AMD’s Radeon RX 7000 series GPU reveal is coming on November 3rd
Cheekily dropping the news two hours before Nvidia’s RTX 40 series showcase, AMD senior vice president Scott Herkelman has tweeted a date for the official reveal of the RDNA 3 graphics card generation: November 3rd 2022. That’s less than two weeks before we’ll see how AMD will combat the GeForce RTX 4090 and its brethren, most likely taking the form of the Radeon RX 7000 series of GPUs.

Intel, finally. The company fully presented its flagship graphics card Arc A770 and named its price
The Arc A770 is the flagship of the line, but it only costs $330. This is because, according to the available tests, it will compete with the GeForce RTX 3060 and sometimes with the RTX 3060 Ti.

2366  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Eth alternative for RTX 3090 Ti ? on: September 29, 2022, 09:33:59 AM
Start mining the forks, years ago many talked shit about Bitcoin Cash and in bull market Bitcoin Cash surge very high, same thing can happen to Eth Pow or the ETH fair in next bull market, if ETH reach 10,000$ per coin these forks can be around 300$ or more.
Have you studied the profit when mining on Ethereum POW?
If you pay for electricity, then it is more profitable for you to buy these coins, and not to mine it.
And the RTX 3090 Ti video cards are better to keep, but the new bull market and video cards will be relevant in mining for a very long time.

From what I can remember. GPUs weren’t really flooded back in 2018. Only deals to be had were maybe on damaged GPUs with bad fans. But I remember having no issues selling my RX GPUs back in those days for a fair price.

2015 was similar. No deals unless the GPUs was damaged or needed work. This time it seems like it’s a repeat. Seems miners are holding on and selling slowly not the flood the market. Or tons of gamers are picking them up quickly.
I think its bit early. Miners in debt will start flooding as soon as they recieve their paycheck.at this price no way they can make any profit unless they were ready.
Pain will continue. Now Buterin talking about doge and zcash also to switch to POS so looks like they will max pain to miners.
Vitalik Buterin talks a lot, and his coin turns into a centralized bank. For GPU miners, doge and zcash are not relevant because of ASICs, and mining on ASICs now brings little profit. Inexperienced miners will sell mining hardware and older miners will have more mining power.
2369  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: RADIANT RXD mining GPU on: September 28, 2022, 11:45:47 AM
help set up coin RADIANT mining in my GPU. 20.09 listing TXbit exchange Huh Huh Huh Huh

You already have instructions how to mine but it is one of those coins who is mined only from people in the long term project of the coin.I checked as this thread made me curious but when I saw in the minerstat website a big warning that this coin has had low volume trading in the last 24 h and last week it reinforced my view that this coin is one of them that you can mine for a month, put it in the wallet and move on to other coins. It is a hit or miss coin like many others that erupted after the Ethereum merge.

For the moment there is no real profitable coin to mine,I mean profitable like the days before the Ethereum merge so only bold people choose a coin they believe in and mine it for the future.

Low trading volume because its newly listed. Wait some days for and the volume will rise fast. The hashrate and difficulty is also exploding at the moment. But i don´t recommend to hold it for long.
At this price, mining is not profitable on video cards. The future of this coin is now very doubtful.

2370  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: RAM stick question on: September 28, 2022, 11:30:58 AM
I have two RAM sticks in a motherboard, one has 2400mhz speed and the other is 2600Mhz speed will the two RAM sticks work perfectly without hindering the performance of each other either in crypto mining or just using the PC for task work?
In most cases, this will not create problems for mining, if you do not mine monero on the processor. The memory frequency does not have much effect on the mining of the main coins for video cards. My mining farms have DDR3 installed and some have mixed memory of 1333Mhz and 1600Mhz.
2371  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: how to save GPU POW on: September 28, 2022, 11:26:19 AM
When comparing RTX 4090 to RTX 3090 Ti, we can see a lot of similar memory specs, but the core specs are 60% better than the RTX 4090. Based on this, we can assume that the hashrate of 4090 will be similar to or slightly higher than the RTX 3090 Ti on the memory-intensive algorithms. This means around 140MH/s on the ETChash algorithm.

