2341  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I have 1000 usd , where to invest , on: February 04, 2021, 05:06:22 PM
It is up to you where you want to invest. If you are thinking about investing for long term, then maybe split your investment into different coins? If I were you, I would invest most of the coins in BTC, and rest in different well known altcoins.
If you are looking for investing in one single coin, try either BTC or ETH. I have been hearing ETH is going to see a bull run anytime soon. Predictions based on charts has been made where the price seems to reach around 4,000 USD during March. But remember, these are just predictions and you should do your OWN research!
2342  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How I earn 6000 $ IN 3 HOURS | Elon Musk THANKS YOU !!! DOGE on: February 04, 2021, 03:55:54 PM
I am confused why the price of DOGE can immediately increase very high when Elon Musk makes a tweet about DOGE, so it wowed me with Elon Musk, because just by making a tweet about DOGE, then the price of DOGE immediately increases very high (like a miracle), but I also want to say thanks to Elon Musk for the tweet he made, so that I can get profit from investing in DOGE too.
What is there to be confused lol. A very high profile person is tweeting about doge coins and people ARE going to follow "trends" set by such  high profile people. It is more like this "herd mentality". No one knows why they are investing in doge coin, but they are still doing it because they believe that they will make profit, after all Elon tweeted about it. Now there are some people who invests in order to make profit from those stuck within "heard mentality". They know more people are going to follow others blindly and hence the price will get pumped. Those who are aware of this are the ones who cash out their profit as soon as possible, while the rest suffers, learns a lesson and next time is more aware of the situation, thus learning how to take advantage of events like this. This keeps on going on.
2343  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin to trigger central bank collapse on: February 04, 2021, 09:02:18 AM
I doubt bitcoin will ever be able to "collapse" the central banks. This is something that will have a huge (negative) impact on the country. And no government in the world will allow their central banks to collapse. If needed all government of the world with either unite to ban the usage of crypto currencies saying its a danger to the economy of the country or they will find a way to integrate the who bitcoin system with the central bank and take good control of it.
Either way, the central bank isn't going to collapse.
2344  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is an investment on: February 04, 2021, 08:53:42 AM
Glad that you are making profit. So you want to know if you should sell now or not, right? This is a question that only you can answer. Do you need the money badly? If no, then why even bother selling. What if the price drops, will you be able to take the loss? If no, then sell. You have already made enough profit. But remember even when the price drops, as long as you haven't sold anything you didn't make any "loss". You still have the same amount of coins. If you are planning for holding long term, then don't sell even when you see the price is dropping. Remember, in the long run, the price is bound to increase. So ask yourself some simple question and see if you should sell or not.
2345  Economy / Economics / Re: Russian currency big problems on: February 04, 2021, 08:42:43 AM
It is been like this for 6 to 7 years. All started back in 2015 I guess (I remember making an economic report on this back then) when investors started to lose confidence in the market, had all their assets sold off and fears being spread about the economy causing the price of Ruble to sharply lose its value. And this has even since continued with no sign of recovery. It was last year where they have seen a huge drop against EUR and USD. If this keeps on continuing, they will have no other choice but to abandon their current currency and move into a more reliable system like crypto currencies.
2346  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Doge Coins? on: February 03, 2021, 08:40:55 PM
Rumors that Dogecoin is like bitcoin yet i dont see many websites using it.
Because dogecoin is nothing like bitcoin. I doubt any website would directly accept dogecoin unless they are using some sort of thirdparty payment gateway (like coingate). One of the reason is that the price is quite unstable.
is it a joke or what?
It was initially made as a "joke"/"meme" coin, but it became quite popular with an active community. People then started using it as a coin to "tip" people on different forums and places.
i personally dont think that its a real deal to go up with.
It gets pumped and dumped a lot. So if you are willing to take the risk and you manage to join at the right moment, you will make some quick profit.
Is there any earn-money site paying in dogecoins?
You mean like faucet? Not sure, but it's not worth joining. You will collect dusts only and waste your time. You would be able to utilize you time and earn better doing something more efficient like selling your skills.
2347  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin vs eth on: February 03, 2021, 04:46:11 PM
If you think Eth price is undervalued, then go ahead, invest in ETH. There are lot of people who think ETH price isn't reflecting its actual value and believes that it will skyrocket in the future. So, if you have the same feeling too, who is stopping you?
