2241  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH being dumped now! on: April 15, 2016, 08:37:44 AM
Why People still expecting more in eth altcoin.. and i think bitcoint can't replace anything.. all altcoin has the same as bitcoin but the problem of bitcoin is the block sized.. after it will fix.. and better to dump all your eth..

I think the bitcoin price will rise a lot after the block size issue is resolved. But Ethereum is a different story.

yeah, if the block size issue for bitcoin is solved the price will start going up because everybody is just looking for a reason for buying.
just wait for the rise and then see all these random altcoins die one by one.
2242  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum -- All or nothing? on: April 14, 2016, 12:06:23 PM
a cryptocurrency that is good, will never need to spam all over every single social media to get a little attention.

bitcoin didn't reach 6.5 billion dollar market cap by filling our inboxes with spam about how good bitcoin is. i still have at least 10 pages of inbox spam on my reddit account all the same b.s. about ethereum and the moon.

it also didn't reach this position by creating bots to make countless new accounts each day spamming the same thing and spreading FUD.

all these things seem to me like desperate pump and dump scheme.
2243  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: To everyone converting BTC to ETH on: April 14, 2016, 11:55:27 AM
Read a little about history of NXT, while jumping ship to ETH as a store of value. Compare the following two graphs...

a. http://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/ethereum/#charts

b. http://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/nxt/#charts

Compare the following facts...

i. NXT was backed by a centralized organization, just like ETH.

ii. NXT was PoS, just like ETH will ultimately be.

iii. NXT offered asset exchange, while ETH offers smart contract. Both of these functionality, which they claim to make them unique, are actually possible on bitcoin blockchain, which is far more secure.

iv. With price rise, NXT backers sold their holding to increase liquidity in the market. With price rise, ETH backers are increasing ETH supply in the market to increase liquidity in the market.

p.s. Alt coin trading is a gambling. If u wanna test your luck on some coin under pump, its fine. But, make sure to come back to BTC, when u have made enough, otherwise u'll lose all and have to be a mute spectator while the next alt wave hits. GooD Luck Wink

this is a great topic, i totally agree. although i don't like to think of trading as a gamble because it is not just luck it can be predictable. for example the rise of ETH became clear at some point when everybody was getting hyped up just as the dump was so clear as the initial holders started unloading their holdings at top price.

i will give you two suggestions based on what i have read; take it or leave it.

if you want to start trading then do it on a good exchanger (check out coinmarketcap.com/exchanger) for that. poloniex and bittrex are good

also don't buy things random users suggest on the forum. they have other purposes when they publicly say a coin is good to be bought.
2245  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is this what we called "addictive to gamble"? on: April 14, 2016, 11:45:44 AM
After reading the whole 5 pages i come to conclusion that, addictive or not is depend on your mindset, when you play for winning instead of having fun and you put your whole life in it that is we called it "gamble addiction"

its a really great to see there are a lot of opinions here, keep your opinions coming guys

exactly.
i don't know why i keep seeing topics here about gambling addiction!
it is not that hard to keep it under control, we are all adults here and know how to manage our money.
i have been playing different gambling games for a long time but never lost a lot because i control myself and bet wisely and not with emotions,
2246  Economy / Gambling / Re: MY WEBSITE help Me QUIT GAMBLING. on: April 14, 2016, 11:40:34 AM
I think it is a good way but if you do not feel bored gamble alone on your own website and why you do not try to play gambling games on facebook or sites that provide opponent casino games without having to deposit.
Yeah i think also many website are free to play no need to risk your money to gamble.. just like http://www.vegasslotsonline.com/free/

i think this is only promotion, all casiṇ in fiat currency have a free game with credit, and i have see every time, when you play with free credit, win more time, is only incentive for attract players

the problem is that those sites are not really giving away free money, they are either giving some tiny amount like the faucet payments or fiat $1 to play with or they are giving "bonus on deposit" which you should spend money to get that bonus.
2247  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Which is the best mixing site ? on: April 14, 2016, 11:32:30 AM
Bitmixer.io is an old service that has been working for a very long time (at least three years) but the other is a new service.

i personally have used bitmixer.io for my coin mixing and only tested the other. both worked smoothly. but i prefer bitmixer for their good history.

also there is the shared coins feature in blockchain.info wallet that i have never tested myself but it is also good.

p.s. move your topic to services discussion, it doesn't belong here.
2248  Economy / Speculation / Re: will the halving effect alt coin on: April 13, 2016, 02:30:15 PM
a couple of them may go up because of the bitcoin rise and some may go down because people will pull out of them.
eth will definitely go down if the price start to rise.

