2221  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you spend more-do you get more? on: May 15, 2023, 08:09:20 PM
There is an opinion that the more money you spend, the more you get in return
Though there's no right or wrong opinion. However, that opinion isn't really right if you'll ask me. What's right is this, the more you invest, the more you get in return.

it is interesting to find out who really works in this direction. I spend enough money, but I have a fixed income, therefore I will not be able to get more. I don't have rich relatives, and I don't expect an inheritance either. I want to get rich, not to deny myself, but I have to save on everything. Who really faced big expenses and received even more? How does it work, maybe I don't understand the essence of it correctly?
You've said it that you're not born with silver spoon and you've just got enough money to live. You have to save and that savings of yours is the one that you'll use for investing. Look at the rich people, they have one in common and most of them are spending wisely their money through investing, stocks, gold, bonds and even in bitcoin and crypto. And if your salary isn't enough, look for a 2nd or 3rd job if you still can and from there you'll learn how to be wiser with your money because you've worked hard for it.
2222  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 2.4% People from Bangladesh Hold Cryptocurrency on: May 15, 2023, 06:50:59 PM
Hopefully soon that restriction will be lifted and the Bangladesh government will see the importance of adopting Bitcoin. It's a good news to see that there are still this percentage of people that holds crypto there despite the declaration of the government that it's illegal to have it.
Nothing can stop people from transacting in Bitcoin and they can't be traced unless they'll vocally say that they're into it. I wouldn't even be surprised if this number will grow in the next couple of years and that decision might also come out from the government that they're now be removing any restrictions that's placed upon the crypto market there.
2223  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin 2024 halving less than 1 year away on: May 14, 2023, 11:12:52 PM
It will be interesting if there will be no bull run after the halving. As it will still be considered as something new just as the 2021 was actually a new bull run for which it has exceeded our expectations. But who wants that? I don't personally like to see it happen that there will be no bull run after the halving as the cycle notes and proved that there will always be the bull run every cycle and after the halving.

when do you think the bull market will start?
My estimates will still remain that it might start after several months but we'll see the ATH and actual peak of it by 2025. Just as what mostly are believing that 2025 might be the great peak price point of Bitcoin will be seen again.

2225  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: THE WAY FORWARD on: May 14, 2023, 07:50:17 PM
Welcome to the forum. Just explore and go through the topics that you're interested with first, whether you're knowledgeable or not. Read first.
That's the way forward so that you know what you're talking about and you're not just randomly joining the topics without knowing what actually is because you're reading. The links given to you about rules is where you should start for you to understand what are the do's and dont's. Do not rush and just learn everything gradually and enjoy all of the threads and topics that you're interested at.
Most information are already here pertaining to first, Bitcoin and then next, the altcoins and the market as well.
2226  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: You are still very early on: May 14, 2023, 02:57:20 PM
Don't forget that we're also tuning in and waiting for the next halving next year. So, from the 6.25 BTC per block reward. It is going to be lower and cut into half which is 3.125 BTC per block reward. For those that don't understand it, the miners are going to get lesser bitcoin but then this is going to affect bitcoin in value or price particularly. There will be lesser bitcoin to be mined every halving and yes, it's still early. This is the power of Bitcoin for being scarce and having a limited supply. Let those people that don't want to listen to these advices that they should invest now or else they'll truly regret it and will finally say that they really are too late to get in.
2227  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Beware of such ads on Instagram & Facebook! on: May 13, 2023, 09:46:15 PM
Last time, I've just shared a fake Ledger pre-IPO scam. And this is just posted on Facebook. These scammers are all over the place to find their preys and victimize with their scheme. I don't visit Instagram at most times but it's for sure that they're also there. While these scammers are showy with their posts and attractive images, don't be gullible with such because there's no easy money. And that's what they do, they'll take their victims from website to website and transfer them until they finally landed to their Telegram or even Whatsapp, as I've said they are everywhere.
2228  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: May 13, 2023, 01:16:37 PM
Him and Pat can still win a ring,  Pat Beverley to receive a ring if the Los Angeles Lakers win it all.

But not gonna lie, it's going to be hard as they are going to face the top seed in the West, the Denver Nuggets.

However, I think the Lakers has a chance, they have a deeper bench that Denver and at any given night there will be a player that will explode and it's going to be very difficult for the Nuggets to stop that guy if they lack role players.
Facing Nuggets won't be an easy thing for the Lakers and that's a guarantee. I guess coach Darvin Ham already has something on his head on how they'll delay Jokic the least. But just as what we think, it's not going to be Jokic that they'll be focusing. And about Pat and Russ getting a ring if ever Lakers gets this year's title then that's good riddance for them. After being traded, and if they are eligible for it then they should receive it. I'm just curious on this one if ever the Lakers gets the ring and Pat together with Russ gets a ring as well. Are they going to receive some cash incentive because of that? or it's just going to be the plain ring that they'll receive as champs?
2229  Other / Meta / Re: Imgur images suddenly became invalid? on: May 13, 2023, 10:47:42 AM
All of my images for the threads and topics I made came and uploaded from imgur. I'll have to go through each of them and have it edited with a new image came from those image upload websites that have been suggested. Since most are talking about talkimg, that shall be my top choice when I've gone through each of them.

