2341  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which Meme Coin Will Survive Long on: July 23, 2021, 10:39:52 PM
I will vote for doge here. This has been here longer than SHIB. So if in case the meme hype is over, I guess, doge will still remain. It can always go back to where it was. I used to  transact with doge before when the tx fee was still cheap, when you want to transfer from one exchange to another. But currently, the fees are quite expensive when you compare it to XRP or TRX. So right now, I don't know what purpose has doge have other than being a speculative coin and waiting for Elon to tweet about it.
^ The same as here, I would choose Dogecoin that will probably exist in a long period of time than others, I did not even invest those meme tokens that recently raises. This pioneer meme coin has potential and many gambler platforms using this as a currency because of the low fees. There are too many options now and I think people or investors do not pay attention to the other meme coin. Nevertheless, you can ride the pump and dump that usually people do if the is a coin that has low cap volume.
2342  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why some are still loosing money in crypto on: July 23, 2021, 10:32:56 PM
Maybe its because some are still in the stage being new in engaging the world of crypto and didn't understand yet process on how to get into it and what should be done in the crypto market and to community.
What must be done at the initial stage is to learn in order to understand everything, because without learning, whoever he or she will never know how the conditions are in it and will also never be able to adapt himself to everything in crypto.
^ The problem is that people are easily jumping in cryptocurrency investment thinking that it is very easy to make money on it, most of them did not even know or lack knowledge on it. They are just jumping because someone told them it is profitable and when they saw the price goes down they begin to panic and start selling to cut their losses. That is the problem of most newcomers now, they just lose their money and start giving negative feedback to cryptocurrencies. Nevertheless, we can not blame them.
2343  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Nigerian government changing the state of lotteries on: July 23, 2021, 10:02:34 PM
^

The government just wants to take a tidbit of this market under its patronage. I don't think this will really change the situation in Nigeria because most likely due to the high level of corruption, taxpayers' money will just end up in the pockets of the officials.

They just use it as an alibi to take advantage of whatever result of it might come in the future. I don't mean to hurt Nigerians with my words but in reality, corruption is at another level there. where politics are used to manipulate people's trust and things like this are no safe especially when money is on the line.
^ That is probably the reason they banned untaxable currency there and that is a cryptocurrency just because they can't able to implement the tax.
Every country needs revenue just to fund all kinds of infrastructure that needs to improve such as buildings and roads which is very basic and also health financial assistance. We can not blame them and probably they saw that there is huge money by collecting tax in all their people. The problem is those who hold the fund, it could be not an exact amount and might abuse by them.
2344  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should online gambling companies be responsible for harm related activities? on: July 23, 2021, 09:29:03 PM
~snip~
My question is, should online gambling companies be responsible for the harm related to their activities because of their current failures in the implementation and control of CSR policies?
^ Reading the TOS is considering that you are following correctly in the implementation of CSR policies because most of the gambling platforms they required to have that CSR policy to ensure their users are safe from any possible negative outcome. There are too many factors of components the CSR has and I think I will summarize some because it is too many to mention. Protection of vulnerable and underage gamblers is the main focus of CSR implementation and is followed by criminals and fraud activities.
2345  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The houses always win, are you the house or the gambler? on: July 23, 2021, 08:35:24 PM
The houses always win, are you the house or the gambler?
~snip~
Do houses always win? No! Homes almost never lose.
We've had countless cases of lucky players who have won big prizes and them withdraw money from the house to their wallet (if not a scam).
^ Definitely right, houses will not always win. How about those lottery jackpot winners that occasionally reported that they hit the mega jackpot and owned million or billion of dollars for the mega jackpot. They are also betting against the house and I think, when you say the house will always win, that is inappropriate. You can sometimes beat the house unexpectedly but the correct one is the more you playing under the house the more chances that you will lose. Nevertheless, if you can afford to fund the house and be a bunker, it is possible to be a house but if not, you can be a gambler too and spend only the amount that you can afford.
2346  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling attracted to emotion or luck on: July 23, 2021, 08:22:17 PM
I have noticed that sometimes when I gamble, I used to win unexpectedly even when I never intended to bet. The most shocking thing is that I usually win when my mind is not that prepared to gamble probably jokingly. Anything I'm focused and well prepared I usually lose. I don't know if this is affiliated to luck or just emotions. Does this happens to others?
^ This is very common and even me, I also encountered this scenario not twice but how many times but I considered those are only coincidences because it won't happen again even if I told myself just to win, "okay I am not prepared so let me win". It was a kind of luck with a combination of coincident. I don't think gambling is attracting emotion, you can gamble anytime you want as long as you have money to start with. Nevertheless, it will depend on which game you have prefer because there is a game that did not base on luck, sometimes skills will be applied.
2347  Economy / Gambling / Re: BetJA.com | The highest Payout + Free BTC + Multi-Bet Insurance on: July 23, 2021, 09:50:22 AM
I believe if the site owners/developers are experienced enough, they can quickly identify whether a player is creating multi accounts or the referrals are real. There are several ways using which a casino can detect multi accounts.

