? I'm getting a lot of rejects across all my rigs.

On which node ? All good from my side
1406  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: Suprnova's XZC ZCoin Pool - Which fork do you want to mine? on: February 15, 2017, 08:42:17 AM
It seems ccminer is having some issues here, I've noticed that too with ccminer - however cpuminer works fine.

Hey, looks funny, also no premine, interesting wallet codebase.

Here's a Pool:

https://pdg.suprnova.cc

What's so interesting about the codebase?

It's a very recent codebase  - so it's absolutely no walletbuilders coin and also segwit compatible (not turned on yet) - IF the dev has skills, he could enable segwit and a few other features/enhancements as well and make this at least something special.

There's also no premine .. Interesting what will happen.

EDIT: However, the dev is using a bought account - so always be cautious

ocminer, can you please delete my entire account?  It seems to be completely broken it locked me out again when I went to change payout amount and will not email me. Maybe deleting the account and letting me create a new one will fix the issue. I can not manage account and now locked out again when I attempted payment change as it reported it will send me an unlock email but that email is not sending  Sad

Sure, please PM me your address again and I'll do that

@ocminer :

Check your pool offline more times .
Also a lot of "Stratum authorize answer id is not correct" and "Stratum authorization failed".

Yeah sorry some folks are attacking the pool the whole day, I'm trying to keep it up

Someone may be turned to beckon on the GPU miner? I have it starts up, connects to the pool but all the pools say that the invalid shares

Ah you're the one flooding the pool with invalid shares ?

The GPU miner will work after block 20500 - not earlier, did you read the text in RED on the pool header ?

Clear. I just didn't pay attention to this information. So I do not know English and therefore didn't pay attention.

No prob, you're not the only one Wink

Im going to bed soon so if I set my miner to
xzc.suprnova.cc:1569, you will automatically switch everything at block 20500 ?

Yep. A watchdog is sitting in front of the pool and barks at me when we're on block 20495 Smiley
