2261  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Where do you see gaming tokens in 5 years from now? on: May 28, 2022, 08:37:16 PM
I am also bullish on blockchain gaming ecosystem, there is a huge potential to be on ATH price level during bull market. The more we invest in low marketcap gaming alternatives coins, the higher chances will be for development and market growth. New projects also can cut costs in bear market circumstances, it is free market for all.
When it comes to diversification then it wont really be a bad thing as long you could afford on what you could potentially lose on throwing up something with gaming tokens.
So it does vary with someones research and decisions in dealing with these tokens.I cant say that it would be totally shit or garbage yet we arent on that time where
recognition and popularity would really be on trend might happen or not and this is where risk taking could neither ending up a good result or not.
So its a personal kind of choice on such decisions.
2262  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo vs Golovkin 3 (September 17) on: May 28, 2022, 07:57:12 PM
Yes, saw this thread a couple of days ago and it's good that we have a thread already,  Smiley

Line is open already,

Alvarez - 1.21
Golovkin - 3.90

So obviously Canelo again will be the favorite, but I think this fight is going to be close again and could end up in the score card. And maybe Canelo might win by a narrow margin, around 115-113 for him.

Wow. Pretty unfair odds for GGG. I myself understand that he cannot be the favorite in this fight simply because of his age, but 3.90 against a boxer who was defeated in a previous fight and is perhaps in a crisis? Looks like it's time to bet on GGG. By the way, I don’t know how much it need to believe in Canello after the beating that happened to bet on him with odds of only 1.21.
What would you expect?

I wasnt surprised that Canelo would be the favorite and the underdog would be GGG but seeing those odds then its not really that bad to take some shot or make bets with GGG.
Despite of the age difference and that prime topic then i dont have any question on that but ggg could still or possibly able to beat him off.
3.9 odds isnt that bad to consider honestly.
2263  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's preventing bitcoin from worldwide adoption? on: May 28, 2022, 07:17:42 PM
Talking about the scams and government, you know people can really go past that should they just be determine to. The issue is, most prospective users and investors aren't willing to research on informations about the cryptocurrency development or initiative. Little wonder why the system gains more investors an use cases keeps arising even in crypto ban or restricted areas. Its just the way it is on how, the projects are self sufficient and need no government interference.
Government haven't been able to leverage the system to there advantage and so, they continue to spread fud of it being a scam and try to come up with CBDC to serve in the crypto capacity.
No surprising that they would really be tending to lure it to stick with those centralized things rather than citizens would be dealing mainly on decentralized ones which they arent able to control
and we know that government doesnt really like that thats why its not surprising that they would really be emphasizing about its cons and would make people believe specially to those
who do have zero knowledge about the cons of dealing with bitcoin or crypto thats surely somehow slows down overall adoption and recognition but well we should not worry
too much because the truth would always prevail and the community will surely even gets bigger as the years passing by.
2264  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin's price stabilize someday? on: May 27, 2022, 11:12:35 PM
If bitcoin users continue to increase like what happened in 2021 then price fluctuations will be smaller, the biggest problem that makes bitcoin too volatile is the market cap is still small and many millionaires are easy to control the price, as happened in 2021 when Elon Musk actively invests in bitcoin and make the market impact move positively.

