2261  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Terra Luna Classic pumping - can it last? on: September 09, 2022, 10:23:48 AM
Terra is supported by a very ambitious team and owners, they don't seem to be letting a long built project die in an instant, and now they're starting to show that they have the money to build a pump and of course I'd prefer to invest in LUNA even if it's for a small amount.
They are making their own pump by buying their own coin in order to increase demand traffic and price increase. They are actually tricking us in this way and making us think they are alive but behind these things, that can be disastrous.
I see your love for Luna and probably in hyped projects but you have to be careful mate as it was too risky and losses can be really possible once you miss them. If I were you, I have to play safe and invest those trusted and reliable project that are certainly have a better future and of course, that it will last longer.
2262  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do we gamble or trade? on: September 09, 2022, 09:14:19 AM
People will react on this with the level of their understanding, because their is difference between gambling and trading, i know that the two embraces risk. But one thing i find out in gamble is that it's a game someone else will determine if you will lose or you will make a profit. Why trading is like institution where you will learn different methods of ways to make it, if you understand the primary things concerning trading, you can skip the forms of getting lose everytime. You can control your risk according to the last comment of someone here.
Trading is something complex, where there are several factors that can influence it. many of us are looking for the right method for ourselves to make a profit, and besides that we are required to remain calm and disciplined with the plans that have been made previously, because in many cases we actually experience panic when trading so this has a bad impact on decision making at the end of trading
Well, I guess not. As long as you know that you are in trading, it is for sure you are acting to trade and do your best to make things right without thinking that you are gambling. In fact, it was too obvious to differentiate the two and we know that trading needs knowledge and skill, not LUCK, unless if you are gambling.
In the case that panic arises, you'd better stay away from trading as this is certainly not for you. We can't rely on LUCK in trading or else, we are putting our trades to 50/50 chances of winning which in fact, we can make better than that.
2263  Economy / Economics / Re: Have you felt the impact of inflation so far? on: September 08, 2022, 10:46:59 PM
Food prices have now become uncontrolled inevitably so now is the best time to go on a diet lol. However, though rich people have also been affected by this, but my worries are those for poorest people as they will surely struggle to find penny to buy foods just to survive. Particularly for jobless people, I just hope this inflation will motivate them to find means for living even just for survival alone.

Looking at it the other way round, I don't think the rich folks do suffer with these inflations when you compared them with the poor men. I want to use my country as a case study: Most of the rich guys now have their investment protected with $$ and have them invested in developed countries where things are basically working on their palms, I know there is inflation everywhere but these countries know how to operate and manipulate their markets just to put things in bearest minimum compare to underdeveloped countries of the world. If they are to convert their investment back to local currency, they don't feel the effect of their national inflation because the $$ rate to local currency has been increased with and everything is been fair for them even if there are some little effects but the poor men who earn the same local currency for years and has lots of problems to solve are dying and crying inside.
We might not see them getting affected but for sure they have also felt it. But, poor people are really suffering the inflation. It started when the gas price spike as everything went to follow the increase. Imagine a certain food product had an increase almost half its price, you'll gonna be asking what really happens in the market now? As this inflation will take longer, I'd see more and more people will be hungry and malnutrition.
Now, it was to realize how important is to have multiple sources of income to protect our finances in a situation like this.
2264  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Scalping, my best trading strategy on: September 08, 2022, 10:14:09 PM
Perhaps, scalping is a good strategy for some people especially those who really spend a lot of time on the computer. If you are already satisfied with the small amount like accumulating $100 profit a day, I would say that scalping is truly at its best during the bear season.

But anyways, it is how we choose what kind of strategy we followed in trading and it is very important that we know where we are able to excel and make ourselves comfortable. There are a lot of strategies and yet, not all of them will seem it work for us.
2265  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Vasiliy Lomachenko vs Jamaine Ortiz - October 29 on: September 08, 2022, 11:39:04 AM

I don't think that Loma will start slow, he is eager to get back in the ring and just like in his first comeback fight coming from a lost and injury, he blasted a good fighter in Nakatani. Of course the circumstances are very different now, but Loma having a top boxing IQ, it won't deter him to start where he left off prior to the war in Ukraine. So I expect the same Loma, if not much hungrier in this fight to impress his fans.

I won't say he will gonna be straight to unleash his power in the first round but rather just like any other boxers who came back after resting for so long, he would be careful and won't gonna rush to beat his opponent. But it will be a different story if his opponent will gonna starts to punch him hard in the early rounds because Loma won't really give others some chance to get the best of him unless he is injured or caught by a surprise technique that he hasn't been prepared for.

