241  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will stablecoins be the future of cryptocurrency? on: May 21, 2020, 06:16:55 AM
with more and more business getting onboard I would say it is in the future. it cant be used for investing and people who wants to invest still find safe haven in other crypto. it will probably be used for digital transactions in the near future but there is something lacking thats keeping that from happening.
242  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Just my thought about new projects that list on binance on: May 21, 2020, 06:04:46 AM
It is an extremely large exchange but the success of project also depend on other things and not just listing on binance. It can help get a big boost if whats being listed is also improving things in the background but simply listing there will not help and in some cases it can be harmful. I think thats why its important to start with small exchange and move your way up.
243  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 1 JAN 2021 BTC WILL HIT 100K$ on: May 20, 2020, 07:13:09 AM
It is indeed difficult according to some experts but during monetary crisis this isn't hard to imagine why it can reach 100k or close to it by next year or may be before? We know that price was volatile and it started rallying and everyone started paying attention even those who were naysayers. This is a prediction and should be looked at with skepticism but aiming high is always good.
244  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to start accept cryptocurrency on your site on: May 20, 2020, 06:31:05 AM
I think one issue is that many businesses dont have good image or they find the process more complicated. It is not complicated at all if they decide to implement but many of them don't even go that far to learn about the process and how it can help their business. Those who have implemented it have profited from it and understand its importance but that doesn't include every business and more education is needed.
245  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is holding blockchain/crypto technology back? on: May 20, 2020, 06:24:17 AM
I think things could've been gone better if people acted more responsibly. Its okay though and I think blockchain is growing at decent rate. There are still people who try to take advantage of it all and that can halt the growth but only in short term. Its evolving at much faster rate compare to few years ago.
246  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I need your help guys! on: May 19, 2020, 06:13:46 AM
I scanned through it for a moment and realized that it didn't really look very professional. You should pay attention to these things and look at white paper and who is behind it. Speaking from past experience any project website that has too many errors isn't something you should invest in. It won't hurt to do a decent research before investing.
247  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: App with a map of nearby people willing to trade bitcoin? on: May 19, 2020, 05:53:22 AM
I think that wouldn't be great although may sites already track your location. I don't want to promote any business here but quick search will bring you different results and some of those websites have an option to meet at agreed location.
248  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: EtherDelta is dead, long live the ForkDelta on: May 19, 2020, 05:49:17 AM
Volume was my biggest issue with those sites when I used to use them but that has changed. There are too many exchanges that have come out since the inception of said exchanges, and that resulted in them losing business to competitors.
249  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk Reveals How much Bitcoins he Hold on: May 18, 2020, 05:50:44 AM
It is quite difficult to believe that Emusk holds only small amount of bitcoin. I am not sure why would he even mention anything about his holding if he doesn't hold much. He either owns more than what he mentioned or he doesn't hold anything. Former is more believable.
250  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Visa applied for Digital Dollar Patent in US on: May 18, 2020, 05:45:56 AM
Does it say that they want to convert fiat into crypto? I am not sure if that's their intention. May be they are trying to stay ahead in the game? They have been in the business for so long so it's hardly a matter of time before they approved on this.

252  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Spike in Average Transaction Fee on: July 31, 2019, 01:14:46 PM
It's halving on August 6th that could be the real cause of raised fee. You should probably wait a little after halving if you prefer lower transaction fee. It should get low in about nine days or two days before that.
253  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: CRYPTOPIA SHUTTING DOWN: Investor losses on: July 31, 2019, 01:10:19 PM
this kind of sucks and they had reopen for a bit but then they decided to go this route. not sure if it will ever reopen but I hope it will for the sake of investors. not really sure what's going on their bank side but it won't hurt if they keep people updated rather than leaving them hanging.
254  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: One of the Biggest Universities in Western Australia Launches Cryptocurrency on: July 30, 2019, 12:34:53 PM
good. I feel educating kids about cryptocurrency in university and college is the first step for the better future for blockchain and cryptocurrency. There are many who can't separate the two and this should fill that gap.
255  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How does a perfect Bounty Campaign looks like? on: July 30, 2019, 12:30:28 PM
It depends on few things like who is managing the campaign, their history, whitepaper, team and project development. It is also important that you don't have to wait too long after campaign is finished but you won't have to if you sign up for the right one.
256  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I don't know Bitcoin is, I just know It is taking away the lives of family on: July 29, 2019, 01:33:26 PM
sad if true. You can't blame the bitcoin for what your brother did to you. You have to learn from it and move on but blaming bitcoin won't do anything, it's just a code and blockchain. It can be used in any way you like and if people are using it to gamble among other things then it is their choice. hope u feel good if true.
257  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WARNING! this is very misleading on: July 29, 2019, 01:19:33 PM
You should never take bar into consideration when investing your hard earned money. Contract is what you need and verify it for yourself before making any investment. There are shady ones but you can tell if you put enough time into researching what you're investing in. nothing is 100% guaranteed and nothing is 100% certain but you can sort out what is good and what is not worth checking out.
258  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: High fees on some exchange! on: July 26, 2019, 12:59:11 PM
I hate hitbtc for some reason, aside from higher fees, they have minimum amount of token to be traded, unlike other exchangers, it depends on us on how much we be able to trade, i feel safe trading in binance nowadays compared to the hitbtc, which i dont like. Among all the exchangers, okex, binance, latoken were great for me.

I'm not a big fan of hitbtc either. There are dex you can try if you care about fees or go with exchanges that just started, they generally have low fees in the begining which can change overtime so you have to do your digging and find whichever offers you best outcome.
259  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Adoption Over Bull Run on: July 26, 2019, 12:55:19 PM
they're interconnected and both of them need be taken into consideration. bull run in a way attracts people to crypto space which can escalate adoption in a way. but when you're talking about adoption, you have to consider different people and their needs when speaking of adoption/bullrun. One can help other in many ways but one without the other can have implications that can slow it down.
260  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is $25 XLM worth your privacy (identify). on: July 25, 2019, 03:33:16 PM
Personally No but at the same you would be surprised what would people do for $25 let alone giving out their private information to centralized organization. It makes it bad for everyone and it allows said organizations to think that they can get away with anything which they can as long as there are people who will willingly sell their private information for little gains.