Don't be afraid because bitcoin users will continue to grow even though Elon Musk is not very active in buying bitcoins but I'm sure people will continue to believe and will continue to buy bitcoins.
After this storm ends, see how the expected changes will occur in the price of bitcoin and it is certain that bitcoin will rise and fly back to the moon.
Honestly,we don't need Elon and the market isn't really revolving only with these whales or billionaires although they could give out some significant impact in the market but won't be totally 100% relying on it but in speaking with Bitcoin potential then this is something that can't really be ignored but don't expect for that stability because as long there are buyers and sellers in the market then price would be always moving.
2265  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The market is confusing on: May 27, 2022, 10:05:04 PM
The market is only confusing when we can saw bitcoin price drops drastically, if the market is green everyone is happy and no questioning of the price no one will confuse and enjoy the earnings, but if the market is full of red or bear market everyone start complaining and confused with the price even if most of the expert says its time to buy but everyone seems still confuse and always have a doubt to buy because they afraid that they will going to lose if there is a long bear market that is called greed. So i think buying is best at this point of time we need to start buying before its too late again.
Nope,it's confusing on every aspect or everytime you do make out such action whether you do buy or sell on particular price condition and since the price movement is unpredictable then you would always hesitate whenever on what action you would really be making. Its up to someone whether they do make out some action basing with their own analysis and skills and this will depend or differ on each and everyone.
2266  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can Old Casino Keep Up Without Support Here In Bitcointalk Or Signature Campaign on: May 27, 2022, 08:54:55 PM
Yes, they can be helpful in some ways especially if its a newly opened casino, but as time goes by and this casino has already build its own credibility to its players, then even if they lost the support from bitcointalk forum or signature campaigns, they can already manage to stand on their own and continue their legacy. It does not matter whether its an old casino, but as long as the interest and satisfaction of the players are still met, probably this old casino will still continue to operate.
Loosing the support from the forum is a different matter altogether, it is hard to manage without the support of the community but the established platforms can still do business without any signature campaigns. We have seen some of the major sportsbook reaching out to major endorsement and sponsoring them and running a campaign here is much much cheaper.
Their Ann thread isn't active anymore which any complaints or feedbacks are just simply been ignored which isn't something good for the business but I would say that it won't really be that necessary if they don't have any complaints or had been long time running because if they do still have users left on the site then people won't boggle up their minds in terms of this issue but we know that having support or having some campaign is much more preferable for having such more exposure.
2267  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: El Salvador will be the richest country in the world in 8 years? on: May 27, 2022, 07:32:56 PM
Quote
Re: El Salvador will be the richest country in the world in 8 years?

How is this gonna happen?
Firstly,  El Salvador is not a rich country, so for them to become the richest country in 8yrs time, they first need to escape from the list of poort countries and this cannot happen so quick.

Well, this could happen if bitcoin starts to pump quickly and again reach all time high. If El Salvador possesses a lot of bitcoins, it could become the richest country if bitcoin cross 100,000$ or 200,000$. As per the OP, eight years are enough for bitcoin to be at these prices, and also El Salvador should accumulate many bitcoins during these times.
They could be rich on Bitcoin profit gains but this isn't something that could be considered to be that sustainable or something that do talks about placing itself to be the richest or one of the richest country because it do all matters with resources and other factors which doesn't only limit on investment gains even they had accumulated that much but on the current behavior that they've been doing which it isn't really that bad at all but it do accompanies such risk but well it's a choice that had been made.
2268  Economy / Economics / Re: How DCA Could Have Prevented Your from Losing More on: May 25, 2022, 11:58:53 PM
If you are investing during the bear market you can easily buy everything in a lump sum by taking advantage of the cheap price. I think dca is most effective when you invested during the bull market, those who bought high last year have the opportunity to dca now that the price is down. But some investors don't usually dca when price is down because they feel frustrated with the price and would rather sell and leave than dca. This is a great strategy but not everyone will apply it.
If you do let your emotions control you then you would really be ending up on a panic selling kind of decision where you wont tend to make use of those DCA strategy which is really something that do really patch up
on what you had lost when you did invest on a bull market but somewhat not all does have the finances on doing so thats why they dont really have any choice but to panic sell or cut loss then buy into the current
price and hope that they would make profits on the time the market recovers which i could say a totally absurd kind of decision.
2269  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Session That Lingers On Or Keep Staying On your Mind on: May 25, 2022, 10:56:01 PM
This is a way gambling addiction gradually set in and if not controlled becomes a norm. Once a lost or won bet keeps hunting and depriving sleep it starts throwing up ugly suggestions of possible win if the opposite was done and gradually it starts nursing ideas of increasing stakes for a quick recovery of losses and also a potential mega win. I try my best to keep all lost and won games in the past so i can keep gambling strictly on a fun zone

