I have been trading for a while now and have hit/miss success with it so I'm interested in which indicators you use the most? For me, right now I use EMA 50, Alligator and MACD/RSI(depends), and I try to make my decisions based on them and on my experience.
i dont really use emas because they lag alot i use pure price action ( P.A), but the only indicator i use is the ART BANDS which this is for my STOP LOSS and TDI which is for confirmation, what i do is top down analysis from the daily timeframe then drop to 4 hour timeframe for P.O.I ( point of interest) then use the 15 minutes timeframe for entry. |

To me i see BITCOINTALK forum as a kind of university (LECTURE HALL) because there is no kind of information you wont find here probably learn things from good quality POST. on the other hand we are all here to learn something that is going to take us along way in the crypto space not excluding other financial services.

You know how the world changes, some threads needs to be left alone and to create another one to have more valid discussion. But if you know what you are doing is good and necessary, you can bring back old thread to live.

Since strategy are always changing in trading, what is the relevance of experience? Who would you trust the most for trading tips,
An old trader who has had better days and mostly still relevant because they have a strong reputation for the fact that he has been trading for a while, or would you trust a new trader who is hot in the market and fresh with new strategies?
Just as you said STRATEGY ARE ALWAYS CHANGING, in my case its better to stick with the oldies'  , same way they were hot in the market is the same way the new traders will become old and same goes to the strategy. but with all of this no strategy is BEST in the market it just need time and patience to master it and stick with it, even with the ALWAYS CHANGING STRATEGIES the market is still doing its craze thing. |

What is your honest review of the Demo account? Do you think that should spend so much time trading on a demo account? I believe that in demo trading, there are no real consequences for losing "money". If you notice, the pain is different than the one felt when you actually experience a loss on a live account. Demo trading simply helps the newbie get acquainted with the trading platform, and it should only be for a few weeks. Compared to live trading, demo trading lacks the ability to mental and emotional resilience. For me, the real trading education starts where demo trading ends. I really was having this question in mind to ask if it will advisable for somebody who want to start up trying doing online investment and chooses trade as perfect for him or her. trading is not an investment but a little kind of it tho, because your time spent on trying to make money trading is you investing your whole mindset over it. investment doesn't have to do with much of your time, just your research is ok, in the side of trading u have to analyse the market for you not to trade in the opposite direction of the market if not you are doomed. trading has a lot hommie if you can face it then you can go for it. |

If you have been full-time into trading for one to three years, what has been the greatest sacrifice you've made to become a successful trader? And did it pay off?
Someone I know who a seven-figure trader is now made the sacrifice of moving into a shared apartment with a friend just to save money. Another person, who had previously started a logistics company, sold off his trucks and used the money for trading. Another person had to pay to be mentored. He did this because the mentor said people do not appreciate free things, and if he were not making the sacrifice of paying out of pocket, he probably would not be serious and would take it for granted. These people cited in here went on to become successful traders. It paid off.
the most significant sacrifice i have made in trading is using REAL funds to trade (practice) without proper risk management, or will i say no mentor to guide me on anything, its my 6 years now on this forum and the trading aspect and along the line have learnt alot. so in essence of what am saying learning things on your own without a guardian (mentor) and with your real capital is the hardest sacrifice and you will end up blowing the account. but trust me it has help me a long way because i pick out all those mistakes have been making in the past to make it right or probably trade the right way. |

Having a personal strategy to me isn't just the key but the ability to stick to it, is. I have been trading synthetic indices for over 6months and I feel it is better to have a working personal strategy and keeping to it, even at the days and times of loss.
I'm seeking to know if having a personal trading strategy has been able to enhance your trading profitablity and if you really keep to a particular strategy that worked for you even when it seems it's failing you later on and for how long do you stick to this strategy?
well in the field of this whole trading, when i look at youtube what i see is same strategy many educational content creators kep making WHY  , so the best part to me is having your ow strategy and stick to it. Another thing i noticed may educational content creators traders will just want you to trade like them, which is not supposed to be so in my opinion. so HAVING A STRATEGY OF YOUR OWN and sticking to it is a good start. have been working on my self and my own strategy lately hoping to see good results as time goes by. |

I have heard about Bitcoin back in 2017 but never got to learn regarding about it. I always thought that crypto was a fluke and that it would definitely not be a type of transaction until pandemic happens. So, as the title would suggest, is it too late to start investing on crypto? The most favourable investment is bitcoin, and I call it the most favourable is because it gives choice of what you want to invest, time, period, management and operations. I would love to take this opportunity to the next level, I don't investing any cash entering my hand even if bitcoin is going down or up, I still prefer it to others. I basically dont do just bitcoin investment, am a random type of investor, but what i invest on now is forex market, i am just into trading the forex market more, it's probably my 6 years now i got to know bitcoin and other crypto asset. i start forex last year tho, but the WHOLE PICTURE AS A TRADER STARTED 2017. |
