So do you think it will be the same result with the Philippines vs Italy later? Italy is also the favorites in the match up
The first half shows that it is another lopsided game in favor of Italy. I do not see that the second half would be any different. Italy is just too strong for the Philippine Team as expected. I will still watch and support the Philippines though, to the bitter end. ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif)

OG showed fantastic gaming. They deserve to be the back-to-back champion of The International. OG showed us new ways to play DOTA.
I think fatigue also contributed to Liquids performance since they have to face LGD before they enter the grand finals but that is just the way it is. It is part of the game.

But the reality, bitcoin is not reaching that price and only moving in below than $12k.
He overestimated the value of bitcoin but the thing is, the price still moved up. He may be wrong with the final price but it did have a bullish trend until yesterday. It is typical of him to overestimate so I was actually expecting the price to be within this range.

Waiting for the mining process is always the absolute worst. Everytime I convince myself I've put the address in wrong and fucked myself... only to wait 30 minutes and find out its fine.
What do you guys do while you wait? Yoga? Help me.
Nothing. You will get used to the process. And there is almost nothing you can do if you entered the wrong address. So I always triple check addresses and amount before I commit a transaction. You should do that as well.

You should include some information about your website and the payment should be upfront since you are a newbie. Or do what above me said, hire a trusted escrow.

My take on this is it is still good to share strategies. As you said, strategies are not perfect and will not work 100%. That is why it should be shared. More gamblers using a strategy, the more chance it has to be improved. Whenever I came across some strategies, I use it and look for ways to make it better or at least make it fit with my style of gambling. It is not comparable to creating my own strategy thru my own experience but it is good experience gambling and tweaking strategies to fit my own.

--snip-- Should he go to D League for now to beat the hell out of those players there just for the remaining years of his career? I think he has a better chance and more money if he goes to China. Just follow the trend. If you can't get in on NBA, then try China and get some great pay. It is never over for him yet. There are instances that players are out of work for years and still make a come back. Just look at Gerald Green, he was out of work before Houston Rockets got him on the team.

I would prefer to keep my location private for my own security, but it is safe to say that I frequently work on contract for my work in several countries and I have arranged with a lot of food merchants to accept Bitcoin as a payment option as soon as I arrive in a new location. They tend to agree very quickly if you promise to spend "money" daily at their "shop" Some may think that merchants not accepting bitcoin is a hurdle in spending their coins. But you actually showed us that it can be done. Merchants can be persuaded to actually accept bitcoin. Kudos.

FIBA is approaching, well, I like USA but I think betting odds is not so attractive,
You will not find a good odd betting on them because they are heavy favorites. You will have better odds on teams on the opening rounds. I'm not following this much, I love to back my countries team but I know they don't have the size and the length to compete against the best teams in the world.
I also do not believe my country will be able to complete well but I think they can pass the first round. So I am looking forward to the betting odds on my countries matches in the first round and make some money there. Nothing feels better than supporting your country and winning some bets on the side.

If the company in question is doing more harm to the competition in the market than good, then I think the government can step in to break it down. Just like what happened to Microsoft. I also agree that Facebook has grown too much and if Libra pushed through, they will be uncontrollable.

Wish we could have some sort of automated "Price Dump Protection system" to stop whales from holding the rest of us to ransom. This is why I kind of like the idea of premine and setting aside some amount cryptocurrency for future development of a crypto project. Maybe about 20% (which hopefully grows to millions in the future) of the coin could be set aside for dump protection. Once a whale tries to crash the price, the system automatically buys up most of the whales coins and reduce the effect of the dump to the barest minimum. If some bullish whales later buy some million pf dollars worth of that coins, the automated system directly sell about 20% of its holding to the whales and this is repeated to keep the market healthy.
This sounds more like fiat to me than decentralized crypto. That is what governments are doing. If the value of fiat is going down, they take out their reserve gold and pump up their fiat. I do not think we want that in crypto. As much as I do not like whales dumping on us, I do not like a centralized body controlling the price as well.

The law will likely not work. Imagine if a government bans gold, how would that government know that people are holding gold in their homes? People don't normally obey laws that make no sense to them even in military government. They will be more careful when exchanging cryptocurrencies with fellow countrymen.
One of the best way to use cryptocurrencies in such environment would be to use them within general purpose applications that are hosted internationally... examples are using bitcoin/cryptocurrencies on apps like Telegram, whatapp, etc. If the crypto feature end up being disabled for Indians, they could use decentralized multiple purpose applications or VPN with temp phone numbers.
If you are careful enough, you will not be caught. You just have to hide it pretty well even to your neighbors and close friends and check your spending habits. Because if the government gets any tip from one of your neighbors or get a hint that you are spending more than you earn in fiat, that could warrant them to have you searched. Other than that, I agree that the law is very hard to implement.

"Nearly 2.7 trillion won ($2.3 billion) have been lost to crimes involving cryptocurrency in the last two years, according to South Korean government data."
where do you see the improvements being made against crypto criminal activity. this can really hurt the price for traders/investors if conditions don't improve.
That should not be surprising with the success achieved by crypto over the years. Am sorry the figures of crime rate might also increase if little alterations to the decentralisation of cryptocurrency is not made. Criminals are feeling to much sense of safety being here in cryptocurrency if that can be handled tactically without giving in into governmental demands There is nothing that you can change in crypto that will deter criminals from using it. It is money. As long as it can be spent, it will be used in criminal activities and a target by criminal entities. The only deterrent I can see is that these criminals be caught and punished heavily so that others will be afraid to do crimes .

This is interesting. I've always believed that computer based lottery could be cracked by someone with the required knowledge/skills. But it will be pretty hard to do this on physical lottery or dice. Computer based random variables are not that random
Nope, he did not cracked anything. He just calculated probability and waited for the right amount of pot to cover his expenses if he wins buying all the possible combinations. The only thing I admire on this guy is his tenacity to write down all the possible combinations and his convincing strategy to attract investors in his schemes.

Damn, what if Giannis able to succeed working on that decent shooting percentage? With that height, with that leap, with that strong body, with that long-span, with that athleticism - he is a hell a complete all-around player.
I would not expect too much though. Maybe he can raise his percentage for 10 to 15 percent, that's it. He is not a natural shooter so there are limitations to his improvement no matter how hard he trained. I am yet to see anyone in nba who is not a natural shooter who drastically improved his 3 points shooting.
