2381  Economy / Gambling / Re: Do you prefer lots of promotions over better RTP? on: April 22, 2022, 01:50:24 AM
Consequently, do you think there should be a balance between RTP and promotions? because I know that the impact of a high RTP is undoubtedly a loss of promotion quality, but the casino would be taking more stability, and in part the casino must do everything possible so that it does not fall in profits or in maintenance, but a casino lives off its customers, which makes it a faithful servant for them, so that every customer feels that they are better than at home.
They should be separated I think. One is taking into account the long term for the casino, while the other is trying to increase the customers in the short term for the casino, both have their own disadvantages and advantages but most importantly, having the both of them be balanced and proper does not in any way affect the other. Having an increase in promotions doesn't necessarily damage the RTP, nor does having a fair RTP damage the marketing capabilities of a casino. Sure in the short term there may be an imbalance with the promotions having higher notice, especially for new casinos since they're trying to accept new users, but in the long term? They should be completely separated from each other.
2382  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Copy Trading - experience and tipps on: April 21, 2022, 02:32:57 PM
I've done a bit, and it's literally just copying off of others' trading strategies. I used to try it out with eToro back then when I was just starting out, later on, realized that what I'm doing is rather dumb and would probably make me end up nowhere (just as how me trading myself would get me nowhere, so I went to investing instead). Well if you're happy with at least placing the blame on someone else and not on you since it isn't your strategy, then yea sure have a blast. But otherwise, I wouldn't really recommend it unless it's for experience only.
2383  Economy / Economics / Re: Where should I invest? on: April 21, 2022, 01:04:06 PM
Bitcoin would always be a good investment, at least till the next 5-10 years at least. Just that you have to look at that long of a time frame, and not at weeks or months, so it's really going to be a long trip if you start investing in Bitcoin (and in all honesty, all investments take time to grow). Other coins would be better options in the short term I think, their growth rates are a lot bigger in the short term if you were able to pick off a good coin out of all the thousands of coins out in the market. It's gonna be hard though so be prepared to lose a lot imo.
2384  Economy / Gambling / Re: How do you advertise your casino? on: April 21, 2022, 04:41:09 AM
The most common and normal use for advertising is

- Signature Campaigning ..

- Art events (Like what most successful gambling site continues to do)

- Give Away (to lure gambling hunters)

- Offers good returns to the incoming players.

But you can do everything upon your choice , but try to find Good manager to Help you out.
I'd probably recommend those if and only if the casino has ample funds to fund the startup their doing. If not, well then that severely limits the choices they could actually do. I'd suggest signature campaigns as you said, or buying slots for advertisements that allow gambling ads and the like, try to find them cheaply. One more idea would be asking gambling review sites and the like to review your casino, and then let them post it in their respectivce sites/forums so that the casino name itself would get more traction. This ofc requires the casino to actually be a good one so that the review result would also paint the casino, in the eyes of the users, as a good casino.
2385  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Making e-sports more affordable on: April 21, 2022, 01:27:37 AM
I'm rather confused. Aren't most E-Sports titles free to play anyway? The only E-sport I'd consider not to be f2p would be MMO's since those are heavily reliant on the items/equipment you gain from progressing through the game. IF it's something like the game being an esports scene itself, e.g. players don't have to go anywhere or be part of an organization to take part, then it might be interesting to see, but the player base and latency connections might become an issue down in the long run. It's a nice idea but I don't think it'd be good in the long run, especially since it's competing with titles like CSGO and Dota 2 which are big wigs in the scene.
2386  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: TA or FA which is a better choice for market speculation. on: April 20, 2022, 11:17:04 AM
Afaik the one you'd be using most of the time would be Technical Analysis, while Fundamental Analysis would be used on a case-by-case basis. After all, fundamental analysis requires you to identify which factor or variable would inevitably make a big impact on the market, so it isn't something you'd always use but rather only when it's applicable. Still, it isn't wrong or bad to use both of them imo, I myself have mostly used FA's when I first started then started bringing TA's to compare with what I have.
2387  Economy / Gambling / Re: Question for regular casino players. Will you use Lightning if available? on: April 19, 2022, 03:11:38 PM
From my POV as a user, well, I'd use it. Lightning implementation should change the fees to cheaper ones afaik, so ofc I'd use it if it was much cheaper than the original ones I'd use. But well, if not, I wouldn't necessarily shy away from it, but it wouldn't be my priority in being used since there'd be cheaper alternatives (in case casinos accept multiple cryptos, which is the case most of the time). But if casinos would still stay with the same fees EVEN with the lightning network implemented, then hard pass. They're basically saying you still need to pay more even if our system now costs less.
2388  Economy / Gambling / Re: How do you advertise your casino? on: April 19, 2022, 12:05:00 PM
Hello guys, I'm new here  Grin

