1281  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Welcome Our New Partner — HyperMove, Fomoin is about to list HyperMove! on: July 15, 2022, 02:08:52 AM
Welcome to the forum.

The board you made this thread is Bitcoin discussion so you published your topic in a wrong board.

A correct board for this thread is Tokens (Atlcoins). You don't have to create a new thread in that board because having duplicate threads in different boards is not allowed.

You can move your thread (this one) to Tokens (Altcoins) board. Move topic button at bottom left.

From the username, I think you are official representative of that project and you must post with images. You must have a rank at least Junior member to post image (requires to receive 1 merit to rank up). Another way, faster to post image is buying the Copper membership: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2385104.msg24371150#msg24371150
1282  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Whitepaper says "We" on: July 15, 2022, 01:48:35 AM
The real identity of Satoshi Nakamoto is unknow. It can be a he, she, a group of people like Cyperpunk, a company, a governmental agency, whatever.

I think we don't have to find real identity of Satoshi Nakamoto because after 13 years and Bitcoin has grown good enough without the engagement of Satoshi since 2010. It will grow more very well without any engagement of Satoshi because it was designed to be decentralized from protocol design to network hashrate.
1283  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why would someone want to buy an old empty ethereum address? on: July 14, 2022, 11:03:55 AM
I saw that thread too.

I think that user has demand to do his business that need to prove that he or his team is not a newbie in cryptocurrency. Old wallet, with many past transactions. I don't feel good intention to buy and use these wallets.

Probably to scam or to join bounties? I don't know bounties have too strict criteria to join like this.
1284  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Better than DCA is DCAing when fear is high on: July 13, 2022, 02:18:46 AM
For those who consider on holding bitcoin for long term then they would really be usually dont care on what price level they would able to enter since they are minding off about holding or future perspective
Investors with far vision can buy, hold and enjoy their lives. They don't have to read news every day, watch chart every hour and don't have to stress their mind with market volatility.

Quote
DCA is common but not all people does have the funds or finances on doing so thats why whenever they do see that their investments is declining and trying to cope up or cover the losses
then they do decide on panic selling which i dont see for it to be worth or right for someone to take.
To Dollar Cost Averaging, you don't have to have lot of money. You must have confidence with your investment and discipline to follow your DCA strategy. If you are not disciplined, you can not do DCA.
1285  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Need bitcoin! on: July 13, 2022, 02:07:57 AM
Central banks are not trusted. They have leverage and can over leverage to raise fund and if bear market, financial recession comes, they get troubles, liquidation calls and their endings would be like Celcius, Terra Luna, Three Arrows Capital.

Story is same. With cryptocurrency, you can store it in your own wallet. With fiat currency, you can store it in your vault but it is less safe when storing big money in vault at your home. Especially if security in your country is not too good.

Use non custodial wallet, say no to central bank.
1286  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My observations about Ethereum, exchanges, DEFI, DEX and Bitcoin on: July 11, 2022, 01:52:10 PM
example

bitcoin address wants to trade 1 btc for 1 ltc, both should have an address, and value reference should be the dollar, and done, you send LTC to his LTC wallet, and he sends to you BTC to your BTC Address
If I can trade 1 BTC for 1 LTC, I would kill myself.  Huh

When you want to observe the crypto market, you should start your observation with Bitcoin. Ethereum is the next one. Binance BNB is a third one. You should start from the leader to a few top coins under the leader.
1287  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Bitcoin manage to grow over time? on: July 11, 2022, 01:47:48 PM
Supply and demand does not make price peaks and all time highs. I don't deny supply and demand works but it does not work and affect price at peaks and all time highs.

Peaks and all time highs as well as lowest price of each crash are made by leverages, liquidations (forced liquidations), not by supply or demand.

Bitcoin has many characteristics that makes it unique in crypto market: truly decentralized when satoshi abandoned community, most healthiest network from its sum hashrate to how its distribution in miners at different locations. Total supply is 21M and can not be created more. Proof of Work contributes to make Bitcoin value.

Important that Bitcoin has very many use cases and I can say it has most use cases in crypto.
1288  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: P2E crypto - which ones are good and worth it? on: July 10, 2022, 09:35:46 AM
You should understand how macro finance and micro finance work. If you understand them and realize that for an economy to work, there are inflows and outflows.