Because RTX 4090 has about 60% higher core count and about 100% faster core clock speeds, we can assume that the hashrate on the core intensive algorithms will be around 50%-80% higher than on the 3090 Ti.

https://www.nicehash.com/blog/post/nvidia-rtx-4090-specs-and-mining-hashrate?lang=en

The new generation will not make life much more difficult for miners.
2372  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: RTX 4090 and others on: September 28, 2022, 11:23:24 AM
Im curious: what kind of card will be next rtx 5090 Huh Looking at these pictures i guess dude from toutube was right with gigantic card  Grin
The rtx 6090 video card will not be installed in the system unit, but will be sold in a separate case Smiley
Now the most expensive graphics cards usually have the longest payback.RTX 4090 video cards will not see mining now, but perhaps later they will be actively bought by miners.

lolMiner 1.59a

Changes
Significantly improved Kaspa performance and efficiency on Nvidia Turing and Ampere GPUs. Also the new codes are now working much better when GPUs are power limited.
Slightly improved Kaspa performance and efficiency on AMD Navi and Big Navi GPUs
Kaspa performance statistics should now be a bit more smooth
Fixes
(1.59a) fixed a bug with 1.59 causing defect shares on acc-pool

2374  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Why is difficulty still very high on: September 28, 2022, 11:11:41 AM
It's too late to sell some graphic cards now I believe, when are these miners going to leave the game for us that still believe? Lower difficulty should be in play by now but some are just too stubborn it seems   Grin leave the game for us that don't care about profit today, we just want more coins.
If we recall 2018, then the main sales of video cards and the capitulation of miners began en masse in 4-6 months. So far, little time has passed and many miners turn off video cards, but do not sell them, and hope for a new season. I also disabled 80% of my mining farms, but I will not sell video cards.
2375  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Eth alternative for RTX 3090 Ti ? on: September 28, 2022, 11:05:14 AM
hello, I have 24 rtx 3090. Since eth mining is over, I could not find a profitable coin. Can anyone suggest an alternative coin?
I hope you have paid back your graphics cards or most of your investment.
https://whattomine.com/gpus/74-nvidia-geforce-rtx-3090-ti?cost=0.05&cost_currency=USD&button=
I do not know the cost of your electricity, but if your price is more than 5 cents, then it is better to turn off the video cards, because it is unprofitable. Repair of the cooling system will then cost more than your profit. It is better to keep the video cards in good condition until the next season.

2377  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: ETHPoW on: September 25, 2022, 12:23:13 PM
ETH pow is presently trading at 13$ per coin, I saw this coming as it's already too oversold, it was 8$ days ago and I was waiting for the coin to crash down to the 5$ range but now I think it's not going to happen again, hopefully the mining difficulty goes down in few months later.
Mining of this coin is now unprofitable, as well as other forks. And on expensive video cards, the profit is so minimal that the payback of video cards takes several years. Until now, there are a lot of video cards in mining, and many miners are looking for profitable coins.

From September 18 to September 24, it was profitable mining, but after many bloggers talked about this coin, the profit ended. According to the video of the French miner, set up mining without problems, a translator is not needed if you are well versed in Hive OS.

NVIDIA Retained 80% Discrete GPU Market Share Versus AMD’s 20% In Q2 2022 Despite Gaming Revenue Losses
https://wccftech.com/nvidia-retained-80-discrete-gpu-market-share-amd-20-in-q2-2022-despite-gaming-revenue-losses/
It is stated that the oversupply issue is being made a huge deal and NVIDIA can move their inventory really quickly through their partners. The GPU vendor is currently planning to offer a second round of price cuts in September which will bring prices down even further.

Selling at a discount won't kill them. Because before that, the companies had a very good profit.
2380  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: a10 pro miner gathering dust on: September 24, 2022, 08:50:29 AM
I bought a A 10 pro asic miner in may 2022 and now I don't know what to mine with the asic anymore, I tried selling but no one wants to buy, I made a big mistake it seems I was so eager to make some money.

A lot of people are in your situation.  Not just with ASICs, but also GPUs.  I've learned that when people get overly invested into things like this and are willing to pay outrageous prices, that's the time to sell your crypto and mining hardware.  Now, as mining is unprofitable for nearly everyone, is the time to be buying.  It's hard to make yourself do the opposite of your emotions, but that's the way to make money.  So my advice is to not do what everyone else is doing.  Maybe do something crazy like mine at a loss even.  I'm sure in 3 years you'd be happy you did.

In short, don't let market prices determine your actions.  Make a plan and stick to it.
If you want to sell your video cards, it won't work now because there is no demand. The recommended retail price of the RTX 4080 and RTX 4090 is good, and the RTX 3060 is already on sale for $250. That is, there are many difficulties for selling even at a low price. It is even worse with ASICs, if it is unprofitable, it is much more difficult to sell it.
