Are you guys mining this coin with a GPU?

Never used this kind of scrypt before, but I'm hashing with a single HD7950 and reaches about 5 mh/s (5000 kh/s) according to the miner and http://coin-base.org/applecoin/index.php?page=statistics&action=pool. Is that true? How's that even possible, and how is it possible that your hashrates aren't that high? As I'm often one of the slowest miners in a pool/..

EDIT: looks like Statrum is out again. Atleast, on 4460.

If you are using 7950, you can solo mine. I am using a 7950 and I have already solo mined 70 blocks in 24 hours. It has been slow for the last few hours. I have mined 7 blocks in the last 3 hours.

Allright. Thanks for the advise, Will try it out tonight I think. Could you post your .bat file, ik mean what you have filled in there. That would help me start up solo mining.

Edit: still receiving that
Code:
[2013-11-19 18:11:43] Started ybcminer 3.3.1-yac2

[2013-11-19 18:11:43] Started ybcminer 3.3.1-yac2
[2013-11-19 18:11:43] Probing for an alive pool
[2013-11-19 18:11:48] Pool 0 slow/down or URL or credentials invalid

When trying to solomine.

Finally got it working. Allthough my GPU makes a weird sound mining this coin. I don't reconize this sound while mining other Scrypt coins.

Thank you Brewins!

The difficulty is rising I guess. Unfortunately I'm not even able to mine it..  There are already 20 miners on http://coin-base.org/applecoin/. Come on, someone should be able to help me ^^

EDIT: do I have to do anything with the 'conf.txt' in the map of the Applecoin Miner?

for applecoin mining in a pool, jsut download the applecoiin miner,

then edit the solo.bat file to the following
Quote
applecoinminer -o stratum+tcp://coin-base.org:3460 -u <enter your username.worker here> -p <enter password here> --scrypt --Nfmin 4 --Nf max 30 --StartT 1384720832 -I 13

Once you have done that, simply click on the .bat file and it will start mining for you

I was looking for such an answer, thank you. But that isn't working either, as the programs closes right away after I opens it. It shows '--Nf unregonized option' for about 0,1 second.

Edit It should be nfmax 30. Without the space. I'm gonna try it.

Where do you use that Minimal (ApplecoinMiner.exe --scrypt -u ortchi.worker -p xyz -o stratum+tcp://coin-base.org:4460  --Nfmin 4 --Nfmax 30 --StartT 1384397321)? You filled that in a .bat?
Maybe I'm doing something wrong with my path in the .bat file (which I'm also trying, but hasn't worked either).

Does it work when you open the ApplecoinMiner and fill in:
stratum+tcp://coin-base.org:3460 (or :4460)
Don007.1
x

?
2367  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Applecoin- Live- Download Now, No Premine, GPU Miner, Pool, Block Explorer on: November 19, 2013, 01:00:48 PM
Yeah, that's the same one I am using. Very strange..

What do you exactly fill in when you open the Appleminer? Could someone try to give me some hashrate for a bit? I fill in the following:

stratum+tcp://coin-base.org:3340 (or :4460)
Don007.1

I'm using that 3.3.1 version. Which version are you guys using?
2369  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Applecoin- Live- Download Now, No Premine, GPU Miner, Pool, Block Explorer on: November 19, 2013, 12:46:55 PM
I'm using an older version (2.11.4) which is working for all the other coins i'm mining. Should I update it?
2370  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Applecoin- Live- Download Now, No Premine, GPU Miner, Pool, Block Explorer on: November 19, 2013, 12:43:50 PM
Cgminer? Í think I found the problem.. Was using that Miner that came with this coin and which you are promoting (•2. Download a miner. •Applecoin-Miner Windows(YACMINER): Download here).

Let me try CGminer.
2371  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Applecoin- Live- Download Now, No Premine, GPU Miner, Pool, Block Explorer on: November 19, 2013, 12:19:34 PM
You are now connected to that pool Kazhamania right? I see your name at the website.

How did you fixed it?

Edit: It's working for me too now, with stratum+tcp://coin-base.org:4460.  Grin

Edit2; Allthough.. I'm just finding blocks (according to the miner) and no shares. What should I do to fix this?

'Pool 0 slow/down or URL or credentials invalid'. What am I doing wrong for solo mine? I already changed the .bat file.

Neither pool mining is working on your pool JohnDorien

Edit; tried quite a lot. Unfortunately isn't working for me..
2374  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is now $900 in China on: November 18, 2013, 11:08:43 PM
Unbelieveble! The coin is really skyrocketing! The 'high' on MrGox is currently about $780,-, which is also a lot.

I'm wondering when the correction will take place, as this can't go on like this..
2375  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: FeatherCoin - New Litecoin based coin on: November 18, 2013, 11:05:59 PM
That "worthless coin" you describe is worth about $0,12 each according to http://coinmarketcap.com/. And on some websites even more, https://crypto-trade.com/trade/ftc_usd. That ain't bad isn't it?

Proud to be a member of the FeatherCoin Community!

2377  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] TagCoin - The World's First Rewards Coin - Released on: November 18, 2013, 10:43:51 PM
TAG.CryptoPools.com is now paying out 15 TAG for block finders on top of their normal reward.  The 15 TAG bonus will be active for the next 50 blocks on the pool.

I sent some hashrate power to you for the last hours, allthough it's hard for me to receive that bonus hehe. We need more miners!

have to put a stop to TAGs given to referrals off the website for a while..too many fake accounts being created...probably better to have them given away from within communities where the owner can approve the users.

Allright. That isn't a bad decision. You should only accept people who really wants to be part of the community Smiley. Not people who just want to earn a quick Tagcoin.

By the way, how's the enviroment of your company doing at the Philippines? I see the most horrible pictures on my television right now, as the Netherlands currently is collecting money to donate to help organisations such as the Red Cross who are helping out there in the Philippines, by making a live TV-show. We past the 17,3 million Euro's already! Smiley

2379  Local / Nederlands (Dutch) / Re: Forse koersstijging Bitcoin on: November 18, 2013, 10:26:27 PM

2380  Local / Nederlands (Dutch) / Re: Forse koersstijging Bitcoin on: November 18, 2013, 10:14:59 PM
