2241  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Well, you put your money in your luna if it gets forked? on: June 15, 2022, 05:43:22 PM
I bought a few of that coin recently and since then the market has been dropping I don't know why but am sure the Bitcoin impact is on most altcoins and since Luna is a troubled project recently I will advise we stay off the coun for now until they get the stability back.
Even Bitcoin market didnt crashed which Luna or even it gets forked wont really be getting on the same support on what just like happened on Luna main coin yet considering on how devastating
thing happened for this project and now they have that version 2 but people wont really be fooled on the second time around. There might be some engagers but doesnt mean that they
do trust up Luna owners for second time around. They could snip out  something with those volatility and able to make profits but doesnt intend to hold
it for too long since they do know its potential which is totally shit.
2242  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Japanese man gambled away a huge Covid-19 relief funds mistakenly sent to him on: June 14, 2022, 11:15:52 PM

now, I have a question, do you think the man is entirely at fault or someone should also be responsible?
Bank or the sender of those funds would also be accountable for such mistake but its really just too dumb for a certain person who do received funds accidentally and make use of it to gamble even if its not his money.

Both parties does have mistakes but the ones which are greater is the man who do spent out those funds without any permission or not totally his money.
Its a relief funds should really be used by those people on need and you are really that too numb if you do waste up those money for your own leisure which is something inhuman.
2243  Economy / Economics / Re: From Sideways to Downhill on: June 14, 2022, 10:46:07 PM
Apparently, the sideways market broke down not out. Are we in a "now what" situation? Or do you think this is as far down as it goes? Even the week chart looks bad for BTC. Any suggestions what to do?
The downward movement that we are seeing is without a doubt unexpected but it is not outside of the many different scenarios that we should have thought to be possible, so the situation should not be that surprising, and about what to do, that is a decision which is extremely personal and it depends on too may factors to give a standard answer, personally I am still holding and I have even bought some bitcoin with my fiat available, but I can understand if some other people cannot really afford to do something like this during the current crash.
Market is always;

1. Unpredictable
2. Speculative
3. Random movement
4. Volatile

These are the main behavior or quality of this market specially Bitcoin or in overall crypto space.
You wont know on where it would be heading or going.

Sideways to pump or sideways to dump or moving sideways straight line.It cant be known thats why
we do neither end up on profitable or losing.
2244  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do You Think Its One Too Many on: June 14, 2022, 09:57:45 PM
I will not mention any particular gambling casinos, but what are your thought if the casino or casinos with good feedback from the community, but with one unresolved scam accusation but from all angles, the accusation is legit with all the screenshots, transaction hash email conversation are provided by the complainant lets say he is not allowed to withdraw his earnings amounting to $100k but from all angles the accusation is valid, don't you think with thousand good feedback, its enough for the casino to lose his reputation with one legit accusation.
A legitimate accusation against any service will always have an effect, as an example sometimes I buy stuff from amazon and while it is impossible to find a product with only positive reviews, if one of the reviews which is negative has some solid ground then I will think twice before buying the product, and most likely something similar will happen to a casino, after all if you can find a casino that is clean from such legitimate accusations and you compare it to a casino with a few small but legitimate accusations, then it would not be rare at all for people to prefer the former rather than the latter.
Im really getting on this one or related into my actions too in speaking with online shopping.Even with having lots of positive feedbacks and on the time you do read up
several negative ones then you would really be having that impression that it might not really that good or something that would be putting you in doubt which is something
a very common behavior or mindset for some people on which it would be in result on hesitating on doing further action. Its true that any negative specially if its
proven or does have solid evidence could really put up a reputable casino into some bad state.
2245  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season - Finals on: June 14, 2022, 09:29:25 PM
I guess if ever the Celtics is going to lose to the Warriors, there's nothing to be ashamed of. In fact, they could hardened everyone, including the coaching staff. In this season, it was the Bucks (defending champs) and the Nets who are the favored to enter the finals and win. But after the all star break, Celtics enjoyed one of their best runs and now they are in the finals. They have to win game 6 at their home to keep their chances alive. But if not then the Warriors the champion again. And for the record, they didn't lose to anyone, it's that Durant left and then Thompson and Curry and Green got injured. Now that they are healthy again, they have another chance to win the championship for this season.
Of course there is no shame in it, but there are teams that goes to finals all the time, and there are ones that barely get a chance, Celtics is not one that has a chance to go there all the time. Their stars are young, but they may fail to get there again and again.