Play to Earn has more outflows than inflows. There are inflows that are not enough to cover sell pressure from outflows. Gamers can buy NFTs with their inflows but they can play to earn forever. Most of play to earn games don't restrict how long gamers can earn. Even if they have that restriction, sell pressure is still big.

If a game producer can not balance inflows and outflows, that Play to Earn token will be dumped.
1289  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance Registers as a Digital Assets Service Provider in Spain on: July 09, 2022, 12:04:48 PM
Binance is taking advantage of this bear market to be a strong builder. They try to expand their ecosystem to more countries and sign contracts with influencers like Cristiano Ronaldo.

They have a strong competitor, FTX exchange and as you see, CEOs of Binance and FTX have shown some conflicts on social media, months ago and recently. FTX is a most dangerous competitor of Binance in my opinion.

CZ has made many business tours around the world, including Spain and met many important people. Deals closed in such business tours.
1290  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] GOLD - First 100% Liquid Stablecoin Backed by Gold on: July 08, 2022, 09:30:56 AM
Right now we are seeing a sharp decline in the entire crypto market capitalization. Against this background, the capitalization of Digital Gold remaining in place is already a rare occurrence. As demand grows, new Gold tokens will be minted
It is a very good news for digital gold community. It shows the concept for digital gold token business works and demand increases with time. Even in bear market of crypto and during a holistic war in Ukraine.

I waited for this news very long because as I wrote earlier, the last token minting is about 1 year ago or even longer.
1291  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Less Worry: Celcius paid off its $114 million Bitcoin-backed loan in 24 hours. on: July 08, 2022, 09:25:35 AM
This isn't enough for pumping the cryptocurrency prices and restoring confidence back into the crypto markets. It's not just Celsius. Companies like Three arrows capital and Voyager are having difficulties as well. The companies in the entire crypto indsutry are more or less connected to each other. If one goes down, it causes problems for the others.
When people get hurt too much, their soul is hard to be healed. Not only their soul but also their capital vanishes a lot and it is not easy to recover it to their initial capital when they get in the market.

With this hurt feeling, they won't be ready to touch crypto in near future, if they mostly got rekted in this market. For people who are gamblers, they still gamble again but gamblers don't have ability to control themselves and they won't have happy ending.

Quote
Those centralized crypto financial services with their high leverage are like house of cards or a domino. If one falls, others will follow. The good thing about this is that more crypto users will learn the meaning of "not your keys, not your coins" and stop trusting centralized services, that offer high rewards for high risk.
DeFi, lending and high APYs, all will be liquidated and bankrupted in bear market. Especially if their portfolios have crytocurrencies that have x100, x200 in 2020 and 2021 bull run and they have yet cashed it out to good stable coins.

Things for them will be worse if they used too high leverage in bull run and did not cut their positions to safer leverage.
1292  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] GOLD - First 100% Liquid Stablecoin Backed by Gold on: July 07, 2022, 01:40:45 PM
I want to help answer the problem of expensive ETH gas fees and why not use other networks such as trc20, bsc, polygon etc.

There has been this same question before, and the devs still haven't decided to make DIGITAL GOLD on another network.
GOLD tagline "ERC20 Stablecoin Backed by GOLD"
I did not notice it so your clarification is very helpful at least for me. Now I think it is one of reasons why Gold team want to stick with Ethereum ERC-20 chain. Maybe mainly because their Whitepaper.

Quote
It is likely that if there will be another network, there will certainly be changes in Whitepaper and other GOLD Roadmaps.
But, let's just trust the GOLD dev., GOLD is able to survive until now with ERC20 and gas fees which are quite expensive, it's VERY INCREDIBLE.
However, if there is a will, there is a way. An update on Whitepaper and Roadmap is one of things to change if they add another chain for gold token. They have to build technical things to do it, from smart contract to Gold marketplace.

If adding another chain requires to use chain bridges, that is not good idea. Because we see how many exploits aim at chain bridges. Value of stolen money is not small. Maybe chain bridges must to be developed more and become better in security. We might have to wait for chain bridge generation 2 or 3 to have better security.
1293  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shorting lunc (former original luna) and losing 99% assets on: July 07, 2022, 01:34:12 PM
Even sharp fall as LUNC could make you lose assets.

A good article, cause I was one of those who thought it's that easy.
Shorting at bottom after panic ends is terrible as short squeeze will liquidate your position.

For Luna Classic, I believe it will recover in future, slowly but it will and I am sure many people who short it will be liquidated.