I will launch my first casino in a few months and I was curious how do you advertise it? How much bankroll you had when you opened your first casino? Have you learned from your mistakes and if yes, what mistakes cost you a lot of money?
I am pretty sure that your team is supposed to have an advertising team and that they're supposed to do their own research and study based on publicly available information and not based on opinions of players themselves, cause you know, well, it'd be kinda dumb. If you're working alone or on a small team, I'd suggest checking up on the site first for a week whether everything is working properly or not, and then proceed with a simple share of the site on various forums and review sites. Cheapest and safest way imo, no need to hire shitposters to do advertising.
2389  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why the price of Bitcoin still in such a state? on: April 19, 2022, 02:03:56 AM
But my idea is wrong.
Pretty sure you already have the answer to your question. Plus I think your time frame is a bit too small? Bitcoin didn't reach its current status in just a few months, look at it in the big picture instead of a small one and you'd honestly be able to see that 2-3 months is nothing. It's going downhill because of the small perspective you have, so honestly just keep calm and wait, we're going pretty steady atm which is a lot better than dropping down like a few months ago, and that would mean that the market is stabilizing. Now as to when it will pump no one really knows, but it might be better to wait in a time frame of 1-2 years instead of months.
2390  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is the society matured enough to handle privacy? on: April 18, 2022, 01:35:25 PM
Nothing new with Crypto being used for illegal means. ANYTHING can be used for illegal means, not just crypto. And I'm pretty sure no one's really able to answer you about society wanting it or not, the sample's just too big, and honestly, why does it even matter? It's not like there's a rule that says they have to use crypto and/or fiat, they can just choose one and live with it. Compromise with what they really want so to speak. Abuse of privacy? Since when did wanting privacy become an abuse? What's abuse is hiding under the guise of automating stuff to completely control and obtain the privacy of a person (and vice versa) imo.
2391  Economy / Gambling / Re: Which would be better ? on: April 18, 2022, 06:41:13 AM
Why I said it is easier to win football match betting than casino games is the fact that football analysis is easy to be done and the outcome is predictable and easier than gambling games.
indeed casino games basically prioritize luck, but you can't be wrong either, that sports betting like football also requires luck.  but for newbies i prefer to just focus on sports betting because we can have good self-control instead of playing casino.  Many newbie casino players end up with a lot of debt because they don't have self-control but have tried casino gambling.
Football requires both luck and skill analysis. Skill analysis is basically dependent on the past data of the user derived from the matches they've done, and can't exactly take into account their current state, specifically mental, emotional, and the like. Now that's where luck comes up. If lucky, then they'd be in their best state and play to the best of their ability, but if unlucky, well, no amount of analysis could make that climb up. Same with some games in casinos such as Blackjack or Poker, they're more on the mental side of things which also involves (majority of it) luck, but even with a bad hand if you play with your opponents, well, it'd be pretty easy to win.
2392  Economy / Speculation / Re: No FUDs will win the market on: April 16, 2022, 05:08:30 PM
I'm sure FUDs spreaders who have been active since the bitcoin price skyrocketed to $1000 in 2013 until now they are frustrated, crypto has a strong community, the presence of new projects keeps the market moving positively so the FUDs spread by haters have no effect.
But FUDsters are mostly people who want to take profit in the short term movements that the market does due to the said FUD imo. Even people who hated Bitcoin in the past probably tried to profit off of it at some point since, well, you can't exactly deny that the growth of Bitcoin is real, and that it could've made easy profits for most people if they invested early on. Ofc, some FUD may be true, but there isn't fire without any smoke, most people who spread FUD are also people who was affected by the original source of the FUD.
2393  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Getting more skills in trading on: April 16, 2022, 04:49:29 PM
If people could find a way to actually make a profit based on what they read, they would have read every day for 16 hours and trade for just 1 hour and make a profit. If people could train to be a great trader by simply trading a lot they would have traded 16 hours a day with tiny amounts and then trade for real for one hour. You are right that you need to do it with the right balance. I still read even the simplest things, and I mean seriously simple, like there is absolutely nothing I could learn from that article but I still do read it, with the hopes that maybe one sentence would be helpful. But I do keep on trading while at it, and when I make a loss, I check why and I check my readings to see what kind of solutions I could find for it. Thats how you could become a better and better trader.
Well at the very least, it's a good start. Most people start learning from trying to find a problem, then trying to solve that, and tbf, reading a completely foreign topic just outright speaks the word "problems" out of every word in it. I myself have experienced it whenever I try to learn new concepts or ideas when creating programs. I like to breakdown problems from the small ones then build it up to the big problems by using the small answers I got, which is really effective imo in trying to learn slowly but surely.
2394  Economy / Economics / Re: Elon Musk makes offer to buy Twitter on: April 16, 2022, 04:38:29 PM
Ehh, its Musk, he's probably off trying to make ways to profit off of all the tweets he's done that's been hyped up for some reason. Either way from the amount of traction the tweet he made had, I'm pretty sure he's already won even if he isn't able to do what he tweeted no? But I don't doubt he's able to actually pull of what he said, It is Musk, he's probably going to find a way to do it.

