2421  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you like best about Cryptocurrency? on: August 26, 2018, 12:55:43 PM
Why cryotocurrency is useful?
What do you like best about cryotocurrency?
What makes cryotocurrency better then fiat?

The best thing about Crypto Currencys for me is that i can send money worldwide without a bank or other intermediary. This goes at any time of the day or weekday. Completely independent of others. For me, this is still one of the main reasons why i use Crypto Currencys and will continue to use it. I see not only the financial prosperity that Crypto Currencys brings, but the real benefit over fiat money.  Wink

Smiley

2424  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: There are too many ICO, why? on: August 24, 2018, 04:54:43 PM
a lot of them are scams and they think it's a really easy way to get a lot of money.

I'm afraid I can only agree with you. At the moment almost 90% of all ICOs are scam and that's really annoying. I can never to be 100% sure whether it is a serious ICO or once again a scam. And all this only because all the scam bags want to make more and more money. I am actually against KYC and regulation in the crypto area, but in the area of ICOs i am clearly in favour. Somehow it can't go on like this forever. Unfortunately you can also drive people out of the crypto area and that's bad for all of us.  Roll Eyes
2425  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum is just Shitcoin, coming down 100 dollars. What do people think of this on: August 23, 2018, 04:02:51 PM
This morning I read the news in https://www.tapchibitcoin.vn with CEO Bitmex saying, Arthur Hayes says Ethereum is just Shitcoin, coming down $ 100. The truth or lies of Bitmex CEO, Arthur Hayes on ETH?

By the way, you can read such statements over and over again, even about Bitcoin. In this statement Ethereum is badly done this time. That's nothing new. I don't really think that the price of Ethereum will fall so far, because this altcoin has a lot of support. It can happen, but that doesn't mean that it will really happen. So you shouldn't always take statements like that first and see what the reality looks like. For me, this is another attempt to drive the price down and not a news.  Wink
2426  Economy / Economics / Re: Stop worrying about how much energy bitcoin uses on: August 23, 2018, 03:46:22 PM
We as supporters of bitcoin already know that it's totally a false allegation over bitcoin that it consumed the highest electrical energy for mining operations.Critics just want to target bitcoin by any means. Also even if it consumed higher energy, its not related to coal and mostly hydro electric power.

Such accusations are really trying to undermine Bitcoins reputation. Many of my friends have asked me if these accusations are true. Luckily I could tell them again and again that such statements about Bitcoin are not true. Printing and producing fiat money consumes more electricity worldwide than Bitcoin. The process alone of melting down metals and thus minting coins consumes a large amount of electricity. People don't think about that. So I can refute the statement that Bitcoin is a power guzzler.  Smiley
2427  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 52 Times Bitcoin Died 2010 - 2018 (infographic) on: August 22, 2018, 12:59:19 PM
Here's an infographic that shows 52 ways Bitcoin died in 2010 – 2018. Funnily it seems that the same news and doomsday talks seem to continue from year to year and Bitcoin just goes on. And also, when the course dips, more and more these articles pop up. When the course is going up, there seems to be not so much doomsday articles. Anyway here it is:

Sorry couldn't paste it here because don't have enough "karma"...

I can only confirm this infographic and the topic. So many times I've had to read that Bitcoin is dead and it's over. It's getting really boring. Bitcoin is still alive and getting bigger and better known and this will certainly continue for the next few years. But I'm sure we'll continue to hear people say Bitcoin is dead. We will certainly get the 100 Bitcoin deaths full in the next few years.  Cheesy
2428  Other / Meta / Re: Community generated suggestions to improve the forum (+ eventual voting on them) on: August 22, 2018, 12:14:47 PM
I also have a small suggestion what could be improved in the forum. When a post is deleted in a self-moderated topic, you get a message, but in the message are no information about the thread in which the post was deleted. It would be good to know from which thread the message was deleted. A link to it would be great, from which thread the message was deleted. Otherwise you never know from which thread what was deleted and especially with old post, it's hard to know which post it was.   Smiley
2429  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The era of bounty hunter comes to an edd? on: August 22, 2018, 11:50:53 AM
Many people live there life as a bounty hunter. They were making some good money by just doing bounty campaigns. But good days are coming to an end. Now almost 80% campaign is scamming. They are not paying a single coin. So the golden days of bounty hunters are coming to an end  Sad
What do you think?

