1261  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How many BTC do you gamble with? on: December 05, 2016, 02:11:33 PM
i have been betting with bigger amounts and even with 0.5BTC in my bankroll too but because of the bitcoin price rise i was forced to reduce the amount a little bit and i am now making bets more conservatively because losing is that much hurtful to me because it means i lose bitcoin and also miss out on the price rise.

but i will be back to normal when price is stable again Cheesy
1262  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: LTC @0.004 - whats up on: December 05, 2016, 02:03:29 PM
Some litecoin whale decided to dump a lot litecoin onto the market, all at once.  Someone needed money.  That's bout the only real explanation,  everything else is jist guessing.
Very well said only bagholders or whales could able to dump its price like that. I think this is the end for LTC or just another strategic move and would tend to pump up on the near future. If it doesnt then LTC would remain its place.

altcoin market is at a pretty bad stage right now, everybody is dumping every altcoin in the market and turning their moneyz to bitcoin!

but as for litecoin it is really strange to see this kind of big dump and this only happens when Chinese dump, they are the only ones that dump like this, remember the LTC halving pump and sudden dump?

but one thing is certain: this is not the end of litecoin, a coin that has been around since 2013 ish

i have to admit i also do that sometimes it is fun watching some of these topics where two sides are attacking each other and both of them have a hidden agenda, and if you know both of their hidden agendas it is even more fun.

but also sometimes over hyped topics are also fun to watch and also fun to bump after a month or two where they die. like ethereum topics where it says ethereum is replacing bitcoin Grin
1264  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Happen If Gambling was not introduced? on: December 05, 2016, 01:48:50 PM
If bitcoin will not introduced to people then no one will rich in gambling i think gambling can make people rich in just onw lucky blow when you are in casinos and play poker games and other. and there are no owner gambling rich right now and people are really hard to earn money.

The possibility of gambling not existing is very small, and the number of people who would have become rich from gambling is small too because only the chosen ones are becoming rich out of it. Without gambling I can say that more people would have a better life right now because a lot of us are betting everytime more than we wanted to when we begun our day so many become actually homeless because of that.

I would say that only a portion of the society are gambling, not majority in the society but yes, there is a need for that small amount of individual to slow down their gambling habits especially if they just keep on losing and not winning at all.

actually i think the majority of the society is gambling but they may not do it as big or as serious as you may think. it may be a simple friendly card game with your friends on a Sunday afternoon and still be gambling. but the minority (a very small portion) are gambling seriously and waste lots of time on it.
1265  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Any BTC betting groups? on: December 05, 2016, 01:43:39 PM
I was wondering if there are any groups here that provide daily advice and recommendations on best matches to bet on. Is there any groups like this, where the members help each other to improve their odds of wining the bets?

this is actually a good idea and i am wondering why this has not happened yet?! as others have already said there are only "Tipsters" topics with free and premium picks which you have to pay for.

but i somehow like the idea of user generated group where users start discussing matches free and more like peer-2-peer kind of thing that everybody helps and learns something instead of paying one person to tell you what to do.
1266  Economy / Gambling / Re: I tried my luck again in yobit dice game..But ended to lose on: December 05, 2016, 01:35:44 PM
Hi i just want to share my experience again. before i am looking for a good  dice game that you can make profit.. but almost all dice game are base on luck or fraud.. i don't the real i can't verified all of the game because their site is not open source..

Now i found dice in yobit i just try with free coins in many altcoin.. i can make a profit with those altcoin so i try to deposit in try my luck in dice game using bitcoin but result is different i never made a profit.. unlike altcoins that i use to play in dice game.. i thought that i can make a profit yobit dice but it can drain fast i just win 4 times with bet of 0.008 each and lose all in 8 times.. so it means they are not provably fair..

