2381  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [NXT] Why is trading volume so low? on: June 15, 2014, 01:48:11 AM
Isn't the truth there to see if you look?

Cinni Coin - market cap $1.5m trades more than NXT every day.

NXT is just like a country coin, the difference being that instead of trying to reserve coins to distribute fairly among the citizens, a few sick bloated greed gluttons own ALL of NXT.

The NXT pre-mine scam coins should be removed from the market cap, and we would only show distributed coins not in whales direct control.

Those distributed coins  = maybe an ACTUAL market cap of $2 million based on NXT volume.

Well said.

NXT is lucky if it breaks $100,000 volume in a day, actually the last 6 month trading volume for NXT is LESS THAN $100k.

It is proof a few whales own all the coins, and are selling a trickle to finance sock puppet promotion of the scam.

Then today is your lucky day, $180,000 in last 24 hours. $2.2 million dollars around the PayExpo. Average is around $200,000 dollars now I'd estimate. Again, these things are easily checked.

How many people were involved in the launch and how did it launch? The replies to this are always entertaining.  Grin Grin Grin

People should really worry about LTC, massive sinking ship now technology has caught up. Especially now people know about Nxt. Just feel sorry for anyone who spent thousands of dollars on mining gear recently. Down trend continues, so sad.

Still less than Monero and Cinni.

Gliss on Coinmarketcap should adjust NEM's capitalization calculation.  NxT's real capitalization is less than $3 million

We need to start a campaign on this.

Gliss needs to adjust this - NXT is just = Ripple.  Same fake market cap.

+1

Coinmarketcap campaign to recalculate NxT capitalization.
2382  Economy / Economics / Re: What are your thoughts on Japan? on: June 15, 2014, 01:27:45 AM
Japan had a long recession but nonetheless was able to maintain a fairly strong and robust economy
They are an example of how to handle a non inflationary market
And also a competitor for Group C in the world Cup

I wish it were true.  There isn't much of a strong or a robust economy left in Japan.  Japan's great for those over the age of 60 with savings and seniority in their companies.  Most people under 40 in Japan are currently stuck in temporary work loop (haken employment, staffing agencies, is 30% of the workforce alone).  Living conditions are dropping like a stone, hours continue to go up (14+ hour days just like Victorian England) compared to the prosperity of the 80s and 90s.

I have to give credit that the Japanese do seem to be loyal to their nation, in keeping it homogenous and discouraging brain drain.  Most countries, in Japan's position, the educated youth a long time ago would had packed bags for the United States or Britain and contributed to those economies.
2383  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NXT, the ultimate SCAM, will it die because of 100% pre-mine given to 50 people? on: June 15, 2014, 01:21:47 AM
Less volume than Cinni Coin which is $1.5 million capitalization.

NxT is 'fair distribution', but only fair to those who knew BCnext  Wink
2384  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ***UtopianFuture/patmast3r NEM SCAM. Grand Bitcointalk hoax <<NEM>>. Shocking! on: June 15, 2014, 01:16:17 AM
You know what if I created a coin from scratch I personally would want to own 20% at least I feel like I would deserve it. The fact that NXT probably didnt own that much amazes me. NXT was open for quite a while its not their fault that no one sent in BTC.

The big myth about NXT is that the first stakeholders made so much money when actually in the early stages of NXT anyone had the chance to buy NXT on Bitcointalk and then on Dgex at dirt cheap prices and turn a few bitcoin into a small fortune.

The stupid thing about Qoras distribution is we are still in the early dirt cheap stage and people aren't buying that much yet. People talking on here wont be able to say they didn't know when it rises 1000%.

Though I will get a kick out of saying I told you so to me honest.

So people who dislike NxT are irrational and envious?  NxT less volume than Cinni..  Wink

By the way - I have been following NxT almost as long as the NxT whales.  As soon as it hit Dgex, everyone conspired to engage in price manipulation and then it was always at least $0.01.   A lot of whales got off with 10+ million at the cost of a few $Fiat, and yet you're telling me it was 'cheap enough' at $0.01 (never mind $0.04 - it raised quickly in weeks) for anyone to have bought in.

Sure...  average person has $100K they're going to throw into a week(s) / month old crypto back in late 2013, to buy off BCnext and the whales who bought in at nothing.

I'm convinced Gorillajam has to be one of the original NxT whales, there's no other explanation to his weird defense of NxT's distribution.

It's always the fucking U.S Army as well, unfortunately FPS games developers have a real hard on for American propaganda so it means we don't get any other armies to play as, of course, if we do, they're usually represented as the 'enemy' and the bad guys, in which case as a British person I just go "Fuck yeah! Lets go kill some obnoxious Americans" Tongue

I've noticed that playing mods for BF2.  Sometimes I would do anything just to play a non-American faction but it's always American vs. Insurgents or Americans vs. Middle Eastern (cheers to confirming stereotypes that Americans irrationally hate muslims.   Cheesy )

There's no reason to end any IPO prematurely, unless you have 1000+ participants.

