241  Economy / Economics / Re: Ever dreamt of turning your passion into profit? on: May 17, 2024, 02:18:33 PM
One of my hobbies is playing online games even though I'm not a streamer i used my knowledge in esports betting, I know what are the possible odds and chances of winnings of the team for their upcoming matches, I've been doing this since 2016 I know this still considered as a gamble but most of my games still in a good win rate ratio IMO. Also having a cockfight is one of the known leisure time in my country reason why I bought some just to make a breed of it, people really spent a lot of money just to have a good condition rooster and hens for their breed activity and of course in a derby, this activity gives us a meal for our every day needs.

244  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto as job salary - Yay or Nay? on: May 16, 2024, 01:36:27 PM
I will settle still with the fiat currency, market of crypto is volatile imagine you have a salary of per week salary of $100 and the market dumps immediately before you make a withdrawal and now you only have 70$ instead you have still other stuffs that you can buy on that loss the market burn it down, even in the institutions they are supporting the use of the fiat currency as a payment because its part of their law and easier to process related on the banks. If you will just have an extra with your salary do invest in crypto so you don't get worried about the market volatility because its just an extra money.

248  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Question about futures on: May 16, 2024, 01:26:44 PM
~~
Since we have the higher percentage chance for the to move upwards because of the increasing demand,  sure you will earn more money longing with 3x leverage and your risk level is low with 3x leverage on Bitcoin with €100 , but to me the best way to go about this, is trading Bitcoin to get more BTC , this way your are holding Bitcoin and profit will be in BTC, that is you not just only gain from your €100 worth of Bitcoin and have it increased but also your profit increases as the value of BTC increase.

If OP has time and active with the market can go to the futures with just low leverage but again there's a fee on it in too much holding your position of course, but if OP doesn't have any time to watch all day the market like we are seeing right now the market is going into a bull run movement he can make a hold until the next all-time high. Futures still take a basic understanding and knowledge to make a trade with the help of technical indicators and technical analysis as a guide for your position. Always use the basic TP/SL as your security to yourself to prevent burn your asset.
249  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Before Trading Bitcoin you should... on: May 16, 2024, 01:13:26 PM

Do not quit your job if you have one until you have become very profitable in bitcoin trading. The market can become very unpredictable and you can lose funds, so for you not to go bankrupt you should be very profitable before you quit you job or any other source of income you have.

Do not forget that you should always risk what you can afford to lose.

Do crypto as your sideline and not as a fulltime if you don't have a full commitment, we know there's a lot of job right there offering crypto or the web3 itself but again if you are just on this and just inspired with the other people who enjoy in learn and earning here its a different story if you have a stable job, at least get a lot of source of income the market is volatile so you don't possible this day you earned a lot but after the top you will lose most of your money. Always make a backup don't settle with just one job, its hard to find a job now and at least cater your needs. Invest your extras and don't make an all-in in crypto.
250  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How can I get into trading on: May 16, 2024, 01:06:42 PM
If you would like to be involved in the world of trading you must have at least knowledge of the things you would like to trade for example the token or coin you want to trade also what the purpose of this token if there's any impact or a lot of pairs into other coins? so you can ride with the market volatility, next is what platform you will use to trade those coins and if that coin you are eyeing is supported by them, check an exchange that is suitable with your trading habit. I guess last is the wallet you will be using, again exchange is not a wallet, make a separate wallet for storing of your funds, its better to pay fees than lose most of your assets due to possible reason of exchange. Not your keys, not your coins.

253  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do casinos require users to verify their identity through a KYC policy? on: May 15, 2024, 02:16:40 PM
I've read a lot of comments in this board stating that a user is required to undergo KYC if their account is suspected of cheating. Can anyone explain how it is necessary related to the subject? A detailed explanation would be better, but everyone's ideas are welcome, as I believe it's worth discussing so gamblers will not be misled regarding this matter, which pops up from time to time.

Casinos require a KYC due to different circumstances, could be the user getting into the other hand or for verification, possibly that theres a suspicious activity happening in a particular account such as deposits, withdrawals and IP address changes every time, there is a lot more reasons. It's their safety measures that no one will break their rules, the games abusing the reward they give and to be fair to other players. People lazy to read the terms and conditions once they see the rewards given by the casino they immediately make a deposit and if they win they keep complaining because they want to withdraw those wins without meeting the requirements.
254  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why do people lose in gambling and still go ahead and bet more? on: May 15, 2024, 02:07:22 PM
People keep hoping that they will gain back their losses with the profits if they will continuously playing gambling, they will just realize those things until they lose a lot of money, and people around them, and seem to be lost on their path due to excessive playing of gambling. It is too hard to please other people to stop if they even on themselves can't step their emotions to play more but if you really take care, make him realize what are the cons or impacts of playing gambling so at least that he can reminiscence what things he is doing.
255  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: May 15, 2024, 02:01:31 PM
The Man City team is great. They're at their best, with depth and talent. When serious, they're unstoppable. They must take this West Ham match seriously. West Ham had some good players and proved challenging. But City should win this game. They have the top players, management, and organisation. A winning combo, guys. Soccer is wild. Anything can happen. West Ham may be lucky, City may lose. Seen it before. It wont be easy. Never at this level. So, my prediction: Match won by City. Too excellent, too strong. It wont be easy. West Ham will fight and play spoiler. The excitement comes from that. It makes soccer the best sport in the world.
I'm sure Man City will be serious and maximize all their abilities against West Ham. For Man City, this 38th match is like the final match which determines whether they will lift the trophy or not. Man City will be the host so the chances of winning are very high. There is no reason for Arsenal to expect much from West Ham. Man City against West Ham will take place first, if the result is 3 points then Arsenal's match against Everton will be in vain, win or not, the result will not change anything and Man City will emerge as EPL champions for 4 consecutive seasons.

This year will be their other back-to-back winning champion if they win this match, Man City vs Westham, Based on their previous recent matches Man City dominates the game, from their overall encounter, Man City took 12 score goals than West Ham of only 4 goals. For the match of Arsenal vs Everton, this seems quite hard to Arsenal this time because they didnt cover too many goals from their previous encounters. It took another couple of months before the EPL started again. Good luck to all bettors who will enjoy the game of both teams!
256  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Martingale strategy is a failure if you are consistent with it on: May 15, 2024, 01:43:28 PM
This strategy is double the wage to gain back the losses and double the losses once you fail to win the game, I do strategy of martingale is once I won after lose streak I make another bet from the start like if I wage and lose I use this strategy and then once I earned back my loses and take at least small amount of profit ill go back to the original strategy, well sometimes its quite effective in my part but sometimes of course not, so I keep changing games than taking this strategy.
257  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Did gambling losses are traps to new game on: May 15, 2024, 01:35:21 PM
It depends on the game you are playing because if you have a good strategy and analytics with the game itself like the table top games you can easily identify the possible risk and odds of winning the game base on the previous results, but if you are just playing with the slot games or programmatically games i guess its quite hard to predict or at least lessen the chance to lose a large amount. Another thing is you don't need to take loan just to satisfy your gambling needs you will just lead those to your debts that cant pay once you lose more than that.
