2321  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is bounty not an investment? on: June 03, 2018, 02:10:35 PM
I have seen a lot of threads here asking about whether people will invest in a coin or do bounty. Its high time we all understood that, investment is not only about money. To me, any effort put into something to make it a reality can be regarded as investment. People who buy coins invest with their monies whiles those who participate in bounties also invest with their time and energy. Money is a replaceable resource but time can never replaced. To me, bounty hunters are also investors. What do you think?
First of all, you don't need to invest or use money from your pocket to participate on bounties so obviously, it is not. Also, unlike on investment whereas you will just invest and hold, in bounties, you will promote a particular project thruough campaigns within the bounty such as signatures, social media and the likes. From that, investment and bounties are obviously two different things.
2322  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum will reach $ 15000 in this year. on: June 03, 2018, 01:34:09 PM
I think Ethereum will be worth $15000 or more in this year.
What you guys think ?
It would be a punch to the moon in my opinion. The market value at this moment is far from 15k usd. And it would be impossible for the market value of etherium to take a huge leap within a year. I am expecting that its market price will soon be more expensive but maybe, not that much. But for now, invest and hold in order to earn huge profit once the market value starts to increase.
2323  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What made you Invest into Crypto Currency on: June 03, 2018, 12:26:54 PM
I am a newbie in crypto market. I was listening to the news every day about Bitcoin and ETH, I heard about Bitcoin in late 2012 but did not paid a heed as a lot of people around the world did and are doing still.

In late Oct 2017 when BTC was on it way to making its ATH, curiosity brought me to this world of crypto and as noob I started reading more about Bitcoin, Altcoins, how does market works which are local exchanges etc. I did my 1st Investment into bitcoin of 100 USD to enter into my first ever ICO Electroneum thought it was a good project as a noob though a good marketing team but they are long way ahead to deliver real results, having said this it gave a good return almost 10x on investment and with that initial 100 USD my journey to crypto started and now I am HODLING a dozens of coins since then.

I had only added 150 USD since then to get into a couple of projects when I was running out of some small investments. So with overall 250 USD Investment, my current portfolio stands at a couple of thousand dollars and still a long way to go. Added coins like CPX, DBC, BLZ, elec, nexo, qlc, Seele etc to my portfolio with minimum investment in each ICO.

I have very conservative strategy with a long-term approach, as a newbie, I am still learning basics of this market, making small mistakes, understanding the ways and means to generate wealth, searching long-term projects which can be potential game changer or life-changing investment.

Would love to hear fellow crypto investor about there experience in crypto world and about the learning, strategies they used to generate good returns, how can one go about finding good opportunities to invest into without trading and having long-term approach in mind.

