Bitmain’s upcoming Antminer KS3 ASIC miner for Kaspa (KAS) has been announced and it boasts some crazy specs for sure, especially compared to what is already available on the market. The hashrate of the KS3 ASIC miner is supposedly 8.3 TH/s with a 3188 Watts of power usage, meaning a 0.38 J/GHs power efficiency. As a comparison a single RTX 3070 GPU optimized does something like 600 MH/s at 90 Watts of power used, so a single KS3 ASIC miner is equal to around 14000 Nvidia RTX 3070 GPUs in terms of hashrate and is going to be way more power efficient. With the current total network hashrate of Kaspa (KAS) at around 1.16 PH/s at this very moment, doubling it with the Antminer KS3 ASIC miners would only take just like 140 devices and Bitmain should be producing way more than that for sure… https://cryptonews.net/news/mining/20993937/Profit about a million a year now. And what will be the profit in September? https://www.asicminervalue.com/miners/bitmain/antminer-ks3-8-3th

Project: Preturnio - a full text search engine for Bitcoin

I looked up the specs and you are correct, there is no output what so ever. I assumed it included a basic DVI output (single). So basically the only way a gamer can use this GPU is if they SLI with another GPU which is similar spec and has an output, I don't think any gamer will want to go thru that trouble.
I remember when these came out. They actually came out when ETH profitability was low because it came out in 2018, and many bought these and later sold as a loss until the bull market came back in early 2019. So they got fairly good years out of them. Almost as a good value as the RX series from AMD.
In 2019, similar p106 video cards were sold very cheaply on aliexpress with instructions on how to configure this GPU to work on a motherboard with a built-in video output. Then the masters learned how to fix video outputs on these video cards. Now the market is full of offers and gamers will not buy it.

A miner usually decides to mine by considering several aspects before starting mining, such as safety considerations, health considerations, environmental impact, legal complications, etc. Since you don't have any financial complications, you can set up your mining project far away from residential areas. And above all the security aspects of mining should be prioritized. You should start mining after fully following all the mining restrictions. Most mining projects usually don't get permission from the government so it's better for you if you can start mining after getting permission from the government.
Mining requires a lot of electricity and if you do not have green electricity, then your mining will be banned or not allowed. You can mine like in Russia, buying a private house inexpensively in the village and using 5-10 kilowatts for mining, but you need to be prepared for the problems and checks of power engineers. 5 years ago it was good, and the power engineers were not interested in consumption in my house if I pay my bills on time. Now mining is much more difficult to organize.

That is the beauty of this ASIC,they are always improving the firmware to keep and mining the most of the well known coins during this time,of course the ETCHASH algorithm and I don't know but most likely they will implement dual mining in the future, there are certain pools that tries to be friendly to dual mining even for ASIC devices and one of such pools is the Ezil.me which I always use in dual mining ETC+ZIL.I am only mining with 100 Mhsh and 200 watt power consumption but I would love to have that ASIC as I said if I had the possibility to find it here where I am.
I heard that ASICs have problems with dual mining, so the pools stopped allowing ZIL dual mining. ETC is an old dinosaur, and no big changes in profit are expected on this coin, but it is possible to get a long payback for equipment. You can always exchange that ETC which is what I do to any of 500 supported coins in Atomic wallet and that can be considered as a good option because of low fees compared to other places.I agree with you that ETC is a dinosaur as it was a giant sleeping in 2020 or 2021 I think where it got from that 9 dollars to 179 dollars which is the all time high of this coin. For people who believe in another all time up to that level which from now would be just a x10 multiplier (gambler's term ) is not worth but for people who are expecting at least a near x100 multiplier in the long term may still be the best choice to mine. I don't want to buy asics for this coin, it's easier for me to buy this coin now. For your video cards, this is unprofitable mining, I think you need to look for more profitable coins and then buy Ethereum Classic. Not all exchanges had a price of $179, I sold this coin for a little more than $100. I think it was just before summer and that 179 dollars as a price lasted very short as a time frame so you have sold at a good price nevertheless.I remember one guy here who sold 2000 of such coins at 9 dollars where he had mined them when they were 3 in exchanges,he was really sad when he saw the price skyrocketing to such levels. I want to buy an ASIC but only an ASIC that I can run at home like the one here X4 JAS at 240 watt power as that is almost what I consume with 2 GPU-s at 100 Mhsh right now,but I would get over 500 Mhsh which is over x5 profit more crypto rewards daily than I do know. I think that you will be at a disadvantage compared to Antminer E9 Pro buyers. You can buy a higher performance ASIC if you have a private house and install it in a garage or other room where the noise will not bother you. New asics will become cheaper and the hashrate will increase.