Base on your question let me said your images was written invalid in the bitcointalk because the image has been removed from imgur website. This made me to do some research on the net and I found out that Imgur to ban explicit images and delete uploads not tied to an account, then if that is the case bitcointalk forum users should use alternative mean of uploading pictures here. Images here is needed to be permanent to be viewing whenever the thread has arrived.
They should remove the tag on their URL as the "The magic of the Internet". That's no longer magical. And there seem to be nothing on their Blog and no updates at all informing their users and guests.
2230  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Exchange Withdrawal Fee manipulation on: May 13, 2023, 08:30:01 AM
That's really high. They've made this note for it to make someone understand and think that fees are really that high.

Quote
Network fee
0.0000039 ~ 0.001 BTC

While looking at the withdrawal fee is actually 0.001BTC, the other 2 options are to withdraw it in the form of BEP20 and ERC20. But I see the obvious of what they're trying to do. They want users to withdraw it through BSC network(BEP20) because the fee is just around $0.1 while them taking the actual BTC in replacement of their BTC(BEP20).
2231  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Which of this is plagiarism ? on: May 13, 2023, 06:30:32 AM
It's okay to share some articles but always provide the source where you've found it and just do some snippet of it or only the important parts. As for the usage of AI, it's not really encouraged to use it when we're interacting with each other genuinely. Well, the offense of it will depend on the mods take if they've seen you copied and verified it that you've used AI on your posts.

I think it is always better to share a content of an article in providing proof and support to the topic being discussed than just mere personal idea which often got some errors.  Obviously we need to provide links to those articles to avoid plagiarism to avoid breaking the rules of the forum.
Yes, that's ethical and it's a courtesy and paying respect to the owner of those snippets that you'll get or an article that you want to share in the forum.
And if someone forgets to do that, they'll be judged and gets a ban from the forum mods and there's no excuse with that because even before, it's been said a bannable offense and everyone have to remember that rule of law as it's an official one. Newbies that are exploring the forum should also get to know that and read first the rules that's set for everyone so that they'll be guided. Plus, all of those links and guides shared on this thread concerning the topic are already here for OPs guidance.
2232  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Internet is one limitation of bitcoin on: May 13, 2023, 01:45:55 AM
I am facing a real world issue that prevents me from using Bitcoin.

I live in Pakistan and for last three days cellular internet service all across the country is suspended because of prevailing law and order situation. Internet is working on fixed line connection that is reaching homes. So there is still some connectivity available.

If government shut down internet service even on fixed line connection then there will be complete internet blackout in the country and in that situation we cant use bitcoin.

I think this is also one of limitation of bitcoin that we need internet to use it.
While that's true that it's one of the challenges of one bitcoin investor should face and that's having no internet connection. Although it is an isolated problem for some countries where connectivity is being cut and controlled by the government, given the situation that you're allowed to look for some alternatives then there's one that's being suggested and that's through Starlink. I'm just not sure if Starlink's service is supported and it has to go through Pakistan's customs and it will be on them if they'll allow it to enter and receive the shipment from SL. And that's the solution in times like this that you've really said a challenge that bitcoin will face maybe somehow in the future from other nations but not today.
A satellite connection is and it's just a matter of time until most of the countries will have their own satellite services like they'll be merchanting SL's service but with a margin through them, if they're strict as Pakistan.
2233  Economy / Economics / Re: The Role of Education in Financial Literacy on: May 12, 2023, 11:02:29 PM
It's so true that one who understands economics and financial education doesn't mean that they're all financially literate at all or they're already experiencing financial freedom. And that's because the practice itself will still reflect on what makes someone financially free. But it's best to have an idea and at least basic knowledge or education about financial literacy. It's one way for someone to understand how money works and how they can let their money work for them. Because without such, yeah, they can learn on their own but it might be a rough road for them as experience will teach them with that.

