I have been thinking about this lately, how can you tell the difference between currency and investment?
Because if you have something of value then you can trade it which makes it equal to a currency.
And when you have something that has value of currency only then you can turn it into an investment.
So currency or investment, both are the same.

It doesn't have anything to do with bitcoin, only as long as powerful people those who have access to advance technology to natural resources to the nations money and gold those who have or better say occupied this earth and took hostage the 90% of the population with arm forces are in position of power and in control of our lives, nothing will change.

And funny thing is they are holding on tight and still looking to see if the weak ones have any so they can some how take them as well.

Tell you this as sometimes I get my transaction confirmed in just 6 minutes but rarely my transactions are delayed and I could never find out the real reason for it, because I can see nodes are doing good and everything fine only takes time.

Yes bitcoin is safe because already established very well and there is no need to be worried.
Only thing you need to be worried though is altcoins, because some of them are not safe at all and you could lose your money.

Actually there are some good options out there but main question remains as they are not going to give you and me the chance to earn something worth our efforts.
But you should know it's a gamble and you could lose easily.