Every coin, presumably if it's a good one, is going to be here for the next several years?  Why rush an IPO?  Unless the incentive is greed?
2387  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ***UtopianFuture/patmast3r NEM SCAM. Grand Bitcointalk hoax <<NEM>>. Shocking on: June 15, 2014, 01:07:22 AM
In cases of Nxt, Qora, it is likely the founders withheld information about the project and sent in a large portion of the total fund themselves.

It is very easy to do. For example you quietly open an IPO thread and keep it for one month but give out no code, do no marketing. Obviously no one will care and therefore the total contribution would be low. You and and your friends then send in 10-20 btc and claim a big portion of the coin.

NEM has a certain number of stakeholder target. That is the way to go.

Qora had only about 30BTC after a month. During that time he actually released a beta wallet for people to see. He felt the BTC was not enough for a good distribution so he extended another week. Then quite a few people sent in and they ended up with 130 BTC.

Your theory in this case doesn't hold water.

The truth was that there was soooooo many IPO's about the same time as Qora that it got buried among them.

Most of them turned out to be scams. Thats the risk you take with IPO's Thats why you deserve to do well if you spot the 1 in 100 IPO that is actually a good coin. You are more likely to buy a cheap coin and see it rise than get in on a decent IPO generally. My biggest wins have been buying NXt cheap and buying Darkcoin dirt cheap too. I believe my Qora purchases will do just as well.

Yet you trash NEM, even though you are the one (right) who claims he has 10 stakes?

Everyone seems to claim to have 10 to 50 stakes.   Grin  Why not 100 or 1000?!
2388  Other / Off-topic / Re: BATTLEFIELD HARDLINE DEBUT GAMEPLAY TRAILER LEAKS ONLINE on: June 15, 2014, 01:05:06 AM
Battlefield Series is quickly becoming like the Sims, with a new DLC / game / expansion every 3 months no surprise given who controls Dice.

Original BF1942 (with expansions) had 8 factions, combined arms and naval warfare and represented every theater of WW2 (except the Chinese and Finnish theater).

Now Battlefield is just two to three factions.   Roll Eyes

2389  Economy / Economics / Re: 927 People Own Half Of All Bitcoins? Not anymore! on: June 15, 2014, 12:56:15 AM
Weak hands causing a dump?

Doubt it.  The alternates are a micro scale of Bitcoin - all the dumpig is done by the early birds who bought in cheap and don't have the patience to withdraw at a realistic rate compared with volume.  Whales were dumping BTC back in 2010, fearing that the coin could end tomorrow so they should  get their funds out as quick as possible.

Reason Bitcoin is stagnating right now is partially investing euphoria rubbing off but also because the current wave of get-quick-rich millionaires are dumping for $Fiat.  The holders are a minority and they're taking the sacrifice of not indulging in their newfound wealth and also taking the risk they might have $0 at the end of the day.

How so? The Genesis Account is empty.

And Blackcoin and Doge, so all the crap coins are being dumped more than Nxt. This is a bad thing? Third place Nxt, closing on LTC everyday, has the 8th highest volume on a day of huge dumps. Our low volume today shows the strength of Nxt.

Keep it coming, I enjoy the logic displayed Grin Grin Grin You need to change subject faster though to be up there with the most accomplished fudsters. And know a bit more to, so then you can misrepresent the truth slightly, rather than inventing things  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy  I'll catch up here later.

Doesn't matter if it's full or empty.  There are posts from NxTers, back as November, who moved their funds out because of wallet hacks.  Even in Bitcoin - Satoshi doesn't keep his 1 million BTC in one wallet, he scattered it into hundreds / thousands of wallets.
2391  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ***UtopianFuture/patmast3r NEM SCAM. Grand Bitcointalk hoax <<NEM>>. Shocking! on: June 15, 2014, 12:45:46 AM
NxT did not need a developer fund because BCnext prematurely closed the IPO, as soon as people started to get interested, and then he later cashed out his entire stake for around $500K (he needed the money, 'scam succeeded' and ran off and abandoned his own project.  These are facts.  Not providing links, as this happened back in 2013 and it's common knowledge, unless you refuse to believe it, to 'old NxTers' such as myself.  If you want a link then read the old NxT thread, the original one, all your answers are there.  Google is your friend).