Do you think guys all dice game are fraud?
Well, gambles really in the first place is a high risk game, meaning it is really hard to win in a game like this. For me, there are just a chance of 90 -10, 90 percent losing and 10 percent winning. And not all dice games are fraud. They are really based on luck so if you want a game that will not really base on your luck, try sport gambling. Bit if you want to earn more, stop gambling. Start investing and saving.

for many people around here sports betting is also like dice because they haven't got a clue what they have to do to win in it. so your suggestion is only going to work if they are good at sports betting or if they have the knack for it to learn and most important of all: to follow sports around.
Dice and sports are the same but the level of risk on lossing of money is different they may need luck on some point but dice do really need it the most because its a game of chance somehow on sports you could able to increase you winning rate if you do know some important informations regarding on it. People would really think off that a site is fraud specially when they lose money.

that is what i was trying to say and i feel like i said it in a confusing way i am getting a bit off the topic of this thread but let me clarify it this way:

1) if you have 0 experience in dice or sports betting you have the same result in both of them, they are both a game of 100% chance for you.

2) if you have experience in dice or in sports betting you have a very smaller better chance of winning in dice but in sports betting your chances are improved a lot but they are still a game of chance but lets say you have 5% more chance in dice and 60% more chance in sports betting on top of your previous chance.
1267  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If a person has millions of Bitcoin and he dies one day................. on: December 04, 2016, 03:39:53 PM
I have a question about the amount of bitcoin there are. How many BTC are available now all around the world? And how many BTC can there maximum exist, or is there no limit?
It is hard to tell that how much Btc are available in all around the world, But maximum 21 millions bitcoins can be generated so Bitcoin is limited in numbers.

So, there can never be more than 21 million BTC. When will the maximum be reached? If you can count good, there is not 1 BTC available for every person in the world? If there are only 21 million, is it not so that it will never be a good kind of money to pay with? There can only be a very small % of people in the world who can have 1BTC.

who said every single person on the planet should use bitcoin? and they never will there will always be a small percentage using bitcoin. also there is nothing called bitcoin as far as code is concerned. there is only satoshi and what you are calling 1BTC is defined as 100000000 satoshi in code. now do you still think there isn't enough coins for everyone?

besides what you are saying is a problem for the future and that future won't come in our lifetime.

1269  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you bet on "Sports" games that you don't know? on: December 04, 2016, 03:27:51 PM
I never bet on sports I don't know nothing about. It's hard to win even when I know teams, without that I depend just on lucky picking.
Recently I had situation where I had free 10 mbtc to bet on NFL (giveaway for some casino, it was on this forum). I watched teams and in the end I choose some team and I didn't won nothing. Its bad decision to bet on sports you don't follow.

that is true but even if you don't know the game yourself you can still bet and win only if you are willing to spend some time and do a little research. all the information you need to learn is available online and you have to search for it.

and also sometimes there are tipsters with good record and even free tips that we can use (never tried any myself) but that is also an option for us.
1270  Economy / Gambling / Re: i want invest some Bitcoin . on: December 04, 2016, 03:21:46 PM
I found many topics at This forum and found that moneypot is best option to invest .
But here i am curious about its minimum deposit and return . And how much i will get profit in how many days ??

i am wondering where did you search that lead you to believe moneypot is the best option?!!
the resources on the forum like this topic: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1585408.0 show us that moneypot is not only bad but also you will lose money if you invest in it. it is strange but that is the fact that has been happening for a long time (a couple of months at least). you can also check the site itself and see if they offer the history over the past few months and see for yourself.

tbh, it is stupid as an investor to rely on those numbers for investing. As long as owners are trustworthy, I feel you should be investing in the casino which has the max wagered amount in that period of time. Luck can easily make a good casino bad, the next time the op of that thread invests again.

yeah luck is everything in gambling and also as a result it is everything when you invest in a gambling site too.

