If you increase the hashrate, then the consumption increases to 100 watts. But on the market, the price of two 5600xt video cards is equal to the price of 3060ti. I have 119 watt in the wall from the 3060 ti at 61 Mhsh which I think is a great performance/consumption ratio and for 83 watts getting 38.5 Mhsh from that Rx 5600 Xt does not look that bad,well except the price which should not be equal to the 3060 ti,maybe the Rx 5700 xt/6700 xt may justify such price and still not completely but of course these cards are with better hash rate than 5600 xt and with very little difference in power consumption. I would buy these cards if they were like 150-200 dollars each one as 5 of these would give me 200 Mhsh almost and just 415 watt electricity consumption which I think is one of the best options to continue mining your favorite coin. I don't sell the 5600xt graphics card for two reasons. This is a good hash rate for Ethereum forks with low consumption and very low cost in the used parts market. In my country, such video cards with a guarantee cost 150-170 dollars, and there are a lot of offers. Look at the prices in your markets, I would recommend sapphire. |

This is due to electricity cost and other maintenance cost nevertheless I am not discouraging you from investing in hardware mining but I strongly suggest you carry out research and analyze it's profitability
What mining do you recommend? If you advise POS mining, which is called staking, then the profit there is 6-15% per annum. A graphics card has a shorter payback period and you own the hardware.But I think there will still be a time when the payback of a video card will be less than 6 months, but it is better to buy a video card or asic when its cheap. |

I can understand why they always optimize for the latest generation graphic cards since miners (at least the big ones) will buy the latest cards when it is available. Unfortunately, the same thing happens when it comes to gaming performance updates for older cards. It seems manufacturers like Nvidia and AMD are trying to push users to buy their latest cards and sacrifice their user satisfaction for short-term gain.
I sell my old video cards to gamers and most of the younger gamers use old video cards and 4-6 generation intel core processors. I myself play on an old video card, although I can buy the latest GPU. For old video cards, you do not need to install new drivers, because the performance will not be better, and maybe even worse. |

I dont mind if they are painted or not.i have couple of rx480s from china they still working bought in 2019.yes condition was dead very bad. Very dirty.pads were hard as steel,fans are gone but after good care they working well.if it very very cheap i go to risk.i wish i could order gpus from china again like old good days
The rx480 graphics cards were indestructible and they work great 6 years after mining. This works at high temperatures up to 90 degrees on video cards with a faulty cooling system without gas. But not all video cards are like that. Even now the local market has very good prices, and I would take new video cards. |

The price of your electricity? Do you have a place to install ASIC? Asics are very noisy and some could consume 3 or more kilowatts, so there will be a lot of noise in the apartment and you need to make a separate power cable so that there is no fire. |

This is another reason why I believe gaming on a console is so much cheaper than PC gaming without having to worry about low fps and whatnot...now imagine having to invest in a GPU just to get better video memory or fps with lots of money for a used item that can die any time... and also the worst part about buying these products is that they are not covered by a warranty if you will be importing them from some other part of the world, in a nutshell, some bad business practice from our Chinese friends to be honest needs not to be supported.
You can find scams everywhere where the price is cheap, such as selling cheap cars at auctions in the US, where people can check the car only after purchase. In China, there are new and used good video cards with a guarantee, but not everyone is satisfied with a 10-20% discount. |
