2281  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you lose on slots? on: April 12, 2023, 09:25:55 PM
I wonder if OP has success even a small success in playing these slots these are actually a good strategy
like this one
Quote
4. avoid playing slots from Pragmatic and Gamomat as they tend to have low payout percentages and are not as likely to result in big wins.
5. be careful when playing slots from Belatra and Spinomenal as they can be unpredictable and may not always pay out as expected.
Many of us do not know this and it takes a serious slot player to check the details many of us play hoping to win and not checking the details.

But the best strategy for me although it may not guarantee a win, but it guarantees that you will not go home frustrated is this
Quote
1. always set a budget for playing slots and stick to it. do not chase losses or try to win back what you have lost by playing more.

But overall whatever strategy you employ the most important is you enjoy the game win or lose you are comfortable with it.
2282  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits limiting winners on minor leagues on: April 12, 2023, 03:09:32 PM
I can think of a few reasons why casinos limit people's accounts.
  • Preventing problem gambling: Casinos are responsible for protecting their customers from gambling addiction. By setting limits on how much money customers can bet, they can help prevent problem gambling.
  • Protecting their profits: Casinos are businesses that need to make a profit to survive. By setting limits on how much money customers can bet, they can protect their profits and ensure that they stay in business.
  • Compliance with regulations: Many jurisdictions require casinos to limit how much money customers can bet. This ensures that the casino operates within the law and is not facilitating money laundering or other illegal activities.

Duelbits may have had a reason why they limiting OP's account but we all know casinos are profit-driven platforms they will let you gamble as long as your account is not questionable so your point number two is the one that is likely the reason.
Casinos will not hesitate to restrict your account when you are beating them but will encourage you to wager more if you are an unlucky player.

2283  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't buy altcoins because they are top altcoins on: April 12, 2023, 01:32:02 PM
Coins like, Peercoin, Namecoin, Feathercoin, World coin, and Novacoin are all the best shitcoins of their time, you can't use them to compare with Polygon Matic and Cardano, real use case and better adoption is what keeps coins at the top ranks that's why BNB and ETH will always be on top 10.

We can learn from these top past coins turn shitcoins, by tracing who among these top coins now that are the potential to be shitcoins, adoption, community support, and dedicated developers are what keep these top coins from turning to shitcoins.
These top coins turn shitcoins are just clones of Bitcoin or they have an obsolete chain, investors should not be contented with the top coins they are holding because history always repeats itself, and you don't want any coins in your portfolio to become shitcoins even if they are performing well in the current market.
2284  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Wagering requirements for withdraw on: April 12, 2023, 11:03:59 AM

5x is insane. Which casino? 1x is normal.

Gamblers should be aware of this that there are casinos that require that number of wagering, 5x is not reasonable the possibility of losing is very high before you reach that requirement although this is not an accusation its good that OP posted it for our awareness 1 or 2x times is already good but its better than OP named it this is a big trap and will hostage your money before you can withdraw your earnings.

This is one reason why you have to read the casinos' TOS it may be a long read because some casinos have a long TOS but it will get you out of a possible trap in the future.
2285  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tilt in gambling on: April 11, 2023, 11:46:56 PM
Have you experienced tilt over the long game?  How have you dealt with it?  How do you think you can gamble with a cool head, and how do you make yourself a good brake inside)   And why do people in general like to gamble? Huh  I never thought I would enjoy gambling) I remember playing cards for change with my cousin as a child, it was very funny when she lost, fell on the table and shouted that it was all mine) Grin

It's normal because you are playing with your emotion, you are not a bot that will just take whatever the results are, that is why we have a thing called chasing your losses because you have lost your emotion and you become aggressive in getting back your losses.
Composure while gambling can only be learned over the years of playing and learning how to control one's self, it's always better to stop from time to time to develop the habit of not to emotionally involved in gambling.
2286  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [New] Cryptocurrency logos database on: April 11, 2023, 03:05:35 PM
You've done well to create this resource, a similar one already exists at CryptoLogos.cc however. If you want your resource to be chosen over others, I would recommend adding some points of difference and becoming a little more active in the forum, and/or create some discussion as to how you can make your resource more useful for people in comparison to other ones like Cryptologos.cc.