This is why I fear that Celtics may not repeat this finals success, so if they want to win one ,it is now or it may not be ever again. I am not saying that there is a zero chance they would make it to finals again, but it would be very difficult, so why risk it when you can do it now? Just win 2 more games and you are done, then you can just relax, sit back, and enjoy the rest of your career.
Even if they do have that kind of intent or plan in mind but this isnt something that cant really be done easily on against a Champion caliber type of team that they are facing.
We know that Roster does change which means that getting your team into finals is something that cant really be done easily which same as you said but i dont really believe
that they arent doing their best.It is really just we do see that there's always a better team than on yours but it would really be that a bad idea if you do lose focus
just because the other team is strong.
2246  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't sell your precious BTC to the whales! on: June 14, 2022, 08:52:03 PM
We've been here before, you are just making the whales richer, selling your precious BTC for pennies (crappy fiat). The storm will pass, hodl, or try to accumulate even more BTC, it's a great time to buy for cheap. We will make it this time too. Even if BTC goes down to $15,000 nothing is forever. Remember $20,000 down to $3,000? Been through that storm too. Remember, 1 BTC = 1 BTC. To the Moon!
Although I know all this, it's nice to read this particular text and many others in this thread. I myself wasn't that smart in times when BTC went from $20k to $3k. I thought it could go to $200-$300 or something, and I cashed out a lot at $3k+. I mean, I needed the money, it wasn't like cashing out and then keeping a pile of USD in the closet, no, I really needed the money back then, but, idk, maybe I'd better borrow the money and paid back when BTC was $60+?
It is understandable, there are a lot of people who didn't know how bitcoin could recover during that period, plus it was only the second time we had a big fall, first was from 1.4k to 100-150 range, and the second came when it was 20k to 3k range, and the first one didn't had many people, so majority of the crypto had their first big crash in 2017, but we are in 2022 right now and we know that it could recover and how it does.

So right now, it is a bit harder for people to think that it will never recover, there are people who sell even today, that think it will recover, but they just want to sell now and buy cheaper later on, so there are more people who know it will recover.
For those who do lack knowledge and awareness on past market events then they are the main ones who do panic sell and freaks out whenever they do see the market declines unlike into those people
who had been aware into those past events where they had already presume or anticipate about recovery which is something true and could really happen. The main question is on when it would happen?
Dont mind about recovery first but rather minding about on not to sell but rather accumulate as much as you good. These prices are indeed low or bargain where chances or situations or events
like this doesnt really come often with those high percentage drops.
2247  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How long do you think the market will take to recover? on: June 14, 2022, 08:19:50 PM
Cryptocurrency is currently collapsing. And the total crypto market cap is now less than $1 trillion.

The market is red, and every cryptocurrency is crashing. Is it better to wait for a further drop in Bitcoin and Ethereum, or would DCA be better?

What will happen next?

How long do you think the market will take to recover?
Recovery talks would be always a speculative ones always yet we know that this market is totally unpredictable which it could neither last for months or years depending on the market behavior
made out by community or other big players in the market but one things for sure that recovery or u-turn of price would really be inevitable. We cant really just see
a market on would really be having that bearish state or just too low forever. We know that there's really a bear market, we cant really just see a market to have a continous rise up.
Therefore, once you do step your foot into this market then you should make yourself that aware.
2248  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Rakeback and promotions for limited time on: June 13, 2022, 11:50:58 PM
Some casinos give gamblers the opportunity to earn extra satoshis by rewarding them a small percentage of the total sum of money gamblers have wagered on the platform. It's a kind of cashback feature which greatly varifies in values from one casino to another and depending the game (poker offers the highest rakeback percentages I've seen). Besides this feature, from times to times, special promotions with similar rules and benefits to players may appear aiming to raise the popularity of the website, and incentivizing people to spend more time and money at the casino.

Do you take advantage of these features or do you think they don't worth? Do you have any strategies to play and increase your profit through rakeback or do you just ignore it? By your experience, have rakeback ever been profitable for you?

