2261  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Does Binance have margin trading? Not for futures on: November 23, 2020, 10:52:15 AM
Thanks for your reply.

Do you have any idea if Binance has a demo account? I don't mean this https://testnet.binancefuture.com because it is only for futures.

Please advice how to do test trades with margin.
You can test with very small money. To avoid troubles you can use one account for margin trade. It helps you avoid panic when your margin trades are in troubles and you will send all of your crypto to margin. In most terrible market, your order will be liquidated and you will lose all your money in that account.

As 4 year investors and traders I don't force you to use margin trades if you are in borrows, loans and don't understand the trade, formula of margin levels and liquidations.

2263  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO, IEO, IDO, STO which best? on: November 23, 2020, 01:42:50 AM
Which do you think is best for a new project and why?

ICO - initial coin offering
IEO - initial Exchange offering
IDO - initial Dex offering
STO - Secority token offering

IEO is always the best for me because infinity I can be sure that they will not scam and will enter the exchange market in the future. In addition, IEO of top exchanges are always the best such as like binance, kucoin. So you should participate in all these IEO because the amount of risk is to low.

Note- I don't know if the same topic has been presented in the past and I'm creating the topic with my own ideas.
I did not know IDO or STO but Secority token offering sounds to be not correct. Security token offering, isn't it?

I don't know what STO is but the three offerings: Initial coin (ICO), Initial Exchange (IEO) and Initial DEX (IDO) are the same. They only have difference in name calling and acronyms.

The project and its value for the community does not come from ICO, IEO, IDO or SDO. It comes from the project's internal ideas and plans for future developments. Are the  products good and can be realistic to develop and bring them to life?

2264  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will quantitative easing (QE4) signals Bitcoin to moon? on: November 22, 2020, 02:46:58 PM
It is not new. Everyone in crypto knows how terrible inflations are created by governments. The pandemic help people have more real examples in their nations with responses from governments and central banks. Tons of shit paper were used to print fiats and try to prevent economy won't be collapsed.

So what is now? It is not new and will the same news can be reflected to the market more? Or all of it were reflected to the market, to the rise of bitcoin? If the answer is option 1, bitcoin will rise more. If the answer is option 2, bitcoin won't rise more or if rise not much.
2265  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: First it was Coinbase, now its Poloniex - unexpected downtime during BTC upswing on: November 22, 2020, 09:02:29 AM
It brought bad memory back when my orders were killed on Poloniex from their service lags or shady operations in 2017. Could not log in and about 15 or 30 minutes later, logged in to see balance went away.

Lesson learnt from that: Bitcoin is close to all time high and if price fails to break the cap at $20k and exchange lags appear, your margin orders will be liquidated (in worst situation).  Cool
2266  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin value VS gold value on: November 22, 2020, 04:03:50 AM
Bitcoin will never replace Gold forever, because Gold and Bitcoin have different function, that is :
- Gold is a tool for printing currency
- Bitcoin is a digital currency for making transaction.
They have different functions and usages as well as different adoption but I don't agree with your points.

Gold is not a tool for printing currency or fiat. I guess you mentioned about fiat printing and it is not caused by gold. Fiat printing actually help gold catches more eyes from investors and it has increases in price. When people are fear of fiat printing from governments, they choose to use fiat to buy gold bars. Gold supply is finite and it is the common characteristic of gold and bitcoin.

Total supply of bitcoin is 21 million and bitcoin in the future will have same function as gold: asset storage tool.

Bitcoin can be used to make transaction but it is not its main function in crypto market and in human life.
2267  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it possible to day trade bitcoin and altcoins? on: November 21, 2020, 02:30:48 PM
Volatility is very good for trade. You need volatility as a good trader to make money faster. You don't need a dull market because it slows the drive and things can turn around faster as you know to pin you down into negative. So I like market with high volatility as it helps you do a fast trade and get off the market.
To have good market for trading, you need votality that you are right but you are missing a point. Volume is another condition to trade. You can not easily trade, enter and exit if volume is too low with your capital. If your capital is high, bitcoin is the best crypto to trade and for altcoins you must decentralize your capital to many altcoins and each of them need to have high volume enough.

The market has very good conditions to trade bitcoin last few weeks. Volume is high and many candles with price difference is more than $100 or $200.
2268  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Are So Many Altcoins Worthless After a Little Time on: November 21, 2020, 04:35:29 AM
Scammers wait for hype trend and pop up with their new altcoin projects that are simply clones of other coins. They clone from each other and their coin or token tickers are clones too. The greed of people as basic human instinct help scammers to get success with their scam projects.

