1401  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Haven't looked at Litecoin for a while noticed its at $4 ? on: September 22, 2014, 11:49:28 AM
I noticed BTC and LTC are losing value but other alternates seem to be holding their value or are going up.

because nobody is looking at them, again, as capital transfer is occurring.

What does this mean?

1403  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [AИN] NODE - 2n Gen. CryptoCurrency build from SCRATCH on NODE.JS - Brand NEW! on: September 22, 2014, 11:25:56 AM
NHz=Next Horizon, clone of next but in my opinion more better than next in distributions,
they pay dividen/interest to the stakeholder and paid daily without doing nothing, just click forging in the wallet.
the amount of dividen or interest depending on our coin in the wallet
sometime i only sold my interest/divident
the price of this coin soar,..
so i think anything that can make investors interested and then there is no harm we do

not confuse NHZ nxt clone, with Node
Node is a good coin, and in the next months the price will go up together with the new developments.

NODE is not a $hitcoin.   Grin  It is NODE generation 3.0.   Cheesy
1404  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [AИN] NODE - 2n Gen. CryptoCurrency build from SCRATCH on NODE.JS - Brand NEW! on: September 22, 2014, 11:25:21 AM
Having a big stake and spending it increase your chances of forging a stake. The odds get bigger and bigger as the time run (more secs online being active) and if you have let's say 3M node and you spend them it counts like extra 3M seconds. After u forge a block ur odds go back to 0.

I think there also should be let's say 1/5 of a second like a start/base for every node in your account but that's just my opinion.

How much has anyone ever forged from a single block?  Low thousands?
1405  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [NXT] Nxt - Official Thread on: September 22, 2014, 11:09:24 AM
So our SuperNet tokens will be transferred to where?  Or is that yet to be determined?

Although I read this is automatically sent to our wallet so I guess that answers it..
1406  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE-ANN][GEMS]| SOCIAL MESSAGING APP OWNED BY THE USERS | Gems public sale | on: September 22, 2014, 11:04:48 AM
Well beating Nxtty to the store isn't really possible as it sounds like they could be days from being on the app store.  I would ignore the bought (fake) likes / comments on Nxtty's facebook.

There's arguably no first mover in digital currencies, anyway.  Even Bitcoin is only used by 500K-2M when the internet back in 1988 had more users.

1407  Other / Meta / Re: China blocks Bitcointalk - what will the results be on the alternate section? on: September 22, 2014, 10:54:30 AM
Isn't the Chinese internet law very bureaucratic or slow?   Maybe the decision to block bitcointalk could had happened back in 2013 but it took them that long to move on it.
1408  Other / Meta / Re: China blocks Bitcointalk - what will the results be on the alternate section? on: September 22, 2014, 10:42:38 AM
All of my friends in China use VPN to access blocked sites, beyond that I don't see much of a negative impact of particularly Chinese users in the altcoin section.

I think you meant on*  Huh

Yeah it's true that people in China have had like a decade or more to figure out VPNs and proxies, so I'm sure they can still access Bitcointalk (maybe with some issues logging in or slower speeds but will still have access)
1409  Other / Meta / Re: China blocks Bitcointalk - what will the results be on the alternate section? on: September 22, 2014, 10:37:06 AM
Litecointalk is not blocked yet, I wonder if it would ever be since LTC is popular in China?

Maybe this is a political thing just like how Google got blocked in China.  Yes Bitcoin is international but many of its' original personalities tend to be American.
1410  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best Alt coin to invest in 2014 on: September 22, 2014, 10:33:11 AM
Monero still and it is at sale right now, courtesy from the FUD of the moment.

Is it FUD or was it because Monero just lacked substance?  Anonymity market is over saturated and the over-the-top shilling for Monero only seemed to had turned Bitcointalk against them.

Is it true or its just a excuse because you don't like Monero and you know no one is forcing you to use but deep down you know its not true.

 Huh

Why do you think I don't like Monero?  I don't own any anonymity coin, period, so no favourites here.
1411  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NEM Official Thread - Crowdsale has begun[Updates & Discussion] on: September 22, 2014, 10:29:13 AM
Hi NEM friends.

As a few of you already know KkotNEM (our favorite NEM cheerleader) has made a song about P-O-I.  Please listen to her video.  If you really like, you can get a copy as a ringtone too.  Smiley

This is so funny and so great Smiley

Now someone just needs to make a looping version and put it on Ournem.   Cheesy

more features should be add in node,..
PoS is a must because it makes investors interested.
if you ever heard NHz,.they pay dividen to the stakeholder 10% annually paid daily
is Dev still active here..?

NHZ who?  Its' capitalization is smaller than NODE and it's been out for months.

PoS might be attractive for the initial buyers but that's a ponzi scheme stuff and it scares away subsequent buyers, imho.  If you look at NxT the main criticism is always: "I can't forge anything unless I spend $millions" or "less than 10 people own 40%+ of NxT"

I think if you want to attract more buyers to NODE then you need to switch to PoA, do promotion give away on VK (and maybe Chinese social media but this could be difficult due to language barrier) and deliver on all the promises in the OP and on the main website.

guys, this coin's dev become a richist after the ipo.

what a crazy crypto world.

and CRAIG will be a shitcoin in one or two months, then the dev disappeared.

Tell this story to Vitalik Buterin. lol

Vitalik Buterin, although he is splitting the IPO monies with the other Ethereum people, probably will be receiving enough to buy a mansion somewhere in Ontario and a Lamborghini.

These Russian people are so good at IPOs.   Cheesy

1415  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NXT, OpenTransaction and Ripple on: September 22, 2014, 09:28:11 AM
Ripple doesn't really offer anything anymore.  When SuperNet comes online NODE will be the payment processor and it's a generation ahead of Ripple (NODE is integrating BTC, USD, EUR, CNY and maybe HRV).

Last 24H Craigs ICO has done 293 BTC ($120,000) in volume and this has been going on for days.

Did the developer really just make half a million or more from this?   Huh  No screenshots or anything, just a wallet and all the viruses you hear about embedded into wallets on Bitcointalk I am skeptical to download it.  No way... it must had been the developer buying into his own IPO or something..

That sounds terrible. Dev should stand out to clear this.

http://www.cryptocoincharts.info/pair/craig/btc/bittrex
http://www.cryptocoincharts.info/markets/show/bittrex

The information is there.  Volume is 293 BTC in the last 24H.  Seems like a ton of money (it is #1 on Bittrex) for what is a very unpublicized coin that isn't really mentioned anywhere on the internet except here and even the activity here is very minimal I think.  I have a gut feeling that the developer must had been buying into his own IPO or some organized pump & dump group is involved.

1419  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is going down - What Altcoins to buy? on: September 22, 2014, 08:59:41 AM
What do you guys think about Sexcoin? Was one of the first coins and price is really low now. Sexcoin or rather XXX coin or Wankcoin?

I think that whole niche is very saturated, just like the pot coins.  It used to be the case that Sexcoin used to be worth a lot but now that isn't the case anymore.

I think the reality is if people want porn then they'll just use $Fiat or Bitcoin.