This is one of the sign that a person is addicted already coz they will not came to the point that dreaming their plays if this is not bothering in their mind and for sure they keep wanting to play more that's why even at their sleep they think about this and this is harsh if things got worse so at early stage of symptoms maybe people like this need to control things and minimizing all things which they think exceeded already, also to enjoy what they are doing without noticing any harm on their surroundings.
It is indeed one of the symptoms for someone to be that addicted towards gambling on where it do really comes to a point that you are minding gambling sessions or particular situations which you cant able to avoid
even though you arent playing anymore which is a solid indication that you are really that hooked up into this gambling activity which we know that it wont really be good for our finances yet
losing control in terms of spending is something that really next in line. Winning and Losing, here's the only two possible outcome and its just right that we shouldnt really be mindful
so that it wont mold out any bad intentions which wont really be that right since from the beginning.
2270  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Some Errors We Make In Trading Crypto on: May 25, 2022, 09:42:56 PM
one of my greatest mistake as a trader is going into a Bullish market for a sell instead of maintaining my Buying position , when my indicator signified pull back in a lower time frame  Sad  ......later got hit by my stop loss
If my understanding is correct, bullish seasons are the right time to sell and buying by that time isn't really that good unless there's a higher price during that bull.

As for setting stop loss, that's really the purpose of it.

That's going to minimize the potential losses that you'll get instead of no stopping as the market plunges so it's still a good thing that has happened to you.
Stop loss is basically the motor stop of all crypto trading. It means that you are going to get out if something scary happens, prevent a crash and keep you alive. I keep saying that stop loss should be used in a way where you could be crashing so hard that it would be an idiotic move not to sell. Like for example Bitcoin dropped recently didn't it? You didn't need to do a stop loss there, you could make a long time purchase and just DCA that to recover in the quicker return time period. However when you see Luna, you understand why you need a stop loss, because if you did a stop loss even at 99% drop, you could have saved yourself and make more profit.

But most traders won't use that strategy because they thought they know the market well.
Who would have thought that LUNA will crash this badly?
Aside from few Youtubers who predicted about this Luna catastrophe, a lot of holders were actually hoping to gain from this investment.
But I do agree with the use of stop-loss strategy, it may be your savior in some of your trades.

there are many stories about saving assets by stoploss, which actually cannot be underestimated, especially for us trading in the long term, for example like yesterday's luna, just put our stop loss at 30%, of course terrible things don't happen. with a sudden decline in the market indicates something is not healthy for the market. therefore we must be able to minimize risk, although sometimes we are deceived when the stop loss is picked up and the price goes up again
Majority does really set out any stop losses because they are really still hoping for some recovery which means that whenever the price or market declines then those losses arent still realized
which  means there's a chance for some break even or recovery and thats the main reason on why some people doesnt really intent to make use of this useful tool but for those
who do love scalping or day trading then this tool would really be that relevant or too important. Errors on dealing with the market or simply trades?
There's a lot and you are the ones who do need to learn so that you would able to avoid it for next time.
2271  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can Old Casino Keep Up Without Support Here In Bitcointalk Or Signature Campaign on: May 25, 2022, 08:15:26 PM
Like some members have said, old casinos already have their loyal customers who will always play on their site as long as they continue to maintain their standards.
And also, this forum isn't the only place where casinos advertise their products, there are several other outlets where they can advertise, take the likes of fairspin as an example, this is a new casino that launched their advertising campaign on this forum but the manager had to pause the campaign after one week because he could not reach the fairspin guys, but just yesterday while browsing through bscscan, I saw their ads all over the site, so Clearly, this forum is not the only place where casinos advertise their brand, an old casino can decide to leave bitcointalk and keep advertising their brand elsewhere.
There would be some exemption into those loyal users or old time who doesnt really care about their marketing stuffs specially to those who had been playing for long time but the casino wont
really be getting something new as marketing or exposure had been completely stopped but somewhat on other cases there might be some new registrants depending on where they do get
such information whether from old links or recommendations but its totally different when its really been actively advertised.
2272  Economy / Economics / Re: What happens if BTC's price falls to $8,000? on: May 25, 2022, 07:10:14 PM
If the price of bitcoin drops to $8000 I will not repeat that mistake again and this is a dream come true or an event that will repeat itself, and I will not waste it.
I will buy as much bitcoin as I can afford and I will even sell something expensive to buy it, and I will just sit back and wait for the bitcoin price to hit ATH considering the history going in 2021 is over 68,000 and maybe if history repeats it will hit $100,000 New ATH.
and if it comes true i will buy as much as i can and wait for the bitcoin price to hit $100,000 although it will take a long time because i already know it due to history, even though it will not be possible and just a dream if the bitcoin price drop reaches $8000.
Simple to say but when you are on the situation on where the market had really dropped this low then for sure you would really be having that hesitation because you would be thinking off
on why bitcoin dropped this low too much? Is there something wrong in the market? Would there be some new coins in the market which is better than with bitcoin?
Would the price would go even more lower further? For sure these are the main questions and doubts that you would have in mind on the time like this.  Cheesy
2273  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo vs Golovkin 3 (September 17) on: May 24, 2022, 11:53:23 PM
At the age of 31, Canelo looks to be nearing retirement. He appeared to have lost his motivation, or been in too many wars against Bivol.

