2381  Economy / Gambling / Re: Have you played at 8Bet.io? Please share experience on: January 17, 2022, 02:21:11 PM
It's the first time I heard of this. This is something that I would have to do some research about, and thankfully for this one, it's helpful to know that there are people who had successes towards what the site is. It's something that I think everyone can benefit from if they are interested in playing in different casinos. It's going to be a choice between the player how much he will risk.
2382  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do u think about gambling? on: January 15, 2022, 03:08:07 PM
I practice believing that I'm playing only for fun, but at the back of my mind, I always want to win and play for profit because who even wants to lose, right? But as a matter of fact, it's always going to be hard to practice yourself if you are greedy or maintain your capital if you were to invest a lot. It's always going to be a balance between wanting to win and controlling yourself.
2383  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Brazilian mayor to reportedly invest 1% of city funds in Bitcoin on: January 15, 2022, 01:53:31 PM
This little thing is massive for the cryptocurrency community. It just shows that being part of the economy is already a good thing to do, especially for those who have been part of this for a long time. Imagine being able to continuously invest in crypto for the past few years and finally have some significant funds for it, and you'll be thankful.

I hope many more people see the possibility of crypto, its importance for everyone, and its message.
2384  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is there any website without a dispute here? on: January 14, 2022, 01:06:43 PM
There is definitely no chance to have a site to have no accusations or any kind of misdemeanor type of complains because of the different personalities of people. It's always going to be with madness and anger when it comes to gambling if you lost. There are people who are probably into getting accusations done so that they could benefit even if it's going to tarnish the sites name. As long as you are playing in the right websites, I think you have nothing to worry about. If there are more good reviews than bad and there are loyal customers that have lasted years. That's definitely one of the reasons that it could be a good website.

There's nothing to be any agreement with everyone as long as there are people. Opposing views create disputes and forms chaos.
2385  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 44 ETH LOST ON WTF?? on: January 14, 2022, 09:30:02 AM
He must have a lot of coins for him to spend that kind of amount money on WTF. That's just absurd for someone average so for sure it's either they just have a lot of money and then deciding to go all in towards the coin. You could try to go with it but it's going to be expensive, based on what the other members have said so it's really up to you if you have extra money for it.
2386  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Fear and Greed index. Don't time the market! on: January 12, 2022, 03:40:49 AM
I like the summarized type of chart where the index is seen for all time. I think the best way to get that in your head is to see the past happenings and correlate if it will be the same sentiment. So if you are thinking about buying Bitcoin, and then you see that people are fearful of it, then it's a great time to buy. I'm not sure if this would be a great indication, but you can still be profitable if you do it correctly.
2387  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Unexpected Pi Network news on: January 11, 2022, 02:44:52 PM
I don't think anyone from the forum is expecting this coin to be listed in Binance but if ever, then a lot of people would be saying "I told you so". Either way, there would always be two sides on opinion and I won't believe anything or expect this because I know they are just "hyping" themselves and making money out of the ads in their app. Obviously, they are mining information for the highest bidder or something alike.
2388  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Pros and Cons of Gambling on: January 11, 2022, 08:58:11 AM
This is a choice by the person playing. If you know that you are being reckless with your action, I think you should accept that it is a part of you, and you need to do something about it. You can't keep doing it repeatedly without understanding the whole picture of what's happening to you. No matter what happens, even if you laid out all the pros and cons of gambling, it's still up to the person to understand the risk and results that may happen. I think it's always a matter of willpower to do what is necessary.

Self-control is key to gambling and being consistent.
2389  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Some Legit Tips for Newbs that will help you Win on: January 11, 2022, 06:33:29 AM
I thought that this was something about competition or something. Is it winning in life moments thing? Is that what you mean? Lol.

Anyway, I think your advice is generalized mainly because it's an outline of what you may find interesting if you are getting started. I don't think numbers #4 and #7 will be helpful for you because having to rely on your brain for a phrase would be challenging unless you are like Jim Kwik, a memory master or someone alike. Unless you can memorize and create a story/mnemonic for remembering it, it's going to be a challenge for an average person.

For #7, it's going to be a factor in which you would only do it yourself, and you will get to a time when delegating something is better than doing it all by yourself.

2391  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trade-in between the lines on: January 11, 2022, 02:03:11 AM
Follow your instincts but you need to do your own homework also before involving yourself to any alt project. Because without prior knowledge, it is like you are putting yourself blindly in trading.
How are that instincts? Maybe it's how you would train your subconscious self towards the right learnings to make your instincts better. Is that what you mean? I think when you are learning it will come along once you become better at it.