1- IP addresses
2- Similarity in passwords
3- Deposit/withdrawal addresses might match
4- Betting patterns

There must be more ways for the casino to catch a player creating multi accounts.
And I also believed that the casino did not reveal and expose how they will detect that such user creating multi accounts. Multi accounting is very common and it always has fraud due to the financial incentive available to players if they can cheat the system. The number 1 will not that have an effect probably because anytime we can change our IP address when every time we shut down our wifi router and the rest sounds too far to detect because it is easy to make different wallet addresses. It could be developers in gambling has a tool to identify cheaters, it could be a combination of IP address and by using cookies or fingerprinting to create an identifier that can detect the login and also account creation attempts together across sessions with the same device.
2348  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: July 23, 2021, 09:20:12 AM
The Only strategy we can use Playing Slot machines? is to have being responsible gamblers and have self control and also Knows when to quit.
The exit strategy is different and you only need to set your fixed limits which you can't exceed while gambling but if you talk about slot games then most probably you don't apply ample of strategies there and just wish you win on that bet.But for sure every gambler must have self control because it could be too risky if you have gone beyond your loss suffering limits so must take care of that thing.
^ There is nothing strategy in all based on luck games such as playing slot games and others like dice and etc. In the first place, gamblers should know this from the start to have self-control at all times. These kinds of games are not mean of chasing money, it is pure entertainment while hoping that you will hit the jackpot. That is an advantage when you are beating the house edge, there could be a chance that you hit the higher multiplier even in just a minute. Nevertheless, Rollbit has trading that you will surely enjoy that is not based on luck game, it needs pure skills here, if you will be bored in slot games, you can divert into trading and have a chance to win higher leverage.
2349  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Lost 17500$ during recent downswing, Now completely broke. on: July 22, 2021, 10:04:29 PM
Though I lost so many times earlier but this one is bit tough. I was bearish on bitcoin when it was around 30000$ but it went up and up and touches 40000$. I lost around 1000$ and I was ok but I do not know what happens to me suddenly in the heat of the moment I decided to go all in with 100x leverage, with no technical analysis nothing, as I was sure about bitcoin reaching 50000$.
And that is it all my bankroll which I build from 350$ vanished my hard work of 6 month gone.
Now I am broke. But I know I will build my bank roll again over the course of few months but oh man this is tough.
I hate this feeling. Guys no matter what don't be impulsive in trading.
This is why I say that trading isn't for everyone. It requires skills as much as it requires patience. You never go on leverage when you're not sure of the market, and never do it with 100x.

The reality is that people will nonetheless try it because they want that quick money but it is stories like this that puts the risks in perspective. It is tough to lose it all but you've got a valuable lesson out of it, and don't forget you made the money once you can do it again!
^ Definitely right and I must agree with your point of view. Trading is required skills and knowledge and this is not an easy way of getting profit. When you see that the market suffers losses because it is in a bearish situation. You can take a break in trading or just do a little scalping while waiting the price will surge back. If you don't have enough skills on this, I suggest you pay attention to the investment process which is a very simple way of making a profit once you have patience holding on to it.
2350  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do many people call Bitcoin "digital gold"? on: July 22, 2021, 09:41:58 PM
Bitcoin to me is more valuable than gold, the position of Bitcoin is higher than gold.
What position? Make it clear, mate.
Which one is more valuable should depend on a personal viewpoint. Valuable doesn't always refer to the price. If we consider its use for various purposes, gold seems easier to use as it is legal in all countries around the world. While Bitcoin still has many limitations for its use, especially for a payment tool. But if we consider the possible profits to hold BTC or Gold, BTC is better. BTC price can increase significantly, much higher than the gold price.
^ This does not make any sense to me while I always heard comparing these two valuable assets the gold and the BTC. They had different characteristics, the pros and cons on each other, they had different usage so we can't compare the physical one into a digital valuable currency. It is very simple and we don't this thing becomes complicated, BTC is profitable in saving value and does not spend but it has a high risk. It is digital gold because its value has like gold.
2351  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Taxes on gambling send the right message? on: July 22, 2021, 09:30:12 PM
However, other countries simply set high taxes to these activities, which I think is a false morality, as if by paying these activities can be less questionable. (Note: I personally do not question regulated gambling).