Taiwan’s Defense Minister, Chiu Kuo-cheng, has responded to US Congressman Seth Moulton’s proposal, stating that the Taiwanese armed forces would not stand for the destruction of any of their facilities.
Congressman Moulton recently suggested that the US should warn China by threatening to target Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. (TSMC) if China were to attack Taiwan.
During a conference hosted by the Milken Institute, a California-based think tank, US Congressman Seth Moulton was asked about the potential deterrent impact of US chip policy on China.
In response, Moulton suggested that the US should explicitly warn China that targeting Taiwan could destroy Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. (TSMC).
“The US should make it very clear to the Chinese that if you invade Taiwan, we’re going to blow up TSMC,” he said. https://eurasiantimes.com/us-threatens-to-blow-up-taiwans-semiconductor-manufacturing/video https://t.me/HomishTG/5187TSMC market share over 50%.There will be a huge shortage of components around the world.

some plans about technologies TSMC Samsung https://t.me/HomishTG/5177https://t.me/HomishTG/5178There is an opinion that new models of processors and video cards will cost more, because the construction of new factories is a very expensive investment. And earlier we were told that it is difficult to make 3 nm, but today 4 nm is already a common technology.

NVIDIA RTX 5090 to Leverage TSMC’s 3nm (N3) Node, Launching in Late 2024 The upcoming RTX 50 series GPUs, codenamed Blackwell, are planned for a late 2024 release. Like Ada, it will also be a monolithic design. According to Kopite7kimi, these GPUs will be fabbed on TSMC’s 3nm (N3) node. You can expect transistor counts of over a billion and densities of nearly 150 billion/mm². Blackwell should offer core clocks of over 3GHz and bus widths of up to 512 bits, resulting in memory bandwidths rivaling HBM memory. https://www.hardwaretimes.com/nvidia-rtx-5090-to-leverage-tsmcs-3nm-n3-node-launching-in-late-2024/For mining the bigger the number of transistors which the lower the nm production the bigger the numbers that can be fitted in should be a good choice (despite us not knowing what will happen to mining until 1.5 years from now).Rivaling the HBM memory is also a super good thing also as it means we would have much more algos to choose from when using these cards in mining.I wonder what will be AMD response to this as they did make an agreement to produce 4nm cards wtih Samsung but this news from Nvidia should clearly make them think as most likely they will lose the war again like every time against Nvidia in GPU market. What AMD has to offer gamers instead of NVIDIA RTX 4090 now? Nothing. Or come up with a very hot dual-chip video card at a cheaper price. At this rate, they will lose the mining market unless Nvidia comes up with new mining restrictions. I don't think Nvidia would want to lose that much again, they lost drastically and the revenues at that time where they implemented LHR-Lite Hash Rate fell down dramatically,at such a point that one year after doing so their revenues compared to when they did not put the LHR in place were scary, something that led us all to "some magical guy" who could by pass such limitations while we all know it was an Nvidia insider. So I exclude the possibility of restricting mining again, especially now that mining is not such popular as it was in 2020-2021 and 2022. Maybe Nvidia sales managers still think that their video cards are bought by gamers and not miners. Time will tell if they have learned this lesson, or if they will make LHR models again. Then they themselves will release the drivers to remove the restrictions.

If mining is prohibited in a country, this does not mean that miners do not mine cryptocurrency there. Rumor has it that China still uses a lot of mining hardware because they have electricity surplus areas and the cost of electricity is cheap.

Please don't do this - AliExpress GPU Backplate Cooling https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VZayTZg3ajU&ab_channel=der8auerENThere are many opinions on this topic, but I heard positive reviews about such devices for hot 3080 and 3090 video cards, and it helped to reduce memory temperatures. It makes no sense to install such a device on budget graphics cards.

8K gaming at max settings now requires 11 to 20 GB of RAM. For 4K, 8 to 12 GB is generally enough. But you can play on 8GB video cards. On games with a resolution of 2K, a video card with 8 GB is enough. For games with a resolution of 4K, you need to buy 10, 12 or 16 GB of memory.

According to the photograph and the information that was provided, an undisclosed store in Asia has AMD Radeon RX 7600 graphics cards in stock. This does not mean that the card is on sale though, as many retailers often prepare stock before the sales embargo lifts. However, this is a direct confirmation that there is indeed a Radeon RX 7600 GPU, and it is about to launch very soon. More importantly, this leak featuring Sapphire Radeon RX 7600 PULSE GPU, so a custom model, confirms that this SKU will feature 8GB memory. This card is reportedly said to launch around the same time NVIDIA introduces its GeForce RTX 4060 Ti 8GB graphics, which is now rumored to also feature 16GB variant later. https://videocardz.com/newz/amd-radeon-rx-7600-8gb-graphics-card-spotted-in-asian-store

As I observe prices in the video card markets, Nvidia is forcing its partners to reduce prices for the mid-range RTX 3060-3070 video cards so that they do not interfere with sales of new video card models. Intel doesn't have that performance yet, but they can offer competition at a lower price point.