It's not a logo-dedicated platform it's an article-based platform this is their homepage
https://coinpaper.com/ They just added it as an additional resource to make their site a good resource but I just wonder why OP did not create a menu for visibility how would first-time visitors know that they have a page dedicated for Crypto logos when that page is not in their menu.
2287  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are lotteries really a good way to engage with gamblers? on: April 11, 2023, 02:01:51 PM
Hi everyone.
Maybe some of you have noticed that we are quite active on the forum, trying our best to offer bitcointalk gamblers interesting promotions.
We at MegaPari got used to a format of a lottery - we ask players to fulfill certain requirements and collect their IDs in order to pick winners for rewards.
Yes, I've seen how active you are here in Bitcointalk and you know what it takes to be on top and you are ready for the challenge, one proof is your signature campaign and addressing issues when there's complaint.

Quote
First they were some bonus offerings, now we are also giving away "physical prizes" - a luxurious vacation or even a Lamborghini crossover. (details in our ANN thread, btw).
But here what concerns me - I think we need to move to a more engaging way of communicating with the audience while  running such campaigns.
This is a good initiative not all casinos can and will do what you're doing it's a clear sign that you are a
top-level casino and you are dedicated to building trust from your players

Would you guys mind sharing your vision on the following:
-Do you personally take part in lotteries by online casinos? : Sometimes I do when I am qualified to be part, based on my activity and rank
-Do you track the progress and results of such campaigns? : Yes of course if I am part of the lottery I should monitor the progress and the results
-If so, are there any changes you would offer to make lotteries more exciting?
Everything depends on the prizes, if you're offering vacation and hotel accommodation that's already a big attraction become part of the lotteries.

2288  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: sinbad-mixer.io is this a clone site? on: April 10, 2023, 11:31:51 PM

Yes some times i searched one big name especially crypto related and google searched Phishing sites for me. two times i was decieved and i lost some $ also in these Phishing sites. Its very very important to open website from official source (Bitcointalk ANN, Twitter, discord, Coinmarketcap)
Search engine results can be manipulated especially if you're using Google Chrome without safety parameters, if you're a user of the site its important that you bookmarked the site, you can also use a good anti-virus that can trace phishing site, there are also extensions to trace phishing sites but in my case, I limit the use of extension, but awareness is very important if it involves money you have to double check if you are on the right site.
2289  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Rigged Game on: April 10, 2023, 11:00:16 PM
There are many problems that are affecting online casinos either due to been illegal operations or fraud cases like

Fake Advert, Payment Problems, Spamming Gamblers etc

But one comes in mind that I can't get rid of, those that Rigged their games, I don't know if people actually know that some online casinos Rigged their games, like the Aztec casino that was labeled a scam casino for example.

My question is how can one know that their game is rigged? If you play over 20 games and you lose it all, no one will believe you if you say that their is something wrong with the platform because truthfully as a gambler you have to lose, so what way can you actually know that a casino game is been rigged?
For me I always  have this feeling of games being rigged when I have experience lost on many tries on virtual games like soccer, it will feel as if you know the games and the correct outcome when you are winning but when the losses starts coming it will be like the odds have being altered or the results are been changed by someone in the system main stream. But it's all natural because it's was design to operate so, we win and most times lose.