Though I wouldn't suggest you to convert your BTC investment to ETH. Keep holding your Bitcoin investment. Splitting between different coins will reduce your risks. Invest further in ETH only if you can afford to invest. If not, then just hold whatever you have for now.
2348  Economy / Gambling / Re: How to deposit to Betfair in banned countries 2021 on: February 03, 2021, 08:59:19 AM
You can use VPN, but make sure you read their terms of service. Since they updated it, and restricted users from your country, it would be a bad idea to play over there. With VPN, you maybe able to make deposits and withdraw, but once you trigger any security flag and they asks for documents, they will have no other option other than blocking you. They can confiscate your funds if they want. If they feel generous, they might return your initial deposit, but they will never return your profit. Make sure you know what you are about to do.
2349  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I always return to Bitcoin on: February 03, 2021, 07:43:53 AM
This is how it works haha. You will always be back, no matter how many times to "leave". There is nothing to regret on how you spent your coins back then. Faucets were paying good amount of coins during those times because the price of bitcoin was very low. At least you spent all those coins you earned on something you actually wanted.
Got back a little before the 2017 price pump, started posting here and being active, learned about Altcoin mining, it was popular back then, set up my computer and even bought a second GPU. Was making daily profit, in Bitcoin and was delighted, within a couple of days, I had a full return on the GPU, and managed to acquire a decent amount of BTC. However, I sold some of it later, some before and some when the price skyrocketed, and deposited some to Bitstamp for trading. That's what I deem as my third mistake, should have kept them intact..
How is this a mistake? You already made your profit. You can't keep on holding forever. You will have to convert it to fiat eventually once your profit goal has been reached.
2350  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If you buy 1 bitcoin and hold for years in your own offline wallet, taxes? on: February 03, 2021, 07:37:23 AM
No, they won't know. But in the future, it's going to be really hard for you to convert it to fiat (if you do it all at once). You might be asked questions and source of funds. And if they decide to investigate, chances are you might get caught since you are using Coinbase. You already did your KYC and bank transfer which created paper trails. And don't forget Coinbase is very compliant to the law enforcement department.
Know your laws before you do anything.
2351  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good news for XRP on: February 02, 2021, 09:29:41 PM
So what's the good news over here? All I can see in that post is that they are providing their side of the story and trying to prove them innocent (using their words). This is going to last for months, I am pretty much sure. They are doing whatever they can to keep the prices up (so investors don't lose confidence. They are going to be fucked when all investor dumps their tokens). I bet next time the price falls, they are going to release another letter showing their "strategy" causing the price to pump again. And I guess this will keep on going.
If this is the reason why XRP is pumping then this is not going to end well for the price
Yup. FOMO. People are thinking Ripple will win the lawsuit causing the price to skyrocket.
2352  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trading Or Invest ? on: February 02, 2021, 05:59:11 PM
By investing, you mean holding, right? Don't want to actively participate in the market? Then invest for long term and forget about it until you start hearing about the next bull run. What to engage yourself in the market and make small profits, then start trading.
Trading requires more skill, knowledge and luck. You make profit quicker, but the risk involved is also higher. On other hand, investing just requires patience, profits are slow, but in the long run, high chance you will make some good profit.
2353  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Does Binance trip about using a VPN? on: February 02, 2021, 05:53:40 PM
Like some other platforms do. Is it against thier terms and conditions? Could it cause account termination?
I don't think using VPN is against their terms (you should check though) and highly unlikely your account might get terminated (if that would happen, we would see tons of people complaining). Would could happen is that you might trigger a security flag and they will ask you to proof ownership of the account. I have recently read some reddit topic where others faced the similar problem. So don't use VPN. Use your own connection. This might even help you in the future when your account needs verification or is in some sort of investigation.
2354  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Trading bitcoin on: February 02, 2021, 04:54:05 PM
Cryptocurrencies are supposed to be currencies for daily use.
True, some currencies can be used as a "regular" currency, but what about the other top well known currencies? They have some flaws and drawbacks that is stopping it from being used as a "daily currency". Have a look at the transaction network when bitcoin starts to trend. Bitcoin network goes overloaded and it takes a lot of time to get a single confirmation unless you are willing to pay premium fee for network confirmation.
Its use for investment should be in a narrow range, and it is the money that you are not afraid of losing, and it is not a fund in which you can enter a few currencies and inflate those currencies to infinity.