Looking forward to learn from you people Smiley
I agree with what is mentioned. But the bottomline why many people are being hooked into cryptocurrency investment is simply because of the higher and more active market value compared to stocks or other kinds of investment. It is due to the market volatility which gives profit to the investors especially whenever the market is in green marks. The continuous increase tempts the investors to be interested.
2324  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it normal to wait for 6 months for a bounty reward? on: June 02, 2018, 04:33:03 PM
Most of us join bounty campaigns because it is one of the means for us to get coins. I just want to verify how many of us have experienced waiting for a long period of time to get our coins. Don't get me wrong, i do trust the managers and what they say. And, most of them give valid  reasons why it'll take that long for them to distribute the rewards. In average, how long do you receive your coins after a bounty campaign?
usually, bounty rewards distiribution takes a couple of weeks after the end of the campaign. If it is on the roadmap of the project or if it is mentioned by the manager, participants can't do anything but to wait. As long as the manager is giving updates including the cause of the delay, I think there's really nothing to be worried of. Just be patient and trust how will they make actions with regards to the project itself.
2325  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to know if Bounty is scam? on: June 02, 2018, 03:55:41 PM
Unfortunately, it is impossible to predict that a bounty is scam  before joining or investing into it. There would be doubts but it would be clearly impossible to determine it in an instant. Usually, a bounty is becoming a scam after the campaign if it won't send or pay its participants. The best way to atleast lessen the risk is to check the background of the dev team to atleast have some basis on assumptions.
2326  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How stable is Bitcoin. on: May 23, 2018, 11:19:09 PM
Entering month of April, we are seeing the gradual increment on bitcoin's value. This leads to me this question, How stable is bitcoin? What are the factors indicating its constant movement aside from the fact that compared from the last years its value was unfathomable in a financial sense but sudden drops oppressing lots of investors. What sort of deem of hope to investors not to become disoriented and eventually selling there btc shares as its value decrease. What do you think guys?
The market value of bitcoin is again, falling. But that's a normal thing since Bitcoin is naturally volatile so sudden changes on its market price from time to time is always expected. Surely, investors are awared of that and they better should. Besides, dumps are just temporary so the loss of profit during the the dips is just partial. Once the market starts to grow once again, profit will then be earned so we better hold and avoid selling.
2327  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What coin do you HOLD in 2018? on: May 23, 2018, 11:06:06 PM
Hi,
I created this topic to probe: What coin do you HOLD in 2018?
HOLD from early 2018 to end of 2018.
I HOLD: BTG, ETH and BNB (Each coin about 3k USD), i hope it will be up to 9k each coin ^^
Still Bitcoin and etherium. Although the market value of these two are having difficulties at this moment, I still trust the capabilities of these cryptos. ETH and BTC have already proven their worth of being held for years since its market value grew continuously and away from its price 2years ago. So I think same thing would happen this year.
2328  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoins hit 30K before the end of this year? on: May 23, 2018, 10:58:00 PM
Will Bitcoins hit 30K before the end of this year?

Do you also have kind of assumption? I already have...
Still hard to tell seeing how the market value of Bitcoin is struggling at this moment. The market value of it is having a hardtime below 10k usd so it is hard to tell whether it will be atleast able to reach 20k this year or even higher. So for now continue holding and investing in order to earn huge profit when that time come.
2329  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptos mining vs. bounty campaigns on: May 23, 2018, 10:48:49 PM
Is crypto mining more profitable than getting tokens from bounty campaigns?

