1481  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin provide income on line? on: March 04, 2017, 05:12:48 AM
Well, you don't need to verify your age and identification to receive bitcoin or altcoins and that is one of the reasons for cryptocurrencies success.
And that's why some times you can see 4-5 people with different signatures post in a thread but with the same level of understanding and they literally contribute nothing to the community other than just talking.
On a daily basis thousands of dollars being paid to hundreds of people here in bitcoin and altcoin but most of them advertising scam/garbage services and never actually advertise for the service that they wearing their signatures, and there is no ethics/morality when it comes to ICOs Cheesy
Bitcoin provided me a good income online and it helps me a lot with my financial needs. It can be a sustainable source of a fiat money cash that can be spend on things I needed for living specially for food and transportation for my current job nowadays.

No doubt that bitcoin provided us some good online income. And since we are in bitcoin, we can see the great value of each bitcoin and if you manage to earn one BTC a month then surely you are earning higher than working on a factory. If op is quite curious where the producers obtain bitcoin, it's very simple it's either they worked for it, mined or bought it.
Or they might have stole them by scamming in various ways.
1482  Other / Archival / Re: Do you agree with idea "Bitcoin bank" ? on: March 04, 2017, 04:48:02 AM
If a company/organization can ensure the security of the funds and offers a good interest rate than all other fiat based banks, I'd definitely support the idea and will deposit my coins to grow them securely. They'll need to put some gold and lands somewhere as a collateral though.
1483  Economy / Speculation / Re: Looks like we are going to test $1,300+ on: March 04, 2017, 02:15:11 AM
We have recent Canadian farm and Bitmain farm to thank for price increased past month not the ETF, people admitting that ETF is not going to be approved so I doubt if they buy in with a low probability of approval. I don't think having a price more than $1300 is a safe and wise move.
Price should go back to $1150 for a while.
People are waiting to see if others will going to give bitcoins value by investing large amounts but that is just wrong, you should think for yourself whether or not bitcoin has any value to you and if it does then don't wait for others.
1484  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will BTC overtake gold this month ? on: March 04, 2017, 02:01:39 AM
Bitcoin itself is more valuable than gold digitally no matter if price is $100 or $10000. do you think any government allows you to go and mine gold all by yourself? nope, you can however mine bitcoin and just like when you go to sell gold to receive cash you can sell bitcoin even more conveniently and easily from anywhere just by having a laptop or cellphone.
1485  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Looking to exchange BTC for freshly mined BTC on: March 02, 2017, 10:24:51 PM
Does anyone offer a service to exchange BTC for freshly mined coins?

Thanks
What do you want to do with them? it reminds me of near new years in my country where elders and parents going to bank to get unfolded money bills to gift children and each other on the new year's eve.
Directly contacting pools via their support tickets should be of any help, and also they become second handed after sending out from the address which was used to mine them. another option would be for you to pay miners so they can set your address(s) in that way coins directly is transferred to your address without having any inputs.
1486  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If Satoshi reveals himself, what would be of Bitcoin? on: March 02, 2017, 10:02:16 PM
We really need him, community needs him badly, there is no need for him to show his face and become a showman just becomes active here in this forum or the new forum where they can ensure the total security and anonymity by spending 1BTC from the first 100 mined blocks so that we know it's not an impostor.
It'll definitely help and speed up the development that is for sure.
1487  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dash lost $ 120 Million in last 4 hours. Congrats fools on: March 02, 2017, 09:18:39 PM
This genesis mining though, I had 0.4 dash 20 days ago and now I see that I only received 0.004 while daily payout supposed to be 0.01.
And when people say PUMP and DUMP it means pump and dump not figuratively but literally:D
1488  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 200,000,000 USD is being transfered daily using bitcoin! on: March 02, 2017, 06:16:53 PM
On their own that number is making me gasp in awe. The thing is, it is nowhere near where standard payment processors are.
I would like to see how much daily transactions are done using VISA, PayPal, Amazon Payments and other services.
Also statistics of other cryptocurrencies would be nice: Ethereum, Ripple, Dash. Litecoin. Where to find it?
https://coinmarketcap.com/
All those payment processors you mentioned are private companies owned by private sectors of powerful countries such as US.
While transferring/investing/trading altcoins is no where near profitable, this kind of volumes for bitcoin shows that there is a potential to buy and sell at least 70% of the daily volume if you are just a single investor/whale.
1489  Economy / Economics / Re: Remember when Bitcoin reached parity with the $ it's now just passed Gold on: March 02, 2017, 06:04:51 PM
Bitcoin is now worth more Gold.  I can remember when it was a big deal when it reached parity with the US Dollar.  And now it is way beyond the dollar, do you think that we will be looking back in 8 years and saying "remember when Bitcoin reached parity with gold" and at that time it will be way beyond that.  Next thing is 1 BTC reaches parity with the Dow.   Shocked