Any personal experiences you can share are appreciated!
For me, its never bad to take advantage if there are rakeback or cashback promoted by some casinos but its certainly based on the gambler's desire itself. Honestly, sometimes i get tempted to it but i realized its not me profiting in the end but only the casino itself. So i started not to grab these promotion and just gamble based on my set amount. That way, i have minimized my losses as i also gamble not only for money but more on for entertainment. The fact that i'm entertained, that is already something profitable for me.
Every person does have its own desire which means whether of the two they would really be minding about promotions because this do add up some thrill
into their game play which they are anticipating something in return even though not that big but something that they could get out of their total wager.
Promotions are for marketing matters which had been said its really just normal or in default because in every business it does really require
this stuff because site wont really be that popular if you wont really make out some marketing and promotions.
2249  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it possible for Traditional Banks to cooperate with Crypto on: June 13, 2022, 10:48:58 PM
Both would co-exist with each other but there's no way that traditional banks would be adopting or integrating or cooperating with crypto even if they do tend to plan with such thing but we know that
crypto is decentralized in most projects that is existing. There's no way that they could really be having that full control which simply implies that it would really be totally opposing their overall
preference in terms of centralization thats why its not surprising that they do really always made out some counter move towards crypto if they do have the chance.
So dont expect that everything would goes well in between the two.
2250  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does bitcoin dump have any impact on gamblers ? on: June 13, 2022, 09:50:14 PM
well this question is very serious and even my head has been going crazy because of it, for example in my case, there are times when I make bets and I get 50$, when the price of LTC (I hate altcoins but at stake I prefer to make bets with LTC because the minimum withdrawal amount and the withdrawal fee amount are very small values so it pays a lot to use LTC to place bets ) but back to what I was saying, when you have 15$ in the account and the price of LTC is at 50 $ for example and drops to 44$ so my 50$ in LTC becomes just 44$ in LTC i.e. I get losses of 6$ even though I haven't made any bets. every time the market starts to fall? and a nightmare for anyone who funds in altcoins or even bitcoin in casinos

That's one of the downsides of betting in a Cryptocurrency based casino but if you will look on the positive side there's also an advantage and that is when you win when the market is just pumping up, it's like hitting a bird with one stone you win then when you withdraw the value has increased by a small percentage, but these things do not matter if you are playing to have fun, it only matters if you win and the market is dipping.
You would be mindful on the time you had withdrawn and once those funds hits or credits into your own wallet and then the price had decline this is the only time you would really be worrying because you are losing
whether on big or small percentage basing on the market condition but its true that majority wont really be minding or bothering theirselves whenever they do gamble because before they had deposit
then they already prepared for the worst which we know that luck isnt something that you could really get or influenced. Play on the amount which you can afford to lose
and dont mind about investment aspects.
2251  Economy / Economics / Re: Stable coin can solve poverty on: June 13, 2022, 08:51:00 PM
I think stable coins are not the best solution for solve the poverty, the stable value of coins will not increase as in decentralization, so that the decentralization of coins is more realistic for solve the poverty, as did El Savador, Panama and several other countries that are currently open tender for legalization Bitcoin is a very smart solution.
Me too - I don't think that this will do any service to the community - because in my country 30% of the population do not have smartphones. And 20% of the population do not have internet connection. 50% people live below the poverty line. So what do you think the coins would be beneficial to my country to solve poverty problems.

A stablecoin would give 80% of your country access to digital dollars. Digital dollars may be better than your country's own currency, and may give you better access to trade and financial services. A stablecoin won't solve poverty, but it could improve the lives of some people.
People should see the other way around and we know that Poverty is a global problem that had been tried to be resolved overall the century but still not able to solve it out
thats why its irrelevant that you would really be expecting for a stable coin to solve poverty is something out of context or connection.
Its true that it could improve  the lives of some people but only to those who do know on how to play out in the market and this is something
needing some effort for you to do so.
2252  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo vs Golovkin 3 (September 17) on: June 13, 2022, 07:59:32 PM
It's easier for him to retire if he loses the fight because if he wins, it would open more opportunities for him to have big fights and that means a big payday for him, unless, he will think of his legacy and will retire with a pride, like what Mayweather and Marquez did. In the end, it still depends on the decision of GGG, he know his limit and he knows what he likes to achieve in life, so let's enjoy the trilogy as we have been asking for it.