It is surely more profitable but also, more complicated. In order to earn huge profit from mining, one should have a good mining farm which includes high end computer and things as such. While on thebother hand, joining bounty campaigns is free but the risk is that dome campaignd sre failing or not psying. So both have downsides and goodsides. It will just depend on one's preference.
2330  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do thousands of investors hold bitcoin on troubled days? on: May 23, 2018, 10:38:41 PM
They are surely awared of the natural market volatility of not only bitcoin but most of the cryptos. The possible reaason is for them to avoid completely losing their profit and to eventually, earn profit from investing during the dumps since the price of the cryptos including Bitcoin is low and when the market value starts to rise, profit will surely earned.
2331  Economy / Economics / Re: Why I am quitting ICO's on: May 23, 2018, 10:18:43 PM
Whether you quit it or not, that'd be your decision but to clear some things out, investing to ICOs is like gambling because there's no assurance of earning profit no matter how good a platform is (of the ICO project). The reason behind this is the market volatility. So it goes as some will be profitable and some are not. But overall, ICOs are really profitable.
2332  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum, Ripple or Litecoin? on: May 22, 2018, 11:54:36 PM
What is the best choice regarding investing in these coins? Lately I have sold my Ethereum and now I am waiting for the right moment to buy them again, but shall I also buy Ripple and Litecoin?
I'll give my hundred percent vote for etherium because among the altcoins, it is the most popular despite of the fact that there are many altcoins which are having a larger market value. Popularity is next to demand and demand is what makes a crypto, strong. This is already proven by etherium in the previous years. The increase is way fast and huge within just a short period of time.
2333  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How foolish are people who invest in Bitcoin? on: May 15, 2018, 11:37:53 PM
Foolish? I think they are smart enough to be awared that the chance of earning huge profit is high due to the continuous increase on the market value of it. Despite of the risk due to the market volatility, choosing to invest in Bitcoin is a great idea given that market dumps are just temporary and recovery is always expected to happen.
2334  Economy / Economics / Re: Investing in Bitcoin? Advantages and Disadvantages on: May 15, 2018, 11:12:14 PM
The advantage is the chance of earning huge profit from investing into it. While on the other hand, the risk is due to the market volatility which also gives the tendency of losing profit. But if an investor is patient there's nothing to be worried about because market dumps are just temporary and recovery always take place after a couple of weeks or month.
2335  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: FAKE ICOs Bounties. What to do? on: May 15, 2018, 10:56:10 PM
I am a newbie just trying to grow on this platform. Within a week of participating in altcoin bounties, 2 bounties I participated in have been reported as Scammers. I get a lot of reads on my articles and Social media pages. I cannot keep encouraging people to invest in these altcoins if they would eventually get scammed. How can new bounty hunters like myself differentiate between a genuine bounty and scammers bounty?
Checking the background of the team and the project itself would be a guide in order to quite avoid such uncertainty. Whether a. campaign is a scam or not, it can't be already determined at the beginning of the campaign but  if the team's background information is already weird, think twice. You may also consider the reputation of the bounty manager because if they are experienced, they has a high chance of avoiding scam campaigns.
2336  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH or LTC long term? on: May 15, 2018, 04:10:55 PM
For long term investment or holding, i'd choose therium over LTC because it have already proven its rate of increase on its market value on the past two years which surely give profit to those who invested before. And given that the market value is continuously growing even at this moment, etherium still is way better than LTC.
2337  Economy / Economics / Re: Invest in BTC vs Invest in Real Estate? on: May 15, 2018, 03:44:33 PM
Bitcoin chart is going up and down some times I am thinking maybe I should invest part of my BTC (at least the part of the profit  I’ve made on crypto) into something real?!
Let’s say I can buy share of real estate company and get the part of profit (50-100% per Year).

Should I
Spend all my BTC on that shares?
                Spend small (profit) part?
Or just do nothing and wait?

Huh?!

I’ll do appreciate for answers with any suggestions and recommendations!

I'd choose investing to bitcoin over stocks or real estate investments for the fact that the rate of increase is higher in cryptos which would give profit to its investors. The amount of increase that it earned from the past two years simply proves how good Bitcoin is as an investment. But still, it depends on one's preference.
2338  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty campaign - waste of time or great passive income? on: May 15, 2018, 02:57:43 PM
Crypto world is in crysis now and it's not only due to red market but also because of tons of scam ICOs. And that pisses a lot of bounty hunters off cause scam ICOs produce useless unworthy tokens! People waste sometimes several months to participatein bounty and either get no tokens or get shitcoins.

It's so hard now to find a good bounty. eCoinomic.net platform is running one now and it looks pretty solid and trustworthy, they also predict a balanced growth for CNC token https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2897866.msg29799978#msg29799978

But how do you guys know if your bounty is trustable? Why do you personally trust bounty you're participating in right now?
Actually it is not a waste of time and also, it won,t produce passive income. Bounties are really profitable given the fact that participating is free. But it requires hardwork in order for bounty hunters to earn profit from bounties because it is more likely in stake basis. also, patience is needed because payouts are given at the end of the campaign.
2339  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: HODLing will get you nowhere on: May 14, 2018, 11:54:51 PM
FALSE. Maybe you have just said this because of your past experiences. Holding especially a good crypto would give you huge profit. Good examples are etherium and Bitcoin which had a huge price increase within two years. When it comes on ICO or bounty tokens, we have to face the fact that only some are profitable of holding.
2340  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can market go down now? on: May 14, 2018, 11:46:10 PM
Hey what do you think, can scenario of January repeat? I mean can everything suddenly fall again?
Dumps in the market should always be expected because the market is nsturally volatile and so that awareness would result into not selling due to panic. Investors should look at it as an opportunity to earn profit by buying during the dips and holding until the market recover. Patience and persistence is needed at times like that.
