CryptoCrane’s a member on the forums (link here). They’re also available at their website, eBay store, and Amazon store for anybody looking to get to them. There’s another website that I know that also sells bitcoin mining hardware (based in California or Washington) but I haven’t seen them in a long time and I can’t remember the name. If I do, I’ll change this post.

I’m able to heat my entire bedroom during the winter with a couple RX 470s running in my room, and when the temperatures come up in the spring like what’s happening right now where I live, I move them to my garage. Simple, easy, relatively quiet, and I don’t lose anything from this sort of setup.

If you haven’t already, make sure you’ve also got a thread posted about this in Scam Accusations. It’ll get some more attention there, and it seems to be somewhat more relevant in that forum board. When it’s completely proven the pool is a scam there, the Bitcointalk account associated with the pool will be negged for trust.

Never heard of such a device, I might get one of these in the future, good review!
From what I can tell, this device does up to 1920W at 120V (120V 15A) from an Amazon review. How much does it go up to at 220/240V assuming it can run at that voltage? I just want to make sure I don't break the meter if I put too much power through it.

Mining with CPUs in this day and age just generally isn't profitable as whole anymore, with the exception of more recent Ryzen and 6-8th gen I5-i7 processors. The days of easy mining are over for the most part, and you'll need to make an investment into better equipment to make anything worth your time. I love mining and I hope more people get into it as it's one of the more interesting parts of crypto IMO, but this just isn't the way to go.

Can't log in for over an hour now. Live chat says there is a "technical issue". I was able to deposit and play two hours ago and now "technical issue". I'm able to login right now on a computer that hasn't been on the site before, though it took me about 30 seconds to just get into the site and a page load request even timed out with the error SQLSTATE[HY000] [2002] Connection timed out. Just wait a bit, FortuneJack's good at fixing website issues. I'm guessing it's an issue with their web server.

Did a quick whois search for this site, here's what I got: Domain name: bitswiss.ch
Holder of domain name: Bitswiss Technologies AG Mirko Quarta Sihleggstrasse 23 CH-8832 Wollerau Switzerland
Technical contact: switchplus Mitarbeiter Kundendienst Limmatquai 112 CH-8001 Zurich Switzerland
Registrar: switchplus AG
First registration date: 2011-06-09
DNSSEC:N
Name servers: ns1.switchplus.ch [80.67.16.124] ns2.switchplus.ch [193.223.77.3] Interestingly enough the site's been registered since 2011, but this is almost definitely vaporware. Almost no technical information except for some vague wording that barely relates to relevant mining info at all. A Google image search of the printer both straight from the site and flipped horizontally in case they flipped it gave no results, though. The lack of grammar and uncapitalized words everywhere including 'cooling' and 'about us' doesn't speak too well of the site either.

Holybitcoin used to sell lots of SHA256 ASICs and they still do, though their S9s and R4s are OOS and they're currently sold out of Gekkoscience 2Pacs. I bought an SP20 from them about 1 1/2 years ago, and it's been hashing flawlessly until I shut it down a couple months ago, and Scott (site owner) is active for support almost all the time.

When mining on nicehash it will show the last share time as anywhere from 20 seconds up to a couple minutes. Is this normal? I'm using S9's and when I mine on Slush the last share time is usually anywhere from a couple to a few seconds. Any input is appreciated!
Slush's pool difficulty is configured differently than Nicehash's. What really matters is your average hashrate; I used to have the same issue running my S7s on Nicehash- they would have long share times (likely because the difficulty Nicehash set for them was too low), and I ended up getting all mine on Kanopool. As long as your miner averages 13/14TH/S it's good and you're getting paid. If not, something's wrong with the difficulty.

Also, make sure to watch out for temps (you may need to change your GPU fan curve or affix your GPU fan speed to a set amount). For just one GPU I like to use MSI afterburner to tweak fan settings, memory clocks and all the goodies. I often see people forgetting about temperatures when going about changing their GPU settings, it's not difficult to do and lowering temps goes a long way in terms of GPU longevity.

FortuneJack's been extremely quick in answering any questions I've had about their casino and any issues as well. I typically receive a response within an hour or two in most cases, and they've also got a sizeable community presence. English is good on their support, nothing bad on the grammar side and support keeps things short and concise.
Crypto-Games has also been good with support in my experience, though I have not touched them since about a year ago. Things most likely haven't changed much from then, though.

