2241  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] AICOIN ICO:: Building Wealth Thru AI & the Power of the Blockchain on: July 09, 2017, 05:59:21 PM
AI is no match for natural human stupidity Smiley Wish you success, good luck with the project!

Surely it is but project has implemented AI very innovative which makes project very promising. None human elements can control and make best use of trading which is very volatile but implementing AI is great thought and I am hoping great response for ICO.
2242  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: I made a tool in my spare time to manage your crypto currency portfolio on: July 09, 2017, 05:18:40 PM
Looks like good tool. I haven't tried anything like this before. I have some questions,
  • Does this tool track my investments from sites like Bittrex, Livecoin, etc
  • Do I need to access these accounts via your tool to give tool access.
  • Is my personal data vulnerable to hack or at risk when I login account
2243  Economy / Economics / Re: How long could bitcoin last? on: July 09, 2017, 04:36:21 PM
As of right now, the bitcoin price is expected to keep going up in the next 20 years. But can it last that long? I believe it's possible. But can't it crash at a random time? Like the price going down hard.

Are you being sarcastic? How should price be related to existence of Bitcoin?
I seriously believe crypto community should understand nothing lies in price, what actually matter is "UTILITY". instead of growing number of exchanges, I wanna see growing number of Bitcoin merchants. So don't consider price to be the decisive factor of Bitcoin success or failure.
2244  Economy / Economics / Re: When to buy and sell bitcoin on: July 09, 2017, 04:15:41 PM
When is the best time to buy bitcoin and when do you think is the best time to sell?
I think its a great time to buy now but when is a good time to sell (if you have any idea please share)

Since its actually difficult to know the next thing that will happen to price with all certainty, I will say the best time to sell is at the point where you are convinced that you can live with whatever happen next until then, dont sell and the same thing goes with when its time to buy, just buy but do it intelligently because at the point of waiting maybe it will drop further, it might take a reverse turn and you ended up blaming if you didnt buy few minutes ago.

I think this might be a close answer so far. Its very uncertain here in this crypto world

While I think it is far from close answer. Don't mingle professional stuff like trading with intuitions, better use scientific techniques as suggested by  F. W. taylor known as 'work study'.
This involves studying the Bitcoin market for few days and then make conclusive judgement when to enter market by buying.

2246  Local / India / Re: Hey Indians, what your parents think of bitcoin and other altcoins? on: July 08, 2017, 05:35:14 PM
My parents were first like - whatever and now they see the prices and ask me do you need more money to buy?

Well you remind me of a story, year ago I guess I was convincing my farther to invest his bonus in Ethereum. He was like don't believe into such shits, these are ponzis. Indian people are too conservative, we even have to convince them for 'Mutual Funds' through T.V. advertisement, cryptocurrencies are really big game to go.
And now when I told him his 10.000 could have turned 4L rupees, he can't believe to his feet. Thanks to media who have started covering Bitcoin and others much after demonetisation, Indians are becoming more aware. This year, he is investing 40k in WAVES. Cheesy

BITCOIN Flippening GOLD - conglaturation!

http://goldprice.org/spot-gold.html
https://price.bitcoin.com/

1 BTC more value than 1 OZ gold

This is what we call 21st Century, an era of digitalization .
At last IT technology has been able to find replacement of the proven instrument of store of value from ages, i.e. Gold.
If we considered comparison between gold and Bitcoin for last one year, gold value remain almost stagnant while Bitcoin jumped 3 times. And this difference is enough to show why flippening happening.
2248  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: SunContract Twitter Campaign on: July 08, 2017, 03:39:55 PM
Sheet is graded for the week

Hi, What does it mean "1 short" at spreadsheet?

It means that you have either retweeted 2 times (i.e. one less) or tweeted 1 time (i.e. one less). Rules strictly say you need to do 2 tweets and 3 retweets.

2250  Local / India / Re: Question about Indian language on: July 07, 2017, 05:27:24 PM
Hi, I am adding a translated version for my website https://workingforbitcoins.com/ for the Indian population.

I am trying to determine what language would be best to go with, that most Indian's can read. Would that be Hindi?

If you really want to exchange then yes, "Hindi". Most of the Indian members on forum are Hindi speakers. But I hardly believe anyone of them would be non-English speaker. If an Indian can join this forum, know about Bitcoin, believe me he knows how to speak/read English very well.