That I agree you can't be losing all the time, for many hours on many days, but you should at least experience winning, one of the ways to analyze a game if it is rigged is to check your betting or game history and check if there are anomalies in them like you still have balance then all of a sudden its wipe out when based on your computation it doesn't add up.
Casinos with good reputations will not rig their games, it's hard to defend your reputation if you are accused of rigging your games when you already have an edge over the players.
2290  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 𝕥𝕙𝕖 𝕘𝕒𝕞𝕖 𝟚𝟘𝟜𝟠 𝕚𝕟 𝕘𝕒𝕞𝕓𝕝𝕚𝕟𝕘 on: April 10, 2023, 09:18:00 PM

in this game you have to move the dice by increasing the numbers

The first time I read about this game and it was not on any casino that I'm playing, and you did not give us the name of the casino where you're playing this game I have no idea how this game is played, like all the other comments here if this game is a skill-based game which is very likely the majority of the casinos will not adopt it or included it in their list of games.
Those who are good in math and mental calculation will simply have an edge in this game, can you tell me your experience here and your success rate here in this game?
2291  Economy / Gambling / Re: Blockchain Casinos - Consumer's Choice 2023! on: April 10, 2023, 12:34:09 PM
With a huge user base, sponsorships and the best choice of VIPs, and of course wide reach marketing Stake is a runaway winner, but the number of casinos listed here is very limited you should include as many casinos, As all those casinos listed are not really blockchain-based they are all centralized so that means all casinos here that are centralized can be included but you should expand to at least ten casinos.
2292  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Times When Casinos Will Ask Certificate That You Are A Responsible Gambler on: April 10, 2023, 10:42:47 AM
This will literally kill the goose that lays a golden egg, the Cryptocurrency casino industry thrives on anonymity and privacy even if it's for specific players it will harm the casinos, they will prefer to play on unregulated casinos just to protect their privacy, and if I'm a casino operator I will protect players that sustain the profit of the casinos.
Casinos have a lot of reminders about playing responsibly and it's not beyond their control if gamblers go beyond their limit.
KYC should only be to trace cheaters not to be used on how we play as a player and our character when playing.
2293  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [POLL] Using AI to predict outcomes on: April 09, 2023, 11:19:11 PM

AIs analyzing sports accurately may really destroy sports gambling. I can only see gamblers relying much on it to make money, the lazier we become since it's like having a glimpse of the future result.

If the development of AIs continues there will come a time when these developers can create a perfect AI that can actually predict results in sports betting and many casinos will be in trouble, even newbies in sports betting can beat the house and this is not good for the industry.

Quote
What about the protest of Elon that AI development must be stopped?  I was watching the news about it recently that government may actually prohibit the further development of AIs.
He is right in calling for that because there's a risk for society many will lose their jobs and will be replaced by these AI, there could be a time when industries will heavily dependent on AI because its cheap and industries can save a lot, I have seen this scene in one of the series of the movie Terminator.

2294  Other / Meta / Re: Messages for deleted posts - from 4 years ago? on: April 09, 2023, 01:26:30 PM

I have experienced the deletion of old posts and some new posts. It is the moderators decision if they find any post irrelevant or if it is something that can cause spamming in the forum they will delete it. Your reply from that post will be deleted as well because of post deletion. You should not worry about those deleted posts as most of them were harmful for this forum and its users.

As long as it is visible here in Bitcointalk it will be visible on the internet and it will show up in the search engine, so posts that have no substance or are considered spam and redundant should be deleted, so when it comes to reference on any subjects about Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency related subjects those topics and discussion will come out and readers will appreciate the flow of the conversion.
So always check your posts and be sure that its relevant to the topic and is not redundant to avoid deletion.
2295  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Shakur Stevenson vs Shuichiro Yoshino April 8 on: April 09, 2023, 12:11:54 PM

This fight was made in order for Shakur to look good and they were successful as he dominated and toyed the Japanese Yoshino but still Top Rank will be having trouble finding Shakur an opponent that could earn him the respect of the boxing community, don't get me wrong but with Shakur fighting a nobody in the lightweight division is so boring to watch but I hope that it will change in his next few fights.

