1341  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why not both? Why not meet in the middle? on: March 24, 2017, 05:46:41 PM
Exchanging services/big companies managing the market for the cryptocurrency community will not recognize a hard fork of BU nature as a valid BTC even if it's the longest chain.
1342  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: TxTimer.com - Get notified when your Bitcoin transaction is confirmed on: March 24, 2017, 03:07:58 PM
Blockchain.info already providing this function/option e-mail and sms all for free without any deduction even if they want to they couldn't because they have no access to your funds. you could also receive notification if you import an address as a watch only.
1343  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-03-24]Bitcoin Unlimited Nodes Recover After Second Bug Exploit on: March 24, 2017, 04:55:31 AM
Just wondering what the hell did they change from the original source code that now they have to close their source to avoid more stinks to come about? from the looks of it BU says changing the block size is the answer and says nothing else about other issues, the same flaws and issues that made them change several factors and mess around with protocols, what were they and what is the Core suggestions/proposals to fix them?

I understand bitcoin being an open source and all but that is for people to review/inspect and check everything before running the software which was built using the same code absolutely without any change.

You going downloading the code and spend some lousy weekends to tailor it to suit your taste and agendas and have the audacity to come out and suggest everyone should do blindly follow your lead/trust you and execute the software.

You know what BU team and supporters should do? they need to spend time and find bugs/flaws/vulnerabilities in the Core version first to an extent of either Core's failure due to crappy design and coding or people see for themselves that Core it's not a good and reliable software and then you need to provide the best fixes/solutions for each flaw/bug that you've found in order for community to follow you as a friendly party wanting nothing other than the success of entire network as a whole and a cryptocurrency to thrive.

I'm sure if the first version which the founder(Satoshi) released was perfect enough that people started to make a thing out of it and I agree that things might have been changed along the way but so far evidence suggests that any changes Core applied to the code was to truly improve the system and the past 2 years are undeniable proof of superiority of the Core(original) version.

So please go and expand your table on some other cross section because we were here first and begging is our main job Cheesy
1344  Economy / Services / Re: I'm a writer looking for a job on: March 24, 2017, 02:32:35 AM
People barely read forum comments if they're longer than 2-3 lines, damn even D.Trump doesn't have the time and patience to read reports of country's affairs and presidential stuff and he hates them if they are more than 1 page or 10 lines, that should mean something right? a president's job is to read and read and read. anyways.

Funny that I learned basics and important things about bitcoin by reading a blog, 99% of all the blogs remain unseen unless you got some unique content and giving some useful information that actually can help people (readers) with their daily lives. don't sell yourself short though if you are worth it then you should get what you deserve.
1345  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where I can buy BU coins? (not btc) on: March 24, 2017, 12:42:50 AM
Silly topic and silly posts with silly answers, isn't there some logical and sane person asking what is wrong with more than 16M bitcoins mined with blocks smaller than 1MB and why did they reminded of a need to increase the block size and turn it into unlimited?

Lets rearrange/re-index/recreate the entire blockchain and start from genesis block and mine unlimited blocks from start eh?

What do you want more right now, low fees and increase of block size or a healthy and successful united currency/community?
Users don't want low fees and big blocks that would cost them negative 50% of their coin's value.

I've already cashed out from hash nest.
1346  Economy / Speculation / Re: BU gaining more adoption. Price crashing. on: March 24, 2017, 12:26:47 AM
Forking bitcoin is an economic suicide for the majority of miners(hash power owner(s)) right now community and all the users are mostly concerned about any possible hard fork they are not much concerned about the block size for anyone to use it as an excuse to split the chain and the development of bitcoin, it's not like Core team are implementing secret backdoors in code for BU team to sense a danger and saying we have to separate our ways.

Besides why would they want to interrupt the cash flow to their pockets? earning almost a million dollars and even more each day passes.
Forking would mean a minimum $500,000 loss of revenue per day for the 51%+ owners of mining power.
1347  Economy / Services / Re: Sell Shoutouts on: March 23, 2017, 11:52:54 PM
Funny that people sell what now? I wonder how could 100K or 50K people follow you who is selling their time and their attentions for $10 bucks?
They must've putted you on ignore or something(I never used instagram and never will probably).
Could you provide me with some comparisons? comparing the exposure in twitter/facebook/telegram.