People seem to find crypto currencies a better alternative than traditionally available assets. They are seeing that it has better return and can easily be exchanged. Thus they prefer using it as a investment. And sorry, everyone is afraid of losing anything valuable. Would be stupid to say one "should not be afraid of losing".
2355  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you been to a place where people gamble on Car Race on: January 30, 2021, 04:06:14 PM
That is not something new. Motorsport betting exists for decades. I have seen people betting on NASCAR cup series and Formula 1 races. You can start betting both on land based sportsbook or online sportsbook. Bets can be placed based on scores, match up, wins, groupings, futures and so on.
I am sure online sportsbooks that accept cryptocurrencies exists. Maybe check sportsbet.io? I have heard they cover almost all major sports in their website.
2356  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Why shouldn't you deposit fiat into binance to buy crypto? on: January 30, 2021, 03:37:21 PM
People are recommending to buy cryptos on coinbase and then transfer it to binance to trade there. Why?
Not sure why someone would recommend something "redundant" like this. You have to go through KYC if you deposit fiat in Binance or Coinbase. Yes, you can buy from coinbase by doing KYC and then send it to binance to withdraw, but I am assuming you are doing this because binance claim that you don't need to do any KYC as long as you withdraw less than 2 BTC daily. But, I have read different posts in reddit where people were forced to do KYC when trying to withdraw something very lower than the said limit (coins worth less than $1,000 USD. "Risk control" was their excuse).
Either way, you will eventually be hit by KYC. So just deposit on exchange that you trust and use it to withdraw. No need to use two different exchanges. Though make sure your bank is crypto friendly.
2357  Economy / Economics / Re: Rich have too much on: January 30, 2021, 07:41:26 AM
Rich have too much !!'
Well, they worked for it and managed to get it. How about you stop thinking about them and start focusing on yourself.
Need laws the money u dont use long time will be taken and given to poor
Lol, that would be the stupidest law that will ever exist. This will just encourage the poor not to work. Would you want the same if you were rich?
Lets take and share to poor more taxes and taxes % to me im poor
Time for revolution !!!
So you want government to tax the rich more and give it to the poor? How is that going to create a balance? It would just create a hate between the rich and the poor. The poor will start depending more on the rich (which in a way is always bad).
You are thinking about yourself only. Not the others.
2358  Economy / Economics / Re: Fiat and cryptocurrency on: January 30, 2021, 07:30:18 AM
Fiat and cryptocurrency are the same but people in society differentiate them and value fiat because its adopted by the government far back, and since the existence of the world and also a specific country, so from my research I find out that government just disliked cryptocurrency for nothing.
Fiat and crypto currencies are the same? No they are not. Not sure how you even came to this conclusion. The fiat system has so many issues that some of the cryptocurrencies can solve. And there are reasons why the government don't like "decentralized" crypto currencies. First of all, they will have no power over it. Secondly, they are concerned that usage of crypto currencies might lead to more easy illegal activities.
So differentiating fiat from bitcoin is valueless because irrespective the importance and massive adoption of fiat currency from  its existence before cryptocurrency, it's obvious that fiat is money and bitcoin is money, their functions and contribution in society never depart from each other, so bitcoin now is the shortest way of transactions across the world without much process or procedures, using bitcoin everything buyable is easier to purchase without stress, so from my perspective I prefer bitcoin than fiat currency due to fast transactions process across another country, and nothing fiat can purchase bitcoin can't purchase, so no difference between both because all are currency.
Maybe differentiating might be better? People will know the advantage of it over crypto currencies.
2359  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best Altcoins for Investment on: January 30, 2021, 07:17:38 AM
So what makes you think that these are the altcoins that everyone should be investing in? Is it because you believe that the price is going to be pumped? Or did you do enough research that you see these coins have future potential? I doubt any of those coins have any better use case and is just here to be pumped and dumped.
Those coins are too risky for long term investment. You never know when those coins are going to die. Why not just invest in regular well known altcoins like Ethereum and maybe litecoin?
2360  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk adds #Bitcoin to his Twitter bio on: January 29, 2021, 10:03:35 PM
Well that's also funny if it was actually coinmarketcap just having fun with this stuff haha
Pretty much sure its coinmarketcap just trolling the situation. First glance, I thought this was something real and then realized it's ranked "0". And then further investigation showed that they are doing it just for the "memes".
Click the coin and you will see a friendly warning that says that this is just a joke, that coin doesn't even exists and if you ever come across a coin like this, use your own "brains".