If Elon Musk starts to control Twitter, would it make any major impact on cryptocurrency? I dont think we would see big price increases in crypto. Why would even this make an impact? Twitter tips takes tiny part in crypto turnover. Twitter used to be quite negative towards crypto, but not it is more or less ok with crypto. If anyone expect same Bitcoin price increase, as it was after Musk announced Tesla would allow Bitcoin to be used as a payment for cars, I would disappoint them.
I don't think so? I mean users would still use Twitter, not Musk himself. It's not like non-crypto users or crypto haters would leave all because Musk would own Twitter, that'd be kind of dumb. I also don't think Musk would do something like banning crypto-hate stuff and the like.
2395  Economy / Speculation / Re: A Little Surprised! on: April 16, 2022, 04:28:57 PM
What are those factors that keeps it under 50k? I know a few that could get it high, like if sanctions continues then maybe Russia could start using bitcoin in a governmental level that could increase the price?

I am not saying this will happen, but nobody in the world could guarantee it not happening neither. Or I could say that there could be a whale pump, based on long futures investors with high leverage, in order to make even more? Or I could say Elon could tweet. None of these needs to happen, there could be a sudden increase out of nowhere as well, doesn't even need a reason. It could also not go up as well, I agree, but I doubt there is a guarantee of being under or over 50k, it's unknown.
Idk, natural market movement?  I mean, even if we all received "positive" news of stuff related to Bitcoin, I hardly doubt it'd always go up. Especially since the past period has been from a recovery from the almost dip to $30k or so levels, so I reckon this kind of adjustment is quite understandable right now. Maybe wait till the end of the month, we may see some more positive growth if investors don't get FUD due to the market balancing itself right now. It honestly doesn't look that bad even tbf, I'd just wait for it to go up in the next few weeks or months maybe and take my time.
2396  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: stake.com- Does not have gambling responsibility on: April 16, 2022, 03:33:11 PM

I believe that any gambling sites must have a precautionary measures atleast to remind a gambler if they have been engaged in gambling activities frequently other than it's usual activities. I mean its an advantage for a gambling site to have a frequent customer enjoying their games however even if it's a gamblers responsibility to limit himself/herself I think even a simple reminder from gambling site will help to give awareness to the gamblers.
Maybe a warning about exceeding a certain amount they set beforehand, but really it's mostly empty warnings. I mean if a gambler could follow said warnings, then they could originally make their own rules to follow so really, it's not that effective. An automatic lockdown might work though but that would probably be just received with complaints.
2397  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Fiat Will Always Be The Norm on: April 16, 2022, 01:34:56 PM
Well I wouldn't deny that Fiat would stay even with the development of crypto, heck even if the majority of the merchants and services accepted crypto, I'd doubt Fiat would actually die, it's just that convenient for most people. Also inflation is part of the system afaik, just that the government isn't exactly doing the best when it comes to handling it.

But that doesn't exactly mean crypto couldn't be part of the mainstream no?
2398  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Davis vs Romero: May 28 on: April 16, 2022, 12:15:46 PM
Bookies are saying that there's no match here even, just a beatdown. Though ofc, I'd like to believe the opposite, after all, those kinds of matches are the best ones to watch no matter what.

I say that but I'm rooting for Tank to shutup Romero. I can see a possibility of an upset, but hey, I just want to see Romero getting a beatdown after all that talk of his.
2399  Other / Off-topic / Re: Big Project, looking for an investor on: April 16, 2022, 10:17:34 AM
You might have better chances looking for investors after the site is finished, or at least by presenting old projects you've done and/or sold, as noted by the others in their comments.

Also, Lebanese then worldwide, then Lebanese specifically again. Not to mention that its a face to face transaction, isn't that like, close, if not at all KYC already? Not to mention that it's a really bad implementation. I honestly don't even see the need for p2p if it's like this, just stick to the crypto deposits.
2400  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I smell inside job on: April 16, 2022, 05:04:23 AM
More like an overhyped project instead? Honestly the whales are just playing games with small time investors right now imo, creating hype news about the coin while temporarily forcing its price to increase, then when something that could help the hype reach it's peak, they sell and make a profit out of it.

Traders can also take advantage of it, just that you're only following the wave and not exactly starting it, so you have to know when it falls down or not. It's the usual crypto stuff tbh.
