2261  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alts dropping – Has it started? on: April 10, 2016, 02:57:50 PM
maybe it is all the start of the bitcoin price rise. all those money that is coming out of these altcoins needs to go in some place else.

i am sure not all of them will go completely out and most of it will be invested in some place else.
2262  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People Are Just Too Stupid to Use Bitcoin Right Now on: April 10, 2016, 02:53:43 PM
their stupidity and ignorance is our opportunity. because right now the price of bitcoin is low if you believe in bitcoin and believe that in the future it is going to be mass adopted.

so all those ignorant people will regret their decision as i am regretting not getting into bitcoin a couple of years ago
2263  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Halving is a profitable??? on: April 10, 2016, 02:49:40 PM
The psychological hype for the halving is positive, everyone thinks the price will go up, and this will be what will make the price go to the moon... never underestimate the power of psychology in markets. And beside the psychological factor we also have the actual facts: Bitcoin is only getting better and LN and sidechains are coming soon along with a lot of other great BIPs and implementations = moon time.
Well, maybe all bitcoin users wait halving occurs, it may be true, at the time of halving occurs bitcoin prices rise rapidly, thus making a profit, I am also waiting for the moment the price of bitcoin to moon

actually that is true, psychologically the hype alone makes a lot of traders buy and increase the demand. if you doubt the effectiveness of hype just take a look at Ethereum's history and you can see the biggest hype of this year and its effect.
2264  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: E-Sport Prediction , share your prediction here on: April 08, 2016, 01:45:03 PM
CSGO:
Mousesports vs HR -  My tip: Mousesports ML!
AGG vs Empire - My tip: Empire ML

Site to bet BTC on these matches: https://nitrogensports.eu/r/568750
Can anybody tell me where I can watch this e-sports?or this is a virtual or user vs user game?

go to gosugamers.com (spellcheck) and click on the game you like from the top they have CS:GO, Dota2, LOL, and a couple more i don't remember.

in the respective section you can find all the matches and if there is a stream you can find it on the match page. they are mostly from twitch but there are some other streams too sometimes in other languages on other sites.
2265  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Strange Lisk price patterns at Yobit and Bloombit on: April 08, 2016, 01:31:03 PM
Idea: Sketchy exchanges are trying to make the most money they can.

i wanted to say the same thing but the problem with this idea is that they are putting up "huge" sell walls at a very low price of 0.004 according to the picture and in comparison with yobit.

they are either stupid or have other agenda against LISK.

Looks like a Futures Market has been created in the crypto space. A dangerous development.

A question:

Can an individual buy a LISK IOU at say 1,000 sats and then sell it at 2,000 sats, making BTC profit without any LISK changing hands?

If yes, then this is a futures contract market and they are manufacturing BTC profit out of thin air!

Cheesy

LISK is NOT released yet. period.

anything that is being bought/sold is just a promise out of thin air.

these exchangers might not even have enough LISK to cover withdrawals by the time of release and when anybody would want to withdraw what they have bought so far.
2266  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you know about newest coin? on: April 08, 2016, 01:22:19 PM
the news coins don't just come out of nowhere there are steps.
first the developer creates an announcement page and announce the roadmap, specification and release date.
then by that date they usually tell the time too they release the code publicly

just set a reminder on your phone for the date!
2267  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will be stable in 2020 on: April 08, 2016, 01:19:38 PM
i think this is a safe speculation to make that by 2020 (in four more years) bitcoin has reached the mass adoption phase and so as the result the price of bitcoin stops being so volatile and be more stable.
2268  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC going up for 500$ again ? ::) on: April 08, 2016, 01:16:26 PM
There is a good chance the bitcoin is gonna rise to 500 dollar in the next couple months most likely this will also let the halving start.
I think it will be around 500 dollar when before the halving, I also think it will be 500 dollar after halving also.
almost feeling it right now, seeing the price up to 430-435$ good indication that price is near 500 and after halving I think it will rise up.

first of all where do you see these $430-$435 cause all i can see is $418-$421

second i don't think rising $10 is and indication for the $500 it might be the start but you can't tell from this rise.
2269  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is your plan to get rich with Bitcoin? on: April 08, 2016, 01:07:49 PM
Work hard to earn a lot of bitcoin and the make a huge piles of it and then buy what ever I want for a luxurious residence, then I will be a rich person, Rich are those who have available every facility of life, and enjoy their life with freedom.

