2481  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will banks ever offer bitcoin deposits? on: August 06, 2018, 01:08:10 PM
We all know how risky bitcoin is. Let's imagine the most riskiest money deposit situation.
What do you think guys, will this moment ever come and banks decide to offer us Bitcoin deposits (e.g. fixed profit on 1 year deposit and etc).
This can be very, very profitable for banks if they make correct decisions.
P.S I don't mean freebitco.in's offer of holds on their wallet. I mean if official banks ever offer us this service.

Definitely banks will offer bitcoin deposit in the future because for sure they know what is the potential returns of bitcoin that could help their banking business.

I am also pretty sure that in the future also banks will offer to accept Bitcoin deposits. It is only a matter of time before it will happen. But even if that's possible, I'd rather keep my Bitcoins in cold storage and not give any bank control over it. I would also advise all other people. Keep control of your coins and do not give them to any bank, if it is not necessary.  Wink

2483  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum is the King of ICO, Do you agree? on: August 05, 2018, 01:39:48 PM
If Bitcoin is king of cryprocurrency, then Ethereum is the king of all ICOs ,do you agree?  Stella, neo and no other blockchain has hosted ICO than Ethereum.

The title King of ICO has Ethereum earned. On no other blockchain are more ICOs performed. I'm curious if eventually comes a coin that tries take this title from Ethereum.  Cheesy
2484  Economy / Economics / Re: How did Crypto help you out? on: August 05, 2018, 01:27:58 PM
This question is especially for those who have been into crypto for a long time. How did cryptocurrency help you, most specifically financially? Did you earn more? Gain more investment? I do have a friend who wants to get into crypto but he does not have a lot of savings in his bank account or any major investment. I told him to save more before getting into crypto because they still have mortgage and car loan to pay. Do you think crypto will help him out to?

I can only speak for myself, but crypto has helped me a lot financially. Although I invested very early, but there has not been a day that I have regretted. Without crypto I would certainly go much worse. I still think investing is still worth it, but you can never be sure. In any case, you should invest in a safe coin like Bitcoin and never more than you can handle to lose. And buy cheap. Not in a hype! Smiley
2485  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about current bounties, airdrops and contests on: August 05, 2018, 12:58:47 PM
So, I was wondering if anyone has an opinion on current bounties and airdrop as an element to help projects. I have a thought that it does not help to attract real users or investors who would invest to a startups that want to raise money through token sale. But in case of existing projects that already work with crypto and have their own coin on exchanges is a different story. What do you think about using bounty or contest for a project that is working and have its coin on exchanges?

Why should i not advertise such a project? I prefer to do advertising for a project in which the coin already exists on exchanges. In the current case Bitcore. If I make advertise for a ICO where I do not know afterwards whether the token is worth something that I get as payment, i don't feel comfortable. At least I know what I get. I find that somehow better.  Wink

2487  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should we Re-Brand Bitcoin? on: August 03, 2018, 11:08:59 AM
No i think its no! because bitcoin was already change many thing in our world and you could use it for many purposes like being alternative bank or stocking your money with some gaining or profit.

Bitcoin is really very popular in the world and many people believe it for it name. I don't think if we change the name of Bitcoin, something will change.

That is also my opinion on the theme. I do not think that it would change anything to positive. Rather, I think it would even be a disadvantage if you were to rename Bitcoin. The name Bitcoin is already well known and stands for crypto currencys. In addition, Bitcoin forks like BitcoinCash could say that they are the real Bitcoin, if the real Bitcoin no longer bears the name Bitcoin.  Wink

Sky Mining CEO Disappears With $35 Million, Claims Medical Issues
-snip-

I've never heard of good cloud mining services and Sky mining seems join in there. I do not understand why people fall for it again and again. Only the provider earns in cloud mining. Even if the ceo did not disappears with the money, cloud mining is usually not profitable for the end user.  Sad
2489  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why so many inactive participants in bounties campaign. on: August 03, 2018, 10:12:01 AM
Sometimes I  get confused, I  want to know why the people fill in for a particular bounties campaign and they don't participate.
Example :  A facebook campaign spreed sheet list is up to 1200, but you notice not up to 500 active participant.
Does it mean that this other  inactive 700 still gets a reward?

There are many different reasons why someone is not active in a bounty campaign. Reasons are e.g. no time, no desire, trust in the project lost, bitcointalk ban, dead, accident and so on. As you can see, there are many reasons why people are not active. There is something like that in every bounty campaign.  Smiley
2490  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: any signature bounty for newbies? on: August 03, 2018, 09:55:50 AM
Instead of trying to get into a bounty campaign as a newbie, it's better to spend the first few weeks learning all about crypto. Only if you are junior member and have some experience, you should first look for a bounty campaign. First, you should learn all about ICOs and ICO/bounty scams. Also, almost all bounty campaigns that accepted newbies are end in a scam. My advice is therefore, rather wait until you are junior member and you can recognize a scam.  Wink
2491  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Kim Kardashian promoting Bitcoin on instagram. During Poker Game. on: August 02, 2018, 03:34:38 PM
I can't see this picture on Kim Kardashian stories. Maybe she posted on my day stories? However, if this news is true then it is not good for us at all. Because By seeing her, many fans of her will come into the crypto platform. Who even don't know what is cryptocurrency. Nowadays, people are coming in the crypto platform to earn money. Do you think it is good for us? No, Rather when bitcoin price goes down, they will start a panic, Fudd! Cryptocurrency is not only for making money!