Good to know: when facebook bought instagram for $1B google tried and offered telegram developer $1B as well but he refused since he is rich as f**k. people in my country are earning hundreds of thousands $$$ from advertising in their channels while millions joined and follow their channels daily, I think telegram will surpass facebook and most of the social media apps in registered users count by next 3 years.
1348  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to fund bitcoin wallet without bank account? Even possible? on: March 23, 2017, 11:35:35 PM
Thanks everyone for replies.  I have decided not to use bitcoin as it's much more hassle than I thought.  Glad I came here to ask questions first, since I never even heard of bitcoin until recently.  Old folks aren't hip.
Yeah you better go and listen to radio using petroleum Cheesy bitcoin is cutting edge futuristic technology not for every one but if you ever changed your mind better to find a local exchange(operating in your country jurisdiction, the ones if try to scam you could prosecute them in court of law) and then give them your bank account and ID though not the PIN and password lol, it's not easy to buy bitcoin using virtual credit cards(especially prepaid ones) unless someone trusts you enough or they might as well accept it but with a crazy fee, like they will take $100 from you and give you $70 in bitcoin.

You could also take advantage of mixing services which their sole purpose of existing is to help and provide clients with total anonymity.

Ps, use blockchain.info for the wallet part.

And you could check out the mixer in my signature for details. don't worry it's safe to click Cheesy
1349  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Satoshi... ? on: March 23, 2017, 04:24:19 PM
Why Satoshi doesn't express his opinion about BU, segwit, hard forks and other crucial things like these?

I think it would be very important to hear his voice and to know what he thinks about it, because those crucial things could even lead to a Bitcoin implosion.

But if he doesn't express his opinion maybe he just don't care about Bitcoin anymore or maybe he's already dead, as many people believe...

There are some programmers who have commented on this forum telling the community that Satoshi had actually programmed bitcoin blocks to increase but it was not followed and miners had followed other ways to increase blocksize. I am not sure if that post was legit but if that was true then probably satoshi was just watching from the corner and is selling his bitcoins one at a time.
Probably the same people trying to fork and split the network in half were the ones killed Satoshi while he was sleep Cheesy the window for him to show up and express his opinion about BU/SW and other versions and proposals is closing, bitcoin is on the brink of total manipulation and destruction will definitely follow. if he wanted that only his version dominate the network then he should've stayed and kept working on development, and if he doesn't show up 24 hours prior to the successful hard fork(hostile take over) then he is really dead indeed.

P.s, none of his coins ever been spent dude one at a time lol.
1350  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-03-23] Bitcoin spikes above $1,000 on: March 23, 2017, 03:58:51 PM
Well I wasn't awake during the below $1000 Cheesy so it doesn't count lol, actually any given price holding it's position more than 3 business days with only $5-$25 volatility in average should be considered a healthy and natural price, and hopefully antpool will stop the insanity before it's too late and we'll see what happens then because even then we'll need to think about scaling the network capacity for handling more than 10 transactions per second at least for this year.
1351  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BU is closed source??? WTF? on: March 23, 2017, 02:19:59 PM
So much for a version claiming to be in support of the open source bitcoin experiment, eh? however it matters not closed or open what is important is that they will not be able to get listed as BTC on any exchange and if they're planning to double spend their coins on both chains after any possible HF then here is the bad news: price will fall literally 50% before anyone have the chance to successfully grab the free cash, then of course go ahead and double spend to your teeth you'll still going to get the same amount of fiat.
If you want to hurt bitcoin join BU and fork since market won't trust bitcoin until another 7-8 years passes.
1352  Bitcoin / Project Development / 4K screenshots of block chain? on: March 23, 2017, 01:52:01 PM
Please don't bombard me with insults or think that I'm stupid, I just have an idea and simply want to know if it could be used in any way not just for bitcoin but for any thing what so ever.

Could we take snap shots/screen shots of the data in the block chain in a way that you could practically zoom in a couple of hundreds percent and see the data in such a way that you could take a screen shot of data with 200MB size but put it in a 40MB 4K resolution image/picture and hash the images in a block chain to make it so no one ever change or manipulate the pixels?