The "sin tax" is a pretty common way to profit from behavior you would like to curb as a government.  I actually think it's a good way to handle the situation.  Rather than force your citizens to do thinks "underground" and risk their safety engaging in business with possibly unscrupulous characters, they just have to pay insane taxes.  This also probably helps the losers a bit, as they can at least get a decent tax break for a run of bad luck.  In the US, some states have some pretty crazy sin taxes on alcohol and tobacco that make it difficult for some people to engage in those activities.
^ I start thinking now that this kind of business is for those people who can really afford to engage this activity and most of them are rich people and probably a high profile owner that has the capital to fight even how huge the sin tax it is as long as it can make a profit. This another proves that these kinds of businesses are for those rich people who can afford even how much the fees it is, it is not difficult for them. Probably gambling operators will still get profit because as we can see, we have still seen someone who has the same business.
2352  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: July 22, 2021, 09:10:07 PM

^ Good to know, they are very generous to their users and there are always promotions and giveaways that will be given. This will surely a player will stay on this site because of these promotions and giveaways. However, I am a little curious about the streamer that you have said, probably it is good if you can drop here the link. Nevertheless, a gambling site that has always been like this will surely long last and gamblers will never get tired of playing because when their wallet is empty there are so many chances that they could get free BTC through participating promotions.

Here is the link to the youtube channel of Xposed: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC0U5sBczEr2ASp4T6hSLvag

He is sponsered by Roobet and gets a free refill of his balance every day. He can keep 25% of his winnings and 5% is distributed to his viewers.
I also like the many promotions that Roobet is doing, but it would be nice if they could offer like a deposit bonus also.
^ That is quite interesting promotion and I think the streamer here is in a win-win situation as always. The allocation of streamer's distribution is quite low, 5 percent is just nothing but at least there is and can keep 25% and the rest it will be returning to the Roobet team. However, streamers can also abuse this, he can tell this to his friend and relatives and then can able to make a profit daily for an easy way. Nevertheless, that their problem the most important thing is that they keep looking forward to their promotion.
2353  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs Donaire II discussion on: July 21, 2021, 10:25:06 PM
Since Donaire vs Casimero fight is already off, and we heard a lot of rumors that Donaire will be fighting Inou.
Donaire and inoue are both the greatest bettors right now in the boxing ring, i often see the way they bet, to be honest i myself often say for them donaire the legend and inoue the monster.
Do you mean boxers? because I have not heard that they are betting on their games and I think it's inappropriate too.
Well, Donaire is a legend, but not a legendary status with Manny Pacquiao, he had some big fights, win a championship but he ranks just at the level or ordinary champion, nothing so special with him, but I believe Inoue is something special.
^ It is possible and we don't know since they have many people, if you are confident enough to yourself that you will win on that match, it is good sometimes if you will bet your own fight for the multiple winning, sounds greedy but who knows there are players thinking the same of what I have mentioned. Regarding Inoue, there will be a chance that he could knock down Manny Pacquiao, all of these are unpredictable fights and we don't know who will be win this fight or it is time for Manny to resign and give up his boxing career and proceed to a political career which is next year he will run for the presidential candidate.
2354  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Biggest winning so far on: July 21, 2021, 09:58:36 PM
That's interesting! You know for sure, I never knew of a pool system to exist in gambling. Thought it was all mining and thats all. Anyway, you did good to have partaken and you've wok a handsome worth as well from such a small contribution @OP. On my part, I haven't made much of a win from gambling this year, in fact, I haven't won at all. My betting style at the moment kind of keeps me far off from betting platforms both online and offline. The few times I bet is often becuase, I just couldn't avoid but then, I still haven't made any win. Tired of sinking money in the same sink hole over time, a step back is what I'm doing.
^ That is a part of gambling and the fact that there is no continuous winning result when you gamble. But I think betting is not just hard to win, not like a game that you are fighting against the house edge. Betting in online betting from the sports you know will give a better result of predicting who will be the winner. Probably because you are lack research and don't know who is your team because it is impossible to hear that you have not won so far but you are often a bettor. Just keep trying and do a small research and I think sooner or later you will experience and big winning result because I believed that the more you bet the more chances of winning.
2355  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling on friendly matches on: July 21, 2021, 09:42:06 PM
Depends on the friendly team in the match, if the mediocre team plays better I don't bet and if the favorite team plays I will bet what else the two big teams play it will be more interesting.
even though it's a friendly match if the big teams play they will still play seriously because it will protect the team's good name, and friendly matches are broadcast because to entertain us for another reason because all the matches are over.
^ Probably it is pure entertainment if you will stake on the on friendly matches because that is not a competition that is an exhibition game that supposedly a friendly fight between the team or the players who played this. Most likely this kind of game does not have a prize to compete, sometimes it is just a donation to any organization that needs help not just by the players. Either it will win or lose does not matter, as long as it will give entertainment to those who have watched.
2356  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your betting budget on: July 20, 2021, 10:08:16 PM
~snip~
I agree with you. Losing in gambling gives stress, because when you place your bets, your expectation is to win and have more money. And when it happens the other way round, it results to stress and depression. I think the best way to avoid spending too much on gambling is to set your limit.
If you feel that way, then you are not gambling responsibly, winning is good but we always have to remember that winning and losing are both possible in gambling, we cannot be a winner all the time, in fact, we might lose most of the time so we should be aware of that probability and always accept the losing result and we should not be stress with it.
^ This is exactly the right answer, be a responsible gambler at all times and accept those possible outcomes, and it's either a good or bad result.
Sometimes we should think that gambling is not a purpose of chasing money, it is sometimes we are talking of entertainment that could relieve your stress or while having a break for a while. Budget is the perfect practice at all times, allocate always a big percent for those daily neccisities and probably 5-10 percent of it is a good choice if you gamble. That is how you will manage yourself to avoid also being addicted.
2357  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Economic Costs of Gambling on: July 20, 2021, 09:57:41 PM
~snip~