When you lose money for scammers, you can only blame on your carelessness and your greed. Warnings are useless even they are in front of your eyes if you are greed and ignore warnings.
2269  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why can't the current Ethereum price keep up with the Bitcoin price? on: November 20, 2020, 01:46:53 AM
Ethereum is a utility token and it has not done much to decrease it's transaction fees and increase it's speed. Ethereum 2.0 could make the difference but at current moment, Ethereum's price increase would render Ethereum unusable. Bitcoin on the other hand does not have to be fast and cheap but still it's fees and speed are comparable to Ethereum.
Ethereum is a token. Did you actually spend a few minutes to search and find documents on Ethereum before you invested in the token Ethereum? Did you read its white paper?

Ethereum is a coin, an altcoin and has its blockchain. Its blockchain was used by many projects to run their projects on ERC-20 chain. Those projects are parasites on Ethereum network and they are tokens. Ethereum is not a token.

Ethereum
The intent of Ethereum is to create an alternative protocol for building decentralized applications, providing a different set of tradeoffs that we believe will be very useful for a large class of decentralized applications, with particular emphasis on situations where rapid development time, security for small and rarely used applications, and the ability of different applications to very efficiently interact, are important. Ethereum does this by building what is essentially the ultimate abstract foundational layer: a blockchain with a built-in Turing-complete programming language, allowing anyone to write smart contracts and decentralized applications where they can create their own arbitrary rules for ownership, transaction formats and state transition functions. A bare-bones version of Namecoin can be written in two lines of code, and other protocols like currencies and reputation systems can be built in under twenty. Smart contracts, cryptographic "boxes" that contain value and only unlock it if certain conditions are met, can also be built on top of the platform, with vastly more power than that offered by Bitcoin scripting because of the added powers of Turing-completeness, value-awareness, blockchain-awareness and state.
2270  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why can't the current Ethereum price keep up with the Bitcoin price? on: November 20, 2020, 01:10:37 AM
We all know that the price of Ethereum will grow when bitcoin is growing, everyone knows what happened in 2017. When bitcoin hit the price of $17k - $18k then the ethereum price was already over $1k - $1.2k, but now when bitcoin price is $17k but the ethereum price is very difficult to break the $500 price, shouldn't ethereum current price should is $1k
You sad wrong. The price of bitcoin and Ethereum did not hit their all time high at the same time. You can check charts of Bitcoin and Ethereum again and see what I meant. In reality the price of Bitcoin reached its all time high first and about 1 month later, Ethereum reached its all time high and the same goes for other altcoins.

So if the history will be repeated, the market might see a bull run of altcoins and I expect top altcoins will have their bull run one month after bitcoin falls from its high this year. We don't know the high of bitcoin this year and still waiting for it.

Actually what happened to ethereum?
Many things happened with Ethereum, in the past with ICO scams, last few months with DeFi scams and likely developments are in progress that we don't know.

2272  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another mistake in Bitcoin fees? on: November 19, 2020, 01:34:50 AM
Probably just someone paying what the Bitcoin wallet "estimates".   Wink Grin Grin
What I know is good non-custodial wallets gave people warnings if they use high fees for their transactions. I don't know what happened when the person broadcasted that transaction and terribly ignored warning from the wallet. For their stupid ignorance, they can not blame it on any wallet or anyone else.

Stupid transactions with high fees on Ethereum network occured months ago and Etheremine pool decided to waive the high fee to all of their miners. What bitcoin mining pool that confirmed that transaction will do?

The mining pool is Huobit for the block 657535

I can not recall my memory why I missed the topic Plagiarism as a result of cultural differences by Pmalek.

hilariousandco again proposed for a warning on the first plagiarism and don't know right practice to quote and rule but the proposal is for different plagiarism and not all the same for all cases
2274  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DOGE] Dogecoin - very currency many coin - v1.10.0 on: November 18, 2020, 02:21:17 AM
Check Dogecoin price history. this is not the first time that he touched 16-17 sat. also after each fall, there was a bump to 100+ satoshis.
If we talking about altcoin, check top 50 on the CMC, and you will find only a few altcoins (not tokens). Doge is still there.

during the year I regularly converted into dogecoin small profits from some second trades or from some surpluses. I'm still at about the same level if I look through USD. Bitcoin price is pretty aggressive right now and none of the altcoins can follow it. We just need to be a patient.
I like your discovery that matches with mine. The crypto market is on fire with Bitcoin last month and it can last for a few weeks. What will happen after that? A massacre for all altcoins or altcoins will have their turns to dance and rise? I don't say massacres on altcoins won't happen in a next several of weeks but I am really excited to wait for their turns of bull runs.