Interesting and easy to understand. if I may take the common thread everyone should be better prepared to navigate the complexities of personal finance in order to make informed investment decisions and ultimately achieve their financial goals. financial literacy "We control money, not money controls us".
Yeah, it all comes on how prepared and knowledgeable you are. These additional knowledge that we learn in finance, economics and other money stuff doesn't gives us the guarantee that we'll be successful and earn a lot. But with this, it's an advantage from the rest that have nothing to start with. It's making us prepared on how to take necessary actions if it's come to financial goals that we're setting for ourselves and this isn't just all about temporary goals but about the future finances and status that we're aiming.
2234  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Which of this is plagiarism ? on: May 12, 2023, 09:12:57 PM
Or much better to be genuine in discussions and avoid the usage of those AIs just for you to join discussions. You can practice yourself without using such because if you develop and has leaned on it for most of the time, it's gonna be a hard thing for you because you'll be reliant on it.
There's proper usage on it but not on these discussions. It's okay if you're not good at something when you're about to join discussions, thus, it's fine to ask questions to know the answers legitimately. It's okay to share some articles but always provide the source where you've found it and just do some snippet of it or only the important parts. 2235  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's the fate of BTC payment now on: May 12, 2023, 07:11:16 PM
It is okay for you to halt accepting Bitcoin payments if that's what you think shall be good for you and for your customers. Until the fees drop down then accept it back anytime as you wish. Mostly, you've got no problem since you're just going to receive it but the problem will turn to the customers and they're the ones to shoulder the fees, since they're the ones that will be sending payments to you in bitcoin. I guess you just have to remind your customers to check the fees first if they want to pay you with bitcoin but it won't be like this forever.
2236  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Chipmixer, blender.io fake mixer is still active on the internet. Avoid google🔎 on: May 11, 2023, 10:07:56 PM
Can someone give a thread or article for me to read why Chipmixer is now offline?
You can visit their actual website and it will show you what happened. There's the message that will show upon accessing their website made by the FBI.

I didn't know that they're gone, they've been heavily promoted in this forum for a long time so I'm curious.
Yes, they're known for running their campaign for years and have been thought as the most stable mixer campaign but then, all of these incidents came all of a sudden.

While the seizure for chipmixer and other concerning mixers, these scammers will not stop to trick people that are not aware of their closure/seizure. Even the existing mixers today that are running a campaign, there's for sure the phishing and copy cat websites made by these cons.

2238  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you still do business with them? on: May 11, 2023, 06:41:39 PM
I know that bittrex plays a role for the history of the crypto market as they're one of the biggest exchange before Binance became one. But, I wouldn't step any on their territories when they come back to business. Just no for me and I wouldn't even think twice with that.
Even if they'll comeback with such good offers and promotions, that wouldn't enticed me of using them and that's even going to give me the thought that they're trying hard for it but still, not gonna push me into using them back.
Bittrex was once among the top crypto exchanges with high regards in its security, so I think it’s still reasonable to do business with them and trust my funds again into their exchange. However, maybe this time I will be more cautious not to put all my funds to them so that if this scenario will repeat, then I won’t have to deal with regrets from losing huge amount.
It's up to you if that's what you think about them and putting your funds on them while having these issues. That's fine I guess to put any amount that's okay according to you and no matter what happens, you're aware that the worse can occur.
But just for the sake of avoiding these things, it's better to just avoid them and let the storm calms first before going on with any amount and start trading back there.

I know Bittrex was very stable way back then, but still it’s safer not to put all in.
Gone are the days when they're like that but until they settle everything and regain its past status or maybe not anymore, we're all free to think what we should do with our funds with or without them.
2239  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Netexbit.com is a licensed exchange office on: May 11, 2023, 01:25:00 PM
Your exchange is giving me that feeling that it's like template and is like a project of a student. There's also that date from 2019 that's currently with the "guest" word.
Apparently a guest made a trade on their platform somewhere on the 1st Jan 2019 and left them a positive rating!

It looks like the guest was from the Future because it was not until 24th April this year, that the domain was registered

Code:
Domain: netexbit.com
Registrar: REGISTRAR OF DOMAIN NAMES REG.RU LLC
Registered On: 2023-04-24
Expires On: 2024-04-24
Updated On: 2023-04-24
Status: clientTransferProhibited
Name Servers: bart.ns.cloudflare.com
dara.ns.cloudflare.com
Nice find.
I wonder who's the guest is?  Roll Eyes
Well, obviously we have an idea who's that guest that made a transaction from that year and it was also them trying to give a good rating on themselves. OP can still improve and do better with this if they want to make this business of theirs genuine and attract people to trade on their exchange. You have many things to consider OP to make your website better and by being honest and transparent with every details you put.
2240  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: [Suggestion] LN Adoption Starts Here on: May 11, 2023, 10:58:55 AM
It's a nice idea but most of the campaigns will also need to convert the actual bitcoin into LN AFAIK.

I don't know how fixedfloat works but since you said it's a swap site, I assume it will require you to send btc everytime you want to use.
It's a swap where it is also accepting LN wherein a participant can convert it back to bitcoin or with any other altcoins that it's supported. So, if the manager decides to pay in LN, the participants just need to have those wallets that supports LN and then sell and swap it through fixedfloat and have it received with another altcoin as they wish or even back to bitcoin. It's not really needing a lot of effort but this is going to be a big adjustment for most of the managers. While looking at mempool, I guess we just need to wait a week or two until we see if the fees will stabilize.