At the age of 31 Canelo is considered still in heavily prime. That was the impression prior to fighting Bivol and no one even thinks that he won't lose at the moment of his career. But even if he loses on that, that won't change that he's still in his prime.

Regarding the now officially trilogy between GGG and Canelo, it should happen early as the former is now almost in the retiring period. But since GGG showed dominance against Murata previously, I hope GGG will put Canelo on his 2nd consecutive loss.

The time now to end the chapter of these 2 greats. GGG will retire happily if he won this match.
Im not underestimating GGG but his recent fight against Murata isnt something that i do really expect for GGG which he did really slow down but you could still see that solid or powerpunch
that he do makes but that wont really be enough on beating prime Canelo considering his age compared to him.People say that age doesnt really impose some toll?
Think again because it does and if he do wins this one then i do really believe that he might be retiring after closing this one.
2274  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are new bitcoin users early or late to the party? on: May 24, 2022, 10:51:00 PM
I feel like I'm too late and the btc price is literally just gonna go sideways forever. Or maybe a slow gradual push up. Maybe in 20 years it will be worth half a mil.

I dont think we're gonna see anymore gains like people of the 2010s and 13s experienced. and even 2017...|

Will btc ever hit a million? Or hundred million?

I kick myself so hard every night going to sleep that I didn't get in earlier. Liek I'll literally have dreams of being in 2013 when I first heard about it and buying some... T_T

Yes, i am late, I wasn't expecting that bitcoin price will increase so much but i still believe that whatever the price of Bitcoin is, i will surely get some profit when i invest with Bitcoin.
People would say that they are late just because they cant generate profits which is really comparable or similar when you are dealing with altcoins on which they are really that tending
to get that 2x or more kind of return of investments thats why they do really have that impression that they are late into the party but if you do consider about chances or assurance
then there's no really doubt on bitcoins potential and this is where the community do really mainly supports due to this factor and the rest would really be making out some risk
taking in speaking with touching with other coins in the market.
2275  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your Mantra After, while playing And Before You Gamble on: May 24, 2022, 09:44:49 PM

How about you do you have one and when do you recite it before, while playing or after you gamble.
Mine:

Before: I do need to enjoy and spending the amount which i could afford to lose
Midway: If winning (I'll need to stop, just a little or few more win) ,, If losing (I'll try next one and might able to break even somehow)
After: That was a good run (but deep inside there's frustration)  Cheesy

I dont believe with those common superstitious or chants or something in related because
luck isnt something that couldnt be influenced.
2276  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Advice for poor people who wanna get some crypto on: May 24, 2022, 08:43:46 PM
I do not think that people who of not have sufficient funds at the moment can afford to invest a lot, particularly at this time, as the one famous saying goes, invest only the capital you are ready to lose. So, invest little by little until the next bull run, sell high and hopefully buy low.
Getting ourselves into a situation where we do talk about financial freedom then this is something requires that being wise nor mindful in regarding with your investment and this isnt something that anyone could really able to have a good grasps on depending on the situation or status you are into.Yes, you do really love to have that freedom but you dont have the money or finances for you to move forward which do really
sucks if you do ask me since i had already able to experience such situation which could really be a big hindrance for you improvement or success.
2277  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: PH banned online cockfighting - Worst gambling-related cases recorded! on: May 24, 2022, 07:45:03 PM
It would seem that cockfighting is really just a big thing in the Philippines these days (though I’m assuming there are other western nations also allowing for this to be going on). Those of you who live in the Philippines here, why not try and fighting back? Start protesting, educating fellow countrymen on this sickening and barbaric torture these animals are being put through? I can’t believe whether this gambling “game” is still even being considered by anyone.