Dogecoin 100 satoshis after a few years, it it a realistic target?  Roll Eyes
2275  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Crypto Exchange on: November 17, 2020, 02:21:19 AM
I don't use the exchange from which I can not give you good thoughts about it. What I can share here is something very generic but I hope my contributions can help to decide to use or not use a new exchange. My small contributions for good.

2276  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DOGE] Dogecoin - very currency many coin - v1.10.0 on: November 16, 2020, 01:50:43 AM
Hit 17 Satoshi now  Grin.

Just swap my USDT to Dogecoins, Buy now guys before pump is coming. Lets we see about the good day.

So far it's 17 satoshi is lowest after many years, so it's your to take your part guys.
It reminds me about my sweet memory in December of 2017 with the price below 20 satoshis. One month after that, in January 2018 Dogecoin exploded to 100 satoshis.

I don't convince you that Dogecoin will fly to 100 satoshis in December 2020 or January 2021. This post is not my financial advice for you. Happy trading.

2277  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] bitsburg - Peer-to-Peer (P2P) Bitcoin Trading on: November 16, 2020, 01:41:28 AM
Bitsburg P2P marketplace has some competitive difference from LocalBitcoins and Paxful:
- No KYC
- No bond
- The trade limit per trade is very high: the table in OP presents it is limited at $ 1,000,000 per trade

I don't understand that no bond and how the Bitsburg marketplace can protect traders (sellers and buyers) ?

The signature campaign already brings more attention and traffic to our site. We're now planning to launch other campaigns as well.
How long do you plan to run the Bitsburg campaign?
2278  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin - Reinforced by the pandemic on: November 15, 2020, 01:27:33 PM
The period when I was most confident with my investment in bitcoin is in November and December of 2018. To be honest, I was not confident when bitcoin was crashed in March. I bought it but to say I was confident, I was not.

The pandemic help bitcoin to climb so close to its all time high, is it true. I don't know.

Before the pandemic, the rise in May and June 2018 gave me thoughts that the circle of bitcoin was shortened than its past halving. The pandemic is a coincidence and makes people thought bitcoin rise to all time high price is caused by pandemic. It is not true.
2279  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance.com See deposited address and addresses history. on: November 15, 2020, 04:23:14 AM
Hello,

I just signed up to Binance.com and tried my first bitcoin transaction. What I did was found someone on the p2p list who sold me some bitcoin with PayPal payment.
I received the payment and transferred to the Spot wallet.

I want to see the address the bitcoin was deposit into and search on a block Explorer to see the transaction histories related to it.

I click on deposit and it gives me an address. I check this address on block Explorer but it has 0 bitcoins and no transaction history. I assume this is a new address given to me not the old address that was used to deposit bitcoin into and if I buy something with this address binance will just automatically transfer bitcoin from old address into this new one and then onto the sellers address?

If so, how can I view the old address that has my bitcoins currently in it? I'd like to block Explorer it for learning purposes. Is there an address history list?
I have never used Binance P2P but you can see their guides: https://www.binance.com/en/support/articles/360039384951-How-to-Buy-Cryptocurrency-on-Binance-P2P-App--

With P2P marketplaces, does not restrict to Binance P2P, as sellers, they will only release their bitcoin or crypto if they receive money (in bank transfer, PayPal) from the buyer (you are a buyer).

The guide emphasizes that you have to Transfer bitcoin to your Spot wallet, and Binance does not do it automatically for you. Please see it with Step 8.

Step 8

The status will be “To be released”.
Once the seller has released the cryptocurrency, the transaction is completed. You can click "Transfer to Spot Wallet” to transfer the digital assets to your Spot Wallet.

2280  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Grin | PoW Mining | Electronic transactions for all. Community driven. on: November 14, 2020, 08:26:55 AM
The way I can see now with the GRIN token in the market in USD$ pair the volume was around 150, 000$ something while Bitcoin value is between 25 to 26BTC in which is not bad at all, isn't? But I will review this POW mining about this GRIN it seems that has potential in the future,
And also I think I could hold em too in the long term as well.
Coin and token are very different. A coin has its own chain but a token is a derivative product from a chain of a main coin. Example are Ethereum (a coin) and its ERC20 chain that is used as an operation chain for many shit tokens, from ICOs to IEOs and in this year shit DeFi tokens.

Grin has its bad supply scheme, too high inflation and it contributes to the fall of Grin coin on the market. If you want to invest in Grin coin, you need to look at its supply scheme and find a good point to think of entry.