After relisted on Binance with BUSD, later it has another pair with USDT and later with leverage for trading. It is not coincidence to see its leverage trading back. It is for short liquidations. I hold Luna Classic and I believe in its slow recovery. In addition, I hope people will not be killed if they short Luna Classic.
1294  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin made you a millionaire? on: July 06, 2022, 07:59:08 AM
Bitcoin if you can hold it. If you work for Bitcoin and accumulate from 2 to 5 Bitcoin, in next 10 to 20 years, you will become a millionaire.

For many people, altcoins are more attractive because they have higher bullish rates but to pick ones that can help your become millionaire with less capital than what you put in Bitcoin (2 - 5 Bitcoin), you must to have luck.

Risk is higher with altcoins. With Bitcoin, your wealth will be built gradually but you are safe.
1295  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Less Worry: Celcius paid off its $114 million Bitcoin-backed loan in 24 hours. on: July 06, 2022, 07:54:59 AM
Information you used is outdated. Currently the liquidation price of Celcius position is much much lower. It's $2,772.

With this liquidation price, I think risk for Celcius is zero. This is a booster for Bitcoin market to recovery mildly in last 24 hours.

1296  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Despite the Price, Great things are happening in the Bitcoin Ecosystem on: July 06, 2022, 07:36:51 AM
History of Bitcoin. This war, this recession is not a first or the last challenge for Bitcoin in its history. It was created to be a part of our society from financial, social to political aspects so it must go through all challenges our society has.

With 21M, a fixed total supply, it has a capability against inflation but along its ageing, it can not rise forever in price. Fortunately, price can not grow forever but value grows gradually and stably with time.
1297  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Inflation can really ruin a coin on: July 05, 2022, 02:44:32 PM
Total supply makes sense to restrict price of a coin. With same product, same intrinsic value, the higher total supply, the less price for that coin. The point is with same marketcap (assumes it is reflected well by its product, protocol, intrinsic value), higher total supply means lower price.

Also please note that total supply is a figure you believe in, some tokens can be minted more from thin air so the total supply you see today can be just 1/10 of its future total supply. Luna Classic is an example.

Bitcoin is a very good coin because its total supply is 21M, and no one can create more. It was set in 2009 by satoshi nakamoto.
1298  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why does Owner of the token/coin when it has value always change Smart Contracts on: July 05, 2022, 01:22:21 PM
As a bounty hunter, I will definitely be happy to receive the results of the campaigns that have been followed in this forum, but I myself am confused why the Owner always replaces the smart contract even though the token/coin is already known. what is the meaning of the tokens that have been distributed to participants, is it just for fun?
One of reasons is bounty hunters are very impatient. They want quick money even it does not help them richer.

Last two years, things are changing with DeFi and decentralized exchanges, so some of bounty hunders can create trading pairs on Pancakeswap, add community liquidity there. They dump their tokens received from bounty on DEX while public sale is still going. That is very harmful for projects and they change smart contract.

Bounty hunters have their responsibility there too but projects should plan to distribute bounty reward only after their public sale is finished.
1299  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will DOGE go back to sub $0.01 prices ever again? on: July 05, 2022, 01:14:19 PM
It is possible if we see altcoins lose their values a lot in past bear markets. From its 2021 all time high to today price, it loses 99% of its value. However, from its chart, I think price around $0.03 is safer to entry as it can bounces back from there.

Of course from $0.03 to $0.01 is very possible if we consider that Dogecoin has leverage trading. Liquidation will quickly force price down a lot.
1300  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: FTX Is Buying Fallen Unicorn BlockFi for Mere Pennies: Report !!! on: July 01, 2022, 05:10:54 AM
It will be a trend when superb whales will play their gamers, kill whales and make such buying on fallen companies like FTX bought BlockFi.

It creates panic in short term, during bearish months but it is good for the market in general because it helps to eliminate weak platforms, over leveraging platforms and bad risk-managed ones. It is better for cryptocurrency in long term.

FTX is like a liquidator in cryptocurrency industry as I read from news and media. The approach of FTX and RBF are different than CZ and Binance. CZ does not like the idea to rescue bad and fallen projects. He want to let it be, survive or die, it depends on those projects and Binance does not want to release any rescue effort.

At least now, it is what Binance and CZ said but they can flip their words later. In the end of business deal, profit is all the things.