But when you go to a restaurant and drink $ 100 wine (which costs $ 20 in a regular store), you also have no chance of getting a refund or even saving your money  Wink But a lot of people behave like this and it suits them, they consider such spending to be acceptable. I think the majority of casino visitors think the same - it's simple spending on entertainment, not dumb money.
I agree with that, most casino goers are just having fun, they can even spend money on drinks that are expensive just to enjoy their time in a casino, so there's nothing to complain about, we just need to change our mindset and consider gambling as entertainment so it will not hunt us and we are safe from getting addicted.
^ That is why we gamble on what we can afford because it is purely entertainment not your source of income. You guys, the example above was right, just like watching a movie in a theater, you will not entertain very well if you won't buy popcorn and of course, drinks which additional cost. Those people who are in addicted to gambling are just they are greedy because they gamble just to aim for money, and even though they can't afford it they will always looking ways just to continue their habit.
2358  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: July 20, 2021, 09:22:25 PM

Probably they have sopnsored streamers on Twitch, but I doubt they will tap and hire a lot of streamers to highlight their site. What I'm trying to say is that, it is more likely that  there are less paid streamers to promote the site than those who are just really streaming their gambling experience regardless of what casino they're playing.

They have a partnership with Xposed, who is very popular on Twitch and Youtube. Most of his videos have more 100k viewers. Regulary they also do a lot of giveaways when he is streaming. I also like the watch his videos as it just entertaining to watch; he is a funny guy and his emotions sometimes go over the top (anger/joy) which makes it fun  Grin.
^ Good to know, they are very generous to their users and there are always promotions and giveaways that will be given. This will surely a player will stay on this site because of these promotions and giveaways. However, I am a little curious about the streamer that you have said, probably it is good if you can drop here the link. How did you first hear about Bitcoin?
^ One of my close friends abroad told me about BTC way back in 2015 but I ignored him for almost a year until such day he told me again that he gained profit and that time I never doubted I purchased my first BTC in LocalBitcoin and in Kraken. In the following months, I found this forum and that was 2016 which is what I thought before the only benefit is to learn blockchain technology but now not only by that. Just sharing this, before faucets and bounty hunters are very profitable not like these days.
2360  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Give reasons why ETH is better than BSC on: July 17, 2021, 09:59:23 PM
I think ETH is an altcoin that has been in crypto for a long time and is very decentralized so its growth is increasing from time to time, besides the Ethereum community is very broad and strong, although eth's transaction fees are quite high but it doesn make users leave Ethereum, and I think that  very reasonable because of the influence of the high price of ETH, while bsc is an altcoin that has just been created in crypto even though it has very good growth, but cannot beat the popularity of etherem in crypto,

that could be one of the reasons why ethereum is stronger than Bsc, and on the other hand Ethereum has a larger network like Bitcoin so it deserves to be the king of all Altcoins to date
^ There is no doubt, why BSC becomes stronger than ETH?
BSC was under on the network of the ETH, it was forked from the ETH due to the concern of high gas fee, but I don't see any reason that gives BSC is better than ETH. Nevertheless, another reason is that BSC is the centralized coin that is own also with centralized exchange while ETH is a pure decentralized one. Probably BSC was good for now because it is commonly used by Binance that supported a lot of traders, but when this exchange will face struggles like compromising from hackers, it could be BSC will change its price direction.