LTC will go up and maybe Doge will follow

$$ remember these are all speculation and there is no telling if it happens or not.
2249  Economy / Services / Re: Need 5 Account - Paying on: April 13, 2016, 02:21:55 PM

2251  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: LISK is taking over ETH or just another hype scam coin? on: April 13, 2016, 02:08:36 PM

2252  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: earn 0.5 btc on: April 13, 2016, 02:06:56 PM
I think you cant earn 0.5 btc unless if you are a business man that you can start business with bitcoin.. or you have legendary account to sell it each for 0.5..

what do you think a business man is?
0.5BTC is just $200, and that is not hard to earn. just do a simple job and you can get paid that much and then buy bitcoin with it.
you can also learn online or computer skills and do the jobs online.
2253  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Doubling Bitcoin? on: April 13, 2016, 01:58:13 PM
Maybe you can try to make business or service which accept bitcoin as payment. I think it is good idea to make any cash from your own effort. But on the first, you must think what would you sell or give a service to your customers
to create an online store business looks like it's good. if you have no ideas for items that you sell. you can try to provide a single place. you can make a profit from the rental of advertising items on your site

this is a good idea and has the potential for you to make good money from it but in order to start and be successful you will need a lot of experience in making a site, advertising, monetizing content, and SEO which none of them are easy.
2254  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The top 3 best rated bitcoin exchanges - Spring 2016 Report on: April 10, 2016, 03:32:39 PM
wow this article is good dude  Grin
maybe can be useful in the future, bookmarked.  Cool
Bitcoin business usually changes very rapidly, same goes for exchanges until January we usually had Cryptsy picked as one of top bitcoin exchanges.
And now this is failed exchange and no one in his right mind won't use it anymore after that security breach.

well, that is true but luckily it doesn't happen that often so if an exchanger is good like bitfinex or kraken they will stay in the top ten and may only change rank. and exchangers like 247, and Independent Reserve will continue being unknown.
2255  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: how much you lost money in gambling? on: April 10, 2016, 03:29:30 PM
I am still in profit and growing it day by day, for me losing in gambling is something I don't know yet and I plan to keep winning, I only play sportsbook after reading all news and analysis regarding the event I am going to bet.

wow, that is a very good stats.
may i ask how long have you been gambling, is it a short time or long? because if you are having a wining streak for a long time then you are a pro.
2256  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to make money with BTC/Altcoin on: April 10, 2016, 03:24:10 PM
....

Thanks for the replies. What website/software could I best use or do you use to look at the altcoin charts. And what websites do you use for your trading (with or without bots)

for charts use coinmarketcap.com to see all the altcoins that are available with their prices, charts, and places that you can trade each of them.

i use bittrex for trading altcoin.
2257  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: April 10, 2016, 03:21:50 PM
I will better choose both .but if it depends on thread or only one to choose ,I choose bitcoins because bitcoin have more potential but both of them have a great value in the future.

Going for both forms of investing is a wise decision. Because in above quote it's been just described about growth, it has also the possibility to fall.

if you look at which of the two investment tools offer a better long term potential profit, then bitcoin is by far the better option. if you hold gold for a few years you may end up having made only 10-20% in profit. that's why bitcoin is my investment of choice at any time.

.... and if you hold bitcoin for a few years you may end up with nothing Wink

well, any kind of investment has its ups and downs but none of them (unless you are investing in a scam) will never go down over night to nothing. first of all this is not going to happen with bitcoin but any sane mind will sell if the price starts going down to prevent big losses and then buys back when the down has stopped
2258  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: April 10, 2016, 03:16:46 PM
Well on the time that is coming holding is the best investment as the price should and must go up atleast the pression in on it.

there is no should or must here out of nowhere. you can't just guess that because of the past halving caused a rise this time it may not happen.

although i am expecting a rise but i have so many different reasons for that and not just hoping for a rise because of halving.
2259  Economy / Speculation / Re: Stable, stable, stable! on: April 10, 2016, 03:07:30 PM
this stability of price has been good for me lately because i was so afraid i am going to miss out and won't be able to buy more cheap, because i recently came across some more money that i wanted to invest in bitcoin and i was hoping to do it at this price and not any higher.
2260  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BEWARE for avatar/signature giveaway coins on: April 10, 2016, 03:04:08 PM
this is exactly why i always play it super safe and i suggest everybody else to do the same:

if i ever want to take part in any of these giveaways, ... i always use my exchanger to create an address and receive the coins there. i want to do it anyways in the end.

or if i can't do that and i have no other choice i would download and install the wallet,... on my virtualbox windows not my main system to lower the risks.