Knowing Loma, rushing is not his strategy, he likes to take it slow but consistently damages his opponent, so most likely that's what we are going to see here. This fight could last over 6 rounds but it will not go to the judges' scorecards, that's my guess and I like the odds for that.
2266  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Naoya Inoue vs Paul Butler - Undisputed Bantamweight Bout - December 13 on: September 08, 2022, 11:13:36 AM

The only advantage of Butler here is on the height comparison, he is 5′ 6″ while Inoue is 5′ 5″, but it's not a big deal because, for Inoue, he can make his opponent vow down, Donaire was even taller with 5′ 7" but he did not last against the monster Inoue.
that 1 inch advantage is nothing if we will compare to what are the advantages of Inoue against Butler .

from the stamina and experiences ? and from whom He defeated ? I'm sure that inch means nothing to this Monster from japan , he is not afraid of anyone and he had proven that from defeating one of the toughest in that division Nonito Donaire so there is no one can hinder Him from taking another momentum .

Inoue will just use his quickness and his opponent will get knocked out. That's the kind of outcome I'm expecting in this fight as Butler is not a legit champion who ripped the belt of a champion by beating him, we have to remember that he got the belt because the champion got disqualified and he will never get the respect of the majority of the fans until he can beat a real champion, and in this case, it's Inoue.

That's definitely the strategy, but as we saw in the previous fight of Butler, he also showed his quickness, so both of them are quick but Canelo has the advantage because of his power which is his killing punch. I know it's going to be exciting, so continue sharing your opinion regarding this fight.
2267  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto's biggest flops are now pumping ? But why?! on: September 07, 2022, 10:26:33 PM
Terra Luna Classic and Voyager are two projects nobody expects to attract a lot of investors anymore. Yet they're going parabolic ? Right at the bottom of one of the worst bear markets crypto's ever had ??
This is madness.
Apparently, that is how manipulation and hype influence the market trend, or maybe a fake trade volume is also possible. It is really eye-catching and even surprising but I have no regrets about not investing in this coin for I have no trust in them anymore. But what I think is that this pump won't last long and a terrible drop can be possible. I have to say that the trap has been setup and losses are way possible for those who buy now.
2268  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: September 07, 2022, 12:57:35 PM
@LogitechMouse, Brownlee is back again as an import of Ginebra, I think this is the time that Ginebra will win a championship. SMB I think is still the favorite team to win since JMF is back, so SMB having an import is like having 2 imports due to JMF's talent.

Can't wait for the next conference, which will come first? the EASL or the next conference?

You are right there mate, SMB Beermen is like having two imports with a healthy Fajardo on board but this is not a guarantee of a championship since Junemar can be guarded well by an import, we have seen that one where he was limited by Brownlee many times when their teams meet.

Being a fan of SMB, I just hope that they could get their grand slam trophy before Fajardo retires and I think this year and the next two is a bright year for them since they have new faces that could help Fajardo in their quest for the grand slam.

Also, Perez looks like an import, hehe. The roster of SMB is scary, they only struggled last season because of an unhealthy Fajardo, but now he is back and the team has a healthy roster as well, so they should be a team to beat here even if the Ginebra San Miguel has Justin Brownlee again.
2269  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Fernando Martinez vs Jerwin Ancajas rematch - Oct.8 on: September 07, 2022, 12:29:06 PM

So it's bad to stay in a weight division wherein you can't really make weight, another example is Casimero. he wanted to fight Inoue so he stayed in that division and in the first scheduled fight against Butler, he fell ill. And in the second one, he was caught with the Sauna thingy.

He was already struggling to keep the required weight, it's just too bad for Casimero as he was caught cheating, he could have just move up and be the number 1 contender to fight the champion. For Ancajas here, there's still one more chance for him to avenge his loss, if he wins here, people will stop doubting him, if he losses, then no choice for him but to move up.
2270  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC reach 45k before this year ends. on: September 07, 2022, 10:44:51 AM
Let's make a prediction that whether BTC will hit 45k again.

My prediction for BTC reaching 45k before this end is yes, it will hit at least 40k if not 45k.

I also think it's the best time to buy btc considering you'll get a chance to enter at a good price rather than complaining later on that you missed the "TOO THAA MOON"

Though I won't bet that never happens as I love it too to reach that price but as I look into the market situation, I was sure that this bear season will stay long, until the end of this year. This is the reason why that $45k is not really possible, I predicted that it will only reach $30k during this BER months.