In contrast - the NEM developers are hardly being compensated - right now (assuming the price holds) all they would get is a measly $40K, at current prices.    At least one developer had to put his PhD on hold to contribute to NEM.  This is in contrast to the rest of us, who didn't spend hours programming, who got $1.5K just for putting $5 to $15 months ago

BCnext got off relatively easy - all he did was program a $hit browser interface, got it barely working just enough, and then dumped all the real workload on his successors while he ran off with half a cool million. BCnext likely came back to Bitcointalk but created another project - who knows if it was Qora, NEM, if he's on the Ethereum team, who honestly knows ( / don't care really)

Too bad registrations closed all the way back in March and NEM back then had almost no value attached to it.
2394  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [NXT] Why is trading volume so low? on: June 15, 2014, 12:15:35 AM
NXT trading volume is so low shows that the market cap is artificial.

If anyone really tried to sell anything of substantial amount the coin would crash to nothing.

Even Litecoin can trade $10,000,000.00 per day regularly and the market cap barely changes.  This is a sign of a healthy coin.

NXT trades $500,000 on a day and the market cap of the coin goes up or down 10%++.  This is a sign of a sick, sick illiquid market.

Be warned about NXT.  You may get in, but you can't get out!

The country coins had their unclaimed premines removed from Coinmarketcap.  Which is why we no longer see them in top 10 anymore.

Gliss should remove the whale premine from NxT.  Nxt would be less than $3 million capitalization based on its' current volume (it has less volume than Monero which is $2.5 million capitalization or Cinni at $1 million capitalization.

NxT whales act arrogant and pretend they don't know why the community thinks NxT is a scam.  Lol.  Just read what I write, NxT has less volume than Cinni and yet the owner on coinmarketcap lists NxT at $60+ million.

quark is not, i follow it closely, there is lots of activity and the biggest game using it for payments isn't even out yet (2015). Same goes for litecoin and doge, follow them closer instead of talking shit. Would love to know which coins you are holding.

Bitcoin, NXT.

The first two are already on the moon, the third is about to go there.  Grin

Qora removed.

to all ethereum advocators. ethereum is obvious vaporware. get into solid NEW ECONOMY MOVEMENT.

filthy scammers. utopianfuture INTENSE. NEM is best hoax in bitcointalk in history

over 200 btc scammed? rofl what a job

?

CfA is trying to discredit and destroy NEM. He or she will do this anyway they can, on NEM they were posting a few pertinent posts to attempt to create some credibility. But at the same time he or she is creating threads and posts to alienate the wider crypto community against NEM.

there is no way to save nem. nem is an act of betray to enrich a few.

face reality dude

A few 2800 versus your coin (Sim Coin?  Vericoin?  Qora?) which is dominated by a dozen people at most.

ok..  anyone can see through you

Is there any proof of him owning these accounts?

LETS NOT THROW THE STONE. we all have some mistake and dark side.

Yes.  we will hold back until official statement of NEM development team.

anyone can investigate public stakeholder list + utopianfuture accounts. all needed information is in the public.

Thanks for your response. How was this analysis conducted to get this number?

careful analysis of bitcointalk accounts, stakeholder list, public ledger information and nxt asset exchange data.

most shocking is beside utopianfuture, patmast3r, jaguar and gimre also hold several sockpuppet accounts.

That's nice.  When are you going to show links to prove it?

Shouldn't be hard.
2398  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NEM Official Thread {Updates & Discussion} on: June 14, 2014, 11:31:41 PM
I think it's a fair assumption that Come-From-Above's sockpuppet accounts are Ikaros and Ravenna thus far. It's almost cute watching him try and seeing his posts change like some schizophrenic who's forgotten his meds.

Come-From-Above's Russian is not even real Russian, but machine translator Russian.  As well I doubt someone would unintentionally continually misspell "you" as "u", even though he was corrected several times about it.

Apparently the whole UF fiasco made more people aware of NEM but it had the side effect of bringing in a schizophrenic who's trying to crash the price down so he can acquire more stakes.

How much impact does he really have?  Beyond annoying people probably little.  I think NEM's drop to 18K (and rebound to 22K) was beyond CfA's influence.  It was more people dumping based on the very hours of when the incident occurred and independently recovered when the NEM community proved it could move on without needing UtopianFuture (which is ironic because, beyond the initial organization, UF's role was quickly diminishing since he wasn't a programmer or coder.  This was evident to all of us who have been following NEM since January / February).

NEM has the best distribution in any crypto.   NXT had a 1.5 BTC limit and ther was no taint analysis.  According to several people, BCnext took around 80% of NXT for himself and has been profiting ever since.

UF never took any substantial amounts.  NEM's wide distribution is such that nobody can take a huge amount for themselves.  Just to have the power of one NXT whale one would have to create 400 NEM sockpuppets.  That's 400 times of registering accounts, bypassing the anti-spam (and risk them subnet banning all your accounts) and avoiding taint analysis.  It simply didn't happen.  UF's development stake was worth more than any sockpuppets he may have made.