If he will beat Canelo on this one, I am sure, he may not think of retiring yet. But who will be his next opponent other than Canelo again? So yes, this will be interesting how this match will pan out. But in this trilogy, I believe, Canelo will win. As he is coming from a loss, he has the motivation to train and prepare hard for this fight. This is to regain his status and popularity. I am thinking that bookies may slightly favor Canelo here. But let us see once bookies give their odds to this fight.
He might for another fight with any possible boxer if he can defeat Canelo in their trilogy, but the way I see it, win or lose, GGG will likely hang up his gloves because he is already stepping at age 40 and that's where most boxers retire because the exactly knew that they won't be that relevant in the game as their body has been through countless battles since they started their professional fights. Though the upper hand is on Canelo, I would love to see GGG winning in his last match before he retires, I don't want him to be a reason just to have Canelo his ace again.
When it comes to retirement then it would be definitely depending on a certain boxer whether they would be hanging out their gloves or not or would continue despite of the body condition that they do have which we could definitely say that it wont really be much effective when it comes on fighting younger opponents and same as yours im rooting for GGG to win on this one and not that overrated Canelo i would say.
GGG might be old but seeing with that recent fight against Murata then he could still land some good shot and its better to see he would win up against Canelo with this trilogy.
2253  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A season for stop loss on: June 13, 2022, 06:48:50 PM
Stop loss on last 2017-2018 bull run peak? Where it is around $20,000?
For me, I am really not alarmed with these recent dumps in the cryptocurrency market because it's not only the cryptocurrency market, it is most of the market especially non cryptocurrency market.
Lets put up some example.

S&P 500, Nasdaq 100 Drive in to 'Bear Market' Territory Ahead of the Fed
Everything in the Stock Market Is Being Sped Up Including the Crash

So its not really that crypto market does have that problem.Almost those traditional markets are suffering the  same thing.
Stop loss? its sensible for some investors but not for those who do long term hold.
2254  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sports Betting vs Online Casino Games: Which do you prefer? on: June 12, 2022, 11:47:51 PM
I have a friend who used to be so crazy about sports betting. He would bet on live sports and simulated leagues. On some days, his strategy will be to bet on a specific outcome within the game. While on other days, he'd bet on overall outcomes within the game. Sadly, he has lost more times than he won. One day, everything changed when he discovered online crypto casinos. It was as if a new world had opened up. He would spend most of his time on slots, dice, table, and games...

When I asked his reason for abandoning sports betting for online crypto casinos. He told me that aside from being able to receive payment in bitcoins, he loved the instant winnings that the online casinos offer. Secondly, online casino games are less stressful than sports betting.  He explained that sports betting requires knowledge of the sports and sophisticated strategies to win.  I cannot tell if he is better off in terms of winning in his online casino games than he did in sports betting. So between sports betting and online casino games, which do you prefer?
what do your friends think, it has happened to me before. to be honest, slots ruined me until I had a lot of debt, since then I stopped being crazy about playing slots and dice. right now I focus on betting on football, although it requires good analysis, it doesn't matter to me because my winning percentage when betting sports is bigger than when I play slots/dice.
If you do really come after for profits then you would definitely be sticking on a game on where you could see that you could really take advantage but if not and you are really just came
for entertainment then dice or slot games would do or suffice but if you do see that this is something stressful then you would really be coming after into those games which
you could really take advantage or something that you would win yet we know that winning could really boost up some emotion and does really give that good feeling.
2255  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: There too much information about btc on: June 12, 2022, 10:53:06 PM
take the positive side of the news circulating about crypto, if you only hear bad news about crypto you are the same as a news spreader, as we know bitcoin has a community so that whatever news is out there will not affect the users / owners of bitcoin itself, because they already understand the bad and the good side without having to hear the opinion of the news
asked of what's depreciates the values of cryptocurrency in the market, so actually what causes it's price stability or degradation is speculation of false information. So when bad information hit up every investors always take precautions because they don't want to lose coin in any form, so therefore negative information contributes immensely fifty percent of bitcoin fluctuating. But a situation where positive information arises via cryptocurrencies everyone will queue up to the market and the demand will be higher than the supply of cryptocurrency in the market, because everyone wants to make profit.

get a definite advantage. that is the main thing from us buying bitcoin itself, I think, it's true that we must be careful in investment matters and news circulating but that is a risk I think because we already know in the future if the price declines
Get yourself aware or expect about volatility yet this had been the most common or behavior of crypto or bitcoin itself which its moving price and on this way you could neither profit or lose money
thats why people should really be that good on making out decisions whenever the price goes up or down or simply with market volatility. If you do see people do take different taking or
decisions then it would really be varying on each person and about information and knowledge then it would be totally different to each other.
2256  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Minor Protection From Gambling on: June 12, 2022, 09:54:42 PM

I can attest that its also effective since we are using it too in our company every time there is a need for fast verification. However, even if that technology is very advanced and can eventually pinpoint if you are faking your identity or not, that does not guarantee that it can never be scammed by brilliant minds of minors. Technology should also know that. So for me, its really hard to control the minors these days not to gamble, unless if the parents will take the first step to protect their teens not to gamble.