BUT that doesn't mean you can't use good information and you should invest blindly in anything that you see. for example that topic he mentioned is clearly showing that some of the casinos are doing pretty bad, and i don't know the reason but the outcome is clear enough to me and that is the only important thing .
1271  Economy / Economics / Re: What the Italian Referendum could mean for the price of Bitcoin on: December 03, 2016, 02:47:34 PM
I don't find that article very useful. It's pure speculation without any interesting research actually done. The influence of any referendum on Bitcoin price is greatly exaggerated in my opinion, since Bitcoin is a niche market compared to other safe haven investments like gold and silver. Before being able to invest in Bitcoin, people have to learn how it works. That pretty much rules out quick capital flows in the direction of Bitcoin.

World markets already assume a negative outcome of the referendum. The author got that right. But he draws illogical conclusions from his own theory: If market expect a negative outcome of the referendum and the referendum has an impact on Bitcoin prices, traders will already have bought Bitcoin prior to the referendum. This makes further price increases after a negative outcome not very likely.
There is some merit to the assumption that you'll see a lot of people buy in before the referendum is completely over, but it will be close to when it ends.

back with Brexit it spiked because of the surprise win, right now we don't have a ton of supplied data pulled from Italy regarding the referendum, and because of this we don't know what to expect. Everyone had Brexit (and Trump) down double-digits close to the vote, and both ended up winning their respective votes.

It all comes down to expectations.

brexit was the news all over the internet and all over the bitcoin related places the same thing was true about US election and Trump victory afterwards and that is why they could have any effect on price. besides the effects weren't that big.
this news is not even as significant.
1272  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: >>> PUMP WATCH <<< on: December 03, 2016, 02:36:18 PM
Interesting.
I'll have to follow this account and see if they post anything else in the coming days/ weeks.
Guess I'll have to finally make a Bittrex account.

I also might get an account on Bittrex,on Yobit and CCex I hardly can  follow those coins that will be pump,Bitrexx has a lot of whales on it and two or three whales can make a big difference in the trading pattern of any coin..

you know that platform on which you are trading doesn't matter because prices are usually become equal soon after any change. so the only thing that is important about choosing an exchange is first they should be legit and not a bad service like yobit and second there should be some real volume on those platforms for this last one check the orderbooks and compare them with each other.
1273  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Advantages and Disadvantages use cryptocurrency like Bitcoin for online gambling on: December 03, 2016, 02:30:25 PM
Disadvantages
Quote from: Cex Blog
Bitcoin’s price is known for its volatility. In comparison to traditional gambling, fluctuating value is only applicable to BTC gambling, since the price of a fiat currency is usually much more stable. Gamblers should follow the price changes in order to gain maximum profit.

While the usual Bitcoin transactions take minutes to be approved, it might not be the case with online casinos that use cryptocurrency. For security reasons some websites process withdrawals manually, which makes the procedure time-consuming.

There is a high possibility of hacking. In order to avoid it, the players have to use extensive security measures or fund protection recommended by the online casinos.

Also, Other Disadvantages is people become easy to being addicted which no one know your gambling activity using cryptocurrency.
This also vulnerable to scammer or suspicious activity which come from house or player itself.

i don't agree with these disadvantages.
- bitcoin price is not changing every second, so although it is volatile but it takes time for it to go up and down and it is not happening every day. and when you gamble you do it for a short time for example less than an hour so you invest the same amount (like $20 and after and hour you still have invested $20.01 or $19.99)

- the withdrawals from casinos have always been instant and automatic for me so i don't see why this is here. maybe it is talking about very huge amounts like 10BTC+?

- hacking is always a problem while online and it is not restricted to bitcoin!

- the addiction is also not related to crypto currencies but it is a gambling thing.
1274  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best source of bitcoin nowadays? on: December 03, 2016, 02:23:10 PM
faucet good source for newbie like me, i think gambling is best source of bitcoin cause for trading and cloud mining i has not had a lot of capital

all wrong!
faucets are never a good source of bitcoin even for newbies. any person in the world in any country no matter where it is can earn a lot more than faucets with the time they waste on claiming them if they use the smallest job in the real world. and on top of that you are filling your wallet with lots of small inputs called dust which you have to pay a big ass fee for spending them.

also gambling is not a source for earning bitcoin, you have to have bitcoin to gamble and there is always risks when you do because it is based on luck.

