"Wang Wenbin: The China-Russia relationship is built on the basis of non-alignment, non-confrontation and non-targeting at any third party. It is a factor conducive to world peace and stability, which is no cause for concern. What is truly concerning is the destructive role the US has played to peace and stability in the world.

The US is the No.1 warmonger in the world. The US was not at war for only 16 years throughout its 240-plus years of history. The US accounted for about 80 percent of all post-WWII armed conflicts.

The US is also the No.1 violator of sovereignty and interferer in the internal affairs of other countries. According to reports, since the end of WWII, the US has sought to subvert more than 50 foreign governments, grossly interfered in elections in at least 30 countries and attempted assassination on over 50 foreign leaders.

The US is also the No.1 source of antagonism and bloc confrontation. The US-led NATO is responsible for wars on Afghanistan, Iraq and Syria that killed more than 900,000 and created 37 million refugees. It has also made the Eurasia continent a less stable place. The impact of US-initiated Quad and AUKUS on Asia-Pacific security and stability also calls for vigilance.

As long as US hegemonism and belligerence still exists, the rest of world will hardly get the peace it deserves."

Propaganda, or is the Chinese press secretary lying?

2303  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: SEC vs Binance on: February 26, 2023, 12:46:21 PM
One of the possible scenarios:
The US government is forcing all crypto exchanges to buy US bonds with customer dollars.
As soon as crypto exchanges have a huge portfolio of bonds, a huge FUD is created in the market.
The US government is buying back its bonds at a huge discount, the price of cryptocurrencies is falling. Stablecoins are losing their peg to the dollar.
2304  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Russia To Ban Cryptocurrencies on: February 25, 2023, 06:32:54 PM
Also, Russia is in an indirect war with the US and the western world, so they will never abandon bitcoin, rather if they need to abandon any currency, it will be the US dollar.
I would say differently. Someone in the world decided that the US should remain the world's military power and financial sector. The US problem is that their economy is starting to lose to the economies of China, India and other countries to the south. And if your economy is losing, then you are losing. Europe is good technology, Russia has a lot of resources, China, India, Africa, Indonesia have a lot of cheap labor, so the new world financial center will be there. The conflict between Russia and Ukraine has a strong impact on the European economy, large enterprises are starting to flee to the United States. There are wars in African countries where China invests, and it is not difficult for you to understand who the main beneficiary is. If I'm right, then in the next few years there will be a military conflict between China and Taiwan.

This is what the US want the world to remain busy in their own problems and the US and their currency US dollar remain dominant in the world.

If you can read the script with a thought full mind, it is like the two emerging superpowers Russia and China to remain busy in the conflict with Ukraine and Taiwan.

Anyways this is not a political discussion thread, but I must say that the real threat to the US dollar will be inflation which is increasing in US making the currency de-value and adoption of bitcoin around the world.
I try to talk about economic aspects. The difference between the United States and all countries is that they can print dollars, so they are not in danger of a crisis. Try to imagine what will happen in other countries if there is a serious crisis in the USA.
Bitcoin, Ethereum are manipulated assets. Most of the bitcoin was bought and mined by very cunning manipulators, 72 million coins were printed in the ethereum.
If you want mass adoptions, then they will give it to you, and then the bankers will collapse the cryptocurrency rates on the exchanges and you yourself will demand controllable blockchains and СBDС.
2305  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: New world order or CBDC against cryptocurrencies on: February 25, 2023, 06:18:32 PM
Only thanks to these events, the cryptocurrency in Nigeria became the second national currency. The shadow market cannot be liquidated in this way. Even if cryptocurrencies are banned, barter will appear.

At this point, it's almost certain that cash is on its way out globally. When it happens, crypto is well-positioned to naturally take its place. That's why I expect a major crackdown on crypto to follow shortly after CBDCs are implemented. I don't expect they will just allow crypto to thrive and grow uncontrollably, if they won't straight up ban it, they'll make it really hard to use (by restrictions, taxes and reporting requirements) to keep it contained.

I think that the central banks of your countries will take into account the mistakes in Nigeria and will lure users into this ecosystem with good bonuses.

I think so too. Boiling the frog etc. UK announced that their CBDC will likely come with a limit that one person can hold of £10k-£20k, to prevent people abandoning traditional banks all at once.

BTW, it's kind of funny how's there literally zero resistance from the all-powerful banking sector, knowing that CBDC will likely to cripple their operations. Really makes you ponder 🤔
And all central banks are subject to a single regulator: the Bank for International Settlements and the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision. Therefore, all banks will follow their recommendations. Even in Russia, which breaks all world records for sanctions, but fulfills these requirements.

https://help.1inch.io/en/articles/6766865-what-is-1inch-rabbithole-protection-and-how-does-it-work
"What is 1inch RabbitHole?
RabbitHole is a custom RPC feature that protects Metamask users from front-running (aka 'sandwich attacks), directly within the 1inch user interface. It sends 1inch swap transactions directly to validators, allowing them to avoid the Ethereum mainnet mempool and the prying eyes of MEV bots hunting for victims. Currently the validators include Flashbots, BloXroute, Eden, and Manifold.