You may have rules set but it may change in the actual trading scenario. So just adjust according to what is happening in the market. Don't easily panic when you hear some news, verify if it's valid. Because most of the time those are baseless statements.
I think in this day and age, it's important to listen to the news because the majority of the people would be looking forward towards those things and they act on emotion because that's how humans are. I think it's smart if you know how to handle those news things and be prepared to act once you are there.
2392  Economy / Exchanges / Re: What the fuck does binance want? on: January 10, 2022, 10:08:39 AM
Even with Mobile application it is possible to get error while uploading/verification of KYC. Within one or two attempts you'll get to know the exact requirement. In my case, KYC got unverified just because of the pic mentioning the date isn't clear. Initially I wrote with pen, later used a marker and then took a snap of me having the placard with date. Within a short time everything got verified.
That's why I did recommend it to the OP. He didn't mention anything about using a mobile application for his KYC. I do remember the times that I just needed to adjust some of my verification documents with what is notified on the app and it's going to be easy after that. So I agree with you with all the possible rectifications to be done with your application.
2393  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trade-in between the lines on: January 10, 2022, 08:38:41 AM
That's already a given, knowing that every time we take a risk, we won't see the part where we would be successful, whether it's a long position or a short one. It's still best to think outside the box, follow the trail, and risk what you can afford to lose. The critical component, I believe, in becoming the best outcome for trading is the consistency to trade what you can and make sure to follow the rules that you have set.
2394  Economy / Exchanges / Re: What the fuck does binance want? on: January 10, 2022, 03:39:24 AM
Are you using their application on your smartphone? Usually, that's the easiest way to get verified because of the verification thing you need to undergo if you want to have the higher-tiered accounts.

I remember that you have to have your face in the oblong-shaped thing, and you need to move around your head—something like that. Please take photos of your IDs on the app itself, not taken with the camera app on your phone. I think after that it should be done.
2395  Economy / Economics / Re: Euro zone inflation hit a new record high of 5% in December on: January 10, 2022, 03:32:42 AM
This must be an effect of global warming as a whole. Imagine having the energy prices rising possibly because of the lack of resources now, and the oil industry is the leader in the energy sector now depleting. To save themselves, they want more money so that when it finally becomes zero, they would still be rich AF. The bank and the economy have seen the highest rise in prices because of this pandemic and the surprises of what the world is becoming into.
2396  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it always safe to connect your (metamask) wallet? on: January 10, 2022, 02:29:09 AM
The step you had where you have a hardware wallet is already the right one. You can never have enough safety and security when it comes to your coins. When connecting apps with your wallet, you won't have to worry about your private key being exported because that won't happen unless you do it.

I think it's pretty typical for a pretty new user to have that kind of fear of losing money with hacks. That's why I said you already made a nice move on getting a hardware wallet. Most of the people I know that were hacked didn't use it and installed different types of malware onto their phones etc.
2397  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is SLP really a scam coin? on: January 07, 2022, 07:39:29 AM
It's never and will never be because of the team behind it. What it lacks is the burning mechanic. With the current implementations and usage of SLP, many players now are farming SLP like crazy because they can play and earn at the same time. It's just that there is too much supply which causes the dump to happen, and I hope that they will find a way to make another way to earn from it that will make the future of SLP better for everyone.

I'm not sure why it's being called a scam just because of its price going down. It was like that before, and the idea itself is already excellent that you can play to earn. They are pioneers in that, and they are not being appreciated.
2398  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: investing in meme coins on: January 06, 2022, 06:53:27 AM
It's probably because of the possible rug pull that developers can do once they have enough investors involved. Imagine the contemporary rug pulled by a familiar name, Squid Game coin/token, and the rug has been pulled, and a lot of people have lost their savings in the hopes of becoming comfortable with their lives. They are hoping for that possible jackpot but hard to occur and happen.

The risk is there, so you should be careful when investing in those types of things.
2399  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin ETF Rally Proved Short-Lived, and $100K Dreams Faded on: January 06, 2022, 06:19:14 AM
Probably, many people now need money somehow. That's why they are cashing out their holdings and possibly dumping them. We all know this process, and we never expected it to happen this fast, but the important thing is that it happened; rising to $69k is a feat by itself. $100K might not happen right away, but the important thing is that we still believe and continue to accumulate. I think BTC is the best coin to HODL out of anything else.
2400  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Internet is down on Kazahstan, Bitcoin Hashrate drooped, Price affected? on: January 06, 2022, 04:09:10 AM
I don't think there's a direct correlation between the drop in hash rate with BTC and its price. Maybe the negativity with the news on it affected the people speculating before (with the cost of BTC increasing) and now decreasing and are just taking profit or cutting losses that they may have. Or maybe someone just dumped their bags because they need them so much, possibly with the new year or something.

What other parameters can we check to see if the two variables are connected?