You make it sound very easy. It is good that you are optimistic about your plan but we also need to be realistic. A lot of people are working really really hard but only very few can be rich by working alone. You need an investment or business with that. And not just work hard, work smart.

i agree, in addition to working hard you need to also work smart too. for example working on faucets from dawn to dusk is also working hard but it is stupid.
working smart means working on something that is going to pay off and is not waste of time. for example learning a skill like programming and then start coding can lead to good places.
2270  Local / 中文 (Chinese) / Re: Fun-casino - first decentralized Bitcoin casino. on: April 07, 2016, 12:33:52 PM
i also don't understand the decentralized part of the casino!

what is being described in the first post is the definition of on chain gambling, which is being done by many other casinos. so i don't understand why is it being called decentralized?
2271  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What makes a new gambling website stand out? on: April 07, 2016, 12:30:27 PM
I think low minimum deposit, fast cashouts, enough promotions, and most importantly nice games with user friendly interface.
I think all gambling sites provide instant cashout only some sites that do not provide fee to withdraw such crypto-games and fortunejack. and minimum withdraw all sites seem the same ie 0.001 BTC
I think the site should have differences to be remembered by others poeple so that their site can become famous and popular

yeah, all of these are the first things that those gambling sites should have. there is no question about it, that is why all the top casinos are the same when it comes to rules.

to stand out, the site should have interesting games (maybe new games) but also giveaways.
2272  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or Gold? What would you pick? on: April 07, 2016, 12:27:09 PM
my answer would be both.

i like having and keeping gold for myself because it is a valuable thing that always keeps its value and even rises over the year.

but also i obviously choose bitcoin because of the volatile nature and the price rises which is awesome profit.
2273  Other / Off-topic / Re: How kids can "earn" Bitcoin ? on: April 07, 2016, 12:24:48 PM
I think they should have to stay on games only to earn some bitcoin or other currency, games will make them healthy in respect to their intelligence and brain. Do not teach them about faucets, with faucets they will lose their health, as for kids faucets are health sucking.
nothing wrong with that if you teach kids about faucets. If they are interested they will continue, else they leave it off. Kids will be always interested in games. So let them to play games, by that they earn little btc.

there is all kinds of things wrong with this.

it means you are teaching your kids to work a very crappy job (mindless typing in captcha code in faucets) and get paid a lot less than minimum wage jobs.

i prefer my children selling lemonade on the street instead of working on a faucet.
2274  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Yobit's LISK Pre-Release Market on: April 07, 2016, 12:17:44 PM
......
Now that the subject is up, they might have been the ones who sunk 1000 BTC into the thing...
.....

this is what i thought when i first saw the market open up last day.

as the official announcement before and also after the YOBIT listing, everybody knew that it is not going to be released until end of April (i have even set up reminders) so the initial trade volume which was bigger than 100BTC was totally fake and the rise also looked more like what MtGox did with bitcoin rather than real traders buying.
2275  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: LISK price speculation on: April 07, 2016, 12:11:07 PM
Price is going close to 0.02 BTC  Roll Eyes If this price niveau holds then we will see a big dump on the start. Everyone wants to sell their coins on this high price level. It would be a 1400% gain over the ICO price. This seems very ridiculous.

everything about this is fake.
the coin is fake (there is no network since the coin is not released yet)
so what is being traded is just a promise,, besides even the LISK developers don't agree with this.
2276  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is a big business??? on: April 07, 2016, 12:09:21 PM
i think you can consider bitcoin as a big business in a sense that you can invest your money into it and take the profit over time.
the good thing is that nobody owns this business (in other words it is decentralized)
2277  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: HOW MUCH YOU EARN/LOSE FROM TRADING on: April 07, 2016, 12:06:31 PM
Thank you very much for every reply,

So no one here loss in the final result ?

nobody will give their earning or losing amount publicly, because people are usually reluctant to talk about their earnings.

and yes those who are good traders are always profiting in the end and their losses are smaller than the profit.
2278  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why Bitcoin price could hit all time highs in 2016 on: April 07, 2016, 12:01:08 PM
There are several reasons, the bitcoin block size will be increased later this year, the block reward will also be halved.
Yeah  that is right and we have opportunity to see all time high price in this year becuase of the upcoming events that we have in this year which will lead to higher price by the end of the year.

i just want to add that raising the block size has nothing to do with the price. although if the block size changes and the battle ends then the news can cause investors to start buying before they miss out, so the price can rise.
2279  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and me (Hal Finney) on: April 07, 2016, 11:55:44 AM
Good luck fighting the ALS man, you'll need it.

Don't give up hope and stay fighting.

We should really lock this thread...he passed away in 2014...RIP Hal...

Let this thread get continued, Though he has passed his thoughts need to be known by every users who wish to be a part of bitcoin.

True, like the famous bitcoin-pizza thread, this should be kept alive.

i think someone should just make a compilation list of all these historic topics that are interesting with links to the respective topic and then sticky that topic in one of the boards.
because all these topics are eventually going to die and go to other pages and never be visited again.
2280  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to teach someone about Bitcoin on: April 07, 2016, 11:51:28 AM
If anyone is interested in using bitcoins, it will be very easy to show them the way. This forum is the number source of information for any bitcoin newbie. You can also introduce them to the world of bitcoins by selling some bitcoin for fiat so that they know the importance.

if anybody is already interested in using bitcoin it means they already know about bitcoin. so you have your work cut out for you, and you only have to teach them how to use a wallet for example.

the hard part is teaching someone who doesn't even know what bitcoin is to start with.