@stomachgrowls @btcdiggingmaster : Just because you do not have any issues doesn't mean Binance doesn't have bugs. And dealing with people's money Binance should be more professional. If you take the time to do your research you will find HUNDREDS of cases just like mine around the globe, from January 2018 on (sources: Reddit, Telegram, Steemit and many more), so it's CLEARLY not a network/OP issue but Binance's. This is NOT trolling, just addressing a huge bug on Binance, because of that I haven't been able to trade this week (yeah I know you should never leave your tokens on an exchanger...). And even worse it's the solution... reset sms (A total annoying and time wasting way).
@Pursuer Thanks for the info! Can you name some of them so I can check them out?
Waves DEX, Etherdelta and 0x are some of the more popular DEXes out there. I’ve personally used all three and regularly use Etherdelta for some tokens that are exclusively listed there, and IIRC Etherdelta is the most widely used out of the three I listed. Waves DEX supports coins and not just tokens like Etherdelta or 0x, but unfortunately volume is somewhat low on it, which is common among all DEXes. They’re just not the most popular option most of the time, unfortunately.

I honestly don’t even know why the investor based games section even exists here as it’s just throwing your money away, but I guess it’s a valid form of gambling too. 99% of the time people lose their money in that part of the forums, and in the end basically every site there collapses anyways. Basically the worst form of gambling (investing?) possible.

$2-$3 per day from mining on some old stuff or on the mobile? Well good luck with that, currently a 1080Ti gives a bit more than this.
If you’re mining on Nicehash the 1080Ti actually makes just $1.55 a day after electrical costs of $0.10/kWh. The 1080Ti only makes $2/day when you have near free electricity. Only the Titan V makes more than $2 a day after electrical costs at $0.10/kWh (it earns ~$3.00 a day), and it retails for $1200 from Nvidia’s store.

Another difference between trading and gambling is that in the long run in gambling, there is no way you can possibly win. The house edge prvents you from doing so, whilst in trading things are more unpredictable. In both cases you should never go all-in and put all your eggs in one basket, but there are times when trading can turn into gambling too. It really just depends on what type of action you take while trading for you to essentially be gambling your money away. Your emotions should never take the wheel in both trading and gambling, though the primary purpose of gambling is just to feel the rush and enjoy things, not to make money.

the real question is if/when bitmain MAY toss the supposed 1.5gh 1,300-watt units and mine them over the summer
I suspect they have already deployed initial units to Hashnest to start replacing L3 / L3+ units there, but it was probably a small batch mostly for engineering/testing purposes to validate the design and to get the software calibrated. Speaking of hashnest.. I hope they re up the stock of the miners (or for new miners) sometime! There's been no miner release since the L3+ IIRC on Hashnest, and nothing much has been happening there as of late, never mind miner restocks. It's a shame they price their units so high compared to buying directly from the Bitmain shop while they're for sale usually- it's a pretty big premium to pay for cloud mining, but at the very least they're reputable.

A better alternative would be lending to an more reputable exchange. Yobit's not a great exchange in my book from past experiences with them (delayed withdrawals and deposits, wallet problems all the time, etc.), but loaning to an exchange can sometimes be more profitable and more secure than using Yobit's investbox. I've seen numerous negative reviews from a thread about the Investbox ( https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1922048.120), and I wouldn't recommend continuing to invest there. The vagueness of the Investbox's description doesn't exactly help. Note that there's always risk when your coins are outside a wallet that you control. I would not suggest putting all your eggs in investing to exchanges. Only invest what you can afford to lose.

I've used Nitrogensports for a long time to bet on CS:GO matches, and I've never had any major issues with them. I did have some issues with payment processing back then, but support helped out real quick and rectified the issue.
If you're betting on CS:GO matches, HLTV.org provides a small list of betting sites on match pages, and even the respective odds on those sites. I've also used EGB and Betway in the past on their list.
The only thing I've ever heard about eBettle is that they sponsored a CS:GO team for a Major championship back in 2015, and both their site and the team didn't do so well. I recall seeing many issues about their site back in 2015 and almost nothing else otherwise.

Besides the 0.5% fee and odd total wagered amount, although the website is extremely laggy on mobile it does work. I suspect this may be a result of the last bets list; perhaps an option to disable this on mobile devices would help decrease the lag on the site.
Livechat is a good system to have on a dice site like this, but it's somewhat trivial as long as a good support system is present, which I see with the freshdesk link to support in your FAQ. I'm currently on a mobile device so I can't see all the features, but things look okay otherwise (ignoring the issues mentioned above).

Does anybody know how long Bitmain is going to manufacture L3s? Are they going to stop at some point? If they don't stop there is no sense in buying them as eventually they will be worthless.
You posted on the wrong thread. L3s have been out of production for a very long time, and they're much weaker than the L3+s currently on sale. Any future discussion that is about the current L3+ miners should be conducted here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1864920.0My guess as to the L3+ situation is they have most likely stopped L3+ production and have begun production on a new Scrypt miner or are ready to produce a new Scrypt miner. This would explain the extremely cheap L3+s Bitmain are selling right now (trying eliminate current stock of L3+s to make room for a new miner).