and i think there is no need to even talk about cloudmining when they are all scams.
1275  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will the Bitcoin price ever drop back down to $500? on: December 03, 2016, 02:17:19 PM
Do any of you that follow the price of Bitcoin closely think that the price will ever drop back down to $500 or something close to it? And why or why not?

no because of one simple reason:
price is $760 right now and lots of people have missed the chance to buy and are dying to get in, now imagine price going down to $710 lots of people are lining up with money in hand to buy bitcoin.
it goes to $690 even move people are lining up and at some point it is no longer possible to lower.

it is called resistance.
1276  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can gambling be profitable in long term ? on: December 03, 2016, 02:12:12 PM
Eh, no.  You all know very well that the way casinos (or any place that lets you bet) are set up, the longer you play the more you lose.  It's that simple.  You might strike it rich with luck, but if you stay at the table long enough your winnings will go to ZERO.

Why people think they can gamble as a career is beyond me.

I guess they are becoming comfortable when they are able to experience the taste of some winnings with gambling.

And they tend to think that gambling will be the best way to be a source of their income and good in the long run.

But just all we know that it is not really the best way for many failed with it and shares their experiences that gambling is not profitable in the long run.

That's a false statement, no casinos are built in a way where your chances to win decrease the longer you play.

They are built in a way where each round is unique and not connected to the previous one, that's the random factor.

However, there is always an edge to the house to make sure it does not go broke, but simply saying "you'll lose the longer you play" is a lie.

i think he is only talking about the house edge and the effect that can have on large numbers of bets. for example when you make 10 bets with 49% odds you may have 8 wins and 2 losses (or vice versa) because the numbers are small and the chances are random but when you have 100,000 bets you will surely have 49K win and 51K loss hence the less profitability of what he is talking about.
1277  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: if you watch a sports game that you bet? on: December 03, 2016, 02:07:36 PM
Do you watch a team that you bet while playing? or you better not watch for fear of later when the team. if I personally see the team but if the team is starting to look to lose I will turn off my television

if i have time i will make sure to watch the matches because i enjoy the suspense that i get from not knowing the result.

think of it this way, when you like a sports match and enjoy watching the game enthusiastically you would do it with 10 times more excitement if you have also money on the line.
1278  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin Gambling Investments on: December 02, 2016, 03:43:53 PM
So what is the conclusion now? Only 2 credible and currently profitable gambling websites to invest? That s not even close to sufficiency. Soon they ll be saturated and no investment needed. Crypto economy s been slowly outgrowing itself.

you should use the data that has been provided in this topic to make a decision for yourself, it really shows how volatile this type of investment can be and you can already see the risks in all of the investments so far.

and besides this market will never be full. specially with the new bitcoin price rise there will be newer sites and even newer businesses (other than gambling) coming along wanting to have a piece of the profit.
1279  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: In what gambling games are you good at? on: December 02, 2016, 03:37:21 PM
Sometimes I think I can predict which team will win and even with what score, but I never placed a bet on it yet. So far I tried only dice games where I lose constantly. So I guess there is no gambling game I'm good at at the moment.

Im actually not good at any game but I then look for the easy way out by going for sport gambling. With that, I get the hard decisions to be made by me by creating the odds on ground then I choose based on what I know or I have heard about the team sometimes I read tipster thread on the forum in the case of leagues that I havent heard anything about and sometimes I win, other times I lose. No hard feelings.

one good thing about sports betting is that you don't really need any skills but only information for playing it. and this kind of information is what people usually have because we have all been watching so many different sports and we are already fan of some sports and some teams.

besides there are tipsters that can help us make the decision on betting on which team and what odds.
1280  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC at $1,000 by Christmas? on: December 02, 2016, 03:30:48 PM
i think we have to start to be satisfied with $800 and possibly another jump rope play for bitcoin over this price with another +$20 fluctuation.

i am surprised though to see 770+ price today. because it is mostly out of nowhere for me, there is no news going on that can be associated with this rise.
