coinbase announced yesterday that they are reviewing adding 30 new currencies (see here : https://news.bitcoin.com/coinbase-opens-the-door-to-more-than-30-new-cryptocurrencies/ ). Among the 30 being considered are "poet" ( https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/poet/ ) and "bread" ( https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bread/ ). those two coins are pretty small - at the time of writing, poet has a price of $.004 and a 24h volume of 390K; bread has a price of $0.19 and a 24h volume of 159K. by contrast, BTX has a price of $0.26 and a 24h volume of 155K. I think this makes us comparable to both of them.

applying to be listed is currently FREE but coinbase says that "Initially there will be no application fee. Depending on the volume of submissions, we reserve the right to impose an application fee in the future" ( https://blog.coinbase.com/new-asset-listing-process-a83ef296a0f3 ). if we want to apply to this we should act quickly. I assume someone from the team would need to do this and that I couldn't just do it myself.

according to their criteria for consideration ( https://listing.coinbase.com/policy#coinbase-mission-values ) there are some in which I think we have a particularly good claim, and others not so much. particularly good claims : "Demonstrable record of responding to and improving the code after a disclosure of vulnerability". we can easily point to our very fast response to CVE-2018-17144 after only a few days of its disclosure, documented here : https://bitcore.cc/ann-bitcore-new-core-0-15-2-0/ ; "There are examples of real-world implementation" - we have paytomat, kamoney, cryptonaut, luckygames.io, games4.coins, as listed here : https://bitcore.cc/resources/eco-system-2/ (note we need to remove living room of satoshi from that web page); "The asset is a separate blockchain" ; and "Best efforts by the team to allow a fair distribution of tokens". we emphasize that heavily in sections 2.2.5 and 2.3 (pg. 8-9) of the white paper : https://bitcore.cc/introduction/white-paper/ . there are other criteria that we match, but those are the ones that immediately struck me as giving us an edge in acceptance. The main criteria that struck me that we are weak in : liquidity. Hopefully that could be significantly improved, however, by addition to coinbase.

Do you agree with this guy? All I know is Mr. Draper is a billionaire, huge bitcoin bull and a venture capitalist.
I kinda agree with him when I look at the bitcoin inform of investment vehicle for long-term, not just hit and run kind of investment.

It has been there since July , Since then I ping them 3 times ... and answer is still no , we did not consider adding this coin yet.  No optimism with Freiexchange .
But at least they respond ..

Wenn man diese Variante wählt, könnte man jedenfalls ein gutes Marketing darauf abstimmen. Damit könnte man sich von den bisherigen Vorwürfen, mit denen sich ICOs immer (teilweise zurecht) umgeben sehen, abgrenzen und das in der Marketing-Strategie gut nutzen. Ein ICO, bei dem man ein sehr geringes Risiko hat, würde bestimmt bei vielen Interessenten gut ankommen und zusätzliche Investitionen fördern. Die Menge an Geld, die durch Unzufriedenheit wieder abgezogen wird, sollte normal nicht so hoch sein wie die Mehrmenge, die durch die Vorteile des neuen Modells zusätzlich eingenommen wird.

Und wenn sich mehr Projekte daran orientieren, dürften die verbliebenen mit dem alten Konzept sehr große Probleme bekommen, da es dann zunehmend so aussehen würde, als hätten sie etwas zu verbergen.

I agree which is the main reason of why I think the adoption of bitcoin and cryptocurrencies is going to take longer than expected, the technology is so innovative that many old people do not understand it and they do not want to do it, this is something similar to what happens now with people that refuse to use computers, it is something completely foreign to them and they do not get it, so we will need the current generation of young people to get older so we can access the older demographic and those that are young as well in the future.

Hi nicht viel mehr als in der Coin Info steht , so wie es aussieht gab es einige Deposit probleme und die Wallet Devs sind noch am prüfen !

Was natürlich dazu kommt ist das Cryptopia einen Infastruktur wechsel vollzogen hat und viele Wallets auf andere Server verschoben wurden und die wallet Devs immer noch daran arbeiten !
Auserdem das sag ich jetzt nur hier sind die alten eigentümer die Cryptopia entworfen haben wieder zurück an Bord und arbeiten an neuen sachen bzw arbeiten an den Sachen was in der vergangenheit falsch gemacht wurde , deswegen auch die grosse ausputz Aktion von Wallets , sobald neue Infos verfügbar sind und ich diese posten darf werde ich das hier tun und so schnell wie möglich euch Informieren !