At the home, the emphasis should not be on restrictions but on education about gambling, we have a saying that the more you restrict the more they will go for it because of curiosity, so parents should expose their children to gambling as a way to educate them but not to tempt them to gamble, children will listen if those telling them are their parents and about the truth of the subject.
Parenting would really be having a great role on making your children able to avoid those things but we know that not all children would be that obedient nor do follow everytime on what their parent tells them.
For government actions about blocking it then this is a very common step that they would really be making even though it might not really that 100% effective but at least they could lessen out
with those minor involvement with gambling which is something not really a bad move or action that they had made at least. The rest of these things would be talking about
on some parenting which would really differ on each parents on how they would really be doing or handling it.
2257  Economy / Economics / Re: Covid omicron version 2.0 monkeypox coming and markets on: June 12, 2022, 08:52:14 PM
Monkeypox does not have the same attributes as COVID, so you'll be mistaken if you think the markets will react the same way it did with COVID. It only began circulating because the media what's their hysteria driven headlines.

Most people are wise to the con that was COVID-19 lockdown strategies. Countries can't afford to lockdown nor do normal citizens believe the economy should be shut down for a disease that only effects a minority of people severely. Monkeypox seems to be spread through sexual contact as well, so lockdowns wouldn't even be appropriate.
The world world is in mess. Due to COVID - the things are not stable yet. Then came another war. The Russia and Ukraine. Then this monkeypox.
What has happened to this world. This is a serious chaos - now the after affect of COVID - people are facing so much inflations all around the world.
I'm a little worried about smallpox, in my country we only have 1 case cataloged yet, but we must have several infected walking the streets just like it was with covid. In addition, we are experiencing a new wave here in Brazil, the prices of several things are increasing every day and our president does not care about the crisis that is settling in after covid.
Based on some research on which this monkeypox had been long time existed. It is really just now that it do really get that such attention but i wont be surprised if this one would be solely be that getting much
in concern considering that we are almost in the end line of covid and not surprising that they would be pushing something that might really resulting into another series of dramas about
isolation and quarantine and other related things. Affecting the market? Yes, anything could affect specially on economic aspect but we know that crypto market isnt something
that do make out some guaranteed or significant effect out of those sentiments.
2258  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do You Think Its One Too Many on: June 12, 2022, 07:53:54 PM
Trust is something that could be easily break and it do takes years for you to built up but once its been broken and the community would really be that hesitant on trusting you once again. Therefore, resolving issues
as much as you could because even a single issue or unresolved case would might result into the demise of your business and that you would surely not letting for it to happen thats why
its important that you should resolved out possible issues because you cant really tell if that one unresolved case will really be a demise on your business
or it would be all over.

When did Satoshi guide a proper trading for you? lol,

Maybe op trying to appreciate he's good did Roll Eyes
This doesn't actually mean he is a trader but a mentor to bring such technology where people transaction online without any interference, So he could be right from my point of view. Now a mentor is not only someone who guide to become successful but also a person which the whole world celebrates and emulates so deep down Satoshi is really a mentor from what he has done so far till date.
Being a creator is totally different when we do talk about mentor-ship yet this do really involved those actual sharing and teaching on particular thing which it didnt really fit out on speaking about Satoshi.
So it wont really be just right if we do talk about these things about mentor yet its not really that relevant. In reality we arent really needing this because you could eventually learn for your own
without needing these things. It do really only requires proper time and proper effort on which you could really make yourself to be aware and how you would gonna deal
on the things you are tending to engage on.

We do have out own perceptions or treatment towards gambling whether you would be sticking out on intantaneous type of games or to those who do really require does need up some knowledge or analysis.
Some people do love the way on dealing with something which they do know that they could really be having some good chance or odds on winning and there are some people who
dont care about the odds as long they do know on what they are dealing  with or what do interest them then it would really be definitely be depending on someones preference.
In my case, i could do both depending on my mood or on the time i do get used to it.