Well saying "remember when Bitcoin reached parity with gold" is from my point of view strange because gold is a type of material and you can get it in different sizes. So do you refer to 1kg/1oz/one specific type of coin/... ?

I think the only valid way to tell what is worth more is it to put the 21 million BTC available in relation to the whole amount of gold on the world (which is hard to tell because there is still some under the earth) and of course put that in relation to the price.

PS: i know you relate to xau, just saying
Just as expected and predicted, I know you can hold gold in your hand but you should consider that there are hundreds of millions invested solely to protect the integrity and security of bitcoin's blockchain, I'm talking about the miners, so there are actually physical infrastructure backing the whole network.
And yes we'll be even more proud and wealthy 8 years from now, bitcoin is truly a phenomenal event and no longer just an idea, take the recent debates about serious improvements to the network even with them being an advantage and an improvement to further the development into the future yet proven to be extremely difficult to simply talk about something and immediately doing it. all the nodes and miners resisting for change until seeing some practical support from the community.
1490  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin Price Betting on: March 02, 2017, 07:23:41 AM
People are making money in millions doing this, however I wonder how does it work as which exchange price is the base reference price or the average price is taken? if average price is the base then you going to have a very big whale in order to manipulate at least 5 major exchanges prices all at the same time.
Another method would be selecting the last digit of a price in every 5 seconds like you bet that after 5 seconds price will have a 1 at the end like $1191.
It all goes back to the old fashion dice and just a matter of mathematics only painted in an exciting strategy.
1491  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Posibility of a free bitcoin mixer on: March 02, 2017, 07:04:04 AM
~snip~

Any thoughts,
That we call dash coin eh? then we need to change POW to POS, that is artificial mixing while BitMixer.io does this literally and naturally.
That is altcoin entirely designed to do the job of a mixing service while it doesn't have the name Bitcoin and doesn't have a market capital of $20B.
Look at bitcoin's adoption and altcoin's adoption rates, that is a costly free service you got there.
1492  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are Chinese bitcoin investors that gullible? on: March 02, 2017, 05:44:49 AM
This is just another story mentioning someone got arrested and went to prison simply because was involved with bitcoin, I'd strongly suggest to ignore any information on this thread because a homeless man can get arrested and go to prison due to involvement with begging for paper money Cheesy
And about ICO, why would you offer coins to people if you know you can succeed? yes ICO usually puts the risks of failure on investors.
1493  Economy / Services / Re: Hiring: Bitcointalk Campaign Manager on: March 02, 2017, 05:36:02 AM
Damn if I knew I could start a sh*t storm Cheesy OP wants the said manager to take over his red tagged account and manages those campaigns with it, so no one will actually know who has accepted to do the job and OP's account is already tagged.
There is a good reason why BitMixer pays thousands of $ weekly to participants, they are earning 10 folds back because they are the only trusted and serious mixer service in the world.
Paying a few hundreds bucks to twitter multi accounts or paying to create social media accounts is not an indicator of legitimacy.
I can not find a compelling reason for any one to use any service other than BitMixer.io when you don't have a headache no need to pop a pill Smiley
1494  Economy / Services / Re: Hiring: Bitcointalk Campaign Manager on: March 02, 2017, 03:37:24 AM
I am sure that lenny_ pays his workers generously. I've noticed his threads around BitcoinTalk and most people post good feedback on his jobs.

lenny_ has a bunch of threads, I am not sure why there is people with no trust/haven't completed a Signature Campaign Manager trying to apply for this job position.

This job requires a bunch of work so for those trying to apply -make sure that you know what you are doing.

lenny_, I would just recommend that you have a someone who has more experience in managing campaigns like DarkStar_.
Did you read the second post here? he already called this a scandal and recommended to others not to take this job, however I doubt if such services could compete with the best mixer(aka BitMixer.io) anyways as there are thousands of posts every day on this forum and for a service to be seen 50 or even 80 people wearing a signature is not enough any more.