Again, as always, if you support this..FUCK YOU!

This is the only decent stance you can take towards any sport that involves harm to animals and making two animals fight against each other to the death is especially sadistic. It is so brutal and barbaric that it echos throughout society at large, most civilized societies have outlawed similar blood sports many centuries ago. How anyone could take pleasure or entertainment from seeing animals in such fear is rather sick in the head. You can tell this case is simply about the fact that the Philippine government cannot control the revenue flow from online games that they have banned it, but they still allow in-country fights because they don't care about the animal welfare side one bit.
Nope. they arent banning cockfighting but only banning or blocking into those illegal online betting sites or platforms because it could really be having two
possible reasons.

1. They cant able to tax
2. They are minding about their citizens too much addiction.

This is a good government stance towards the situation but dont expect about 100% precision or totally solving out such problem.
2278  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Teach me to invest in NFTs. on: May 23, 2022, 11:50:29 PM
If you are going to buy NFTs then buy NFTs that is good for long term investment such as Rollbit's NFT where you can make money out of the NFT you bought to their website as those NFT wont just an investment but you can make money from those too meaning you can sell it if you don't like it anymore or if you hold one you can use it to make money.
I agree with this, because rollbots are connected to rollbit and they at least have an owner website where there is a feature for it. There are tons of websites where things are looking great for many people, but at the same time we are talking about something that is usable and has utility.

This means all these fake NFT's where there is nothing you can do with them, worths nothing to me and rollbots are not like that. If you like to gamble, that is even better because you can like huge cashbacks and rewards and all that when you own rollbot and then go and gamble at rollbit as well. You can find other examples like that, an NFT collection with utility.
Just like into those old years where ICO craze happens and now we do have that NFT then this do really create lots of shitty things in the market whenever there's a hype that had been created.
Investing will really vary on someones own personal views and target and of course on every decision there should be analysis and knowledge on which one you should really be going after.
As for Rollbot nft's then its no doubt but considering that not all investors wouldnt be touching gambling field then this would really be out of their options.
2279  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Any changes experienced within body - Gambling??? on: May 23, 2022, 10:51:41 PM
I have phone phobia - I have difficulty attending phone calls and also I experience work anxiety.
So that symptoms may be trouble for you but the other one might not have- You should get rid of the habit for a better mental and physical growth.
I've got no changes within my body but true about mental health. I am noticing that there's a sudden change on my mental health when I can't bear that much pressure to myself with those losses. I guess any of these changes, physically and mentally should have been taken attention seriously before it gets worse. Well, with what I do, I limit myself and place my attention to another thing like watching movies and playing games and so far, it's helping me.
Most commonly it would really be in emotion issues on which i do really find myself on getting way too impulsive whenever i do lost money or certain bets even i do had already in mind that im ready
on losing my funds since it was really my intent since from the start but there are really some circumstances which cant really be avoided for you to make out reactions something like
this. In speaking with illnesses or other changes then for sure it would be mostly those old issues before you do make yourself engage with gambling and it is really just in coincidence
that gambling would really took all the blame.
2280  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Thank you Laszlo Hanyecz! Happy Bitcoin Pizza Day! on: May 23, 2022, 09:51:08 PM
I respected Laszlo for making this month a historic moment for every cryptocurrency enthusiast and even when he spent 10,000 BTC on pizza some members of this forum than have the thought that BTC he spent on pizza will become the world's first million dollar pizza before this day.

Laszlo 10,000BTC for 2 big pizzas then might sound ridiculous to some people now but his decision then makes others have interest in bitcoin and literally boost it's (BTC) value some months later.
Lots of people had been getting that kind of feeling of being upset knowing on how much he had spent out for a 2 big pizzas but if you were on his shoes and on that time that bitcoin value is almost nothing
then you wont really be boggling up your mind on spending it since you know that it does have some value and no one had predicted that it would really became a real big thing in the future.
Lets just set aside those money earning opportunity or investment issues and stick out on how Laszlo do able to create that kind of awareness that bitcoin could really be used
into those kind of transactions.