I don't see anyone reading a Hindi version of the white paper or the Ann thread of the new altcoins. I know Hindi but reading English and understanding is allot better than reading it in Hindi.
There are very few people who prefer Hindi more than English in these type of matters.
Cheesy
Yeah, that's what I am saying. People hardly cares hindi ANN translations. When we understand cryptocurrencies, then why to make it complicated using "क्रिप्टो मुद्राएं".
Indian population is one of the best English speakers in the world.
2251  Economy / Economics / Re: Compare Bitcoin to Other Investment Instruments (Stocks, Real Estates, Etc.) on: July 07, 2017, 04:53:02 PM
Hello! Thank you for considering my topic: Compare Bitcoin to Other Investment Instruments (Stocks, Real Estates, Etc.)

What do you think are the main difference/advantage/disadvantage of Bitcoin when you compare it to the most common investment instruments like Stocks, Bonds, Real Estates, etc.

Thank you!

In my views Bitcoin starts from the point where the scope of equity ends. Equity is categorised in three types-
1. Less Risk, Less Return
2. Moderate Risk, Moderate Return
3. High Risk, High Return
But when we talk about Bitcoin, its way ahead. If talk in equity terms then it is "Super High Risk, Super High Return". In case of stock/shares, major shares always lies with parent members (directors) of a company and they can manipulate market position with key decisions or internal trading but in case of Bitcoin, everyone is owner and every owner has considerable degree of control over market depending on units he/she hold.

2253  Economy / Economics / Re: How can we push the actual use of Bitcoin ? on: July 07, 2017, 03:51:29 PM
I think first, we should wait till the scaling problem is hopefully solved in near future, because right now even if I had f.e. a grocery store, I would not accept Bitcoin as payment becasue of the confirmation time of the tx (I would hand out some coupons which can be bought for BTC)

Yeah, you mention the biggest hurdle in the way of Bitcoin as payment method. No one gonna waste $2.5 for every transaction. If this problem could be solved, believe me many-many merchants will start using BTC payments without any marketing or convincing.
Till last year Bitcoin was major source of payment on survey, online working, affiliate sites but now hardly any site pays in Bitcoin without deducting huge fees.
2254  Economy / Economics / Re: Probability of Bitcoin split on: July 07, 2017, 03:19:54 PM
Hi, in your opinion what's the probability of Bitcoin's split (e.g. 1:100 bitcoins, so if you have one bitcoin you'll have 100, but the price will be 100 times smaller - about $2.6)?

I think this will greatly improve Bitcoin growth because it's more complicated to surge from $2600 to $10000 than from $2.6 to $10

Depends how you treat.
You can use mBTC as your unit to send/receive Bitcoin and your problem is solved.
I ain't able to understand your concern. BTC is just unit of Bitcoin. Suppose Lisk is $2.25 per LSK at present. I may use word GLSK for 1000 Lisk so if I got 2000 Lisk, I may recognize it as 2k LSK or 2 GLSK. it won't affect price at all.

2257  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it too late to buy bitcoin? on: July 06, 2017, 05:09:48 PM
Even the blind can see that crypto Currency is making people millionaires all  over the world just because they present the holders of such currency with the financial freedom and opportunity to accrue large amounts of wealth base on currency investment . But my question is that, is it late to buy bitcoin? Should i wait maybe bitcoin price will decline after 1st August meeting? Please i will welcome your advice so that I can make my decision on crypto currency investment.

Ok we may argue that it is late to buy Bitcoin but is it late to invest in other cryptocurrencies? Obviously not!
Start putting some bucks in BTC, invest your BTC in some promising coins (you may follow some group advice if it seems difficult to you) and enjoy double profits overtime.
Grow your money with BTC as well as other coins raise.

If transaction is showing success then sorry you can't get your funds back. Bitcoin transactions are irreversible.
Buy the way,  can I know what is AMP?
2259  Local / India / Re: Which bitcoin exchanger should i use now? on: July 06, 2017, 04:33:47 PM
I am a regular Zebpay user and face no issue with its support. My KYC was approved within 3-4 hours. Everytime I withdraw money to bank, it hardly takes day to credit. Negligible fees, hardly 0.5-1 rupee on withdrawal of 5000 rupees. I strongly suggest you Zebpay. Such rumor spreader are actually stupids who frustrate support system with their irritating questions and then spread negativity.
While other alternatives can be CoinSecure and Unocoin.
2260  Local / India / Re: Anyone using EthexIndia? on: July 06, 2017, 04:10:38 PM
It is a sister site of BTCxIndia which used to be big site before but couldn't cop-up with competition as against big 3 (CoinSecure, Zebpay & UnoCoin).
EthexIndia is legit site and only recognized Indian Ethereum platform. But recently it facing many problems like long verification process waiting, lame rates, etc.
I agree with reply above that you should buy ETH with BTC instead INR.