There will certainly be bounty campaigns for a long time to come, but it is getting harder and harder to find a good one. The number of scam bountys seems to have risen a lot, unfortunately. This is a real problem, but it does not mean there will be no more bounty campaigns soon. Of course I can not say what is in a year or two, but I'm sure there'll be bountys for a long time. If they disappear someday, you should see the bright side. Then there is finally less spam here in the forum and that would be a big plus and then it will be easier to find good posts here.   Wink
2430  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Received First Bounty Rewards on: August 21, 2018, 02:27:48 PM
Hello guys I just received my first bounty rewards which is dacc tokens worth 10$ I'm happy today. Share your experience of first bounty rewards too.

Edit: I'm happy because I received my first reward not for that 10$. I know 10$ is littile amount still I'm happy because this is my first bounty reward.

If you continue you can earn much more than 10$. But anyway, also congratulations on your first bounty payout. I can still remember mine. I was also very happy, even if the tokens were not worth much. I know, it's sometimes a tedious way to find a good bounty, but keep going and you'll find it too. Then you will be able to earn more.  Wink

Also noch recht human. Wink
Smiley

Rewards:
10+ Posts/Comments Created in any Category = 0.05 ETH
100+ Posts/Comments Created in any Category = 1 ETH
1000+ Posts/Comments Created in any Category = 10 ETH

This was airdrop no. 123 and not no. 122, just as a small note. In itself it does not change anything. But anyway, many thanks for that to the BitSend team.  Wink

2436  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto replacing fiat? on: August 20, 2018, 01:20:26 PM
It is not easy for crypto to pass fiat money, I think we will have to wait until 2020 for the cryo to completely replace the fiat money, to make the money match the material value of human.

Meanwhile, I think crypto will probably never be able to completely replace fiat money. Crypto will probably make up most of the transactions someday, but there will certainly be more and more opportunities like fiat money. Credit cards also can not replace the normal paper/fiat money and so could it be with crypto. But the next few years will show us how our money will continue.  Wink
2437  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Ripple be the game changer again? on: August 20, 2018, 12:56:29 PM
I am betting big on ripple. It could be the first crypto that could see mainstream adoption and that too on large scale. Ripple already has many partnerships and product which are in testing phase.

Why do people at Ripple only ever see their personal benefits and not what is really behind Ripple? We celebrated Bitcoin and other Cryptocoins for being a free blockchain and not centrally controlled. So for all that, what Ripple does not stand for. Therefore, I can not understand the whole hype around Ripple properly. So i dont hope Ripple is the first Cryptocurrency that reaches mainstream. Maybe that's just my opinion, but that's the way she is.  Smiley
2438  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Bitcoin not the choice of criminals anymore on: August 20, 2018, 12:30:06 PM
I understand this topic to mean that the good use of bitcoin outweighs the criminal intent because in the past, people who were using bitcoin were doing so to conceal their loots and illicit financial transactions. Of course such illicit transactions still persist and will continue but the number of people using it for better purpose keeps growing. Is just as laws have been made against drug dealing but they are still around the society.

That's how I understand it too. In itself, I find this news good, but for me personally, nothing changes. This has not been a reason for me why I should not use Bitcoin. I did not care about the fact that illegal things can be done with it, because I do not want to know how many illegal things are made with normal fiat money. Fiat money is also used every day for illegal matters worldwide. Nevertheless, I and many other people use it anyway. So i see it as no problem that bitcoin is also used for illegal activities.   Cool

2440  Other / Archival / Re: Do you believe Crypto Currency is changing the world? on: August 19, 2018, 12:38:46 PM
Crypto has already changed the lives of many people. For example, people from poor countries have the opportunity to earn money and feed their families.

I agree with you. Crypto has definitely changed my life and the lives of other people I personally know and also from many other people worldwide. It does not matter if they come from a poor or rich country. Not all people are rich in a rich countrys. Crypto will continue to change the lives of many people in the future and I am firmly convinced of that. We are just at the beginning of the changes worldwide. Many major changes will come with crypto in the next years.  Smiley