This is a bad fight and a bad preparation if he is going to fight whoever wins between Loma and Haney,
the match is very one-sided I thought I was watching a match between a professional and an amateur, Yoshino I believe is an unbeaten fighter but he is nowhere on the level of Shakur, this is the kind of fight that the boxing community will not watch even buy a ticket his promoters should give him a real challenge this is as easy as a walk in a park.
2296  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A Thought On Gambling Strategies on: April 09, 2023, 10:56:00 AM
I think people don't understand that there is no strategy in gambling. Gamble but consider your spendings on it as an entertainment expense. Got luck on your side and won? Good. If you don't you still had fun.

Its a fact and it's hard to change that and nobody will succeed in changing this fact, the casino works in a way that they have an edge and it will come to play anytime, you may be lucky when you started but as the game drags on the house will show his edge, you will be off and you will be wiped out.
Casinos on their terms clearly stated that they are an entertainment portal and reminds all their player to only use money that they can afford to lose and they promote responsible gambling.
If you're chasing your losses then you're not a responsible gambler.
2297  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC Fight Night & Main Event: Sportsbet.io Predictions & discussion on: April 09, 2023, 06:03:30 AM

I think the reason for him talking back was because of all the trash talk thrown at him.
Well now, he proved it. He worked hard, he grind and pushed himself to his limits, that's what he said post-fight with Joe Rogan.
With this win, he shuts out all haters who questioned his greatness what he did is just the right way to get back all the frustration way back on their first fight, he is actually winning in all the first three fights until he got caught with that left hook, now its Alex to get caught by that counter punch.

Quote
He is the champion once again and I doubt there will be anyone who would try again. Pereira might, but he should strategize first. We all saw how he almost knocked him out in the first round of their last fight, he was just saved by the bell. Now, it's round 2. Being knocked down twice that early has a lot to say.
His chin is weak and worse he is a boxer who relies on his hook.
I really thought Izzy will be using his grappling skills but to my surprise, he didn't even make an attempt and ended it with a punch.
Its 3 to 1 so Izzy still has two losses to even up but if there is a third fight here in UFC and he did the same thing, that will be over and will establish Izy as the better fighter between the two although, in the minds of the majority, he really is a better fighter because he is still the favorite going into this fight.

2298  Economy / Gambling / Re: onikabet.com No working live support, can't withdraw my funds either. on: April 09, 2023, 02:51:02 AM
Hi there,

This website seems to me to be a total scam, live support ain't working, i tried to withdraw my funds almost 2 days ago, i can't even see it updating or processing at all on the website.

The live chat, is just a bot that keeps asking and answering and same useless things. Don't use this website, it's pure scam.

If it is a scam based on your experience then it's better to open an accusation in the scam section just follow the right format and upload all your evidence, this is to warn others OP is not active anymore here and I don't see him as the official representative of this casino, I would not even think of playing here checking the internet for additional information there's not much information on this casino there are a few reviews but you can easily figure out that these are paid reviews it's out of the radar of legit casino reviewers and I like to think that OP just got paid for posting it here.
People should think twice about playing in an unknown casino, marketing is essential for casinos.
2299  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Rollbit hold funds and ignore in chat on: April 08, 2023, 09:43:34 PM
I re-uploaded all the images for everyone to see, you're readiness to do a video call for account verification is good so hopefully, Rollbit will address this issue, it's not good if they keep ignoring these issues there are already active accusations on Rollbit in the past weeks and they have had issues on the license too.

2300  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Martingale strategy in casinos on: April 08, 2023, 08:40:26 PM
Martingale strategy in casinos. How do you feel about it?

My little experience sometimes comes with a good result) but more often the result is negative
I already dumped it, like you I sometimes have good results but most of the time I'm frustrated with the results, if you're using a martingale and thinking of making a profit, better forget this idea it just won't work if you cannot keep up with a bankroll you'll end up losing everything.
Martingale's scheme looks good on logic if you double up you could end up recovering all your previous losses, but you also have to consider that the losing streak could go as high as 20, this is how I lose a huge portion of the token I got from the bounty campaign, it hurts because I could have used that token for staking.