To the MOON yeah! Something we miss but it looks like it was impossible this time. Well, of course, it certainly will come after halving and that probably 2-3 years from now.
2271  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Help me choose on: September 06, 2022, 11:51:10 PM
Between Skale Network, Satoshi Island or Lido Dao which one do you think will be better investment in this bear market.
I hope you understand but honestly, you are choosing far from being profitable. You are investing shitcoins already. What you can expect from them? Of course, nothing and you are just throwing your money into Cry these worthless projects.
Why not consider those projects that are at least at the top 50 coins, they are more worthy than those that have been mentioned. Or, just focus on ETH and Bitcoin as certainly, this will give you some assurance for a profit return, unlike these projects.
2272  Economy / Economics / Re: Tips to save my finances, to grow personal economy on: September 06, 2022, 10:50:03 PM
Besides saving money, Maintaining the quality of sleep can also influence in improving the quality of the economy in our lives. then sleep regularly. because if you lack sleep then thoughts and inspiration will be very difficult to emerge. Even Elon Musk has revealed that sleep quality has an effect on building productivity in life.
Saving money couldn't make you financially stable, not will grow your finances, however, it gives you some security. But, having some business, multiple sources of income, you gonna sleep well and making you financially stable, and most of all, you are absolutely secured. Elon Musk did say it because he had already reached his goal and made his life even better.

And of course, changing our lifestyle really has a huge impact on our finances. We gonna have to control our spending habits, spend the money wisely and it was better if it will be acquiring assets, not liabilities.
2273  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Vasiliy Lomachenko vs Jamaine Ortiz - October 29 on: September 06, 2022, 12:21:46 PM
As to this moment. I am more interested in who's next for Loma. Will it be for the undisputed championship as he is the WBO mandatory? Which means he is fighting the winner of Haney-Kambosos II. I wish Loma the best and everyone is curious how he looks like in his upcoming tune-up fight.

By the way, who's going to be the favorite between Haney and Loma? Maybe it depends on how they perform in their next fights? Personally, prime for prime I take Loma over Haney. But maybe Haney is yet to achieve his prime as he is still young while Loma is already in his mid 30's where his body might not be able to follow everything his mind wants.

Yeah it depends if how they will perform from both upcoming fights, maybe they will favor Haney but I still

can't assume since Loma is well-known fighter and fans and gamblers will be on his side, though we will see if how both

finished their respective fights. Not to put Ortiz down but it seems that they just use him for Loma to rise back and

hypes his career.

Loma vs Haney, there's no underdog on that match. Well, maybe Haney is a slight underdog but I believe it will be a close fight, not like the fight of Haney against Kambosos where it was very disappointing to the fans since it was just a one-sided fight. Bob already said this fight will happen, so let's be optimistic with that.
2274  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 06, 2022, 11:53:04 AM
I think I just missed one trade that happened in June.  Grin Well, thankfully I bumped into it while reading something else about the new power rankings and now I won't be innocent when I see them playing in a new jersey.
Here is the trade that happened between the Nuggets and Wizards.
Sources: Washington has acquired Will Barton and Monte Morris from Denver for Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and Ish Smith

So the Nuggets are trying something new. I bet it's because of what happened last season and these two guys did help the Joker but not in a stretch that is expected from them unlike when Murray was around. But the stats from KCP and Ish was almost identical, and I would still pick the former players for chemistry strength.

I don't know if they think of it very well, I think it's a bad decision, these two are great contributors of the team, the only problem with the Nuggets is that they are undermanned and one of their superstars has underperformed.

They missed Jamal Murray due to injury, and Aaron Gordon was not playing like a superstar.
2275  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Crypto business isn't for everyone on: September 05, 2022, 10:19:22 PM
Conclusion
Crypto business is meant only for patient people with strong heart who are not too greedy and are always ready to learn.
Not really sure if crypto can be a good business model. But for others it is. I am more inclined on it as a technological tool to help ease some process and method to fast track some of the payment of a certain business. Unless the platform is designed specifically to do actual business with an actual product which quite rare for a crypto project. Usually a good business on crypto related are market exchanges, like Binance and others.
Indeed.
For crypto exchanges, I'd see it was growing and profitable but if we just run a small business accepting crypto, not really I think it was good. But of course, the future of our crypto business will just rely on how we manage it because even putting up to other forms of business and if we fail to manage it well, failure is certainly what we got. I agree that business is not all about having the capital but it also having the passion, knowledge, and skill running the business.
2276  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bull Run and Bear Market on: September 05, 2022, 09:45:21 PM
This is a simple question, When this bearish market end and Bull run start.
Thanks

Frankly, there is no definite answer to this simple question that you're asking OP because nobody can predict what could happen in the future, and if only we can predict when will these market phenomenons starts and ends then I think we wouldn't have some troubles investing to any cryptocurrency we want.