RabbitHole is designed as a layer between 1inch-Metamask users and Ethereum validators. It is very similar to the Flashbots feature but will only send users transactions to validators directly if there is a threat of sandwich attacks."

MINIMA  Grin

https://docs.minima.global/docs/about/tokendistribution

https://docs.minima.global/docs/about/whatisminima

Only on official bridges you have to wait 7 days to withdraw funds from Optimistic Rollup. There are other projects that have already reduced these terms a long time ago.
Look at these projects, with them the procedure for exchanging tokens between different layers and ecosystems is much faster.

I have a good amount of btc that I'm very pleased with. I love btc. Are there any other coins you guys could recommend I buy next? (none of your comments count as financial advice)
Bitcoin is a safe investment now, but there is one problem. If you have 10 million dollars and you buy bitcoin, then maybe in 2-3 years you will receive 200-300% profit, but maybe 400 or 500%. But if you have 10,000 dollars, then it is not profitable to invest in bitcoin. If you buy the right altcoin, then you can earn a lot more. I have Polkadot and Cosmos in my portfolio, Ethereum too, but I bought it cheaper. Ethereum is expensive right now.

I invited about 1200 people and even got bad reviews for spamming.

Did you really invited 1,200 user to this interview?
I don't want to sound picky, but I strongly doubt there are 1,200 interesting users on this forum.

IF you really want to stick to forum members  I would apply more strict rules.
OR
You could find interesting users outside of the forum, for sure there are plenty of them.

At first I invited famous participants, and then I used these statistics

I invited many other people from other projects, we discussed the list of questions, but I did not receive answers. This is a difficult job that requires a lot of time, and I like to study projects and invest more.

2316  Bitcoin / Press / [2023-02-22] Bitcoin Core Developer Marco Falke Steps Down From Maintainer Role on: February 23, 2023, 08:52:15 AM
https://markets.businessinsider.com/news/currencies/bitcoin-core-developer-marco-falke-steps-down-from-maintainer-role-1032117170
Bitcoin Core developer, Marco Falke – the platform’s most prolific contributor – will step down from his maintainer role this summer, he wrote in a tweet published Feb. 21.

Falke racked up more than 2,000 suggested software changes known as "commits" over his seven-year tenure as a Bitcoin Core contributor. For three of those seven years, Falke’s efforts were funded by crypto exchange Okcoin and Web3 investment firm Paradigm.

The storied developer reaffirmed his passion for Bitcoin and said he was “positive about the future,” but that his role was no longer a good fit.

“I am happy about my achievements,” Falke wrote. “And recognize that they would not have been possible without my sponsors.”

"The financial stability outlook remains challenging. Inflation persists above target in many
jurisdictions. Despite easing recently, global financial conditions are significantly tighter than a
year ago and may undergo further tightening in the months to come. Economic growth has
slowed markedly in recent months. Whilst expectations of a ‘soft landing’ for the global
economy have grown, the outlook remains clouded by uncertainty. Emerging market and
developing economies (EMDEs) have been largely resilient thus far, but this backdrop may
present challenges to them as we move forward."

2320  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: New world order or CBDC against cryptocurrencies on: February 23, 2023, 08:03:09 AM
Do you think this is a Nigerian problem or is it a global problem for all countries whose authorities want to make a digital financial collar for their citizens?
I have seen information that CBDC will be launched in many countries, but will it work? Citizens do not need it and I think smart people will not use it.
In Russia, CBDC will be launched in April 2023, but so far I have no information about how it will be used, but the bill speaks of complete total control over the financial expenses of citizens and their management.

I think this was a Nigerian problem, as far as I know, CBDC is new technology and this gonna be used in national scale meaning this will face a problem.

and yes the launch of CBDC will also have a negative side "The downside of a CBDC would include challenges in preserving the Federal Reserve’s dual goals of monetary policy and preserving price stability. In addition, widespread use of a CBDC would be another payment form for consumers to choose and merchants to monitor in addition to cash, credit/debit, and checks. Consumers may also balk at the thought of the government’s computers being able to monitor all of their transactions and know the amount of CBDC cash earned and spent." - https://blogs.perficient.com/2022/01/27/pros-and-cons-of-a-potential-u-s-central-bank-digital-currency-cbdc/#:~:text=The%20downside%20of%20a%20CBDC,credit%2Fdebit%2C%20and%20checks.

although according to https://www.atlanticcouncil.org/cbdctracker/ there is a couple of successful countries that launched cbdc
I agree that it is important for business to make a system of fast and independent transfers, but there are several points. For businesses, the transfer of payments in one area between different banks takes from several hours to days, and a similar transfer between different areas can take several days. Even a transfer between organizations in the same bank takes several hours. But for individuals, transferring money to any point in Russia between different payment systems occurs almost instantly thanks to the Fast Payment System. How do banks work in your country?
I don't need CBDC.