1496  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: As the price of a single bitcoin gets further and further out of reach..... on: March 01, 2017, 06:56:35 PM
You have to decide NOW how many bitcoins will make you rich in the future because it's getting to the point where an upper middle class American or European can no longer buy a full bitcoin.

Anyone have any ideas how many you'll need to be rich in 2020 and 2025?
IMO Bitcoins are nolonger an attractive entry point of investment for any crypto enthusiasts looking to invest for a long time, but I would suggest buying altcoins that show potential to grow and will payoff in the long run as demand for them keeps growing.

But then again bitcoins are full of surprises and have the potential to pay handsomely regardless of what price you buy them for. Lets buy what we can afford, we can be rich one day.
Sure go ahead and buy millions of sh*t coins for your grandchildren Cheesy when price was under $500 just less than 6 months ago anyone bought even half a million bitcoins now could've sold out all 500kBTC double or more of the price within just a week.
Currently there are thousands of millionaires familiar with crypto but what is stopping them from hoarding and stashing bitcoins today?
Fear, and that is the main reason for them not to invest heavily by accumulating coins over time, but future belongs to the bold and fearless people not skeptics and cowards.
1497  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Advantages of bitcoin cloud mining on: March 01, 2017, 02:03:13 PM
Can you explain to me why did you mined with S9s for almost 3 months before making it available and sell their hash power in cloud contracts?
1498  Economy / Speculation / Re: Despite all the FUD Bitcoin proved to be worth it! on: March 01, 2017, 01:47:18 PM
Bitcoin did prove to be worth the investor safe haven for the time being. I am not sure if the price per Bitcoin will increase further because of the whole issue of the ETF and the sudden price rise baiting the people who hold the coin to dump within the markets.

I have a feeling that the price of Bitcoin is at a high level only because of the stuck Blockchain causing people to spend less coins within a certain time-frame.
I laughed so hard I almost died Cheesy do you really think for some one trying to transfer hundreds of thousands dollars in bitcoin half a buck or $1 is anything to pay as a fee for 10 minutes confirmation? blockchain stuck with unconfirmed transactions is mostly spam/faucet dust/financially poor people, otherwise there has never been any issue in the network if the recommended fees were paid.
Last 24 hours volume around $152M almost 10 times the daily mined coins. that could mean if you buy $100M in BTC you can sell without any problem tomorrow.
Your feelings are betraying you.

I am happy that the price is high, but nothing has really changed in the last few months!
No ETF, no bigger block size, higher fees, no greater acceptance, no new regulations.

The price is high though, so that is good!

I'm pretty certain that mining makes exactly no sense unless you get free electricity. If you want Bitcoin, then buy them, it is quicker and less risky than mining, leave that to the farms.
What do you have to say about miners who started mining 2 years ago? if they considered it as investing and would've kept their bitcoins electricity cost was meaningless now that they could sell at these prices.
Why I say mining is good now? because a few month from now difficulty will increase as well as the price. so mining now and holding your mined coins makes sense.
Exactly, nothing really happened but still price increasing. another thing to consider, bitcoin resist any changes small or big that indicates how hard it is to manipulate the system.
1499  Economy / Speculation / Despite all the FUD Bitcoin proved to be worth it! on: March 01, 2017, 01:08:36 PM
Bitcoin now worth $1200 with all the FUD and hatred with all the negative opinions about bitcoin, it's performance during past 3 months has proven that bitcoin is a serious currency with a bright future.
BEAT THAT!
Almost $20B market capital, literally from zero to hero Cheesy I don't see those idiots always talked about $200 is the real price any more.
Now mining makes more sense than ever.
1500  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: If mining gets unprofitable will it expose the system to 51% attacks? on: February 28, 2017, 05:08:58 PM
There are currently 5 major mining pools that are somehow miner manufacturers themselves and they thirst for each other's blood, they're constantly upgrading their hash power and will never let others to take over, even if they do it's in their best interest to stay honest and keep the wheels rolling.
And btw mining will never become unprofitable unless the whole system collapses and in an open source project essentially there are no collapses.

It's like the time line theory where the straight line goes for ever and you can't cross it or break it only you can fork and create a parallel time line in our case another version.