This is just pure concept without any technical details, I know that I have average IQ but I'm not in any way educated regarding computer languages/science.
1353  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What to do with the people who don't like Bitcoin? on: March 23, 2017, 12:43:04 PM
A cat saw a piece of meat but he couldn't reach it so he said pfff it stinks anyways, problem with many people they don't understand they simply don't get it, when price was at $1000 just 3 days ago I told my dad: hey dad why don't you buy 10 bitcoins just for a test I promise you that it'll rise much higher than this and he said: Nah I'm good, but when price went above $1100 I told him about it and he said: WOW I wish I'd listened to you.
Though he understands the concept and the importance of bitcoin but he's hard wired that way and he will never dare to risk anything just sits back and watches as great opportunities passing by the minute.
1354  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: myetherwallet.com is down? on: March 23, 2017, 11:39:39 AM
Even if they're down you shouldn't put your transactions on hold since you have the private keys to your addresses, they  are just like bitaddress.org somehow providing the ability to generate addresses plus letting you to do transactions as well.
1355  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin to 1400 on: March 23, 2017, 11:28:16 AM
Now price is at $1052 and despite the forking news and unpredictable fluctuations bitcoin been able to hold it's natural order of growth, last natural price was at $930-$970 if you remember until the ETF news kicked in and the uptrend started then hf news kicked in and down we came.
If you ever wondered this is now the bitcoin without any manipulations, completely natural and growing slowly as difficulty increases.
1356  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: How does merged mining work? Will we be able to merge mine BTC/BTU post fork? on: March 22, 2017, 07:52:09 PM
Can some tech gurus come out to enlighten me please?
Congratulation you just posted +1 more than your activity Cheesy that must've be hard for you, merge mine my a*s lol after BU takes over with hostile approach it will prove to the community that the changing of POW algo/mechanism/protocol are indeed necessary and with the support of the community Core will implement many changes to avoid any such attacks and then you could go and merge mine with all the other s*itcoins and have a nice sleep at night thinking you earned some profit.
1357  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Fixed income with BTC trading? on: March 22, 2017, 06:55:40 PM
There are actually many times that even the most experienced and skillful traders lose significant amounts and only their past earned profits helps them to recover, I'm talking from my own experience Cheesy when I have a good run in a week and earn $2400 by spending 40 hours on different exchanges as much good that is and sounds, other times I've lost $2000 in just a day, with different markets and lots of opportunities to chose from sometimes you get caught in big whales games and if you're not super careful then game over.

That is the case with most traders when they fail they quit trading thinking it's not made for them.
1358  Economy / Speculation / Re: Possibility of Fork ever closer ??! on: March 22, 2017, 11:50:23 AM
There will be no hard fork, they're not idiots to destroy the name of bitcoin, there is no more a group of few individuals pumping and dumping and deciding everything like hundreds of altcoins out there, this is billions of dollars we're dealing here the stakes are extremely higher than any cryptocurrency.
I doubt if big miners ever risk their 12.5BTC at least every 30 minutes average, if they fork their chain will become a new alt coin and their price will drop to zero in no time and they've already lost block rewards something like $40,000/Hour so either they will continue to mine their new alt coin with much less market value or join back the main chain, but why would they risk that in the first place?
1359  Economy / Gambling / Re: QuantumDice.com - Bitcoin Dice | 0.5% House Edge | Fastest Dice Site on: March 22, 2017, 11:20:32 AM
1 post with a brand new account to announce an online gambling service copying designs from already existed and reputable casino, those are the red colors just like in nature when you see red you try to keep your distance and not engage, no thanks.
1360  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: blockchain.info stopped sending me notice e-mail on incoming BTC on: March 22, 2017, 07:28:42 AM
I'm using their SMS notification and every time I receive bitcoin and even some times when I send out some coins I get SMS on my phone.
Times when I'm online at my wallet and then receiving the same time I don't get any SMS because I'm staring right at my transaction Cheesy
Some times it happens emails get lost or never reach their destinations, you should disable and re enable the option in your wallet to see if that fixes it.