We can only speculate when will it start and ends but that does not guarantee that it will really happen, truth is, even these self-proclaimed market experts cannot even answer your question nor can predict such things.
And the truth is that - these speculations and these self-proclaimed market experts will just fail. That is why we are just prepared for what will happen next. I'd stop thinking when this bear season end and even when the Bullrun comes as I'd rather make myself surprised for the incoming at least I already know I gonna do during that time. Because believing these experts are making no sense at all as we know that they are not the ones who hold the future of the market.
2277  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo vs Golovkin 3 - September 17 on: September 05, 2022, 11:20:24 AM

This fight does not need trash talk to hype it, it was the fans who requested to see it and here it is, so I can say that it's going to be a sold-out fight and the fans will be entertained watching this. Canelo is the winner in the previous match but anything can happen here, GGG could win here and maybe retire to give Canelo a lesson that trash talking is bad.

Canelo just hates GGG for backstabbing him in the past now this is his time to take revenge, there's really no need to thrash talking show off on this fight, they are not meeting for the first time this is their third match its time for both fighters to show respect, GGG is doing that he is more concentrated on the fight while Canelo is not, he is thrash talking GGG he seldom does that to his opponents, I think GGG is getting in his head and he is aware that he badly needs to win this fight, to climb to the all-time greats again.

Whatever his reason, it doesn't look good on him because we idolized Canelo and we know he is not a trashtalker. Thing is, if he gets trashtalked, he is easily affected, so that's not good because it will lose his concentration in the fight, and I'm afraid this time the judges won't be able to save him.

Come on, let us not be sensitive here, this is boxing, it's entertainment and therefore trash talking is just normal. It's something that will add spices on the fight and so that people will keep talking, and as a result, they'll be able to sell more tickets for more profits, simple as that.
2278  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: September 05, 2022, 10:54:46 AM

Game 7 of the Finals should be more intense to watch if TNT were able to give SMB a good competition in the last quarter.
Can't blame them TBH if they choked in the 4th quarter.
.
Coach Chot isn't there because of health and safety protocols, Erram got a Flagrant foul penalty 2, Khobuntin had an MCL injury, Castro still played even though his ankle is still hurting and their three-point shots in the 4th quarter isn't going in. Overall, TNT's chances of winning are way lower because of these and like I said, three-point shooting is a double-edged sword. You sink threes, you win but if you don't then it will hurt you. That Game 7 is still a good game to watch for me and for the 15,000+ who watched Smiley.

They had a huge problem in game 7, not having their coach is already a major problem, and Erram was unlucky he got ejected, he could be a big used to at least limit Fajardo, but he wasn't careful enough. What I've seen also is Mikey Williams not able to continue his good start, he was very limited in the 2nd half so Castro really has nothing in terms of help.

True, but the game is over, they can't bring back the past, we call it unfortunate or bad actions from them, and hopefully they'll learn from their mistakes. Basketball is not just like a physical game, it's also a mind game, it's just that SMB were to clever that time.
2279  Economy / Speculation / Re: Stressful crypto market on: September 04, 2022, 11:48:25 PM
Previously, many people could not buy BTC for the reason that it was expensive and the amount was small. Is this already on the verge of Dropping Deadline???
It was really stressful if you will check the chart every day. Tried to skip sometimes and make a habit to think positive despite the downsides that might give you an easy life. You have to be aware of the dump and pump scenario as this is what the market it looks like. Because the more you've got affected by the price changes, the more it gives you stress. If you really trust Bitcoin and your investment, it is certain that you will never feel any worries and distractions.
2280  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can One Actually Do Crypto Trading As A Living? on: September 02, 2022, 09:50:14 PM
I've heard of many people talk about cryptocurrency and its potentials all the time and at a point I begin to wonder if one can just depend fully on cryptocurrency as a means of livelihood.
There are really certain people who excel in the field of trading and they were able to create successful trades despite of the market uncertainty. That way, they find trading as a good source of living. However, not all people were able to sustain in trading because they easily panic and lost their focus every time the market crashes. The reason why trading do not guarantee everyone to be a source of profits all the time.
Generally, trading isn't for everyone and that is why we only see a few people are happy doing this and make use of this as their source of income. There's a lot of money in trading which makes people become interested about this but this does not just work like that as trading needs a higher level of intelligence and skills to make it works and be profitable. Otherwise, we just buy, hold, and sell when the price is high as a causal traders.
