We are not affiliated with Minersource.net or Miner Hosting LLC.

They may have used the address at 3700 Quebec St, however, 3700 Quebec st is a shopping/office center.

Every package will be signed and video recorded as they come in by the UPS, and Panera Bread is located within the same shopping center.

http://www.stapletondenver.com/directory?district=30

There are a few other bitcoin related businesses in colorado receive mails at the local UPS Store within the shopping center.

In the near future, Walk-In drop off may be offered at Denver Bitcoin Center, but, that arrangement is not yet active.

This USA address is one of the options.  You can always request RMA/Warranty via PM to Bitmain or info@bitmaintech.com or webmaster@bitmaintech.com

Are you and if so affiliated with Bitmaintech the actual manufacturer of the S4? Thanks

I held back because of price but that looks as if it is the least of the S4's problems. Hope for Bitmain these are just isolated incidents,

I'm on slushes pool, it don't report right at all, but I did notice a large number of discards on all three machines… I suspect that is impacting the overall performance of the S4… Anyone else have any ideas ?

Try http://stratum.bitcoin.cz:3333 instead and the S3's also have a high disregard rate, don't think it is anything to be concerned about. I know people were tweaking the settings in the cgminer script trying to get them down and CK advised back then to stop as it wasn't effecting anything not to be worried about it. Since he wrote cgminer I decided to leave them alone as he should know. On Slush's pool it will take a couple of hours for the front end to report your correct speed.

@sic1490
That is actually a good observation. We get in a good pocket of solving blocks, the hoppers come and "rock the boat" and out of the pocket we go.

Yep, we have seen it time and time again.

As we know, it ought to help not hinder, but it never seems to happen that way.  Perhaps over a longer period, it would go the way that logic suggests.  Problem is, the longer period never happens, because as soon as the blocks start to run dry, all the extra noses disappear from the trough. Sad

I agree, I would like to see them stay but watch what happens when we hit the first 12+ hour block we will be back to the 5.8 to 6.2 range. We never get that chance to create that new sweet spot it seems. Goes totally against the math and logic but have seen it happen exactly that way many times.

Somebody (probably another pool that mines pools) has pointed apx. 12 PH at us so we are probably screwed for a while. Seems like every time this happens block times go to 12+ hours and our rewards plummet. I know the extra hash should help us solve faster but history here shows the opposite. Hope I am wrong this time.

Thanks to both as that does answer the question, in a back room with door closed should be ok. I work in the same room as 6 s3's and the noise isn't an issue but they are running in a cooled environment. I appreciate it.

S4 Noise Level (1 Meter Away)

============================

S4 Noise Level behind the S4 (back side of S4 where the fan push the air out of S4)

Thanks, appreciate it.

dogie, good move for bitmain guess they do listen. Q. Can you find out what the decibel level is trying to figure out if this is going to be too loud for home.

Edit-- Didn't see where you were going to look into it from the earlier post, thanks.
251  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER S4 Discussion and Support Thread on: September 29, 2014, 04:05:00 PM
Bitmain, thanks for the recent price drop but do you have a decibel reading you can provide on the S4 and when will you release the S3's for sale? Thanks.

10.5 min avg blocks since new diff so might not go up much next round except even at that ridiculous price batch 1 s4 sold out in 12 hours

Batch 1 wasn't that large to begin with, this is from their post in S4 thread:
S4'B1 is limited in quantity, as it is the first mass production after the development stage.

understood still dont see how anyone would buy that 3.4 btc for .01 w gh/s improvement over s3+ .069 vs .070 when 2 s3+ is 1.16 and prob cheaper you can get 4 for over 1 btc cheaper and have same hash rate and I know it has an integrated psu so they wont have to buy 2 140 dollar psu's but they have to find a 16 amp power cord that fits hmmmmm... gonna be tuff 15 amp is what 12 gauge and thats already thicker then standard computer power cord bet it costs a bit and as standard outlets in the us are 15 amp rated I'm sure warranties will be void

Agree, I wonder if they noticed that server psu and those 4 large fans? It is going to be very loud.
S4 was obviously geared for their hosting option or a data center not the home. Either way you will never see ROI with it but sheep will be sheep.
yup i was looking online and it appears only 250 volt solutions for above 15 amp power cords

Wouldn't surprise me if the S5 when it comes out is a 220v only, just hope they don't drop the S3 line.

Bitmain, do you have a decibel reading on the S4 yet? You warn:

* Stable but a little bit noisy

With those large fans and that server psu it appears this is geared more for a Data Center Environment could you please give a decibel reading for those who intend to run a S4 at home to decide if it is reasonable? Thanks.

Off the FB page 4 hours ago:

Dear miners,

as you may have noticed, the upgrade of our web server backends has brought the following changes:

 - the minimum payout threshold has been lowered to 0.001 BTC

 - worker passwords are no more editable, our stratum servers simply accept any password.
257  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER S4 Discussion and Support Thread on: September 27, 2014, 12:23:08 AM
I bought today the s4 and about one month i buy again 2 machines. I dont know what's the problem. The miners what i have from them work perfect and after next week i make something like 2.5 btc a month. so not bad with my 5 a 6 th/s

No problem feel free and buy the 4 I was going to get, I prefer to actually ROI not just mine btc at any cost.
258  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER S4 Discussion and Support Thread on: September 27, 2014, 12:09:03 AM
Funny how Bitmain went from the preferred home mining manufacturer to the most hated so quickly. What a fickle business this BTC mining is!

Noise wise(server psu, 3u cabinet, & 4 large blade fans) along with the option for hosting we can see what this miner is made for and it isn't home mining. I just hope they keep the S3 line around.

Hi everyone - It is really nice to see the support everyone gets on slush - Why ive always pointed my miners at slush - Got a good family/community feel.

I did however wanted to ask if anyone could help me, I basically wanted to point all 60 GH/s of my antminer u1 dongles to mining solo.

I have managed to get the bitcoin qt wallet into server mode.

Now the dongles that are directly connected to the pc running bitcoin qt mine solo no problem by pointing them to the ip of the same pc, But when i try and point any of my machines on my network (S3 and a rasberry pi with dongles) They at first said my pool was alive but didnt show any hashing at all, and now they just say my pool is dead.

I just wanted to check i won't need to setup my own stratum server. as i may run out of computers trying to set this up.

Any help anyone can give would be greatly appreiciated - I also know that pointing my miners at bitsolo would solve the issue, but i just don't trust that sort of setup, prefer to make my own and do it the hard way  Tongue

Haven't tried it but see if this helps: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=512042.0

Edit:
this was the other link I was looking for, probably the easiest way. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=763510.0

WOW!!!

THANKS VERY MUCH!!!

MAKES THINGS LOTS EASIER FOR US NOVICES WITHOUT THE RESEARCH.  I BELIEVE THEIR .5% FEE OF THE BLOCK FOUND IS WELL WORTH IT!!!

THANKS AGAIN!!!

No problem, that last link is CK's pool I do and would completely trust him.

@Chris12821
Using variance by splitting your hash between two pools is very smart, it can really help if one pool is having a bad luck day. I run 85% Slush and 15% BTCguild. I played with it a lot, and that combo works best for me.

Yea.   That's sounds pretty good.    I'll be getting rid of almost all my miners so I can get some s3s .    but yea.  No sense of having 100% of ur hash power on 1 pool she. They have either a low reward or slow blocks.

Hopefully we get back in the game soon

Its working for me so far.

Wow.    This is garbage.

My reward. 0.00222115
My shares. 13021046
It was the 18hr block.  Lucks dropping Sad

Check these out, they work great over here at Slush as well as several others. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=795609.20