It's still on there 4 hours ago. https://www.instagram.com/stories/kimkardashian/

I'm really not a fan of Kim Kandashian, but that makes her somehow sympathetic. I did not know until now that she supports Bitcoin. She really makes a good thing.  Cool
2492  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: The European Parliament Says Digital Currencies Can Be Used as Money on: August 02, 2018, 03:17:22 PM

This statement will certainly not change the world, but nevertheless it is a positive signal for crypto. Europe seems to be very open to crypto and they see the blockchain as a tool of the future. I like that and I hope it stays that way.  Smiley
2493  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] iQCash | A new paradigm: POHW | Solve iQ Puzzles -> Earn iQCash on: August 02, 2018, 03:03:53 PM
If you've been waiting for the use-case of iQCash, please read the proposal for the iQ+ functionality here:

Any comments/feedback/suggestions would be of interest.

Everything sounds very interesting. Maybe it would be good if you can also do competitions that involve more than 3 winners. That would be my suggestion.  Smiley
2494  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Why I don't Support KYC in cryptocurrency as it is on: August 02, 2018, 02:24:38 PM
I am going to be very honest here with you guys. I know some of you may antagonise or kick against my view. But I will still speak the truth as it is.

My major reason centered on the fact that there is no regulation for cryptocurrencies.
How can someone somewhere in the name of ICO project team, whom you don't even know, some without a verifiable office address, whose presence is just online and the internet, demand your sensitive information including your international passport, government issued ID, proof of your residential address, and other personal information or documents?
What if this person is just a scammer? What if this person works for maybe a terrorist organization who is just looking for real biodata or identities? What if this person is just a criminal looking for ways to fake his own identity and take upon yours or anyone else? What if your verified photograph (face) matching your identity is used in pornography or nudity? What if the data is accidentally leaked? My questions go on and on.

Remember, the cryptocurrency as it is currently has no regulation, as such there is no regulatory body or authority you can petition your grievances or seek redress should any of the aforementioned incidences happens to you as a result of the information you have forwarded. The ICO project team whom you sent your details can as well disappear without trace.

Therefore, as long as there is no Cryptocurrency Regulation, then there should be NO KYC.

Among other things, those are reasons why I am against KYC too. You just do not know what happens to the data you give away. I just do not feel like it and do not participate in anything that KYC demands. I can not understand the reasons why you have to make KYC. Whenever I open a store, I do not have to have the data of every customer who buys something from me. So why in the crypto world? Just because nothing is regulated, I do not see it, that I should give my data. As long as I am in the crypto world, anonymity was a plus for crypto, which is now being lifted with KYC.  Angry
2495  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [Good news] U.S. central bank isn’t going to regulate Bitcoin & other crypto. on: August 01, 2018, 12:37:53 PM
During long time we have seen a rumor that Bitcoin will be regulated by U.S central bank. But it's long time has gone. And Bitcoin was also stay long time on bearish. Finally Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell made it clear that, they aren't looking for regulate cryptocurrency. I believe this is the one of great point for become bulls on crypto market. So almost we can expect that very soon we can see bulls run. On the other hand may we will see some more possitive news about Bitcoin.

News source : https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2018-07-18/powell-says-cryptocurrencies-aren-t-big-enough-to-pose-a-threat

I am pleased about this message. A regulation by U.S central bank would not be good for the free bitcoin market. They should rather regulate the ICO market. The ICO market is flooded with scammers. But anyway, after all, they leave Bitcoin alone and let him and the market grow. Think it's the best thing I have heard the last few days about Bitcoin.  Smiley
2496  Economy / Economics / Re: hackers becoming smarter than exchanges? on: August 01, 2018, 12:21:27 PM
Blackhat hackers are becoming smarter, they can easily break through the layers of security that programmers write to protect their bitcoin, but with their intelligence to attack the back door to serve. for theft, profit for yourself.

The whole time exchanges were already hacked. This is not very new, but always a big problem for exchanges. No exchange is 100% safe. There will always be new ways to hack such pages. Therefore, my constant advice, no longer leave coins there as necessary.  Wink

2498  Economy / Economics / Re: Mistakes That Make You Poor Poor In Cryptocurrency on: July 30, 2018, 01:59:20 PM
With cryptocurrency, you have to be careful with any fraud and theft. and usually many people who are caught in the losses in the world of crypto is:
1. Not Backup Key
2. Electricity Billing Mining More
3. Lunes In Phishing Sites
4. Buy Coin With Rumors
5. Create a weak password
6. Steal With Stealth ICO

With cryptocurrency, no bank or other institution or regulation will protect you in the event of a loss.

I have another point for your list. 7. Buying asic mining hardware and never become ROI. I know some people who have lost their money through something like that.  Angry
2499  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still believe in bounties and Cryptocurrency? on: July 30, 2018, 01:40:29 PM
There's alot of people move out from Cryptocurrency some are for their loses and without experience, some are doing for in bounty campaigns but still not get result so I want to know behalf of that reason I have mention is correct. What do you think?

These are all good reasons to leave the crypto world, but people are making a mistake. Crypto has changed my life for the better. I survived the bad times and was rewarded for it. I can only advise anyone else not to leave the crypto world. So far, good times have come again and again. But the people who are only here because of bounty campaigns, can go quietly. Everyone else should stay and not give up hope.  Smiley
