242  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Charlie Shrem is a scammer, watch out on: October 09, 2014, 11:01:00 PM
Hey Bracek,

Please email me your Bitcoin address and I will take care of this. Ive never scammed anyone and dont intend to now.

You have my phone number, email, address and everything. I wish you would contact me that way instead of making "charlie shrem is a scammer thread"
@Bracek - Since you are all about being so public about things, why don't you say publicly why you did not pick up the phone and give him a call? There are many other ways to get ahold of someone other then PMing then on here and opening a scam accusation. He has said many times that you have his contact information but all your response is that you want "your" money. IMO you are being unprofessional and greedy

Thanks for defending me  Grin

He is not being unprofessional and greedy, he just got scared since I did not respond to his 2 PM's within a few days. I dont blame him

Yes, he could have emailed me and he has my physical address (with a little googling my phone number as well). I don't approve of his methods at all, but thats behind us now.

The issue is being resolved anyways. All parties are cool and I've already sent him 10 BTC in good faith until its all resolved.

Not sure why people have it out for you , but you've done a lot of good for the Bitcoin community.

247  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] FIRST Feature-length Documentary on Bitcoin, 100% BITCOIN FUNDED! on: October 07, 2014, 03:31:21 AM
I suppose its time to list them up on http://bitcoinbountyhunter.com/  ?  Shocked

Isn't this sad. You can't trust anybody on this forum.

It probably is the #1 problem Bitcoin has. If there was ever a way to include POS ( Proof of Scammer ) we would all be zillionaires.

249  Economy / Speculation / Re: Fake Chinese Bitcoins Crash Bitcoin Market on: October 05, 2014, 09:10:17 PM
How can be bitcoins fake? They are not USD and cant be just printed in high numbers.

In theory they could be selling coins to people that do not exist. Hence the problem with centralized exchanges. When it comes time to withdraw those fake coins, good luck. They do not exist….

Price discovery on an electronic online exchange.. in china, could be NOT REAL.. Even if bitcoincharts.com is reporting trades…

I can neither confirm nor deny what is happening, but there is something to be said about unregulated exchanges cooking' the books.

I suppose you do this with Fiat correct?
250  Economy / Speculation / Re: Fake Chinese Bitcoins Crash Bitcoin Market on: October 05, 2014, 08:51:03 PM
why no one said that fake bitcoins caused the rise to up 1000 level?

Only when prices drop it is fake and manipulation. When it goes up, it is just the natural stuff

Good point was wondering the same thing.

252  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin that will one day replaces bitcoin on: October 05, 2014, 03:03:55 AM
There is no replacement for Bitcoin. What this is better services on top of the Bitcoin protocol.
253  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin craze dying down? on: October 05, 2014, 02:49:53 AM
I dont know how is going adoption, but some people think it is dying, just because there are no headlines in news about bitcoin. But those people will be waken up in few years, and will regret, that they were just waiting on sidelines, for news people to tell them what is going on in real world.

User adoption is moving slowly but it's not dying. We need an idea for something everyone will want but can only be purchased with Bitcoin. Like the next big fad. POGs or Beanie Babies but for Bitcoin. Once people have learned how easy it is to use Bitcoin with Circle many of them will use it again.

Some alt-coin shake-out has to happen . So much dead money in alt-coins it could drag some of BTC down.
254  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why not to sell your bitcoins yet on: October 05, 2014, 02:48:01 AM
In my eyes btc is worth more than 1000$ Im going to hodl for life. If you cant afford to hodl or need to sell btc to survive your in the wrong industry then crypto currency is not for you. Its like stock exchange Wink

Clearly , in the long term its way more valuable then $1,000 ;-)  5 ,10 years we are talking about $50,000 - $100,000 ea. coin.

Well, I dont think bitcoin would rise to 50,000 or so.. Probably the maximum it could goes is 2,000 in five to ten years time. Well, that is my guess.

There is so much to be built on Bitcoin and it will take Bitcoin to use those services thus raising the value to new levels. Just my humble opinion.

256  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why the price is keep going down? on: October 05, 2014, 02:35:44 AM
I don't get it why btc is going down.
This is just a temporary correction to shake out weak holders.

There is no rhyme or reason tbh.
257  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why not to sell your bitcoins yet on: October 05, 2014, 02:29:37 AM
If you think about it nothing has changed fundamentally with Bitcoin. Just human pyschie right now.

I still see BTC above $1,000 in February.
258  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Low Does Bitcoin's Price Need Get to Make People Stop Believing? on: October 04, 2014, 07:22:00 PM
Keep in mind it is not about how much money you should be making, it should be look at the potential of this technology.

If you think the latter you shouldn't be in Bitcoin IMHO.

edit: also, I blame the price drop on Ebola. My dark horse theory  Grin
